summary - GRWM with Rafe

Your alarms goes off at 7:00am as you have a photo shoot at 9 and you thought you’d document your day today cause I’d be good for views and subscribers. By the seaside starts playing and Rafe groans

“Ugh turn it off” he says in that morning voice of his. Makes me wanna do things to him.

“Alright alright hold on” you wiggle out of his grasp to turn the alarm of and look back at him.

“Good morning baby”

“Good morning” he says rubbing his eyes. He slowly starts to wake himself up since he’s dropping you off then heading to the country club with topper and kelce. “Im gonna head to the shower I need to start getting ready right now” you start to get up out of bed and head towards the bathroom after grabbing your towel.

“Wait without me?” He says with the smallest frown ever. “Yes Rafe we both know we’ll get nothing done in the shower if we both go” You say giggling and heading into the shower

You finish your shower and get out with your towel on and hair up in a towel and by the time you came out Rafe’s up ready to shower. You grab your camera getting ready to film.

“Oh hell no” Rafe says grabbing the camera “put some clothes on then start the video”

“Omg” you say laughing “don’t worry Rafe I will now give me my camera” you say smiling. “No put some clothes on then I will” he says seriously but calmly. “Alright alright” you get your clothes on which was an off shoulder navy blue top and some black pants and come back out.

“there’s my pretty girl” he says pressing a kiss to your shoulder and handing you the camera. “Thank you very much” you say blushing.

You set up your camera on your vanity and film the intro and start the GRWM and while you start dabbing out the setting powder Rafe comes into frame. Your fans already know Rafe very very well so your guys whole relationship is nothing new to them.

He comes up behind you and hugs you "heyyy guys" he says to the camera. "For anyone who's new this is my beautiful caring boyfriend Rafe Cameron." You say as Rafe points to the powder puff in your hand asking what it is and does. "You press your setting powder in with this." You tell him explaining how to use it and what it does. "Here try it." You offer him the powder puff. "Get up let me sit and you can sit on my lap." You give the camera a seriously look before smiling. You get up and move so he's sitting down now and your on his lap. He starts dabbing the powder puff on your face with his tongue sticking out slightly in concentration and his bangs getting into his eyes just a bit. You push his bangs back with your finger and he smiles.

"Done!" You look away from him and look at your mirror too see he did a pretty good job. "Guys if anyone needs a makeup stylist call Rafe." You say jokingly. "No the only person I'll ever do this girly shit for is you and our future kids." He says playing around but to be honest 100% telling the truth. You just completely ignore the your future kids part and move onto the next topic.

You finish your GRWM with you and Rafe playing around a lot but somehow managing to get everything done on time. You say your outro with Rafe shouting "She's mine!" right before you end it.

Ah yes! I am finally ready!

Cas's Review of TTPD that Two (2) People Asked For (so now you all get a fucking essay)

Literally, this is growing to be one of my favorite albums. Like...I appreciate Taylor most for her lyrics and I wrote down seven pages of them in my notebook of lyrics that fucking killed me. I feel like it's a more mature version of folklore, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

I really liked the promo for this album- the lyrics being spread, the phases of grief, the entire thing was so well-done. And the double album drop left me literally screaming.

I feel like the order of the songs on the album is also super well thought out. It really tells a story and I could feel her going through the phases, especially in the first half of the album.

I thought it was cool that she definitely took some risks in the album, but most of them landed 1000%. So many of the cool things done with the lyrics, melody, and tempo were amazing and kept me interested.

I'm gonna start by listing the more specific things I didn't like because there's only three:

In the song "Fresh Out The Slammer" during the outro, the change in beat was very jarring. I LOVED the rest of the song and it just ruined it for me

Florida!!! was...a choice. I get it. The concept of going away somewhere after a breakup to get over it is great. But Florida? Like...c'mon. Also "fuck me up Florida" made me cringe.

The line in "I Hate It Here" about racists...god, I have two minds about it. I don't think there was winning with that one, and I think people are going to tear her apart for it without taking it in context. Like when you take it in the bigger picture of the song, it makes sense. But when you take it in just the few lines...it feels a bit like it's trivializing the fact that literal slavery existed during that time? So yeah. I go back and forth...

And now a song ranking and my feelings about some of the songs:

Guilty As Sin? - This song has been in my head ever since I heard it. It's perfect, it's everything.

I Can Do It With a Broken Heart - This is giving DBATC (favorite taylor song) vibes and I am so in love. It destroyed me.

Who's Afraid of Little Old Me? - This is an ANTHEM. This will be screamed in the shower. This is so powerful.

But Daddy I Love Him - This was just so nostalgic. Like it gave Fearless Taylor and I loved it so much. Also the jumpscare fucking SHOOK me.

So Long, London - This was like a companion to You're Losing Me and god, it was amazingly hurtful.

loml - I just love slow, sad Taylor. and the twist at the end? ugh

I Hate It Here - Questionable line aside, this song was 15/10 relatable as a fanfic reader/writer

The smell of chocolate and sugar wafted through your apartment as you stretched your legs on the couch. As the episode of the TV show came to a close, you knew the batch would be done soon too.

Despite the colours flashing across the screen, most of your attention was directed at the man currently lying with his head in your lap. There was a pleased hum coming from him as you gently scraped your nails across Sigma’s scalp, playing with the soft dual-coloured locks.

“Do you even keep up with what’s going on?” You teasingly prodded as your thumbs traced along his eyebrows, over his temple and down to his cheekbones, past his closed eyes. “I’m not restarting the episode, so it’s your loss if you have no clue what’s going on next time.”

“‘s okay,” he mumbled before emphasising your point with a yawn. Patting around for your hand, he dropped it onto his hair again, quietly urging you to continue running your hands through it.

“My poor angel,” you cooed softly but genuinely, “must be exhausting being the best casino manager there is.”

“Am not.”

“So are.”

Sigma rejected the notion with a click of his tongue and you pretended not to notice the smile tugging at his lips or the way he leaned further into your touch. Just as you pushed his bangs from his forehead and placed a sweet kiss there, the beeping of your oven sounded through the room.

Your efforts to get up earned you a groan from your boyfriend. “Come on baby, they’re gonna burn if I don’t get up now.”

“Just stay for a minute longer.”

“No because, one, we’ll burn the house down, and two, if I burn this batch, I won’t be able to cuddle with you because I’ll have to start over.”

“You drive a hard bargain,” Sigma huffed but reluctantly lifted himself off your lap.

As you checked the cookies and pulled them out of the oven, you heard the outro of the show play in the background. Cleaning the baking equipment, you left the treats to cool off a little before lifting them off the tray.

Humming along with your mind somewhere else, you squeaked as two arms wrapped around your waist from behind and a familiar weight draped itself over you.

“My, you’re clingy today,” you chuckled. “Not that I mind, not at all; in fact, I quite like it. But what’s bringing this on?”

“Nothing important really…” Sigma trailed off.

Putting your hands over his arms crossing in front of you, you caressed them, tracing random shapes there in hopes of comforting him.

“You can tell me, you know that right? I never want you to feel like you can’t confide in me, angel,” you whispered.

“It’s just— Ugh, it’s so stupid,” he sighed, burying his head in the crook of your neck. His breath fanned over your skin and you felt the touch of his plush lips as he searched for words. “I’ve been thinking recently… about my home.”

“The casino?” you encouraged him.

“That’s just it. I love the casino, I really do, but lately it doesn’t feel like ‘home’ anymore.” This time you patiently waited for him to continue on his own. You knew he wanted to tell you but was fighting with himself over what your reaction would be. “I thought the Sky Casino was all I needed but it’s been different since I met you.

“I think… you are my new home…”

As soon as the words left his mouth, you felt him stiffen behind you, slowly unwinding his arms from around you. “I’m so sorry… That was a totally weird thing to say, wasn’t it?”

Turning around as you intertwined your fingers with his to urge him to keep his hands planted on your waist before bringing yours up to cup his reddened cheeks.

“No, it’s not weird, the opposite really. It’s a beautiful thing to say, thank you.” Bringing him closer, you kissed his forehead again, this time letting your lips linger a little longer than before. “If it’s any comfort to you, you are my home as well. No matter where I go, as long as you’re with me I know I’ll be okay.”

You smiled softly at the way his eyes widened and he swallowed hard, swiftly bringing his hands up to cover his glowing face. When you pulled his wrists down, Sigma shyly averted his eyes as he tried to hide behind his fringe.

“No need to be embarrassed, angel, even if you’re quite cute like this,” you winked at him. Changing the topic, much to his relief, you held up a cookie. “Wanna try them while they’re still warm?”

Curiously waiting for his verdict, you studied the way the light of your kitchen reflected in his bright eyes. It was a good time to remind yourself how lucky you were to see this side to the enigma that Sigma was to most people.

“They’re really good!” He exclaimed before catching himself and giving you a sheepish smile. “Thank you for making them.”

“Of course,” you grinned. “Wanna grab a plate and a glass of milk and watch another episode? That is, if you feel like paying attention this time around.”

Sigma gave you an affectionate flick to the forehead but before long enough the two of you were snuggled up on the couch again, curled up amongst blankets and with chocolate filling your senses.

Despite teasing him earlier, you too didn’t spare the screen much attention as you sunk into the warmth of your boyfriend’s arms. As you basked in the love tangible in the room, you traced a diamond shape onto the plane of his chest, which he quickly returned in the form of a heart on your back.

It sure was nice to be home.

IM SO BAD AT NARROWING DOWN FAVORITES 😭

To make my life easier, I'm going to not include any solos....

In no particular order, some of my favorite BTS songs are probably:

Black Swan: MOTS7 was my first comeback with BTS and therefore that whole album will hold a special place in my heart and the depth of emotion behind this song in particular too

Ugh: I'm obsessed with everything about this track and how hard it goes and the message and just the rap line melts my brain in all the good ways

Dis-ease: this song could run me over with a truck and I'd say thank you. god dang! It's just a masterpiece.

Pied Piper: it's just a bop, a banger and catchy as heck with vocals to DIE FOR (as with all their songs honestly but this one is just 😍😍)

Hip-Hop Phile: their background and knowledge and fierce dedication put on display with all the name dropping all turned into an incredible song

Outro: Tear: I cry, you cry, they cry.... We all cry. And God it's a fucking banger.

00:00: my depression hangs onto this song like the lifeline it was probably meant to be 😅😂

Special mention to louder than bombs for the haunting vocals and intense emotions you can feel through the lyrics that make me want to drown at sea happily with the sirens

Initial Thoughts on TOMORROW X TOGETHER's The Name Chapter: Freefall

Ok so i just listened to TNC: Freefall in full and damn, okay. Really solid album, sonically. And i say sonically bc i haven't read up on the lyrics just yet (i don't think the eng trans are out yet ☹️)

Am loving how they're showcasing more of their vocals (txt lower register enthusiasts, we are being fed at last 😭) and the whole band/session feels of the music really emphasizes that.

can we take a minute to talk about beomkai's vocals?? bc i really think this might be their era 🥹 and seeing as all of the boys have at least 2 credits to their name in this album, it really feels like this is their sound, and their personal music preferences came through too

i'm on the fence about DILT's inclusion in the album though. we all know it was not a planned track at all but it was a really good opportunity for them to collaborate and have a fun summer track out before headlining lolla 2023.

that said, it just doesn't seem to fit in (at least sonically) in this album. i don't know if moving it higher up in the tracklist would have been better since i haven't read the lyrics yet but sonically, it might have worked more since the more powerful/complex sounding tracks are in the first half, imo

but overall, this album is full of surprises, and very good ones at that!! I'm sure i'll love it even more when i listen to it again but yeah, from the first listen alone, i would recommend this album!!!

Thanks anon for the question!!! Becoming a fan of BTS in the middle of such a massive moment in so many of their solo careers has felt like a wild ride, and also probably been really different from a lot of other people's experiences. Feel like I mentioned this before, but the first song I listened to was Mic Drop. I was like oooookkkaaaayyyyy let me look into them more because that was amazing. I am a genuine fan of all of BTS songs, but Black Swan, Blood Sweat and Tears, Save Me, Ugh, Silver Spoon, Outro Tear, and Truth Untold all left huge impressions on me... but Jimin was always someone who caught my eye when watching BTS content. And then I felt like the world shifted when I listened to Jimin's solo music. Set Me Free blew me away. The look, the vibe, the VOICE, the styling, it's all my kind of taste. And then Like Crazy really just cemented to me like, yeah an artist with actually something to say, that is unafraid to be who they are. I loved every second of it. Jungkook's Standing Next to You, Somebody, Seven, Yes or No and J Hope's ENTIRE set at Lollapalooza felt like another game changer for me. I am so amazed at their talent and command of the stage. I'm probably most looking forward to what J Hope brings with his solo album once he gets out of the military in a few weeks. J Hope is really my kind of vibe too, but I really do enjoy them all!

I reviewed CTT here and here (and have nothing else to add).

As for Shot Glass of Tears, I'm pretty meh about it. It's catchy and the chorus is nice, but the lyrics are pure nonsense and really ruin my enjoyment of the song, and while Jungkook sings well and on theme, that's just it, because it adds to the ridiculousness of the lyrics. I think the lyrics are super melodramatic and cringe, though "got a shot glass full of tears/Drink drink drink say cheers" is a mood, ngl. I've said it numerous times, but David Steward is just not a great lyricist, especially of "sad" songs, such as this one and Too Sad to Dance (the title alone is...). So, like, 7/10? I used to like it more.

3D is... okay, the way Jungkook sings is brilliant, with just the right amount of whiny (nasal) and pathetic, yet sassy and playful. There has yet to be anyone who covered this song properly. JK's ability to perfectly convey meaning, fullness, and the right vibe with his vocals is unmatched and underappreciated. 3D is lowkey a masterpiece for it. I also don't mind the lyrics during JK's parts. I love "Baby oh baby you're making me crazy/Rain rain rain, you can't fake it" and the way JK says that! It's whiny and fuck boy-ish in the best way. The chorus is honestly iconic and at least 50% is JK's delivery. "Cause you know I like it giiiirrrrl, 3D" is memorable and so uniquely JK. Also, the dance is super iconic and memorable and largely contributed to the success of the song. I love JK's high note in the alternate version too! But that's just it... I only love the alternate version. I don't mind Jack Harlow's parts in the live performances, since they're mostly in the background but otherwise they drive me nuts. 3D featuring Harlow when it should be JK's solo is my villain origin story... I can't stomach Harlow's sexist and racist lyrics and his scenes in the MV are super misogynistic. Ugh. Apart from that, I love the alternate version and think 3D gets too much hate (except for the Harlow slander, which is very much deserved) and JK's vocals in the song are very underrated too, just because they sound easy (Alexa, play Easy by Le Sserafim). But 3D is repetitive and gets a bit annoying if you hear it too many times... Still, I'll give the alternate version a 8.5/10.

Edit! Adding Closer to You (The CTT abbreviation is only ever used for Jimin, so I didn't know you meant Jungkook, sorry! It makes more sense though haha.) This is my second favorite bside after Golden, only behind Somebody, but it was number 1 for a couple of weeks, after the Golden live stage! This song is smooth and shows a different side to JK's vocals. I really like the pre-chorus - it's so fast and JK is so good at playing around with rhythm. The choreo is cool too, but my favorite part isn't really the footwork, but rather the elegant, enticing hand movements that are so pretty and seductive and fit the song so well. I don't really believe this song is anything special, and it kind of lacks soul and variety tbh, but JK's vocals make it pleasing and the outro at the end is nice. I don't know, 7.9/8? Is that harsh? I guess I like JK's voice more than the song itself? Golden only is what it is because of Jungkook, really.

Hello! I wanted to share my experience since I saw your post about recent gig, if it's ok :) I was in Paris at the Accor Arena too, but on May 10th. It was their 3rd show in a row and for some reason I was worried that they would be tired by this point, but no!! Alex was in some kind of an upper mood, quite excited even. Yeah, somewhere between songs he said "we are (or I am) exhausted at this point, but we are so happy" or smth like that. In fact, English is not my first language, and it was difficult to understand him sometimes, and I understood some phrases only after the concert from the fan videos on Instagram lol

Btw, he spoke French quite often that day, almost more than English ahahha. He greeted us in French, constantly thanked us in French with merci, "big ideas" was also said in French, and during dsdcihmyc he shouted "chair" in French. And during Body Paint, he awkwardly touched a standing guitar with a cord and dropped it that I couldn’t stop laughing afterwards. But outro BP was something incredibly exciting, he was great, completely immersed in what he was doing. During I wanna be yours, I almost cried, he sang it so soulfully, as if mentally returning to past happy moments in his memory. Oh, and yes, we had Cornerstone. Sorry...

As for the crowd, I completely agree with you. But, even though I had sitting places, already on the second song everyone stood up and did not sit down until the very end, dancing and screaming (me in particularly). To the right and left sides of me there were cute grandfathers in earplugs (funny that there alone, like they literally came to listen to the group, not to spend time with their grandchildren), who danced more actively than me and filmed every song on the phone ahhaha, it was very nice to see them! And before the encore, the stadium was shaking with clatter and I had goosebumps all over my body, the applause did not stop for a minute until they came out again. But yes, there was clearly a revival on the hype songs from AM, and on the songs from The Car everyone calmed down a bit. Of course, this is not Glasto, but still the audience was on fire.

And there were many more moments when he sang "I am a fool for you" directly to the camera, shouted something in the middle of the songs or between them, bowled on Pretty Visitors, said some little phrases between each song, it's unforgettable. I even had a mental breakdown after the concert, like only after the gig I realized that I saw them live and that they all were REAL indeed. Alex is so tiny sweety pie, and when he was blowing kisses at the very end and smiling sincerely, it made him look like a child. I just love them all so so much. I want to go to one more concert, because it really went disastrously fast.

ugh i'll never forgive them for not giving me cornerstone and i was very upset about that BUT i have to say i probably would've been even MORE upset if they played perfect sense because i feel like it's rarer yknow? it's much more likely for them to play cornerstone (for obvious reasons) rather than perfect sense or even star treatment (which thankfully i got sjghdgf)

yeah about the audience it was exactly the same at my show, we were all standing up and jumping around for most of the concert (mostly am and fwn tracks) but then the majority would go dead for specific songs, mostly from the car. but you can BET i was still singing my heart out. and also YEAH can we talk about the applause at the end of the main set and after the encore???? it just didn't stop it lasted SO LONG and it was SO WELL DESERVED because they were AMAZING

i don't remember if he bowled at my show but he did raise the mic stand in the air during pretty visitors sjfhsgfgs i also think he did something similar to what you said during sias, or maybe another song i don't remember - but yeah he pointed directly at the camera and i saw it on the big screen and almost collapsed right there and then lmao. and when he kept waving goodbye and blowing kisses and smiling he was so pretty and he really looked happy to be there and i just never wanted him to get off stage :') i truly wanted that moment to last forever.

the feeling you get once you realize that you're actually seeing them/you saw them is CRAZY. like they exist! they're real and tangible and you were in the same place as them! breathing the same air! and right after it's done (it literally goes by so fast) you start missing them so much. it's almost been two weeks and i'm still so emotional and nostalgic <///3 i love them so much and i miss them terribly.

Omg well if you like Blood Sweat & Tears then I think you’ll like her sisters Fake Love and Black Swan!! The song that got my attention was Dynamite but the ones that really got me into the Bangtan life were Mikrokosmos and Pied Piper. But they do so many genres, I feel like there’s something for everyone! I could talk about BTS forever and I know I’ll end up recommending too many songs so I’ll stop here 😅 thanks for reading!

IMO Get Busy Living is Mickey's absolute favorite song on the album, and 95% of the reason is the outro and he has screamed himself HOARSE more than once singing along. It's written in notebooks and on scraps of paper and if he went to school it would be scrawled on his binders.

That album was EVERYTHING to me when it came out and I thought Pete Wentz was the most Profound Lyricist in generations lmao. I had the lyrics EVERYWHERE, and even now in my 30s I know every word to every song. It's etched into my brain in an indelible way. I listened to it yesterday and nothing has screamed Mickey Milkovich quite so immediately and insistently as it did!!!!

i listened to Vorstellungskraft in full and i can probably tell you more after a few more rounds but really like Lined Skin, Rotten Hull so far!! i know some people don’t love that but i really like comparing shit, the song kinda reminds me of that punk ultra mono album i think..? pretty cool either way!!
