Okay. So I watched the testicular cancer PSA on the Deadpool and Wolverine bluray and there is definitely a fic there. Probably a weird cracky one but still. I’m thinking Wade getting in Logan’s case about it or even trying to discreetly check him after they start dating because he’s terrified of watching someone he loves suffer like him (he knows better than anyone that a healing factor isn’t necessarily going to save you from cancer). And maybe it’s that worry that gets Logan to learn that Wade’s scars are his cancer of the everything.

Alas, a combination of lack of time, disposition, and my particular perfectionism towards this 'verse since it means soooo much to me prevented me from writing the fic I wanted to. A lot of ppl bring up this scene in s1 ep5 to villainize Jack Crawford, his reaction makes them point and go "see?! He's a bad guy!" or take it as a big gotcha! moment. But like- this happens after the scene where Hannibal attempts to alienate Will from Jack which is DIRECTLY CALLED OUT BY WILL btw. Although it's not like Will snapped at Jack directly because of this, the tension was already rising, but Hannibal was obviously spurring it on and some people in the audience took the bait too.

Don't get me wrong, Will is justified to be angry, we sure know he's going through it the whole show, but Jack is mainly his boss right now. There's a certain level of professionalism they gotta maintain (which does add to the strain between them, I'm not saying it's a good thing). I just think a lot of people get upset at Jack here for the wrong reasons. I don't agree with Jack most of the time either, but I understand his motivations and viewpoint. I disagree with him because I think his methods are flawed, not because he's mean 💀

My heart just absolutely breaks thinking what if Majima knew beforehand that Kiryu's days were numbered but he was in denial, refusing to believe that a fucking illness of all things would put the nail in the Dragon's coffin. So when they finally meet in that shack, he starts their conversation with a taunt, because he needs to see it for himself to believe it. To come to terms with the fact that Kiryu is actually dying.

And so, they fight. It gets real ugly real quick and by the end of it, Majima's eye is glazed over with a terrifying realisation as he stands over Kiryu's beaten body, his breathing more laboured than it had any right to be.

Going into the fight, Majima wanted to be absolutely crushed by those large hands, years of pent up feelings and frustration being pounded down onto him. That way he'd know that the Dragon was still alive and kicking. That his Kiryu-chan was not actually dying an excruciatingly slow death.

But his victory rings like a funeral toll in his ears. This is all wrong. Kiryu Kazuma is supposed to his perfect rival, his true equal. The only one who could tame the Mad Dog. Not the bleeding, coughing mess of a man that laid underneath him. This couldn't be happening.

But when Kiryu looked at Majima, he felt more than saw the remnants of wildfire in the Dragon's eyes, flickering away more and more by the second. It took every single fibre of Majima's being to not end the poor bastard's life right there.

What was the use anyway—the Dragon was already dead.

One additional thing about Scion that I find interesting is that he isn’t exempt from the ironic monkeys paw logic governing the Worm power system. His stilling ability outwardly imposes order and resolves problems, but it does so by canceling out everything- all forms of energy, molecular activity, power expression, all perfectly countered and evened out to a null state. In other words, it’s applied entropy, creating heat death in miniature. Scion’s main day-to-day problem solving tool is quietly a minute acceleration of the One Big Problem he and the other Entities are so desperately trying to outrun. Solve the problem in front of you, shorten the rope elsewhere. He can’t create with it; he can only damage things in an agreeable way. And it looks angelic. It looks helpful.

when grant wants to feel something, he'll watch videos of the curiosity rover on mars singing happy birthday to itself 🎂 it's so incredibly sad but cute to him, so it immediately turns on the waterworks lolol 🥲

objectively, grant is NOT a car guy; he's 110% an airplane guy. however, he owns a car that makes him look like a car guy and gets him approached ALL THE TIME by people who want to talk cars. it's a 1960 ford galaxie and it looks like this, except i think it would be a nice shade of light, almost minty green or maybe blue (no, i haven't decided, and probably won't because there's no cc version of this car for the sims 4, so we'll never see it lol) 💚💙

why is that his car? 🚗 well, it was his grandparents' car, which he bought off them when they wanted to replace it; they have never had a garage or a carport in their entire life, so the car was exposed to the elements for fifty years, and it was, thus, fucked up. they were also tired of fixing it. however, it's a sentimental car because aoife and joseph met working on the same production line at a ford auto factory, and this car was the first one they bought as a couple in their marriage (even though aoife ironically does not know how to drive lmao). they wanted it gone but also didn't, you know, so grant bought it because he also didn't want to see it gone; he'd spent his whole life sandwiching into that backseat with 8 billion of his cousins. oh, aaandddd he bought it even though the necessary repairs were extensive, which he did all by himself with help from his grandparents and uncle (aka people who know shit about cars)

a shorter fun fact: he smokes luckies 🫢

grant has been on TV before! it was very brief, for like five seconds, but he was interviewed by his hometown news station after his high school hockey team won the state championship game one year and he was granted the MVP title. he was very nervous, and his friends ended up nicknaming him "mr. team effort" because his entire interview was him just saying things like, "oh, um, well, it was a team effort, and we worked really hard...together...as a team..."
