Passed an insight check early on in one of the astarion convos "the stars I meant, I could take or leave your chin" it was when he says something flattering and kind of nice to the player then seems to drift off/disassociate for a moment and when I passed the check I was able to clock that he was kind of full of shit and idk, I think it's a neat touch that not only is he already trying to butter the player up, but that if you're good at sniffing out bullshit you can catch it early

Also, Astarion telling Petra she's got her charms only for the narrator to say he's lying is pretty fuckin funny

update:

so, I've been going to therapy (ok I'm 2 appts in, but still) through my social services job provider.... and I have a ~vague diagnosis~ of depression and anxiety..... more leaning towards like severe depression and like mid range general anxiety. again, I can't get an adhd screening bc im on my digestion meds (creon) for life, so I need to have 3 solid meals a day, at the very least.... so the psych wouldn't refer me to a psychiatrist for that since I can't get any adhd meds since they fuck w/ your appetite.... so it's basically pointless.

but at least I've got a diagnosis for depression and anxiety. that's something. but I'm still not putting it on job applications, bc fuck employers lmao.

some of the problems I have in my life are just straight up not problems a psychopath would have like I used to be pretty psychopathic for sure but it was a phase and I grew out of it. I don’t think many psychopaths forgive all the things I forgive nor do they stress over doing their job (which is a therapist for little children) correctly
