Does being a multishipper mean I have to like every ship for every character?

Like, I love almost all the the Marauder's ships, but like...

I just can't imagine Remus without Sirius. I was scrolling through the moonwater tag earlier and I can lowkey see it, but it just didn't hit me the same way, and I feel guilty for not being able/wanting to imagine or write it.

No, I don't think you have to like EVERY ship! I think it just means enjoying multiple pairings that contradict, if that makes sense? Like enjoying both Bartylus and Rosekiller (liking Barty with two different people) or Jegulus and Jily and Jarty and Prongsfoot (James with four different people) for example.

I'm not really a multishipper...like I'm here to hype up any ship you want me to because I don't believe in shaming people for who they ship...but I have my OTPs and I usually stick to them. I think whatever you like is valid, as long as you don't shame others for it!

Congrats on winning the competition, that's AMAZING! Honestly, I'm so jealous. I showed one teacher some fanfic I wrote when I was 12 (it was very g-rated, don't worry) and I was SO proud of it. And my teacher lost it and got mad at me for asking about it, so I never talked about it in school again. I'm so glad schools are more open about it now.

Do I count as a multishipper if I only ship certain ships as being previous to my otps happening?

Like, I ship Bartylus, Bitchkiller, Jily and Moonwater, but only pre-Jegulus, Rosekiller and Wolfstar

So I don't ever see them in my brain as actually staying together permanently, more as like a teenage-young adult relationship that happened before my otps got together

I...hm...I mean, I'm not the authority on multishipping lol. I feel like that's not really multishipping because you don't see multiple possibilities as endgame, but that's just my opinion. The cool thing about fandom is there's not really many steadfast rules lol.

I don't! I used to, but not anymore. Now I just follow people whose vibes I like or who I've met on discord servers. To be transparent, I do follow a lot of people though. I just love seeing everyone's posts :D

I really prefer they don't.

I suck at setting boundaries so I've had people do that before and I'm not always the best at redirecting them. But I feel like for me, my DMs are a little more casual and hard to manage, so I try to keep them to like...friendly convos with people 18 and over and/or fandom conversation. I'm never going to be mad if someone DMs me (besides bots, so fucking annoying), but I really prefer advice asks stay in my inbox, so I can separate them.

Guys. We do not bind with bandages (that's why I literally put multiple warnings about it in Clandestine). We do not bind with things that are not intentionally made for binding. We do not bind for long hours or with incorrectly sized materials. We do not bind unsafely.

Be smart. If you want to bind, do it safely. Meaning:

Use a binder or tape created for binding.

Remove tape correctly, so you don't hurt your skin.

Wash your binders according to directions of the company.

Buy binders/tape from highly-reviewed, reputable, (preferably queer-owned) companies.

Use the correctly sized product. Do not size down.

Use the product for the amount of hours suggested. Usually 8 hours for a binder for an adult and 6 hours for people under 18. AT MOST.

Change your binding routines in hot weather/during exercise. (As in, use a looser binder, bind for less time).

I know you want to bind and I know dysphoria is a bitch but please, please, don't be stupid. Make good choices. If you can't bind safely, find strategies to dress in a way that doesn't accentuate that area, like loose clothing and layering. But please don't make choices that could literally break bones, fuck up your back permanantly, etc. Not good, not good.

Since I joined the fandom I think I've noticed the fan favorites are Remus and Regulus. Why do you think is that?

I think people relate most to them. Like people who read fanfic tend to be (not always, but tend to be) quiet bookworm types, so they vibe more with Reg and Remus over James and Sirius (though I think everyone wishes we were more like that. And then Reg brings the family trauma and Remus brings the whole....all the other trauma. So yeah, I think that it's more common for people to kin them, so they end up being the favorites.
