I saw a jkkr on instagram desactivating her acc after the plane video. I actually get it. When tae asked jm to sit on his lab during the live, he refused. But jk allowed tae to sit on his lab, film him, post it on social media to million of viewers and give them more reasons to ship them and hate on jm.
I don't get it?? I haven't seen the live, but I doubt Jimin went "Tkkrs will be jealous and Jkkrs will be mad so I must not let V sit on my lap". V is Jungkook's dear friend, family, he wouldn't have a problem with him sitting on his lap or filming it (they're always being filmed...). I don't think Jikook let Tkkrs dictate their actions. Jungkook wouldn't hurt Jimin on purpose. He's just not letting bullshit influence him, as he should. Jimin is the same. They ignore what shippers say and just do them.

Jimin is seen only as “the glue of the group,” the one who holds the other members together, but this means he is never really taken seriously as an artist or a person. On top of that, he’s shipped with almost everyone, which makes it seem like he doesn’t exist as an individual, but only as part of an imaginary couple created by fans. The result is that Jimin isn’t recognized for his personality or his talent, but only as a role or a “piece” of these ships, which is really limiting and unfair. This attitude within the fandom often contributes to the fact that he also has haters outside it. If the people who are supposed to support and respect him treat him this way, it’s easy for others not to take him seriously or even attack him.
Is Jimin really seen as the glue of the group? I never noticed that. Aren't RM and Hobi the glue according to most people?
I don't think Jimin is the most shipped, isn't that Jungkook? All members are shipped together, particularly the most popular ones. But Jimin has always been cute, sexy, seductive, and he's also more "feminine" sometimes, so in people's heteronormative minds they make Jimin "the woman" - and since women are objectified and disrespected, I guess they do that to Jimin as well.
Jimin has a ton of loyal fans. Army really move for him sometimes, like when LC charted at n.1 on the Hot 100, but without proper motivation (competition) it doesn't happen. He's the "threat" to Taekook, which is unbelievably popular and "real" according to an unbelievable number of people, including big fandom accounts:
I gagged when I saw this post. But most accounts are like this...
But, yeah, outside the fandom he can be a punching bag too. Like, kpop refuses to acknowledge how good Jimin is as a dancer.
Thanks for the ask!

V has just truly been rubbing me the wrong way recently, and even in the past but just especially chapter 2 and during/post military. I’ve always loved him in the group but as an individual once I started paying more attention to him there’s just sooo many red flags that I feel like are always just swept away by him being viewed as ‘eclectic’ and ‘unique’ in a way. Like hanging out with those misogynistic men (wooga) is nawttt quirky like tae stans think it is LMAO. And I’m not saying jk is helpless or is manipulated in anyway by V cus he is a grown man… but V posting him drinking coke was such a low blow and genuinely damage control and very snakey of V. I’ve been having a hard time rectifying my respect for him as a member of BTS and their interpersonal relationships with him specifically since last week it’s just very icky to me the type of person he is i dont kno.. he just screams conservative to me
Hmm... I understand where you are coming from, and I've seen a lot of Armys comment that Wooga is sexist (don't know much about it). However, all members of BTS seem to hang out with/like sexist people. There's Supreme Boy, for example, and a lot of the celebrities they admire. I don't know if V screams conservative but he does scream ignorant of world affairs (JK too but he's more empathetic and humble). I'm sure being a rich idol, in a conservative country, surrounded by other rich people, doesn't help make anyone less conservative.
What are the other red flags btw?
But yeah, V ain't it for me atm.
Thanks for the ask!
