I think a truly underrated part of Annie's 'speech' at the dinnertable is actually the first line with, "Don't you swear at me, you little shit!" — not only does it highlight her hypocrisy, it calls to attention her habit of name-calling with her children.
To be clear, I don't think Annie is evil. I don't even think Annie is a villain. She's grieving, nobody's speaking to one another and she's upset about it. Peter also did drop the much worse 'f-word' before it. However, even before Charlie's death, she refers to Charlie herself as 'an idiot', and almost constantly has a tone with Peter that implies she wants to insult him ( for example, that scene when he's in the workshop asking to use the car, it's as if she can't get rid of him fast enough; the script even notes that she's 'annoyed by the intrusion' , as if Peter has no right to be in there, and the way she speaks to him is incredibly passive-aggressive right out of the gate). There's also the 'stupid quarrelling phase' she references. We don't get to see any of that, but we can anticipate it was more of the same.
However, to deny that she's incredibly emotionally abusive is just negligent. The clue's in the title tbh; her behaviour is hereditary, but it's still her behaviour, and it's trickled down to Peter as a result. He is very closed off, deflects constantly when asked about how he feels about something and grieves only in the privacy of his own room, when he's alone. It's an uncomfortable story about how sometimes the abused don't "grow stronger/nicer" as a result of their pain, they simply become abusers themselves.

you know what no I'm not done I'm not done raving about the 2025 Lilo and Stitch like a lunatic. Have to get it outta my system I wanna be a BITCH today
This is coming from someone who is very biased towards the original movie and decided to do their first hate-pirate watch just so they knew exactly what they would be raving about. So it's not an analysis really. If you like the 2025 movie then I'm happy for you, buuuut maybe don't read this 👉👈
This is not meant to discourage anyone from watching the movie, this is just me ranting and nitpicking lol. If you are interested do watch it (PIRATED) and form your own opinion!
Spoiler warning, long post
Pleakley
Tumblr media
Hey let's talk about the changes made to Pleakley's character other than 'no dresses'
Live action: Here's the thing. They seem to understand that an inseperable part of Pleakley's character is his love for fashion. So to work around the dress ban, they decided to give him the love for human fashion from the very start. He first shows up in front of the councilwoman in a cowboy outfit. Every time his human disguise is out, he is always wearing something different (flowery shirts and hats, a mini concert backpack, etc).
But to me this further simplifies an already comedic side character. He can't even have the progression from 'mosquitoes are cool' to 'fashion is cool', or be redeemed in his view of humans from fascinating specimens to thinking feeling beings!! He has nowhere to go as a character because they moved his end point to the starting point, erasing the road!!!
By taking away his discovery of his love for fashion, he remains the same throughout the whole movie with only half the competence of his animated counterpart so he can't even be a funny punching bag character. Idk how else to explain it
Og: A smartass dripping with condescension but also scientific fascination, his disrespect to the councilwoman comes from his confidence
Live action: His disrespect to the councilwoman comes from a lack of understanding of boundaries, he constantly gets so excited he asks to hug her.
Live action: Actually he's oddly enthusiastic in this movie??? He is HYPED to be teamed up with Jumba and clings to him on first sight, he is HYPED to go to Earth and stay on Earth. He has a bit of a nervous golden retriever energy. They did keep him high-strung about the mission, which is kind of entertaining to watch when played off of Jumba.
Live action: Speaking of Jumba, they really committed! People are saying Jumba turned on Pleakley and that Jumba was the twist villain. Not true! Pleakley turns on Jumba and Jumba was always a whiny heartless ass. The councilwoman orders him to arrest Jumba after they fail and Pleakley moves to do so with a shrug. Go off buddy cops who hate each other give us nothing
To read me bitch more about Jumba, it's all here in this post, Nani is also talked about a ton in it lmao
Lilo
Tumblr media
(No hate to the live action actor, she's delightful)
Og: In hula, she has a violent outburst in response to an insensitive comment.
Live action: In hula, she gets actively shoved onstage. I am neutral about this tbh
Live action: Lilo asking 'we're a broken family, aren't we?' is replaced by 'Am I...bad?' for Nani to comfort her. watch the Sims negative relationship points appear above my head in real time
Live action: Most of her scenes are now dedicated to being chaotic cute or encouraging Nani. The scene in her bedroom where we learn about how her parents died is dedicated to Lilo talking about Nani's backstory I am not joking
Live action: does not discuss how their parents' death affect Lilo. Lilo is a side character and a troublemaker in her own movie. Watching her gas up this college plotline because the script thinks Lilo should be more understanding of Nani is so awkward
Og: About family, Lilo says 'What happened to yours? Do you dream about them? I know that's why you wreck things. And push me.'
Live action: Lilo says 'Do you have a family?' and Stitch says 'No.' and Lilo says 'that's okay, you can be a part of ours 😊'
It's a fine change I think, all the same it shows Lilo's emotional intelligence, but the vibe is off. I can't place it
Og: Lilo tries to explain Stitch's behaviour all the time: 'He needs desserts!' 'It's past his bedtime!' 'He's an orphan and we adopted him!' 'Be careful of the little angel!' The angel I wished for, Lilo doesn't say, he has to be the one I wished for!
During the Elvis Presley beach scene in the og Lilo cries out for the spectators to stop crowding him!!! and she is correct, the camera flashes overwhelm Stitch and he lashes out again!!!
Live action: Lilo sticks up for Stitch but it's slightly different, she says 'He's just exploring his new home!' 'He's just curious!' as he's sticking forks in the blender - it feels more like she's oblivious to just how destructive his behaviour is and excusing it. She's still a really sweet brave child but her naivety is played up on purpose here to frusrate Nani even more! She only tries to seriously get on Stitch about good behaviour when everyone around keeps telling her to control her dog - Stitch is an escaped convict, he's not actually a dog does the 2025 movie know that it's important to me that they know that
Og: Lilo is so defensive of Stitch because she sees herself in him (and also he's just a magic talking animal to her). Not in the way that the 2025 movie thinks, that she's getting a taste of her own medicine (she's 6, why do you want a grieving 6 year old to learn a Cat in the Hat lesson, Lilo ALREADY KNOWS CONSEQUENCES) but in that she believes Stitch is capable of more than just a destroying beast!!!
Live action: But in the 2025 movie she sees Stitch as top tier playmate material that needs to be controlled sometimes??
Nani
Tumblr media
Live action: Listen she still loves Lilo. Tickle fights and concern for her and laughing at her antics, there is effort to show they care, she cares.
Og: When Lilo says 'I like you better as a sister than a mom' it's sad because that's the role Nani is in now. Nani doesn't know what to say, she wants to be a sister too!!
Live action: When Lilo says 'I like you better as a sister than a mom', Nani says 'Ouch.' in like a jokey way and I don't know what to make of that.
Live action: The movie gives her Fiona Gallagher levels of stress when they added two whole characters who live NEXT DOOR that have a close bond with Lilo and know their situation super well. She is not Tiana, why are we doing this (I've never watched Shameless I just know the entire plot through TikTok osmosis 😔)
Horror just flashed before me at the thought of a Princess and the Frog live action remake in the future
Live action: They added a wise playful grandma and social worker to constantly explain the plot to Nani and the audience ughhh
The grandma tells Nani she is smart and deserves college. The grandma tells her to make up with her sister after they fight. Social worker doesn't sit Lilo and Nani down to counsel their situation and set goals, she only sits Nani down. The grandma takes Lilo to get a pet behind Nani's back and explains what pets are for to Nani. The grandma says 'hey we're ohana too' and then later we have a scene where Nani says Ohana isn't realistic.
The grandma and the social worker keep telling Nani she's so smart and selfless and she works so hard, after the movie shows that Nani is smart and selfless and works so hard. She works so hard and is struggling so much that she misses Lilo's hula show and it's sad for everyone.
Basically they gave away Nani's sillier side, understanding and patience of Lilo, and time spent with her sister that isn't scolding, to the grandma. Leaving Nani with just the tragedy
They also do a reoccurring thing with Nani struggling to start her car until the end? I don't know what that's about. I think it's symbolic for her life or something. someone tell me why they gave her car troubles on top of college troubles
Nani is a mouthpiece for the movie too. The scene where Lilo tries to use Ohana to stop Stitch from being sent away, Nani interrupts her and rants at her about how unrealistic Ohana is now, and Stitch doesn't bat an eye, still a background nuisance. Huh
How does one fuck up the record player joke I hear you ask
Tumblr media
One morning, Lilo places a record in front of Nani and demonstrates Stitch's biopunk capabilities, absurdly transforming him into a flesh gramophone.
Og: half the punchline is Nani's utter baffled reaction at madness. This is her life now and she's more certain than ever the dog is radioactive
Live action: Nani is so busy she barely acknowledges it. Lilo has to explain why this is cool actually, falling on deaf ears as Nani is more anxiously focused on being late and having to bring Lilo along to her job applications.
Again, along with the missed hula show, they want to show how stressed Nani is to the point where she CAN'T be in Lilo's life, that Lilo is a distraction, and that's why the separation is for the best. The HOOPS this movie is jumping through mate
If you want to read more about what I've said about og Nani, it's in here
Councilwoman alien
Tumblr media
This is the figurehead of the alien plot that they kept
Live action: Why is she talking so fast. Why are all the alien scenes going by so fast. The beginning, from Stitch's courtroom meeting to Jumba and Pleakley being sent after him, takes like less than 10 minutes in the new one.
Og: Councilwoman is wise enough to find loopholes in her strict rules in the name of ethics, she's a grumpy governor whose every move is methodical and speaks sharply to get things done.
Live action: they only halfway did that here?? At the end Cobra didn't even make up the mosquito conspiracy here, he just tells the councilwoman 'Hey. Trust me. I won't tell the government about this. 🥺'. and the councilwoman is like 'okay sure Stitch can stay.'
Stitch
Tumblr media
Live action: A full-on dog, a puppy, a goofy creature that gets guilt halfway through instead of also being motivated by a desire for companionship
Live action: In the surfing scene, Stitch sees a dog surfing and wants to mimic it. That's it, that's why he gets on the water
Live action: New home adjustment scene, Stitch does not falter at Lilo using Ohana to stop Nani sending him away.
Here's Stitch's progress in the original film:
Destroy everything, evade the cops, find a city where I can kill everything rawr
Gets humbled by earth
Gets humbled by Lilo just hanging out
Gets humbled by Jumba and Pleakley on his ass
Hears Ohana just as he's about to get kicked out, sparking something in him
Lilo calms him down then tells him to redirect his energy towards something constructive. He makes a model of San Francisco to terrorize but it's a start
There's no memories for him to visit in the night, no other purpose than to destroy, so he starts looking through books to find it
He plays along with Lilo teaching him to play music, albeit chaotically, but he's such a natural tornado that he just brings destruction everywhere he goes. And now he's in an environment where destroying is both purposeless and not even fun, and he questions everything again
Getting humbled by surfing, placed into a situation with his natural enemy element (water) where he doesn't have the advantage. Seeing how much fun Lilo and her sister (+ future brother-in-law) are having, he finds himself yearning again, what intelligent creature doesn't? He willingly returns to water, he's scared but he's learning that water can be fun, he HUGS NANI'S LEG AND NANI FINDS HIM BRIEFLY ENDEARING
He breaks everything again, not even on purpose, the more he learns about Lilo he feels like he should remove himself from the picture, he's lost again and again. Aka consequences, he is forced again and again to grapple with consequences
He reveals himself as an alien to Lilo, he's honest on purpose because he knows he fucked up and she deserves to know the truth
During his arrest he decides to motivate Nani with Ohana again, because he's not leaving this time without them. And he gets them to save Lilo, then he ends the movie as ohana who helps with the chores
Stitch's progress in the live action: he just feels bad when Jumba calls him out and gets protective of Lilo out of nowhere!! The bond is them causing chaos together which is just more stress for Nani???
Live action: He willingly gives himself up for capture. Touching and noble, but they've missed out on yet another opportunity for Nani warm up to him.
When they make the surfing scene just surfing and the capture scene just capture, there's no reason for Nani to save Stitch from drowning the end of the movie other than an obligation to her sister and 'Ohana'! Again, it feels like obligation!!! And for plot reasons, to give Nani the selfless spotlight yet again and throw in a fakeout death scene for Stitch.
Live action: He doesn't shove Lilo like a petulant bully, his chaos feels more like playtime. It changes things when the 2025 movie makes him tear up the house with a wide-eyed smile on his face as opposed to the original where he's snarling and hissing the whole time. They're both carrying out their purpose to destroy everything they see but again. The vibes are off
He's not just a cute freak!! He's SOMETHING THAT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO EXIST WHO LEARNS TO LOVE AND HAS A CHANGE OF PERSPECTIVE THROUGH THE GRACE OF THE PEOPLE AROUND HIM!!! Agahgahhh
Extra:
The shot of the Hawaiian flag during a monologue near the ending? Cool I guess. I'm Malaysian, I recognise an intentional flag camera shot when I see one 🫵
CapriSun placement is also very unexpected and kind of funny. They did it like twice lmao. 'With the power of CapriSun you too can beat up Jumba in your own home!'
A lot of the 2025 movie removes if not changed the decisions their characters make that would affect the plot. It rearranges scenes without any consideration of why those scenes were there in the first place. And the scenes from the og that aren't totally altered go by so quickly with a dozen jokes per second, like the movie wants to move on and get to the new stuff they added.
Aaaah I think that's everything
Gonna go now

[Anon request (2/2)]: “Since MC is broke, what do the LIs think of them showing affection through gifts, even if they haven't got money? I can imagine they make simple, inexpensive things like paper flowers for Leander or friendship bracelets for Ais.”
Tumblr media
Yes yes yes~ - I don't think they'd care much about the price tbh
Tumblr media
Ais
✩ "Hm… what is this?" Ais asks as he's handed a hand-made bracelet.
"It's a friendship bracelet I made for you," the MC replies with a smile. "I hope you like it."
✩ He's dumbfounded.
✩ Ais looks down at the bracelet in his hand and takes a moment to examine the colorful beads. He is surprisingly gentle as he handles the bracelet, his fingers tracing the intricate patterns. "You made this? For me?"
"Yep."
✩  High possibility there’s either a birb or bone charm in the middle (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻
✩ He's definitely the type to believe there's a reason behind every action someone takes.
✩ "It's handmade, huh? Why waste your time on something so pointless for me?"
✩ The MC's smile falters slightly at Ais's words, but they quickly recover. "It's not a waste of time if it's something I enjoyed making for you," they say softly. "If you don't want it, I'll take it back—"
✩ Meanwhile, Ais had already fastened it to his wrist.
✩ "Who said I didn't want it?" Ais interrupts, his eyes softening as he admires the bracelet. "You think I'd let you give me a gift, then just take it away so easily?"
✩ "I just don't understand why you would go through all this trouble for me." The MC chuckles, a hint of blush coloring their cheeks. "I wanted to show my appreciation for all you've done for me," they explain.
✩ Ais looks at the bracelet on his wrist, and a small smile tugs at the corners of his lips. "Thank you, sparrow. I'll treasure it."
Leander
🗡 After yet another magic show of luck-filled lilies, Leander notices the MC sitting at the bar, busy doing something just out of view. He puts on a charming smile and takes a seat next to them. "Oh, what do we have here?"
The MC presents him with a few napkin-made lilies.
🗡 Leander's eyes widen in surprise, and he smiles as he picks one up, delicately examining the folded paper and twirling it between his fingers.
🗡 Leander is a man who enjoys both the big (̶A̶i̶s̶)̶ and the small (̶M̶h̶i̶n̶)̶ things in life.
🗡 "These are amazing," he exclaims, genuinely impressed. "Did you fold these yourself?"
🗡 "Impressive. I can't say I've ever seen napkin origami this accurate before."
🗡 I̶n̶ t̶h̶a̶t̶ m̶o̶m̶e̶n̶t̶, h̶e̶ r̶e̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ w̶i̶s̶h̶e̶d̶ h̶e̶ h̶a̶d̶ a̶ b̶r̶e̶a̶s̶t̶ p̶o̶ck̶e̶t̶
🗡 He takes the small flower and gently tucks it behind the MC's ear, his hand lingering just long enough for them to feel the warmth of his skin at the uncovered base of his palm.
🗡 "Thank you for this lovely gift," he says with a soft smile.
Kuras
✞ He just blinks down at the object in confusion. "A bookmark?"
✞ He takes it, carefully inspecting it and smoothing his fingers over the glossy surface, intrigued by its unexpected smoothness.
✞ The bookmark is a deep shade of amethyst, with hand-painted gold designs etched into the surface. As he turns it over in his hands, he notices a small inscription on the back.
✞ Curious, he squints (bad eyesight gang, let's go) to make out the messy script that reads, 'For the most fascinating doctor.'
✞ "Ah."
✞ Speechless.
✞ For the first time since the MC woke up at his clinic after the Soulless' attack, his smile falters. A strange look flickers across his face—something caught between guilt and sorrow—there one minute and gone the next.
✞ "Do you not—"
"No, I like it..." He quickly reassures them. "Just a little startled. I'm not used to receiving gifts."
✞ Same song and dance. A̶n̶d̶ h̶e̶ k̶n̶o̶w̶s̶ i̶t̶.
✞ "It's... a very nice bookmark."
✞ Careful. He forces his gaze back to their eyes, to their friendly, expectant expression. His hands absently smooth out the wrinkles on his white coat as he tries to find the words to say. But none of them are appropriate.
✞ T̶h̶e̶y̶ a̶r̶e̶ s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ s̶o̶ y̶o̶u̶n̶g̶. S̶o̶ o̶p̶e̶n̶. S̶o̶ n̶a̶ïv̶e̶.
✞ He shoves down the guilt that claws its way up his throat, hiding it beneath an impenetrable facade. When his eyes flash up to the MC's, the gold swirls in his irises as he forces a smile—steadfast, unwavering. The one he has had centuries to perfect.
✞ "Thank you," he finally manages to say, the words feeling foreign on his tongue.
Vere
✦ Vere, sitting across the table, observed the MC with a coy smile as they moved a broken-in-half pencil along the edge of the sheet of paper, brow furrowed in concentration, eyes focused intently on the task at hand, wavering only to glance up at Vere. Often. Very often.
✦ "What're you drawing there? Don't tell me you're sketching me."
A guilty smile overcomes their lips as they lift their eyes to meet his pink ones.
✦ Vere chuckled, leaning forward slightly. "Oh, how predictable. You can't help it, can you? I've just got such a captivating presence. But I must say, I'm flattered to be your muse."
"…It was supposed to be a gift."
✦ Vere pretended to be wounded, feigning a look of hurt. "Oh, how dare you! You'd just give away art portraying my stunning and irresistible beauty so easily? I'm wounded."
"For you."
✦ Vere pauses for a moment, allowing the words to sink in before bursting into laughter. "For me? Well, in that case, I accept your gift with grace and humility. I suppose I could find room in my collection for one more sketch of myself. After all, they are my favorites, just like you."
✦ "Carry on with your sketching, my talented artist."
✦ Truth be told, it turned out mediocre at best.
✦ Vere looked at the sketch, his expression a tad puzzled amongst the amusement. He held the sketch up to his face, examining it closely with a raised eyebrow.
✦ "Well, well, well... You certainly have a keen eye for detail, I must say." He chuckled softly, glancing up at them with a sly smile.
✦ "If you don't want it, you could just say so—"
He quickly snatched the sketch from their hands. "Oh, no no no, I'm keeping this. Consider it a token of your affection towards me."
✦ Vere has an expensive taste; that's a known fact. But he was willing to overlook the lackluster quality of the sketch purely out of vanity. He didn't need to know that the sketch was hastily done and far from impressive. As long as Vere believed it was a masterpiece, that's all that mattered.
Mhin
🕊 They are definitely a foodie. Please gift them sweets, if possible.
🕊 Mhin takes the bag, eyeing it suspiciously. Then, they peek inside, revealing a handful of sweets.
🕊 "A gift?" Mhin echoes, looking up at the MC, their face betraying a hint of bewilderment. "What's the angle?”
🕊 Mhin hesitantly picks up one, studying it like a puzzle to be solved. Then, they warily take a bite. A moment later, a small flicker of surprise and pleasure washes over their face.
🕊 T̶r̶u̶t̶h̶ b̶e̶ t̶o̶l̶d̶, t̶h̶e̶y̶ h̶a̶l̶f-̶e̶x̶p̶e̶c̶t̶e̶d̶ t̶h̶e̶m̶ t̶o̶ b̶e̶ p̶o̶i̶s̶o̶n̶e̶d̶
🕊 Mhin crosses their arms defiantly, but their Mhin's voice softens a touch. Despite their hard, distrustful veneer, there is a hint of vulnerability in their eyes.
🕊 "You... really just wanted to give me this? No hidden motives, no expectations?"
🕊 "I..." Mhin falters. Then, something strange happens: a corner of their mouth twitches up, as if fighting away a smile. "I don't understand you. But... Thanks, I guess."
🕊 In the more-than-likely scenario that sweets are expensive expensive in Eridia, I offer you the alternative: Hand-made dagger cat charm.
🕊 They look at the charm in their hand, confusion dancing across their face. The words fail to come to them; instead, their face turns into a frown.
🕊 “What is that supposed to be?”
🕊 A huff of breath leaves their lips as they reluctantly take the charm. They are clearly unimpressed. "You made this? Why would I need a charm? I don’t need luck; I trust my skills and my instincts."
🕊 "If you don't want it—"
They snatch the charm from their hand, almost possessively. “I didn’t say I don’t want it. I just...never mind.”
🕊 They attach the charm to their dagger, secretly basking in the warmth that spreads through their chest.
🕊 "Thank you," they finally mutter, refusing to meet their eyes.
🕊 Now, when they grip the weapon, a sense of reassurance floods over them as their fingers brush over the charm, despite their attempts to hide it.
🕊 Though they may not need luck, having a reminder of someone who cared enough to make them a gift was a comfort in itself.

You are now watching… desired reality tv!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
hi there! welcome to desired reality tv! i’m your host: brooke! and i can’t wait for you to tune in to the channel. today news center 222 is gonna be covering an interview with yours truly, by yours truly.
Tumblr media
first things first, get to know your host!
・ 。゚☆: hi everyone! my name is brooke, i’m 19 years old, and i’m an aquarius sun, aries moon, and gemini rising! i learned about shifting/manifesting wayyyy back in 2019! i’ve been actively practicing shifting since 2020 and have been doing manifestation/spiritual practices for about the same amount of time!
my favorite color is purple (clearly). i love music (even though my taste is quite basic idrc). i like to read (i say as if i’m not in a horrible reading slump). i’m new to tumblr in general and i’m super open to making new shifting/loa friends if anyone’s interested! <3
where do i shift to?
・ 。゚☆: currently, i’m fixated on my mcu x marauders crossover dr! james potter holds my heart and soul i fear… (but don’t tell him i said that please!)
i also have a dc x mcu dr, which i’m superrr excited to shift to but it’s a bit more complex than my other dr so it’s on a back burner in my mind!! (who am i kidding, i fantasize about it all the time?!)
as for other drs… in theory i have a few fame drs, an f1 dr, a pjo/hoo dr, an andrew garfield spider-man dr, and whatever else is on my mind any given day. none of these are scripts i’ve finished tbh, but i want to go there one day. (anyone else get the urge to shift to any media you consume?!!)
miscellaneous facts about me?!
・ 。゚☆: as i stated before, my favorite color is purple, i love all shades, lavender and royal purple (cool undertones preferred) have my <3 fully. i love fantasy and dystopian books, always looking for good recs because i hate searching on my own can’t lie (i promise i’m gonna read caraval soon rachel.) i’m obsessed with learning about the universe, spirituality, neuroplasticity, loa, all of the “woo woo” witchy or science idc, it’s fascinating.
series i love: invincible, the vampire diaries, teenwolf, young justice, cobra kai (haven’t finished the last season yet), THE ORIGINALS (elijah mikaelson the man you are), x-men 97, percy jackson, the mcu, harry potter (fuck jkr btw), the arrowverse (have not finished everything but still love it), the hunger games, spider-verse and all spider-man media, little women, and probably a bunch more i cannot recall.
fav artists: harry styles, arctic monkeys, maisie peters, sabrina carpenter, frank ocean, taylor swift, 1d, zayn, ariana grande, tate mcrae
where am i at in my journey?
・ 。゚☆: currently? i’m on my way to fully shifting to my marauders x mcu dr. i’ve mini-shifted so many times i cannot remember, i’ve fully shifted to alternate one offs of either my cr or dr… (super annoying btw, but thankful for the proof of shifting i suppose) i’ve also had plenty of “dream-shifts” which is a term me and @alleviatcd coined a few years ago, which basically means shifting through a dream into a real life version of said dream or something similar. (we were using it as a really loose term tbh)
i’ve had plenty of experiences with shifting and manifesting by now, i’m at the point in my journey where i’m implementing it in a way where it’s just a normal part of my life, not some outlandish goal i’m trying to complete. i decided to make this blog to have somewhere to ramble (like most of us i assume), and hopefully help a few people and myself out along the way.
Tumblr media
if you’ve read all the way down here… i love you so bad wtf?!!! thank you so much for tuning into the pilot episode of desired reality tv: news center 222! if you’ve got any questions or ideas for me to post about send an ask, a dm, or whatever, i love yapping. and i love YOU all!
with love,
b <3

re: sex scene dialogue / oops, i was talking abt houndstooth (i just finished reading it), and i think its your ability to be wordy without being long-winded, meticulous and purposeful in how you chose to portray that scene (and the story in general), at least thats the impression i got. thankyou for writing it, it was so fun to read and kind of painful to finish lol. i find it hard to get into fic and romance genre in general and tbh i had logged houndstooth as something that i wouldnt be interested in bc i assumed the dynamic would give way to cut and dry dom/sub dynamics, which was my bad cos the nuance was beautiful. also just curious, how did u go about (if u did) researching the finer details? the coding jargon, chemical weapons etc etc. are these things you're familiar with or had to look into? and was it difficult to reach a point where you were confident enough in what you knew to format it into the story?
omggg i was wondering if it might have been houndtooth!! that was definitely the one sex scene i avoided dialogue bc it felt out of place. i’m so so glad you enjoyed it and the story! <33
i did have to do a lot of research for the story, but it was the youtube/wikipedia/reddit kind to research lol. i had some base level knowledge about nerve agents and chemical warfare only because i’ve always found it morbidly fascinating.
as far as the coding stuff i mostly used google and reddit to get an extremely cursory idea of what a linux script/terminal might look like. and i mean extremely cursory lol. i’m sure what i came up with is totally unrealistic but hopefully believable enough to not take people out of the story
to your last point, omg yes it took me SO long to get to a point that i felt confident including certain things. i struggle with a latent cinema-sins attitude when consuming media myself so i’m paralysed by the fear some aspect of my story will be picked apart for its inaccuracies.
usually i have to tell myself “why the fuck am i researching what material handheld radios are made of, people are here for the porn” lmfao

Could you please, please tell me everything about the 1990's Good Omens (very bad) Movie script? you mentioned not being able to taIk about it because no one is interested (which I very much relate to, but in just basically anything Good Omens related) I was not there for when it was leaked, so I'd really like to know like... all of it (I promise I am so interested, and also very very obsessed with Good Omens. I'll absolutely be your captive audience.)
the only things I think I know are that Crowley's mean and has a nightclub, and Aziraphale has a museum(??). and it's in America??
You don't know how happy it just makes me to ramble on about that one. Could write a whole essay tbh (I try my best not to bc my spelling is atrocious pff ).
Only snagged it myself after a whole year of searching when it got put up on Dropbox for a few hours. Got taken down quickly again. Idk if it was bc of a copyright claim or if the owner took it down themselves bc it isn't supposed to be spread around due to said issues and they (not quite so cleverly) posted the Link on a post that would make it especially easy for the copyright holder to find it. At any rate, I Got really lucky in that regard. The copyright issues around this thing are fascinating in general and could make for a great study in regards to the flaws of that system.
As for the script contents... Well it's something.
Yes Crowley is mean, it would be wrong however to reduce that version of him to that. (I will try and point out why later). Yes he owns a nightclub, the aptly named hellfire on a hill (? Idk enough about british topography to know if that's a hint towards a real part of town or just bc the visual of it is cool ) in London. So It does not play in America and Aziraphale is working at the British museum. Canon explanation why they try everything and anything to not give back the artefacts they stole, I suppose. (That was a joke. In the script itself it isn't even as much as mentioned that our favorite angel has any interest in collecting anything, missed opportunity if you ask me)
In general the whole thing plays out extremely differently from the story we all love. And sadly lacks the Prattchian humor... For obvious reasons. It does have it's moments tho not many but they are there. ( "Crowley un-snakes" will never not be funny)
What follows is a lengthy summary which will have a bit of analysis and personal interpretation mixed into it . Bc who needs good struktur if you can do stream of consciousness? Am I right?
We begin with the protagonist Crowley in company of Aziraphale, who in this version sadly takes a bit of a backseat, playing checkers in Aziraphale's study. In this version they are color coded: with pure white clothing and hair and pure black clothing and hair. Crowley remarks that 'everything is going too well'. To which Aziraphale points out, that complaining seems to be a favorite past time of the demon. in this version he has a knack for putting down/dismissing Crowley on basis of being a demon (" Oh, isn't that just like a demon? Six-thousand years and all you do is complain") and it's part of his ark , kinda. Cohesion and following things through isn't exactly a strong suit here.
It looks like Aziraphale is about to win, however Crowley uses the cliché 'Lock over there' trick to cheat. In the following dialogue we learn that they have been playing one checkers match a week for the past six thousand years. So basically it's presumed they played their first match in Eden before checkers was even invented. (Then again the stage direction describes a painting depicting Crowley as green snake wearing sunglasses in Eden, so they just have been trend setters from the start) . They then set a date for their next match, Crowley makes his distaste for earth known, they meet Aziraphale's assistant Polly, who is very unimpressed by Crowley and then he is off not without causing some mischief with a stolen wallet.
Aziraphale gets a little scene where he is appraising a painting for its authenticity. He gets called 'bramy as a box of fruit bats' and tells the ones that brought the painting that if it were real, he'd know bc he would have seen the master paint it. The interesting thing here is that this scene essentially is there to show us, that despite not acknowledging Crowley's cheating or directly calling out the forgery and its purpose (to gain money), even calling it pretty, he knows what's going on he simply chooses to play/be aloof .
Next we get introduced to the nightclub. Nothing much happens here at first except that we get introduced to the Barstaff. Or well at least Tina (my love) the barman. As it seems Crowley is managing a successful business and outside of a little rant, calling people sheep and wanting bigger cocktail umbrellas, he genuinely seems to be competent in his leadership and friendly to his staff. Even knowing them by name .
Other notable staff members are Warren, I think he has one line and is the handyman/security of the nightclub and Marjorie who gets a few more lines and is part of the waitstaff. Who by the way are put in full body imp costumes bc of course the nightclub is themed after hell.
Crowley then contacts hell, where he ultimately gets told that Satan himself has a special task for him. And we get the first clue that Crowley, who so far has given us very cool very early 90's style Anti"hero' is scared shitless. Not just that, hell thinks he is a bit of a loser, not being impressed by his mission reports and all that.
We then get to the good old Hyde Park scene with a nearly drowned drake safed by Aziraphale's intervention and everything. What is interesting here however is, that Crowley is a full blown nihilist and Aziraphale just very over enthusiastically positive. Aziraphale saying a woman is doing something good by giving her ice cream to a child while Crowley points out that the ice had first been dropped to the ground and been liked by a dog. (Script!Aziraphale as much as I love you but I am with script! Crowley on this one). Aziraphale points out that that hardly matters because the child is happy and that makes it a good deed. Crowley snarkily retorts that happiness is a stupid metric for good things and says he likes one thing about humans : that they are reliable in doing the selfish bad thing.
Aziraphale then tries to get Crowley to reveal why things are going to well. Crowley points out that they are enemies and he shouldn't give out that information despite the arrangement (sadly we don't get more information about that but I would love to know how it looked in that universe) and only is convinced by Aziraphale being hurt about it and giving him sad puppy eyes. Crowley then invites Aziraphale over to his nightclub after hours to talk about what head office actually wants from him.
We then jump to the nightclub again. Crowley is surprisingly decent towards people, Tina is managing the club and all seems rather nice. Madam Tracy is making an entrance. In this version she is an slowly aging out of it IT-girl. It's implied that she had a multitude of affairs and that she has now been payed off big time. (I enjoy Madam Tracy in this version a LOT). She never seems to be quite there but still owns any situation.
Her and Crowley have a little conversation that gets broken up when he decides to deal with a Troublemaker at the bar instead of letting Warren take care of it. (Side note that part of the script gave me the HC that script! Crowley is very short, definitely shorter than script!Aziraphale don't ask me why) . He is having a full blown Anime protagonist moment, including using the bribe the trouble maker gives him to give to the Waitress the Troublemaker had harassed in a very cool™ manner and stopping a punch with one hand. Just believe me it's very anime. But again Crowley seems to be actual decent boss, believe it or not.
He then gets a Call in the bathroom . Satan talking to him through the mirror without prior notice. He orders Crowley to get to a graveyard within 30 minutes. Crowley is keeping it together but he is panicking. He is having a short conversation with Tracy again in which he stays relatively friendly surprisingly enough.
Fun fact this whole film would have had "Every day' as musical theme. Bc from this moment the song gets mentioned continuously.
After speeding and vandalizing a cop car out of desperation since he is late and they determined to stop him, we get to meet satan. In this version he is a cold calculating (but very cool) business man . Crowley, in German we'd say 'legt sich erstmal ordentlich auf's maul' (meaning he trips and falls on the ground). He is groveling before him, bootlicking and trying to appease his Master (for real tho if that movie would have been made there would have been Satan/Crowley shippers bc that shit is some fuel for a toxic ship). At any rate Crowley is making a bit of a fool of himself and Satan is enjoying the Powertrip. In the end he gives Crowley the antichrist with the task to raise the baby or else suffer worse than anyone else in hell. However if he succeedes he is getting to leave the planet (again he supposedly doesn't even like earth in this version)
Anathema is introduced. She is just a little occult girl that felt the antichrist coming to earth. No mentioning of prophecies or anything. Our beloved Agnes does not exist in this universe. Just a little girl with green eyes and a sense for the occult.
Now with a baby he is supposed to take care of, Crowley makes his way back to the nightclub. There he hides the newborn from his employees and gets pulled away to discuss something by Tina. Since he is hiding the baby he puts the newborn down, right into Madam Tracy's money bag. And well, while he is off talking with Tina , Madam Tracy is taking her bag without noticing the child and off she goes. Leaving Crowley with the problem of a lost antichrist and for some reason a slowmo shot of him trying to catch up with a taxi.
He starts drinking. He knows he is done for so what's the point. (The first bottle he grabs is Aardvark Snapps idk why I finde that interesting) . At this point he has accepted that he will end up for an eternity being punished. Hours later Aziraphale makes an appearance and is a little bit judgemental about Crowley being drunk. (Side note: an other hc of mine is that script!Aziraphale is straight edge bc of that scene). Crowley tries to have him join him drinking but fails. And then just tries a to have a little heart to heart. ("I am doomed, Aziraphale") Only getting a little speech about being a demon and therefore inherently being doomed ('duhhh!') back.
Crowley eventually just confides in Aziraphale how much he has fucked up having a bit of a monologue about it. Eventually Aziraphale offers to help find the boy, but only if he is allowed to influence him. To which Crowley reluctantly agrees, because it would mean that he still fails his task of raising a boy that Satan could be proud of. But Aziraphale is a little bit manipulative (also Crowley is still drunk while Aziraphale is sober) so they shake on it. Anyway this exchange is one of my favorites in the script .
We finally jump eleven years into the future and get to meet Adam.
He has been adopted by Madam Tracy. And is now running a bed and breakfast in the quaint little town of Tadfield. Instead of an army base this Tadfield has direct access to the sea. Including it's very own pier. Anyhow I said Adam is running the b&b that's because Madam Tracy is a neglectful parent and as much as I enjoy her script version, she is not doing great here. Adam is running errands, making breakfast for his mom and generally keeping things together. His whole introduction is him being a little adult .
He finally gets some child time and we meet 'the Them' except they are not 'the Them'. Brian, Pepper and Wensleydale are a friend group and they try to talk to Adam because Pepper wants to be friends with him ( I think the intention was to make Pepper and Adam as THING but idk) . But Adam wants nothing to do with them and instead just wants his peace and quite. So he gets insulted for not having a father and sulks off.
Anathema has also arrived at the scene. And has a culture shock bc of the lackluster infrastructure out here. She arrives in Tadfield with some difficulties and now has to somehow find a place to stay. And while the town seemed overrun with places renting out rooms it also has a case of outdated world views and nobody is willing to take Anathema in for some reason or the other. She eventually gets pointed into the direction of Madam Tracy. Where she is informed that she can have a room . And Madam Tracy casually dunks on Picasso which I can support.
Anathema then repeatedly runs into Adam and tries to strike up a conversation but he just doesn't want to and runs off. As both of them eventually go home at the end of the day he accuses her of following him, since they both are taking the same path. As he gets told that Anathema also lives at the same address as him now he gets angry and stroms to Madam Tracy, disrupting a seance to scold her for taking on a lodger without his approval. He is angry that Madam Tracy is so reckless taking in people without proper background check.
Following that, Adam interviews Anathema. And they bond .
At night Adam sneaks off to the pier and we learn that he has build a model of Tadfield in an abandoned arcade.
He and Anathema bond a bit more over breakfast. (And honestly I like that version of them more relationship wise. As much as I love Prattchet, he did have a particular style of writing children that also came through in Gomens . It lends itself great to hypotheticals and punchlines, not so much for interpersonal relationships)
Back to Crowley and Aziraphale. Last time Crowley had been hopeful and appreciative of the angel. Well now he is running out of time and he is getting grumpy and down in the dumps and ready to give up. While Aziraphale is still unrelentingly optimistic. Poly makes an other entrance, Crowley puzzles together an ancient Etruscan pott. All riveting stuff.
Shadwell, or what's left of his character makes a short appearance as 'MAD OLD MAN' shouting and standing on a soap box as set dressing for Crowley to buy a newspaper and... Pay for it . (Honestly I would have not expected HIM to pay for anything)
He gets zapped into hell without notice.
(Side note Miss Ashtoreth is mentioned as secretary of Satan himself.)
Satan wants to check up on his son's progress. Crowley is shitting himself and lies, reassuring Satan that the boy is properly evil and all that . Of course Satan wants to see the boy real soon and tells Crowley to tell the boy that he is ready for when the boy wants to see him. And after taking a look at Adam by rearranging the universe itself to show a likeness in the stars (hell is a very surreal space with an office above the pit and direct view of all of the universe) Crowley gets zapped back to earth. (Also Satan calls Crowley 'Crawler' which is the script version of Crowley's name change, probably)
Crowley Is now properly stressed out.
On the other end of London (probably) Aziraphale's Crowley senses tingle and he just starts running (presumably) towards Crowley. This never gets brought up or explained. And is so bizarre I couldn't skip it.
Back in Tadfield Adam and Pepper get a bit of a bonding moment. Talking about action figures, Pepper giving Adam a lecture about not being sexist , getting fish and chips. The topic of Adams lack of a father gets brought up again and he lies. Telling Pepper he had met his father before and his father is some sort of international business man, that meets with presidents and is very busy. Eventually Pepper asks about Anathema and tries to convince Adam to take her (pepper) to the movies.
Back in London one Angel apparently unable to use public transport arrives at the nightclub. We can assume that he had been running the whole way. He gets pointed towards Crowley by multiple staff members, 'Every day' gets another cameo and he accidentally stumbles into the dressing room for the waiting staff, which is very embarrassing for him but not for the women.
When he reaches Crowley's office, the demon doesn't want to talk. He is panicking and packing to go on the run for the rest of eternity. (Which for him just means a suitcase full of sunglasses) . What follows is the infamous dialogue script!Crowley get his reputation from. (I might make myself very unpopular here but I think that reputation is not quite deserved. Yes he is an asshole but also the harsher exchanges only play out when he is stressed/panicked and usually if he goes too far he will try and paddel back. Still worst of the Crowleys without a doubt just not quite as bad as people like to paint him. Also script!Aziraphale isn't half as naive and helpless as people like to paint him either and in this house we let him have his agency! But also more on that later)
The exchange switches tone once Aziraphale lets his unbreakable optimism fallter and gets sad. To which Crowley immediately reacts bc trying to reassure him that they are in fact friends and that he shouldn't be sorry. Pointing out that he (Crowley) now knows what the boy looks like to counteract Aziraphale's pessimistic statement that they could never have found the boy bc they didn't even know what he looks like. They agree to hit one more town in their search for the boy.
In Tadfield Anathema finally gets to talk about her quest to find the SOMETHING with Madam Tracy. And have her witness a fight between Brian and Adam about Adam's father. (Srly Adam gets constantly bullied bc of that.) Anathema steps between the two to protect Adam. They make a deal to tell each other's secrets. First we get Anathema showing Adam stuff about the antichrist and the weapon she plans on killing him with.
Then we get an intermission with Crowley and Aziraphale discussing how they should choose which town to go to. They decide with a dart throw.
Back with Adam and Anathema. Adam shows Anathema his model of Tadfield. To the question what he plans on doing once that model is done, he tells her, he is going to build the rest of the world and rule over it. He also voices his desire to go somewhere else so he is no longer stuck in Tadfield.
Aziraphale and Crowley arrive in Tadfield during a Thunderstorm and face the same problem as Anathema. No one wants to rent them a room in town. And while with Anathema the whole thing was rooted in sexism, disdain for outsiders (aka read as Americans) and misunderstandings about her occupation, for those two it's the obligatory 'People think they are a gay couple' thing but with a giant side of Homophobia.
Crowley want to give up, Aziraphale want to go on and eventually they end up at Madam Tracy's.
Madam Tracy mistakes them for the gas person, Crowley wants separate rooms, Aziraphale a shared one,(we never get to know which they now took bc the script has both, scenes with a shared room and with a separate rooms. It could also be that Crowley simply stays longer than Aziraphale and therefore the shared room becomes his single room. At any rate it is never specified. And to be honest there are multiple parts of the script where the author very obviously had given up on it , soooo) Crowley praises Aziraphale's skill as homemaker, Madam Tracy tells them, they have to wait for Adam. Adam comes home Crowley recognizes the boy.
Crowley and Aziraphale take a stroll on the beach and come to the agreement that each should spend a day with the boy, despite Crowley trying to avoid having Aziraphale influence the kid. They also witness how Brian's father is getting things set up and ready to tear down the pier.
In the evening they play an other game of checkers. Adam witnessing first hand Crowley's cheating as he gets the both of them to have dinner with the whole house.
At the dinner table they convince Madame Tracey to let them take Adam to London for a day. Adam being obviously overjoyed about the whole thing.
Anathema sees Aziraphale's and Crowley's true nature for a sec. And I am sorry if this part comes across as rather dry, it's also rather dry in the script.
Adam gets taken to London. First Aziraphale get to show him the museum and talk about human creations . (Side note , when I first got my hands on the script I thought I was missing a page bc the dialogue has a really awkward jump in this scene but no ... It's supposed to be like that and either it was the author giving up or it was supposed to be a kid thing. Jumping from one topic to the next with not much logic. We will never know)
Adam then confronts Aziraphale about Crowley's cheating. And here comes the part why I will never see script!Aziraphale as truly naive or helpless. Aziraphale admits to Adam that he had always known Crowley cheated, he just thought it virtuous to not point it out. Bc he played fair and in his mind that was enough to stand above the other and win in a sense and just let him do the cheating. Adam points out how it's stupid, and that was that. Aziraphale is stunned and does what most people with too much money and no idea how to handle kids do, exactly drag him somewhere, where he can buy shit.
Next up is Crowley. First he drags Adam to Soho. Not Good Omens there might be a cozy bookshop somewhere Soho but well 90s it's a bit of a cess pool Soho. With hookers and homeless teenage girls ( and for all those people that take Crowley being displeased with Adam for giving the girl some change as point to call him fundamentally mean/bad... I implore you learn what character motivations are. He has been tasked with raising an evil child, has promised an evil child, obviously he is displeased when that child is doing something selfless. And he wouldn't do something selfless in the presence of said child either bc again he is supposed to influence him towards evil) Crowley then gets him a milkshake and takes him to his club where they have the mirror conversation to Aziraphale's. Ending with Adam pointing out that it is pretty boring to always win for the wins sake by the means of cheating.
On the way back they have a short (also very old couple and married) conversation about their respective experiences with the boy. Accidentally letting it slip that they know who Adam's father is, believing the boy to be asleep. He is not.
That night Anathema finally succeeds in her endeavor of finding the antichrist. Her crystal ball revealing to her that it is indeed Adam. She is so shocked by that, that she lets the ball fall but luckily for her Aziraphale does his thing and it lands safely without breaking. (That another quirk of the script apparently Anathema and Aziraphale were supposed to be something and what ever that is, it's even weirder than Adam and Pepper)
Madam Tracy also finally recognized Crowley from THAT night and they have a honest heart to heart. Or whatever you call it when the otherwise always woozy character suddenly seem lucid and aware of what will happen.
That night Adam goes to Anathema for emotional support bc of the father thing. Anathema however is in the middle of a crisis bc she now knows what Adam is and had tried to get herself ready to murder him but struggles with herself to do it. Eventually Adam notices the knife behind her back and with the first flair of his antichrist powers forces her to show it to him before storming off hurt.
Being emotionally distraught he runs to his hideout on the pier and calls out to his feather. First nothing happens but then after Adam went off the pier and back again it is completely transformed into a bright happy carnival. His Father has arrived. Satan immediately takes Adam under his wings . He even dresses him up as a mini self.
The next morning the whole town of Tadfield is one giant carnival. There is a parade with elephants. And the people from around town are all mindlessly attending the celebration.
Crowley has a short meeting with Satan (on an elephant can't stress that enough) and gets told that he is supposed to come to Satan to talk about his promotion to alpha centauri. AND
Tumblr media
( Don't ask me why I find this too funny to not share, my humor is very broken )
The town is being further transformed and more people are made mindless puppets. But now Crowley is happy to have gotten away with his stunt. He is roleplaying flirting with someone in a mirror. (Also in the script notes it literally says James Bond for acting directions for Crowley, and that's such a dorky idea I love the theory of it ... Bit of a waste in this tho).
Aziraphale tries to change his mind but Crowley shuts him down by pointing out that he was the one saying happiness alone is making things a good deed so it shouldn't matter if people have to be made into mindless puppets first. They are happy after all.
Meanwhile Adam is torturing Brian by throwing tomatoes hat him and having the rest of the town join in with the fun. He just wants his father to be proud of him (nawww ) (that naw was sarcastic). In the crowd Anathema is fighting to regain control over herself.
Aziraphale still tries to convince Crowley. Tugging at his heart strings but even the tried and true "I thought we are friends" won't work this time. Crowley wants to seize his opportunity, he wants out and up.
While those two are arguing, Anathema struggles. All she wants it the knife but she is exhausted.
Crowley is looking for a starting point for his launch towards alpha centauri. He is climbing onto a church tower. Behind him Aziraphale still hasn't given up. Despite not liking heights (!? Wasn't mentioned before will not be mentioned again but apparently script!Aziraphale has a fear of heights). He finally gets an idea and challenges Crowley to one last match.
Crowley for once doesn't cheat and it looks like he is about to win but then Aziraphale DOES cheat, desperate to keep Crowley on earth and have him fight at his side. And Crowley just shrugs and accepts. His next line after acknowledging the win already calls Satan his ex-boss and if that is not a very impressive 180° turn then I don't know what is. (Just a throw back to character motivation, we could speculate it's because most of what Crowley has said were lies and half truths and deep down he actually likes earth and bla or he just remembered how much he would miss his nightclub BUT I as number one script!Crowley (not really) defender say ... It's just unfinished/bad writing and there simply wasn't enough time or inspiration or whatever to finish his character ark)
Anathema manages to give both of them the knife. Crowley is so idiotic and tries to grab it but it burns him . I mean, duhh! Anathema literally tells them that this knife can hurt the antichrist why should it be harmless for a way lesser demon? So Aziraphale takes the knife.
After calling Crowley his best friend, Crowley himself calling himself stupid, Aziraphale, presumably (presumably is important here) with the knife, goes off to confront Adam. He tried to talk Adam out of it. Trying to point out that no good father leaves his kid alone for eleven years and if this is really what Adam wants. As he points out that Madam Tracy despite all her flaws still love Adam he gets discorporated, by Adam. But bc this is a Movie script and we don't have much time left he just stays in his true angel form (which is very much just white robes , wings and halo ) right where he is, further trying to talk Adam out of it .
(here is an other line in my mounting pile of evidence that script! Aziraphale is neither naive nor helpless and simply chooses to carry himself that way bc he thinks it's virtuous. He literally acknowledges that people can do bad things. Something he would not do at any point before that in the script. I rest my case )
While Aziraphale is trying to make Adam think about things, Crowley is off confronting Satan, presumably without the knife.
Satan acknowledges that Crowley had lied to him but is still in such a good mood that he still wants to give out the promotion. Even throws in the titel of fiend extraordinar. For a moment it seems like Crowley considers but ultimately he tells Satan that he wants to quit. Satan is not happy about that and after Crowley also pulls out a pink rubber glove and the knife (yhea Crowley had the knife all along , take that continuity or rather scree logic, like not showing how they get a rubber glove is fine, what ever but having the last scene with the knife be the one where it's shown that he can't touch it and Aziraphale had to carry it would have made it feel a bit too deus ex machina.) Satan forces him into half snake form and summens hands that try and drag him back to hell.
Thanks to his already established Crowley senses (probably ) Aziraphale suddenly shows up and charges at Satan. Who in turn is like 'An angel, really? You betrayed me,..' and then roasts Aziraphale to a crisp before destroying the knife .
Adam confronted with a robotic acting madam Tracy, listening to his every command, starts to reflect on his actions. Getting called in by his father to greed the four horsepersons he notices Aziraphale and Crowley.
Adam now faced with all the destruction says: no, I am not doing it. Stan tries to threaten him into obeying but he gets the good old 'You not my dad'. For being a deadbeat for 11 years. Adam then heals Aziraphale and frees Crowley. Now flanked by the two Adam banishes the horseman.
Satan demanding obedience once more, gets reminded by Crowley that he himself once rebelled. And after laughing about that revelation he tells Adam that it was interesting meeting him but as it seemed he wasn't cut out to be a dad. To Crowley he says that he is now banned from hell and to Aziraphale that he should tell his boss, that at least his son (the antichrist) had more guts than his(Jesus and yes the script sadly uses he/him for God).
After Satan vanishes they have to escape a collapsing pier. Noticing too late that Madam Tracy is also still there. Adam ends up releasing her from her trance by calling her mom and telling her that he loves her. Aziraphale ends up saving both of them, flying them to safety on the beach.
At the beach they also meet Anathema, who promises not to kill him, and Pepper . They watch as the pier explodes and burns to the ground. Anathema also has uncomfortable eye contact with Aziraphale while he ripples back into human form . (Don't ask me why it feels uncomfortable, Anathema is described as looking tens while he still full angel and softening once he is human again, so idk)
Apropos Anathema and Aziraphale. The next Morning, he comes to say goodbye and ends up offering a job bc (I forgot to mention it when it happened) Polly, his assistant had a promotion. So he is in search for a new assistant. She end up kissing him on the cheek and calling him angel but in a way where it's ambiguous if she now knows that he is one or if she just thinks he is a good person and something always makes her forget what he really is. At any rate Aziraphale says he had never gotten a kiss on the cheek in six thousand years and knowing a bit about history and cultural practices I am inclined to calling him a liar. But then again this is fiction .... So sure ... Cheek kiss virgin this one.
While that is happening Madam Tracy is asking Crowley if she can keep the boy now . And Crowley reassures her, that after this, no one is going to come for him. He even offers to throw a birthday party for her at his club, all she should do is to just to look after the boy. It's actually a very sweet exchange.
Outside Brian and Adam have a little exchange, Brain trying once more to get to Adam with the father thing. But Adam has no daddy issues anymore. Instead he asks Pepper out to the movies and Brian just tags along without being asked. Where is Wensleydale you asking ? Take your best guess, he was mentioned once said one thing and then fell off the earth. He probably exploded with the pier and nobody even remembers.
With the kids now finally as a group we have the last shot of Aziraphale and Crowley. They are walking along the street , Crowley one stolen apple in hand . Having their talk about good and evil. Accusing each other of being a little bit of a good person (press x to boubt) and just enough of a bastard (oh absolutely). How they both knew the other was cheating all along. And maybe alpha centauri isn't such a good idea after all. You can't even get booze there. The last thing that is said is Aziraphale telling Crowley to 'not start THAT again', after being offered the apple.
Tumblr media
I lied one more screenshot bc Every ...it had been for told by the cursed script for ages now. (I am pretty sure it had been in the talks to put go to Every day' even before the script was ordered so that is just a joke)
At any rate I do have to go to work in ....eh three hours ... So I will leave it at the summary for now. I am dyslexic and English mu second language so I am very sorry for all the mistakes I probably made . If someone reblogs this before I get the chance to correct them, let it be said that at least nobody can claim this is ai pfff.
Also not I said the name of the author the two times I mentioned him simply bc I don't feel like acknowledging the name of the person. I got into Gomens bc of Sir Terry and I stay here for him. This little obsession with the shit script happened by pure chance and purely against my will pfff

Thoughts About Gay Puppets
Spoilers for the Welcome Home 12 April 2025 update
Julie
Main character Julie time! Yes! YES! The rainbow monster is out!
Okay, I don’t think Julie is trying to oust Wally from his spot. I think the rest of the update makes that clear. The hidden links shined a light on Julie’s character a lot, not just with her relationship with the others including her family, but her memories of arriving at Home and how they may be fabricated [most likely by the script], and the fact that she apparently knows how to swear. I don’t think her shift in persona means that her “joyful” act is an outright act, but it’s undeniable that a persona is present. She wants to be joyful all the time and therefore forces herself to be, even when she’s worried about the effect she has on others or how people see her (JULIE: (Voice changes.) Was he mad? I don’t think he was…). The description for “The Julie Guide to Being Joyful” also seems to point this out, highlighting that Julie finds joy in her relationships to others rather than anything she does on her own.
It's interesting that she doesn’t think the early spring was her fault (JULIE: (She sounds very sad.) Was that not enough? Do you want to get me into trouble? Why are you doing this to me? Was it because of the early spring? Are you mad at me for that? I don’t know why that happened. It’s not my fault!). I mean, I agree with her! She was woken up early…by the Storyteller. Who seemed to be Sally. And if she were to get in trouble because she didn’t bloom a flower, who would she get in trouble with? Her siblings? Home? The showrunners?
There’s a lot of good interpretation on what the black flower is. The best I’ve seen are that it’s either a black tulip which wouldn’t be blossoming in spring anyway, or something more metaphorical about something is not working in Julie’s relationships either with Frank specifically or just with the rest of Home. However, I would like to raise another possibility as to why it wouldn’t bloom: that flower isn’t real. It looks like was 3D printed, or at the very least made with felt and black floral wire. As someone who used to work at a Joann [RIP], if Clown wanted a more realistic-looking black flower, they could have found one easily. But it sure would look real to a puppet, now wouldn’t it.
The black flower also clearly has something inside of it, but I can’t quite tell what. It kind of looks like the Marlo logo and the same sigil we see on the sun, so probably nothing good. Maybe it has something to do with that dog?
The fact that Julie knows swears is also fascinating??? I was never interested in “they’re all dead people put in the show” theories but it’s clear that something’s going on outside the confines of the show. Never in a million years would somebody swear on Sesame Street, you know? She had to learn that somewhere else.
Julie’s family
Tbh I’m not quite sure how to feel about Julie’s family just yet. While they do seem somewhat dismissive (blaming her for the early spring) and controlling of her (pressuring her to rejoin the band), Julie is still willing to go and visit them to undo the early spring and even rushes to the phone to go and call them for “A Darling Broadcast.” I honestly kind of interpret “Nature’s Remedy” as their attempts to give her a pep talk (No confusion, loss, or worry/This willow tree won’t bend), but I can also see the interpretation that it’s them pressuring her to keep up the façade (Just please remember to be/Like the entire joyful family would!) That said, they don’t need to be actively abusive in order to have an imposing effect on Julie. Especially because Julie seems to be the only Rainbow Monster who set off to live on her own, she may fear her inability to grow the flowers as proof that they were right and she should give up her dreams and join the band. It doesn’t help that they want her to play the drums (JONESY: Yeah, sis- What’s a rainbow monster band without its dynamite drummer?) when every other depiction of her emphasizes her singing ability—something you can’t really do while playing the drums well.
Wally
You know, I was on the fence about Wally for a long time. I didn’t think he was the active villain of the story, but I also didn’t think he was entirely innocent, either. And while that’s probably still true, this update skyrocketed how much I like that little peanut. I can’t wait to see what he’s up to next.
I think the “ringring” secret link sheds a lot of light on Wally’s intentions thus far. He’s smart enough to edit the website and create the other secret links, but he doesn’t seem to realize that it’s a website he’s editing. It took him a moment to find the new website and does not seem to realize we had another update between then (It has been a long while…It was Homewarming. Now it is not. The snow melts. The grass grows. The sun shines. The flowers bloom.) He does not understand that we cannot talk to him through the computer the same way we could “talk” to him on the show—and tbh I don’t know how I would explain that to him either, even if he knows the truth about what Welcome Home is. He seems to at least be aware that he is in a website (I know we are not in the same room. It is another silly bunch of words [Note: this dialogue is on a blank page with only the audio, a transcript, and an impossibly dark image of a chair. There are only words.]) and maybe used the Away From Prying Eyes code to get back to the websites (I know what words are. I saw words. I followed them. I followed them!)? He even made a whole code just to try and communicate with us when he realized we couldn’t talk back!!! It’s so good!!!
That said, it’s kind of clear that Wally is just as in the dark about what’s going on as we are. He doesn’t know what else to do other than to keep reaching out (I do not know what to do… But keep talking to you… You are waiting for me. You want to know why I keep…Talking…) and he seems to think some sort of trouble is on the horizon but doesn’t know what (Are we in trouble. Trouble… Trouble… But I have to continue… So that you… So that we… So that I can… …I do not know what to call what we are doing, neighbor. But everything has a name, doesn’t it.) Unfortunately, I think we’re just going to have to wait for the next update (…I can not do much as I am now. But, I will practice.)
I’m also not 100% sure if we should be letting Wally practice tbh? Like his last attempts landed QA in the hospital and trapped W in their house for like half a year. Like I want to hear him out, but I think things are going to get worse before they get better.
This probably isn’t important, but I love how, despite his flat tone for everything else, Wally uses the same inflection for his friends’ names each time. It’s just so cool and incredibly autism of him. That said, I wonder if it’s just a vocal stim or if maybe he coached himself (or…someone else did) on how to say his friends’ names right.
Some more questions I don’t think we can answer with the info we have now, although I’ll appreciate any bets:
Where Wally was without the website (You are here now, but for a long while, you were not. And I… Could not feel anything… I could not find this place. The channel was dark. I do not know what happened.)
Why Wally needs us to know what happened to Julie to the point of leaving behind the secret link
What the hell this means (A rose without thorns… But still has leaves… Is filled with fear… And with hope. When both are not there, however… There may be neither hope nor fear.)
The webpages themselves
W my sibling in Home what was in that fucking drimk
The Welcome Home Restoration Project has to know by now that Wally has a hand in editing the website. If W didn’t tip them off, then “Reverse this image of Sally” must have. If WHRP is the one editing Wally out of the site, I think this is why. But there’s also the possibility that Wally is just so fed up with us not answering his calls that he’s trying to keep distance from us.
The inclusion of the holiday album on the main page also tells me that W is starting to share more with the WHRP since that was only available AFPE. If so, why now? And why not the full collection of ads? Why did “Wally’s Toyland” make it in? Why is it…somewhat better than the one Wally left for us W on the broken phone? [also can we talk about how Wally supposedly created Homewarming but time and again doesn’t seem to like it and has no idea how it’s celebrated, that seems really important to me]
Who’s Next
Look I firmly believe that Frank is a real life human being who is somehow stuck in this puppet show, either willingly or not. I’ve had this belief since the first update. But it’s weird that he’s always at the center of someone experiencing The Horrors. I think our other big hint is “Bug-a-Bye and Goodnight”, a song that only features Frank in an otherwise Julie-focused update where Frank seems hyper-aware that soon he might be the only one in the neighborhood (Where all that’s left is… Me.) The fact that the preview image shows Frank sitting in Julie’s room (same mirror as in “Springtime Salutations”) alone is also…very concerning! If people are right about his house being featured in the background of the main page being a sign that his turn is next, I think we’re about to hit a milestone.
Howdy also got a lot of weird focus this update? Not only does he get his own song, but he’s also shown to be at odds with other members of the Neighborhood/Neighborhood-adjacent during “Sweet Briar” and “A Darling Broadcast” [although I love his tag-team with Barnaby. Barnaby is also on my sus radar as an instigator but I kind of love him.] There’s also the fact that “Bug-a-Bye and Goodnight” specifically mentions metamorphosis (I can see you safe into your chrysalis) which Howdy specifically hasn’t done, and the shop is now advertising 90% off on the “Neighborhood” page which does not sound like something the salesman would do to me. How do you even do 90% off when you trade in giggles? I always thought of him as off the chopping block since he does the merch sale ads so he has stay alive, but now that we’ve seen Eddie and Poppy are alive after their Horrors, I’m not too sure.

I’d never seen these clips before and oh my god?? Re: “Lando fumbling next year bc he is gracious to Oscar in a way that's not reciprocated”:
I feel like these clips are a good example? I don’t think Oscar would gaf even if Lando moped a bit & snubbed him on the podium. Obviously he would care if it affected the team dynamic but overall Oscar’s pretty understanding of drivers’ emotional responses & gets Lando (“He [Lando] reminds himself more than I do [that I got a sprint win first]”).  So for Lando to put all his energy into being mature + clapping for Oscar, etc. when he’s so frustrated is very telling. Also lol @ Oscar hardly acknowledging Landos angst that weekend— even in the presser Oscar was making jokes w Lando. Like Oscar I think hes a bit busy trying not to die rn
Obviously Lando def does this stuff for his own conscience more than Oscar specifically but it’s so weird that after Hungary, when ppl  were already sympathetic to Lando — Lando STILL went out of his way to do a whole interview where he publicly says he’s sorry to Oscar and says he feels bad for tainting his first win and he was embarrassed by how he acted. Like girl?Just move on?? No need to berate yourself publicly. He also mentions directly talking to Oscar about this and discussing all of this👀 (I will rpf this part bc that’s cute tbh🥺 saying sorry to his little bf). Anyway—Lando fascinates me.
dude gna be such a 81 BACKER rn (814 fan wars mean nothing to me why can I not Observe them Both and Make Conclusions and Like them both and also Not Like them Both Sometimes) but... I don't rly get those edits lmfao like lando still Clearly never sprayed Oscar. hes spraying/smiling at the Mcl mechanic (?) and he still had a pretty shit attitude overall on that podium,,.... which he addresses himself yk later in the maxf DTS clip (Nobody Celebrated, I felt Bad, Oscar was underwhelmed etc. like he addresses there that he didn't handle it well and also recognizes how that impacted Oscar at the time)(Yes sorry I am Validating the existence of dts clips... argue w the wall irdgaf)
Honestly I think the reality of the clip adds to your statement that lando's self-serving with a Lot of his kindness to Oscar. or just that... in the heat of the moment his own emotions overshadow anyone elses. Like... im Really Strongly of the opinion that that Hungary podium was a real stinker for lando's public image. same as him saying he lost respect for Max, same as majority of those interviews last year.,.but that can be compelling too yk and it's not like indicative of him being an awful selfish person - he's just complicated, as is everyone.
Oscar I think serves lando in a very interesting way which is helping to remind him to maintain status quo. in the exact same way Maxf will frequently tell lando to chill out on stream when he's talking out of line or,,, remind him to Be Normal and Not beat himself up, like Oscar does that. Script reading and Immediate quiet banter that makes lando Not Get all weird and Make it Bigger thing than it has to be. like. a subtle little Nudge of Heyyyyy Yeah that was awful but don't talk to the press about it. talk to me about it later in private. Idk landoscar lens a Little. Landoscar lens a Lot? I think Oscar does that bc beyond racing he does find quiet satisfaction in Being that close private friend of landos. hes waited his turn for silent stares across the room Let Him have this LOL.
they're compelling AHH! landos already kind of surprised me w his interviews in aus. so ill definitely have more to chew on and think about and add to this all as the ssn goes on!

Guess what I got! The recording scripts for all of the episodes of Spongebob season 13!! Gang gang
Tumblr media
I got it from some guy from YouTube. He said this was leaked on internet archive and Nick tried to scrub it clean off the interwebz. He managed to salvage some and he gave me a link. His account was gone before I had an opportunity to say thank you, so now I have it. I'm sharing it here because idgaf if my account gets taken down lol. But also no one checks tumblr anyways.
I made sure to print out the Slappy Daze recording script because idgaf about the other episodes tbh. I only care about my beloved Peter Lorre fish's day in the limelight <3 I put it in this plastic slip and keep it in a nice binder. It's my most prized possession besides Slappy's character sheet. I also have the Squidferatu script as well.
To be honest a lot of these scripts are pretty similar to the final product of the episode. There are some minor differences like Slappy wasn't originally in the script for There Will Be Grease. Instead it was supposed to be some nerdy fish asking if everything juice will make him sound more manly. Bless whoever snuck Slappy in there because you all remember me tweaking for a week when the episode came out because I was so happy Slappy got a part in the song lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also the episode Upturn Girls was originally titled City Cetaceans.
Tumblr media
Slappy Daze is pretty near identical to the final product tbh. Nothing really changed besides a few words. I am fascinated by the fact that the first draft is dated as being July 30th 2021. By that point I already fully and completely developed Slappy brain worms and was already considering watching Lorre's movies to get my fix cuz the airings of the Patrick show were frustrating. Ahh the good ol days <3
Tumblr media
I also do believe Slippy (Slappy's female counterpart) was made for Slappy Daze originally though. The episode gives a physical description of Slippy which makes me think she just made for the moment. I think she was added to Mid-Season Finale in The Patrick Star Show episode afterwards but Mid-Season Finale aired first. Nickelodeon actually did mess up with this episode and released it on DVD before it officially aired. Now the pieces are coming together. This is only interesting to me lol.
Tumblr media
Spongebob fans are such h8rs fr. Where else would you find THE original dreamy haired emo boy Cesare the Somnanbulist working as an assistant for the primary care physician fish Dr. Caligari? I would LOVE for Cesare to rid me of my allergies😤😤
Tumblr media
Squidferatu actually has the most differences between the script and the final product. Plus plenty of interesting details. Squidferatu actually has two scripts, part one and part two.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first and most important detail to me is the fact that Slappy is still named "Laszlo". You've seen Slappy's character sheet where it mentions he was formerly named "Laszlo" (obviously a reference to Peter Lorre's birth name Laszlo Löwenstein).
Tumblr media
But in the Squidferatu scripts you can actually find the EXACT moment where his name changes from Laszlo to Slappy. It all has to do with one specific gag.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These both are the same scene. The left side is from Squidferatu part 1 and the right is Squidferatu part 2.
I do think they absolutely fumbled the name Laszlo. There are enough cartoon characters named Slappy. Laszlo is much much cuter and brings the Lorre reference full circle but oh well.
I also keep forgetting to mention but the villager in Squidferatu who begs Spongebob and Squidward not to go to the castle was intended to be the same villager in the 1931 Dracula who warns Renfield, who actually was based on a villager from the 1922 Nosferatu who warns Thomas Hutter. This character respawned in 3 different pieces of media. I think he's the true star of this episode lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is also the fact that carriage driver in Squidferatu is confirmed to be Nosferatu! I feel like this fact is obvious enough if you're familiar with Dracula media (1922 Nosferatu, 1931 Dracula, or even just reading the book) the count is always the carriage driver duh
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also the fact that in this episode he hisses like a vampire, is strangely humanoid, and briefly has the Nosferatu™ eyebrows which fully gives it away. Unfortunately the folks on the SB wiki do not agree >:((
The first time I saw the carriage driver I said "ohh he kinda bad" and you know what? I'm not retracting my statement. He IS a baddie. I'm tired of lying to myself otherwise.
Anyways this caused me to come up with a headcanon that Nosferatu is broke and likely does not pay Slappy. I mean that explains why Nos has taken on shifts at the Krusty Krab, but also explains why Slappy is working 2 jobs in The Patrick Star Show. I imagine property taxes on a castle really drains a vampire's family fortune. I'm getting off topic.
There are some extra gags that didn't make it into the episode.
Tumblr media
There's also the fact that we've been robbed of Erik from the Phantom of The Opera giving the audience a cute wink uwu

Welp, thoughts inbound.
Cultists bowing to Subaru is curious since my baseline assumption here is they do detect the miasma off Subaru, but how does that work if they CAN though?
Geuse can detect miasma on Subaru, but he is a Spirit + has an Authority so he’s not a really good reference for normal Cultist miasma detection.
Briefly thinking if the Gospel told them about Subaru, but no, that itself doesn’t seem to line up either with how Geuse was interrogating Subaru on being Pride so the Gospel isn’t really talking about Subaru.
Alright, so what has been proven to detect Miasma so far? Spirits - Artificial Spirits aswell which could itself be an interesting subcategory on implications for Miasma Detection - Oni, Reinhard & normal Cultists.
Beatrice, Geuse & Rem all denote Subaru’s Miasma as being a “stench” so, they seem to have it as a sort of smell. Reinhard is Weird (or sus as hell if you follow my tag on this man lmao) but given his peculiar inherent interaction with Mana… is Reinhard’s version of Miasma Detection perhaps simply locating excessive amounts of Corrupted Mana which is what Miasma is at the end of the day?
Laying out all of these, I cannot exactly see how normal Cultists could detect with such weirdly selective requirements clearly in place for Miasma Detection even if I had 0 fucking clue what they are beyond potentially a connection to a Witch itself in some fashion like Beatrice has. If that’s the case the implication for Reinhard is craaaazyyyyy.
I… suppose perhaps the normal Cultists can detect Corrupted Mana & base off that? This answer doesn’t fully satisfy me tbh though, so it’s sort of a placeholder.
I guess maybe it’s something about induction into the Cult itself that might make one attuned to Miasma? I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cult teaches Cultists so they could identify each other based on Miasma during their undercover missions.
You know… actually. My theory of Cultists being taught certain things by the Cult here COULD actually apply to the Sin Archbishop introductions aswell. They all are rather performative & follow the same script (which is a big red flag considering how I’ve associated theatre with Fate in this narrative let alone the Star Names the Archbishops have) as they introduce themselves by their Title, their respective Sin, and then their Star name followed by their family name.
Would really like to look at the Cult’s organizational shit in the future. This is very fascinating without me having even gone that deeply into The Gospel here or whatever the fuck Pandora’s exact role (since she’s clearly a leader of some capacity) is in the Cult.

I understand why the Logan Paul suicide forest video got nuked but tbh I think it should stay on youtube, with the victim fully censored obviously. But I think it's a fascinating video that should be preserved, because you can watch the brain cells in Logan's head just scatter like a swam of bats.
He'd been releasing a vlog every single day for what, a year? This is a man who is so fried, so content-pilled, that he cannot comprehend what he is looking at. It makes no sense to him. He's obviously genuinely upset but he has no idea how to express it in a vlog-acceptable way. He simply has no script for it. This wasn't supposed to happen. At one point he takes off his stupid Toy Story hat and comments on how he's wearing an inappropriate hat for the situation.
For a few minutes, you can see into this man's soul, and you can see what he's done to himself. Completely removed from reality, being violently dragged back into it with the confrontation of death, and then quickly trying to crawl back into his bubble as soon as possible.
He signs some autographs in the parking lot and uploads the video.
That vid has actual anthropological value to me. It's like a record of what happens when influencer-brain reaches critical mass. It's a masterpiece, it's a commentary, it's the new American Gothic. And he made it by accident because he's a fucking idiot.
