An unknown entity is tormenting a city (Gotham, Metropolis, etc, doesn't matter) and at this point nearly the entire Justice League is on location. And they are loosing, badly. The flaming green robot should have been easy enough for the entire JLA to take out, but none of their attacks have any effect, they can't even touch the robot, who is capable of devastating amounts of destruction. At this point the heroes have shifted their focus to rescue and evacuation efforts, while the JLD members present are scrambling to figure out how the hell to fight a being from the Infinite Realms. The idea of summoning someone from the Realms to help is brought up but ultimately dismissed as an absolute last resort, the risk of summoning something even worse being too great.
The robot is hovering in the sky, his mechanical face somehow morphed into a mocking grin as he looks down at the heroes. His arms morph into massive blasters, and the heroes hurry to get the area as clear as possible, then brace for impact. Except, nothing happens. And then, a loud metallic clang sounds. On the ground in front of the heroes lies the body of the robot, or what remains of it after falling 50 feet. They notice it's missing it's head. As the heroes look up to where the robot had been hovering a moment ago, they see a person flyi- no, just standing there. A regular looking kid with black hair, wearing an oversized ghostbusters hoodie and jeans, is standing on the roof right behind where the robot had been hovering. But what everyone can't help but focus on, is the decapitated head of the robot he's holding upside down in his hands.
Everyone there stares at the kid in... relief? trepidation? Mostly in disbelief, they watch as the kid looks at the head in his hands (there's a small flicker of something bright green sticking out of it) then down the side of the building at the body below. The kid lets out a pleased hum that is only audible to those with super-hearing, then turns around and walks out of sight.
The heroes are quickly snapped out of their trance and all hurry to get up to the roof, but in the 0.2 seconds it took them to get there the kid had disappeared, robot head gone with him.
They are later unable to find any clear footage of the kid, or any other clues on how to find him, he's simply vanished without a trace. .....
Danny had been busy studying for an upcoming exam, when he was rudely interrupted by Skulker being annoying outside. Phasing through his wall and invisibly flying over to take a look he finds several city blocks that have been levelled to the ground, and a Skulker hovering in the sky grinning down at his handiwork as if he's done something special. Danny is frustrated at being interrupted for this, and doesn't have time for a long, drawn out battle right now, so he lands on the roof behind Skulker and walks up to him silently. He quickly grabs the head of Skulker's suit and yanks, effectively decapitating him and making the body of the suit fall down on the ground. He checks to make sure that Skulker's actual blob of a body is in the head, then that the suit on the ground is fully powered down. Satisfied, he hums and walks away, turning invisible once more and flying back to his apartment, where he puts Skulker in a thermos for a time-out. Then he sits back down and begrudgingly opens his textbook to where he left off, unaware of the heroes collectively having a breakdown.

THANK YOU ANON! YOUR EXCITEMENT GOT ME EXCITED!! I shall gladly share more about the researcher! I too, love them <3
The researcher turned an abandoned lighthouse into his studio/home: There is writing on the walls, strange charts all over the place, and fairy lights carefully placed to mimic a stars map, the very layout of the ex-lighthouse slowly changed as they tipped their toes on wishcraft. During this wishcraft phase, siffrin made his prized possession, a pair of 'night glasses' which give him literal night vision (if he wears it, no matter the time, it will feel like it is night)
The lighthouse is far from any town, people rarely visits, and any traveler who decides to check on the 'strange building' he lives in will get a BIG headache the second they open the door. So a few people know someone lives there but the rumors of what exactly is Siffrin's deal varies.
Siffrin used to give themselves headaches all the time, and his determination to keep reading the forbidden language deteriorated his vision. He doesn't remember most of his life in his studio and most of what he studied so he writes things down on his coat.
After an accident made them fully blind, his headaches stopped and his memory got a bit better (still terrible though).
An evacuation happened in the newest city because of the king freezing everything, and a 'brave and kind' soul remembered "Someone lives in the strange building!" going out of their way to climb their headache home and drag Siffrin out of their house, explaining the situation to him and saving them from being frozen.
Siffrin knows very few Vaugardian words when he is dragged out of his home with all his research, but they like to learn + know how dangerous wishcraft can be, so they don't wishcraft to learn Vauguardian, they do it by normal trial and error (they do wishcraft for his 'research to stay safe too' though). People assume Siffrin is crazy or dumb or both when they first meet him, because the researcher knows so little about the world and is obsessed with the 'dots in the sky', but it doesn't take long to figure out this fella is incredibly smart and a good learner (self-taught a forgotten language, have been connecting dots in the sky and in blank pages for years, and keep studying even after losing his sight)
Smarts aside, they are bad at communication. Even when they want to be honest and vulnerable they aren't very good at it, they haven't talked with other people in years.
Whenever Siffrin speaks in his native tongue people get a headache so they are mostly quiet.
When they lost their eye during an attack, their night glasses were broken too, so now not only is 'half of the sky empty' he also lost his aid/ needing to deal with the sun every day, which is a star so he can see it! But seeing it is disorienting (since the sun is always changing its position) and painfully bright compared to his calming nights, so he either deals with a starless sky or a painful light that doesn't guide him.

Here's more of what's been happening on the ground. (Once again I'm not an expert in war).
Palestinian fighters are still waging war on the state of Israel
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is clear that Hamas and other groups have access to anti aircraft weaponry and long range missiles, partly from looting Israeli bases but partly from (and this is unconfirmed) from the Russia-Ukraine war. It's not unexpected for weapons to end up smuggled into other countries during a war.
On the other hand, Israel went from swearing it would invade Gaza on the ground to doing just about anything but that
Tumblr media
It's understandable why Israel would hesitate even with its 300,000 strong army
Tumblr media
IDF is made up of mostly conscripted soldiers who normally act as civilians once they've served their 2.5 year mandatory conscription. Not only that, IDF acts more like a police force than an army. Its soldiers simply don't have the training or mentality to fight militia groups in their home turf.
America itself doubts its capabilities no matter how it words it. This is a country that has yet to win against a guerilla army so it has experience when it comes to this
Tumblr media
Edit:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Edit 2: above Hamas states the obvious
In my previous post I highlighted how disorganised the Israel military was in response to Operation Flood Al Aqsa.
This hasn't changed in the days. Israel is behaving more like a cornered animal lashing out than the so called 'strongest army in the Middle East.'
It has been dropping bombs on Syria, Lebanon and Egypt aimlessly, more out of anger than calculated strategy
Tumblr media
Its efforts to pushing back against the Palestinian militia isn't going well either
Tumblr media
in addition to naked, barbaric cruelty towards Gaza because it is not producing results elsewhere
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The tweet below is important as Russia is an Israeli ally. The Israeli right wing has been very favourable towards Putin, even willing to disagree with the US and EU policies on Russia. However Israel repeatedly bombing Syria is quickly souring Russia on the country. While Putin doesn't want to go against Israel at this point, he has become increasingly critical of the country in the past couple of days.
Tumblr media
Saudi went from making a half-hearted 'both sides need to stop statements to cutting ties with Israel (ties Israel and America have worked very hard to form) to outrightly condemning Israel's treatment of the people of Gaza.
Tumblr media
Naturally, with all of this happening, Israel has responded, not with ceasing the bombardment of Gaza, but by killing and assaulting journalists covering the genocide.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
so that it could committ war crimes without it being documented and seen by the world. War crimes such as announcing that they'd bomb a hospital in Gaza and giving doctors and nurses just hours to evacuate their patients.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This, btw, is part of the reason they cut electricity so that Palestinians can't post their own genocide on social media. Israel brutality is costing them allies but they have no intention of stopping.
Despite all of this, there has been a great deal of support for Palestinians globally
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In short, this war is not going the way Israel thought it would. They didn't crush Hamas and the other Palestinian military groups immediately after the battle of Re'im. In fact, they're still struggling against those groups right now. They've been humiliated in front of the world after being revealed to be paper tigers and as such, they're going after Palestinian civilians in increasingly horrific ways.
The Palestinian resistance is still optimistic and they're still carrying out their plan. There's still hope for a future without apartheid.

i am so fascinated by the world of "flow" because like. it doesn't look like the humans have been gone that long. the house isn't that dusty, the city is submerged but not crumbling apart, the boats are mostly in good condition, and the cat returning to his house makes me think that on some level he still expects someone will come back. but there are no bodies.
now, this could be because showing an actual human corpse would be too dark for what the filmmakers are going for, but there are ways they could've implied it if they'd wanted to - think tarzan's parents' being shown on the floor after the leopard attacks them, but you only see their feet. there are also no signs of, say, a nuclear winter, or a major natural disaster (until the flood happens), or something that would've caused a mass evacuation or a mass death. it really seems like they all just disappeared one day. between that, the secretarybird's "ascension" (as i think of it), and the whale that doesn't look like any real whale and also miraculously survived being beached as we see in the post-credits scene, it absolutely seems like there's some form of magic or divine intervention going on in this world. (plus you know. animals smart enough to steer boats.)
so like... was this the rapture? just some weird universal 'reset' where all the humans blinked out of existence and the animals were left to inherit the earth? or did humans die off a long time ago, but something kept their artifacts miraculously intact?

A Dp x Dc idea that isn't Danny-centric!? Say it ain't so!
So I think that this'll be a relatively short one but anywho.
Pariah Dark forcing the entirety of Amity Park into the ghost zone did not come without consequences, even with the ghost shield the Fenton's put over the town.
Said consequences come in the form of the entire basically becoming a ghost portal in and of itself. It mostly happened slowly over time, with the town experiencing quakes that spread quakes that lead to the Ghost Zone.
Everyone had to evacuate when it got really bad, well, mostly everyone. You see, Sam didn't want to leave Amity Park at all so he tried to find ways to convince her parents to let her stay even if said city was basically crumbling.
Then she had an idea.
What if she became one of Undergrowths allogenes? (taken from genshin impact)
So she persuaded (read: bullied) Danny into taking her to him so they could make a deal and let her stay in Amity. Undergrowth was surprisingly accommodating to the both of them, what with Danny becoming the new Ghost Prince and Sam already leaving a good impression on him.
He gave her a task, take this seed and place it within the middle of Amity Park and watch over it until it fully grows, then, and only then, will he accept her as one of his allogenes.
So Sam very obviously took said seed, said yes, and went to plant it.
The center of Amity Park was basically a giant ghost portal, it was small, at first. But with each and every quake it expanded and expanded until it couldn't be ignored anymore, so after Danny and Sam got back and went to it, Sam just dropped the seed in the middle of it and watched it sink.
Luckily Overgrowth gave her a proper method she should follow to ensure its growth, at the very least.
It took 4 years for the seed to grow, 4 years of relative isolation for Sam. Danny was usually busy with High Prince duties, what with being summoned and the likes, while Tucker was busy with taking over the outside world.
They still made time for her however.
When it grew Undergrowth gave her praise, not many would willingly keep themselves in isolation to grow an interdimensional seed from the other world. Such, he made do on his promise and gave Sam a portion of his powers, turning her into one of his allogenes.
He did however tell her that she was only Allogene he's ever had in multiple eons. Some of them chose to reenter the reincarnation cycle, while others sacrificed themselves for the greater good and such, some of them among the living are still alive, however, so they should be at least, vaguely aware of her existence.
Sam trained her new powers, familiarizing herself with them until it was as easy as breathing, which took a few months of non-stop training. Thankfully her new stamina is leaps beyond that of her previous human self. Eventually, she was even able to create a few lotus' that acted mostly as transport around the giant ghost portal.
Oh yea, did I mention that the Ghost Portal expanded enough to take over all of Amity Park? Well, a few buildings here and there stilled survived, mostly like small islands but still.
So Sam was living a pretty fine life, all things considered. Her days were very peaceful, tending to a few plants here and there, taking care of the giant tree that sprouted from the seed she grew, training her powers and talking to Danny and Tucker whenever they dropped by.
It was repetitive, but a nice one.
Then her daily cycle was interrupted by people claiming to be the Justice League, and she honestly did not have a clue as to who they are. She didn't really keep up with the news after planting the seed, or the outside world at all for that matter, the only one she regularly kept in contact with was Tucker.
She thought back on, and Tucker did mention them once or twice. Mostly painting them as irritating individuals yet worthy of respect, not that she knew why but she wasn't going to just let them step in here regardless. It's pretty rude to just step into someone's home without permission, no?

GAZA DAY 297: PALESTINIAN CHILD DIES OF STARVATION, TURKIYE WARNS IT COULD ENTER INTO WAR AGAINST THE ISRAELI OCCUPATION, GENOCIDE CONTINUES AS DOZENS MORE KILLED
On 297th day of the Israeli occupation's ongoing special genocide operation in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed a total of 3 new massacres of Palestinian families, resulting in the deaths of no less than 39 Palestinian civilians, mostly women and children, while another 93 others were wounded over the previous 24-hours.
It should be noted that as a result of the constant Israeli bombardment of Gaza's healthcare system, infrastructure, residential and commercial buildings, local paramedic and civil defense crews are unable to recover countless hundreds, even thousands of victims who remain trapped under the rubble, or whose bodies remain strewn across the streets of Gaza.
Turkiye must be “very strong so that Israel can’t do these things to the Palestinians,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told AKP Party officials in a speech on Sunday night, implying a threat to the Israeli occupation, according to the Hebrew media.
“Just as we entered [Nagorno-]Karabakh, just as we entered Libya, we might do the same to them. There is nothing we can’t do. We must only be strong.”
Further, Turkiye's Foreign Ministry said on Monday that "just as the end of the genocidal Hitler came, so too will be the end of the genocidal (Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu."
"Just as the genocidal Nazis were held accountable, those who seek to destroy the Palestinians will also be held accountable,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"Humanity will stand with the Palestinians. You will not be able to destroy the Palestinians," it added.
Similarly, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan posted on the social media platform X, "our President has become the voice of humanity's conscience."
"Those who seek to silence this just voice, especially international Zionist circles including Israel, are in a state of great panic," Fidan said, adding that "history has ended the same way for all genocidal perpetrators and their supporters," he added.
The comments came after Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz insulted Erdogan on X, and appeared to make threats against the Turkish President.
Turkiye's head of Communications wrote on X that those who threaten the Turkish President "do so at their own peril," and accused the Israeli occupation of "ongoing genocide in Palestine."
In other news on Monday, July 29th, thousands of Palestinians were once again displaced from the Al-Bureij Refugee Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, as well as its outskirts, after the Israeli occupation army ordered their evacuation in preperation for ethnic cleansing operations in the camp.
Witnesses reported seeing thousands of citizens fleeing their homes from various areas of the Bureij Camp, most of whom headed towards the cities of Deir al-Balah and Al-Nuseirat.
According to local reporting, the Zionist army ordered the evacuation of citizens from Al-Bureij Refugee Camp and the Al-Shahuda areas in blocks 660, 661, 2220, 2225, and 2348.
For several months now, the Israeli occupation army has repeatedly ordered Palestinians to leave their homes for southern Gaza, claiming that they are "humane and safe," while forcing families into cramped, densely populated tent cities, along with UNRWA Schools and other public facilities before bombing those areas randomly and intermittently, while citizens starve and encounter disease.
In the latest example of the catastrophic and inhumane conditions in Gaza, medical sources announced on Monday, a 6-year-old child named Ali Anas Al-Tatar died as a result of starvation and dehydration at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.
This brings the total number of victims to succumb to famine in the Gaza Strip to 39.
Back in May, the head of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) declared the northern Gaza Strip to be in a "full blown famine."
"It's a horror," Cindy McCain, who leads the WFP, said on NBC's Meet The Press. “There is famine — full-blown famine — in the north, and it’s moving its way south.”
Meanwhile, the horrors the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) inflict on the Palestinian population of Gaza continued.
In one of many examples, Zionist army warplanes bombed a residential house belonging to the Abu Muslim family in the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, killing 10 Palestinian civilians who were transported to Nasser Hospital in the city.
Occupation forces also targeted a gathering of civilians in the Al-Sikka area of Khan Yunis, resulting in the deaths of three Palestinians.
Similarly, on Sunday evening, occupation aircraft bombed a residential house in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, killing three civilians, and wounding several others, including women and children.
Occupation soldiers went on to burn civilian homes in the Al-Nuseirat Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, while Zionist soldiers also detonated residential homes and buildings in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.
Additionally, occupation drones opened fire with live bullets on Al-Sina'a and Al-Maghribi Streets, south of Gaza City.
The horrors continued on Monday when Zionist artillery shelling targeted the Abu Hamid roundabout east of Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza, killing 5 Palestinians and wounding a number of others.
Occupation forces continued to detonate civilian homes and residential buildings in the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, while also shelling the Sheikh Al-Nasser neighborhood in central Khan Yunis.
Local civil defense and paramedic crews reported the recovery of 3 martyrs from the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City as a result of occupation artillery shelling several days ago.
Throughout the day, IOF artillery shelling targeted the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of the city, while occupation warships shelled the coast of Gaza City.
At the same time, Zionist warplanes and artillery shelling continue pummeling the Al-Bureij Camp, while the occupation army is also shelling the Nuseirat Camp, as well agricultural lands in the vicinity of the mills south of Deir al-Balah.
As the day continued, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported recovering the bodies 5 Palestinians killed after occupation fighter jets bombed a gathering of civilians in the vicinity of Al-Firdaws School, west of Rafah, in Gaza's South.
Following that, occupation aircraft bombed another residential home in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, injuring 4 Palestinians.
Meanwhile, IOF warplanes bombed a civilian residence in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City, killing one resident and wounding another.
The Israeli occupation army also detonated an entire residential block in the Block-12 area of the Bureij Camp.
On Monday evening, occupation artillery shelling targeted a residential apartment near Al-Wahda Tower in the Al-Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of three Palestinians and wounding several others.
Then at dawn on Tuesday, Zionist army fighter jets bombed a residential house in the town of Abasan Al-Jadida, east of Khan Yunis, killing several civilians and wounding others.
Occupation warplanes also bombed the Church of Saint Porohyrius, which houses displaced Palestinian families, injuring a number of civilians.
Similarly, occupation artillery forces shelled in the vicinity of the Al-Awda Schools that also shelter displaced civilians, while occupation aircraft bombarded a house in the Jorat Al-Lot area, east of Khan Yunis.
Also in Khan Yunis, Israeli occupation forces bombed a house near the Al-Salam Mosque in the Tahlia area, east of the city.
Just prior to midnight, Zionist aircraft bombed a house again in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City, as well as the Friend's Building in the Ansar area, southwest of the city, leading to the injury of several civilians, including women and children.
As a result of the Israeli occupation's ongoing war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, the death toll now exceeds 39'363 Palestinians killed, including at least 10'300 women and more than 15'700 children, while another 90'923 others have been wounded since the start of the current round of Zionist aggression, beginning with the events of October 7th, 2023.
This brings the total casualty count to more than 130'286, or the equivalent of 5.66% of Gaza's 2.3 million Palestinian residents.

Gabe Fleisher at Wake Up To Politics:
A few weeks ago, after CNN published its bombshell report about North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, I was texting with a friend. Rumors had been flying around the political world all day about what the report would bring. Now that it had arrived, my friend told me he was unimpressed; it wasn’t as earth-shattering as he’d been expecting. “One day, when your grandchildren ask you what American politics was like in 2024,” I responded, “you can tell them that we learned a gubernatorial candidate called himself a Nazi on a porn website, and your initial response was to shrug.” [...]
The U.S. is currently grappling with two major hurricanes at once — trying to prepare for one while still recovering from the damage of the other. The latter, Hurricane Helene, was the deadliest hurricane to hit the mainland U.S. since Katrina in 2005. More than 200 people have been killed, mostly in North Carolina, but also in Georgia and South Carolina as well. Entire towns in western North Carolina were leveled; some residents have now gone more than a week without running water.
The former, Hurricane Milton, is expected to make landfall in Florida tonight. Forecasters suggest that it could hit Tampa Bay, which was also impacted by the devastation of Helene but has not been in the direct path of a hurricane since 1921. The city is considered uniquely vulnerable to natural disaster; analysts are already predicting damage upwards of $50 billion. Local, state, and federal officials have been pleading with anyone in Milton’s path to evacuate immediately. “I can say this without any dramatization whatsoever: If you choose to stay in one of those evacuation areas, you are going to die,” Tampa Mayor Jane Castor said on CNN earlier this week.
“Several years ago I asked [the National Hurricane Center] to show me what the worst case storm hitting Florida would look like,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) posted on X. “What they showed me back then is almost identical to the #Milton forecast now.” With both storms hitting the U.S. only weeks before a heated presidential election, it is not shocking that they has quickly been sucked into the political discourse. America has a long history of election-year disasters becoming talking points on the campaign trail, from Hurricane Andrew hurting George H.W. Bush in 1992 to Hurricane Sandy boosting Barack Obama in 2012. But the responses to Helene and Milton have been marked by something new: an unprecedented flood of misinformation and conspiracy theories. Don’t take it from me. Take it from FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell, who told reporters on a Tuesday conference call that the misinformation surrounding these two hurricanes has been “absolutely the worst I have ever seen.”
Many of the false claims have come directly from Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who has claimed that: the Biden administration is “going out of their way to not help people in Republican areas” (GOP governors have said otherwise); that “Kamala spent all her FEMA money, billions of dollars, on housing for illegal migrants” (FEMA’s congressionally-appropriated program to help local governments house migrants is completely separate from FEMA’s disaster relief funds); and that “we give foreign countries hundreds of billions of dollars and we’re handing North Carolina $750” (that is merely the amount of aid made available to hurricane victims immediately; over the long run, victims can receive up to tens of thousands of dollars in support). A slew of Trump allies, including X owner Elon Musk, have amplified several other conspiracy theories online. But the prize for Biggest Whopper goes to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who posted — on her official congressional account — this week: “Yes they can control the weather.” The supposed “they” was not immediately identified, although Greene previously suggested in 2018 that California wildfires that year were caused by space lasers linked to the Rothschilds, a prominent Jewish family that has long been the subject of antisemitic conspiracy theories. (Greene posted again about “lasers controlling the weather” this week.) In recent weeks, Hurricanes Helene and Milton have sparked a flurry of antisemitic attacks against Jewish officials involved in the response, including claims that they created the disasters.
In her initial post, Greene attached a video of former CIA Director John Brennan discussing geoengineering, an umbrella term for scientific research into manipulating climate systems in order to mitigate the effects of climate change. Geoengineering remains largely theoretical; it is not possible to geoengineer a hurricane, and the technology has no connection to anything that happened with either Helene or Milton. “Climate change is the new Covid,” Greene asserted in another message. “Ask your government if the weather is manipulated or controlled. Did you ever give permission to them to do it? Are you paying for it? Of course you are.”
Other right-wing influencers advanced the argument. “The weather can and is being manipulated,” Georgia Republican Party official Kandiss Taylor posted to her nearly 60,000 X followers, adding: “[Georgia] voting has been compromised and don’t know if we will be able to get all our early voting days in. Now, a hurricane is coming straight for Florida. These two states are necessary for a Trump victory! No coincidence.” Taylor’s message has received more than 3 million views on X. The theories became popular enough in right-wing circles that Rep. Chuck Edwards (R-NC), who represents Asheville and most of western North Carolina (the area hit hardest by Helene), issued a press release on Tuesday to reassure his constituents of the falsity of various claims. Near the top of the list? “Nobody can control the weather,” he wrote. The statement, in its entirety, is a fascinating historical document — showing the types of claims that a Republican congressman felt he needed to fact-check in 2024, partially due to misinformation spread by his own colleagues and his party’s presidential candidate.
This piece in Wake Up To Politics by Gabe Fleisher is a must-read on the misinformation/disinformation crisis regarding Hurricanes Helene and Milton, thanks to Donald Trump and MAGA-aligned figures (especially in the right-wing media apparatus).

MMFA: On The Victory Channel's FlashPoint, pro-Trump prophets suggest Hurricanes Helene and Milton are “spiritual” and that “God did say in the prophecies that these storms would be sent to interrupt the flow of our election process”

Poe, I was delighted, nay, obsessed with the post you reblogged about Collapsed Coruscant. What do you think would happen there after everyone with any credits fucked off to Hosnian Prime or wherever?
Ha, hello friend! Thank you for the much-needed break from doomscrolling. XD
Tumblr media
My morbid obsession with Coruscant has always been around how we've seen it (it's so twisted! it just keeps burying itself, layer by layer! the iconic episode 10 Luthen&Lonni shot is of course an excellent example of the old mostly-forgotten infrastructure but my favorite glimpse of the depths is actually in the final Clone Wars season (there's a fucking lake! fucking what. and even THAT is like... so HIGH relative to the surface) (the SURFACE! there's some twisted remnant of a dead planet down there!) (I have gathered through the course of researching for a TBB fic that the TCW portrayal is largely born from a canceled video game called 1313? I think? Lost to the Dark Times the Disney I imagine. Anyway I digress)(MiniPoe just came down to tell me about his Sonic Encyclo-speedia and something about Metal Sonic getting too much backstory(?)(maybe?)so I lost my train of thought)).
BUT if we take a moment to imagine the infrastructure that must go into keeping the lower levels habitable (I'm not sure what the canon (if any) on how deep one can go) with food and water and air (I mean - AIR, at some depth surely it's just suffocating surely??) -
Side tangent there was an old EU novel in the New Jedi Order bonkers era where a mass evacuation of Coruscant/collapse of the government-ish happened and the novel Traitor has a character wandering the desolation of the planet and all the destruction and I don't remember a lot from it (there were def monsters though) but it's probably where my obsession was born.
Additional side tangent one of the EU X-wing novels has a fun little bit with a star destroyer buried (somehow??? these books were written pre-prequels, mind) under the city and it blasts its way free and just MAYHEM DESTRUCTION DEATH like millions of people just -
LAST side tangent in I thiiiiink the EU Jedi Academy trilogy (do not quote me on that) (also pre-prequels days) the Very Young Solo twins wandered off and ended up finding their way to the bottom of Coruscant where they met a dude who was like... a self-proclaimed king of the underworld (I think he'd once been some govt lackey under Palpatine maybe? I read these like 14 years ago lol) and he'd fled and was ruling happily in the depths and upon being informed 'oh hey yeah it's not like that anymore the Empire is gone you can come back up now' he was all "why would I I am a KING down here?" and just fucked off back to the basement.
Point being the EU was ridiculous as all fuck but it had fun playing with Coruscant before we had a Lucas-approved visual of Coruscant.
BUT if all the wealth up and fled Coruscant after the Empire. Hm. I mean, we still see a significant govt presence on the planet a handful of years later in Mando s3 I believe? So I like to imagine there was a sense of 'hey let's not murder trillions via negligence' but as time goes on and instability heightens and whatever the fuck First Order schisming or some shit (sorry I'm the worst sort of Star Wars fan (the type who thinks Star Wars would be good if only it were good))-
I feel like Coruscant would actually become a bastion (lol (no one gets that joke probably)) for remaining (wealthy) Imperial ideologues. Like - maybe some money would flee but I actually wonder if plenty wouldn't move in and continue enjoying living atop all the poor denizens of the depths. Content to live in the shadow of former Imperial glory and leave the New Republic to its rebuilding.
Ensuing power struggle with underworld warlord sorts who have been moving up since the Empire was yeeted? Waiting until the New Republic gets bored rehabilitating the galaxy to come all the way up and claim the prime real estate?
Eventual massive division and power struggle among a bunch of chaos factions, basically, is my proposal. Eventually, winning becomes more important than maintaining the infrastructure and supply lines. Eventually, maybe, the vicious competition for said supply lines ends up severing them altogether. Plenty of safer business to pursue, in the galactic rebuilding. Coruscant slowly fades from the greater galactic awareness. Left to its madness. Left to tear itself apart. Left to rot. Eventually left, undoubtedly, by many of the same sorts who set it on its slow death spiral in the first place.
Coruscant eventually goes dark.
Coruscant eventually goes quiet.
Every new level constructed through the millennia was, of course, built to be the best, the top, built to last.
How strange to finally have one emerge the victor, standing proud atop a dead city.
But the planet is just the same thing it always was, far back as history remembers - a tomb at the heart of the galaxy.

|| My Kind of Crazy: 2 ||
Tumblr media
(Sorry for taking so long for Part 2!)
Part 2: Tension (mostly Sexual, Totally diagnosed by a Real licensed Therapist.)
The Squad mount up in the Helicopter and all are strapped down and in, Red Sits between Harley and Boomerang and Flag waits. Someone else finally arrives as well, a woman. Dawning a mask and a mysterious katana.
“You're late. This is Katana. She's got my back. She can cut all of you in half with one sword stroke, just like mowing the lawn. I would advise not getting killed by her. Her sword traps the souls of its victims.” He explains, Red Hood eyes the woman, Harley extends her hand.
“Harley Quinn. Nice to meet ya. Love your perfume. What is that? The stench of death?” She smiled, Katana turned to Flag and sat next to him.
“She seems nice. Harley whispers to Red Hood, who tries to ignore Harley. Harley turns around and looks out the window.
“Ooh. Look at the pretty lights! Are you guys seeing this?” She said, Red Hood decides why not and also looks, it was black clouds, gathering nearby a square and lighting surging through it, this was bad.. very bad.
“What happened?” Deadshot turned to Flag.
“Terror attack. Dirty bombs, bad guys shooting up the place with AKs. You know, usual shit.” He said, but Flint can see though the lie, and they argue.
“Right. Yeah, you're a bad liar. I don't know if they told you, but I'm a hitman. I'm not a fireman. I don't save people.” Flint shrugs and Flag calls him out.
“Anything for a dollar, right?”
“You know the dark places, too. Don't act like you don't.”
“I'm a soldier! And you're a serial killer who takes credit cards. When the shooting starts, and it will, you'll cut and run.” Flag glares at Deadshot, Red Hood turned back to his seat. “That isn’t a terrorist attack.. you’re probably a good soldier, terrible liar.”
Bullets tear though their hull, someone down on the ground fires at them, killing the pilot and forcing the helicopter to spiral.
“Six-one is going down. Six-one is going down hard!” The vehicle crashes and begins to flip, Red Grips the seat and holds himself tight. The helicopter finally halts down and the second carrier lands and soldier flood put to assist the living crew. The S.S and Flag somehow survive with minimal damage. Red Dusts himself off and looks around, city’s evacuated. This definitely isn’t a terrorist attack, something much darker is happening.
They begin to walk though the empty street, Red taking long looks around to figure out what’s going on, before he can, he hears shouting from behind. Turning around he gripped his pistols and watched as Katana Held Boomerang by her sword, Slipknot trying to grapple and rappel away. Flag shook his head and tapped the device on his wrist, and Slips head went splat, exploding. His corpse hangs on one of his grappling hooks. A grim reminder of just how quickly his life can end.
“You wanna keep playing the Hollywood Squares version of "I'll Blow Your Fuckin Head Off"?” Flag looks at the other inmates, all silent. “You next, Deadshot?” Flags attention turns to Deadshot, who points at him. “You just threatened me? Oh, yeah. He just threatened me.”
They all continue to walk. Deadshot, Red Hood and Harley in a trio.
“All right, I'm gonna kill him.” Deadshot grumbled.
“Well, you better make it quick 'cause he's gonna kill all of us one by one.” Harley adds in.
“I'm gonna drop him, the sword lady, five or seven of these SEALs. After that, I'm gonna need some help. You down?” He asked, and Red cuts him off. “Ain’t gonna work.”
“Why not?” Deadshot replies, Red Rubs the chin of his mask Coyly. “Well.. if only had to guess, Waller isn’t the type to leave well enough alone. You kill Flag and make a break for it, she’ll probably pop your head before you reach a block. She probably has a detonator too. Watching our every move. Red Hood explained, and Deadshot stopped him from walking further.
“You seem real calm, like you already got a plan..”
“I do.. If the HVT is who I think it is, we just have to bide our time. Keep your head on your shoulders and you’ll be fine. But I can’t say that for everyone.” Red picks up the pace and walks, they cut to another block and down a collapsed street. Flag and his men move forward and take a firing line behind a police vehicle, The Squad post up behind them a few feet back, watching. Flag gives an order and a large portion of soldier split off into the alley nearby, leaving him and a few men.
“Hey. I like these odds, mate. You just say the word.” Boomerang eyes Deadshot
“Yeah, uh... Hold that thought.” Red Walks forward to see what they’re focusing on, using his helmet he activates detective mode, standing against Flags men was a soldier who looked, not human. His body oozing black liquid and his head now nothing but eyes, glaring.
“Hm.. Terrorists, right?” Red sarcastically asked Flag, who didn’t say anything. Deadshot approaches too, looking and whatever this was.
“The hell are they?”
“You cut and run, I'll blow your head off.” With a scream a chunk of the charge at the soldiers and squad and the red hood attacked, his duel pistols tearing through the stone like heads of the former soldiers. A trained soldier by Batman made easy work crushing them.
After pinning one down with a judo throw and planting a slug in their face, Red Looks up to see Flag being dragged off by four of the stone monsters, he aimed his handgun and was cut off by one dropping down onto him, his chest clams against the hard asphalt, before Red can counter, a pair of sneakers was near his face, all he heard was a grunt, swing and stone hitting the ground. He pushed the dead soldier off him to Harley toying with her bat, she turns to Flag.
“Good riddance. Am I right?” She smirks at Red, who shook his head and loaded his pistol.
“He dies, we die!” He screamed, she rolls her eyes and the two storm over, laying fire and death on the stone soldiers. Flag looked up as they help him.
“Thanks—“ He starts
“Go Fuck yourself.” Red walks off, ready to lay more fire down. But he didn’t need to, he and many others watched Deadshot mow down soldier after soldier with pin point precision. Dropping the one at a time until they all lie there full of bullets. Deadshot drops down back to the crew, walking past Flag.
“That's how I cut and run.” Deadshot catches up to Harley and Red, as he leans against a car with his arms folded, watching Harley bash in the skull of whatever these monster soldiers were.
“Having fun?” He asked Sarcastically.
“Yeah.. good stress relief.. you should try it..” Harley smashes another head.
“No im good, trying to not be a full blown psychopath id rather just watch you go crazy.” He replies, Harley stoped mid swing and turned to him with a smile.
“Oh, you don’t want to smash heads in.. but there is something I know you can~” she mocked him, which had a flirtatious tone. She stopped her swinging and approached, leaning into his helmet slightly.
“Let me guess, you wear the mask as some type of symbol against the world that’s wronged you, and you do that… by killing bad guys?” She asked.
“I kill because heroes are too weak willed to put the dogs down.”
“But if you kill like they do, makes you just as bad.” Harley finds the perfect flaw in his logic.
“It makes the world a better place.” He retorts and Harley giggled, “A Sociopath with a Savior Complex, original.”
“I am nothing like any of you..” he thought, Harley can see the gears turning in his head. She smirked, and leaned in past his helmet. “Well.. if you want we can sneak away and you can show me just how different you are—“
“E-E-Excuse me?” He stammered slightly, Harley shrugged. “It seems like you have a lot of repressed sexual tension that you need to release, and I.. also might have ulterior motives but, a wins a win right?” Harley poked his chest, and she bats her psychotic eyes, she’s crazy, his type of crazy.
“Hey. Hey, come on.” Deadshot frowns, Harley moves away from (Y/n), who was trying to play it cool under his helmet. Harley kicks the corpse.
“What? I saw it move. See? It flinched. I think. Red agrees with me, right?” Harley kicks the corpse again, Red looked at the corpse in more detail and saw something that began to set more in motion, a dog tag. He shook his head and Approached Flag. “What are they?” He said, in a slight growl.
“I don't know.”
“Bullshit. We’re shooting soldiers, your soldiers.. aren’t we?” Red said, Flag for in the face of red who wasn’t backing down. And he heard Croc’s growl. Flag backs up and walks, “We got a job to do. We're moving.” Flag walks off and leaves Red to think, He shook off the cobwebs and follows, entering the building Red Made his way to the small desk, and checks the CCTV recordings to see nothing there. Boomerang laughs
“Whoo! Looks like we have a spot of luck, eh? Be a walk in the park. Easy peasy.”
“Stop talking” Red Grumbled, he looked up to the sound of dinging, as Harley takes the one working elevator. “Son of a…” they rush up the stairs, they await at the end for Harley, the door opens to her just fine, with dead stone soldiers at her feet. She smiled, and stepped out without a scratch. They kick open the door to the office and from the ceiling soldiers drop though it, another firefight breaks out, and Red begins to notice a pattern. Specifically flag.
Their focus on him makes this story more and more complicated. As the bullets settle, the group make their way up via a flight of stars, Red followed behind slowly, and Harley looks over the railing her eyes hazy, lost, devoid of love. Red Approached from behind.
“Harley?” He asked confused, she turned and drew her handgun, the magnum aimed right at his head. He didn’t flinch, he didn’t feel fear
“… Have you ever been in love?” She asked, sad, the question actually caught him off guard. Red saw flashes of someone in his life, just for a moment.
“I did.. once, not anymore..I don’t think I can love.” He admits.
“Bullshit.. it, has to still be in there, somewhere. What changed?” And asked, and a single manic laugh ringed in his ear.
“Joker..” he said with such scorn and evil, he gripped his gun. “That’s what changed… I don’t have the innocence to love anymore. Do you?” He walked past Harley.
“I wish I do.” She replies. Red turned around and looked at her, “You really love him.. don’t you? You’re a victim.” He turned back and went up the stairs, with, pity on his heart. They go to a large floor and a door beyond it. Before they can go in, Flag turns to them.
“Wait here, Please. I don’t want to give this dude a heart attack, okay?” Flag walks to the door and with caution, enters.
“Aww he’s embarrassed of us.” Harley jokes, but Red Hood turned to Deadshot.
“Remember when I said about the HVT? You want a chance to escape, it’s through that door.” Red Points to the door, and Deadshot approaches, as if to expect some evil monster, what he got.. was much worse.

Udder Shame - 4
The intel was wrong. It had said the underground warehouse was a weapons factory but there was not a weapon in sight, save for the few guards they had neutralized. When Jazz had received his orders, it had sounded like Command had hopes recovering caches of weapons. Above them, the city was a bombed out ruin. Megatron was already blaming the Autobots for the bombing of Vos and Tarn but Jazz knew full well, having watched the missiles launch, that it had been an act of mutual destruction between the two Decepticon states. The Winglord Aerie had been the primary target of the Tarnian rockets. With their Lord dead, the Seekers had scattered, mostly in the direction of Kaon. They had left their secret factories all but unguarded.
“Mooo,” the cry echoed, stall after all.
Jazz frowned as he peered over the wall and saw a strange bovinoid strapped to a weird benches as a machine milked it even as the large canister attached the milker overflowed. The beast’s belly was huge. Fins on its back twitched. It shook as machine behind the bench pumped fall spikes into its aft and valve. Transfluids pooled on the straw under the bench, along with the spilled cream. A funnel strained the creature’s mouth as a slurry was poured down its throat. What sort of operation was this? Was it the reason the Decepticons had not suffered the fuel shortages the Autobots had? In the stall next store, the same scenario played out. There were empty stalls suggesting there had been an attempt to evacuate the mechanimals but they had run out of time. He looked into the next stall and saw a bovinoid with a different coat pattern. Where the other two had yellow plating and colourful pelts, this one had silver plating and a mottled black and white pelt. It looked up at Jazz, optics growing wide. The sound it made around the funnel force fuelling it sounded like a sob. Its belly was also huge. There was a clear brand on its engorged udders. Energon leaked from its teats. The milker was knocked over on the floor.
“Get over here, Jazz,” Mirage called him. He jogged down the row of stalls, expecting Mirage to have found a treasure cache. When he turned the corner, he saw a large pen. It was full of smaller bovinoids. They toddled around on two legs, looking distinctly mechanoid.
“What the frag is this?” Jazz asked. Mirage shook his helm.
“I don’t know.” A little bovinoid pushed up on two legs and toddled over to the side of the pen and looked up at him with big blue optics. Jazz hoped the fence.
“Hi Sweetspark,” Jazz cooed. He lifted the little thing up and took a look at the tag in her floppy audio.
“Moooo,” she cooed back. It felt eerily like holding the Twins. He turned to hand the calf to Mirage. There was a bellow at his back.
“Watch out, Jazz!” Mirage called.
Bam! Jazz was barely able to keep from crushing the calf when he was knocked off his peds. He got halfway up when he got rammed again. This calf was considerably bigger than the others and snorting like a bull. It had a good set of horns growing on his helm. Mooing happily, the little one butted Jazz’s chassis with its helm. Jazz could almost hear it as laughter. It crawled onto his chassis mooing happily, like it was some sort of a game. Hearing a snort, Jazz raised his helm to see the older calf inch forward. It reached for the little one with strange servos. They looked more like hooves but the there was more mobility in the three digits than their would have been in a hoof. The little one nuzzled the big calf as they retreated into the small crowd of calves.
“Are you okay Jazz?” Mirage asked.
“Got any energon goodies, Raj?” Jazz asked as he stood up and brushed himself off. The mangers were all empty. When had the calves last fuelled?
“Sure,” Mirage tossed him a bag. “What are you thinking?”
“‘M thinkin’ I need to make friends,” Jazz replied. He took out a goodie and held it out. “It’s okay, Sweetspark. Yer just protectin’ all the bitties, right? Bet yer all hungry.”
“Moo,” the oldest calf sniffed the air. The other calves mooed with audible urgency.
“It’s okay,” Jazz said. “Ya can hand them out. Here, take the bag, Sweetspark.”
“What is going on Jazz?” Mirage asked. The calf took the bag with blunt digits and reached inside. It gave a goodie to the calf it had rescued from Jazz.
“A mechanimal, wouldn’t share like this,” Jazz said.
He spotted slots for bottles. There was a large canister and rows of empty bottles. Though the dawning horror made him physically ill, there was an urgent need to fuel these little ones. Jazz filled the bottles and pushed them into the slots. The calves were familiar with the exercise and rushed over, kneeling on the floor and suckling hungrily on the bottles’ nipples. The oldest of them watched with suspicion. It did not seem like there was a bottle for him. Too old then to still be on an ori’s energon? Though he had no goodies left, Jazz had a ration, he opened it and offered it to the calf. It canted its helm, Jazz took a sip, showing it out to fuel, and then gave it to the calf, who copied him perfectly, adapting for his elongated snout.
“What the frag is all this?” Jazz asked. He saw the tag on the older calf’s audio and saw the same lead numbers as the little one he had tried to remove. “That yer sibling?”
“Moo,” the calf said. He nodded his helm.
“Holy frag,” Mirage cursed.
“Watch’em,” Jazz ordered.
Jazz ran to the office he had passed before finding the stalls. Like he had noted when he had first found it, someone had taken the time to clear most of it out. He turned on the work station and easily cracked the encryption and started digging through the files. Most were expenses, with clear codes that covered utilities and fees. There were purchase orders and sale receipts. A number of these receipts were tagged with codes: 97031, 84703 and 21691. There was a video file saved with the title CCGTC and the codes he had seen on the receipts. He opened the file and jumped back when it auto played. Porn! A quick series of shots of the three bovinoids he had observed getting fragged by monstrous looking bulls crossed the screen before the title appeared. Cow Cops Get The Cream.
“What the frag?”
The image of a Praxian enforcer writing a ticket appeared. In the next imaged, he was strapped to a bench, begging for help as he was raped by the machine. With each passing nanoklik, his form changed until he was a fat, fuzzy bovinoid. The moos sounded like anguish when a huge bull appeared. Jazz turned off the video. They were not mechanimals. They were not an unknown frame type. They were mechs, Praxian mechs who had somehow been transformed into beasts. Jazz raced up and down the row of pens until he found an electrical panel and reading the list of breakers, cut power to the machine. He ran back now and pulled the funnel from the first mech’s throat. The fragging machine had retracted the falsespikes when it had shut down. Jazz kicked it over in a fit of anger.
“Y’re okay now,” Jazz told the mutilated Praxian as he helped him to the ground. The mech looked up at him with tears pouring from his blue optics. They stained his gold face plates. A loud bellow echoed. Jazz lifted his helm. “Everythings gonna be okay. I’m gonna check on that.”
“Run Jazz, run!” Ricochet yelled. The thunder of a stampede filled the air. Three massive mech-bovinoids chased aft his twin. He caught Jazz by the arm and pulled him a long. The bulls stopped at the pens. The trapped mech mooed, cries of fear. One bull ripped the door of a pen and ripped yanked the silver-faced victim from the bench he had been strapped to. Jazz saw the bulls spikes pressurize as the mech struggled. The bull lifted its victim’s leg up.
Bang! Bull and victim dropped. The mutilated Praxian shuffled away. Bang! Bang! Ricochet dropped the remaining bulls without hesitation. These had been mechs too once but even knowing that, they could not let these three be hurt. They were gravid, Jazz realized, and close he thought to emergence. He called all units to converge on this factory. Clearing all these mutilated victims was priority, Jazz did not ask HQ if they thought different. He did not want to know what High Brow would think. Siren and Hosehead helped the first bovinoid Praxian Jazz had found into the cargo hold. A check of the records Jazz had uncovered, said he was designated Nightbeat. He cried when Hosehead called him by his designation. Ricochet helped the one that was identified as Barricade along. He kept looking back at the last, the bovinoid Praxian was designated Prowl. Had they really been enforcers? What sort of sick game was all of this?
“Go on in,” Mirage herded the calves into the cargo hold with the adults.
The little one Jazz had rescues HF970... she, she was a female heifer, she ran to Prowl who looked at her with something between shock and horror. He let her nurse for his engorged wells. The older calf, BM970, Prowl’s bull calf as far as the records showed inched over. HC847 instinctively went to Barricade. Like Prowl, Barricade let the little one nurse. Almost every calf matched to one of rescued adults. Not all the adults had been Praxian, but the majority were. There was one calf that did not match to an adult. There was a lot of mooing, the captives perhaps communicating with each other in the only way they could. BM970 took the odd calf out from Jazz and gave him to his dam. Prowl put BM656 on his well and the little one latched.
“Ratchet’s gonna have a fit,” Ricochet said.
“Everyone o’em’s close to emergence,” Jazz said. “Maybe that’s why they were left.”
“Maybe the madmech behind the operation planned to come back for’em,” Ricochet said. “Medic Pharma...”
“Ratchet’s gonna have fifteen fits,” Jazz grimaced. “Get us outta here Raj.”

Here are my live notes that i typed out on the Sticker App while playing the game for the first time. - MAJOR SPOILERS -
They are slightly out of order because I was just jumping in typing wherever:
Holy shit it’s on TWO DISCS?!!?
Not me staring at the press any button screen for ages
I like that Neve is like Cassandra, your no 1
Davrin Rook bonded so fast because they were immediately thrown into a dragon battle together and it got really tough real quick
Did Gilhanain just say YOUR BLOOD KNOWS YOU’LL DIE HERE?
Absolutely loved bringing harding as the extra companion, she’s just so exasperated by it all
I do feel like the va tone didn’t always fit with certain more serious situations.
Staring at Solas in photomode, so mixed emotions, mostly exasperation.
So what was he doing at the strart? Putting evanuris in a stronger prison, then tearing down the veil, or? Because if he was just putting them in a new prison, and exlained himself to Varric non of this would be happening.
God damn, someone ask Morrigan about the fith blight, actually, is it even public record who journeyed with the Warden? Was it kept hush hush?
Can wardens still hear the calling if all the high dragons are awakend? Whos calling them in the deep roads?
I wonder if Davrin has a hard time talking about the elven god reveal because he has a special relationship with Halla and Ghilanain was the god of Halla?
Oh, why would we have Varric's shaving mirror?
Lucanis so fucking weird haha
Davrin - “Couldn’t have asked for a better day” Rook immediately, ungracefully slides down a cliff
Emmrich is making a mistake, why would he want to be immortal, like look at these three imortal clowns running around.
Ok so The Ancient Elves were spirits who took physical forms using the lyrium, which is the blood of the ancient titans, They became the first mages? This caused a war between the elves and the titans
I wish they had shown more of Emmrich getting her out of the fade, because that is his very specific skill, like all the attention Lucanis got about using the dagger, to cement Emrrich's role in all this, I wanna see him being a badass in a direct story point.
The Butcher was scarier than Elghanan, should not have been,
Elghanan should have been wayyyy scarier, less talking.
“The gods they give strength but all they ask in return is everything” dope
Literally fuck off no scene getting her out of the fade, her reacting to getting out, the grief? The Relief? Helo?
“Though Harding also told me” LMAO Emmrich
I feel like it makes more sense for Harding to sneak up on Ghillie, This is her moment, tragic because we’ve seen her whole journey. Harding saying should I take the shot’ at the start of the game then taking guaranteeing Ghilanains death with her simple bow and arrow. and to have this little dreamless thing, created out of the desicrated titans be the last thing she sees, fuck yes.
The first thing they did was retrieve all the bodies. They found Harding and Leliana and the Inquisitor brought her back to her village
Solas: How did you even get out of the fade? Rook: gestures vaguely to Emmrich standing behind her ‘He knows more about the fade than you.'
I wish there was a bit more dialogue with Dorian at the end, saying ‘Do it for Varric and or Harding, won’t you? They were just so…oh, you…know...’
Taash everyone I loves dies NONONO I love you!
‘Everything dies, its what they do’ Including imortal gods
Is solas fucking losing??? fucks sake cant even do one thing
Solas assisting the Shadow Dragons at the end paint a funny picture, like, imaging Dorain trying to evacuate the city and Solas is just also there, after like 10 years. How did that reunion go?
It had to be bellara that got blighted, those gods were hers, that history is hers, and she's just so innocent, it was a great character arc
me the whole time 'its fine just go grey warden'
Shaved her head after coming out the fade to feel something
What if it’s not enough? What if it is?
I really though time travel was going to be a thing, after the dorian stuff?
Leo represent my Inky because in my AU she is too weak to travel as the mark is still sucking the life out of her, arm or no arm, but she dragged her ass up for that final scene with Solas. Leli and Josie spread a misinformation campaign around thedas, so unless you meet them directly its really hard to know if Inky is a female Elf, Male Human, and whoever else.
I hope Morrigan is ok

The Ocean City's Head of Security
Tumblr media
Imagine being Ocean City's head of security. You are its ruthless techno-organic protector, and responsible for Kicker's and Ironhide's training when Optimus places them under your care.
(Author note: I decided to check out Transformers Energon. It had a good first episode but the rest of the storyline felt like a hay fewer crack joke. However, it gave me this idea.)
Warnings: gn neutral reader, mentions of reader having been married, some angst, having a child, being Kicker's and Ironhide's babysitter, some bots being afraid of reader, and reader being a ruthless trainer.
---------------------------------------
- You oversaw and maintained Ocean City’s defense systems and overall security. It was a simple job, but good enough for you. After the war, you wanted nothing to do with field missions and raise your five-year-old daughter in a safe environment.
- Optimus, who had been supportive and understanding of your decision, helped you get assigned to this job. You were grateful because as a techno-organic, there were not many places you could belong and after the unfortunate passing of your wife, you decided to make Ocean City your new home for you and your daughter.
- The human and cybertronian citizens of Ocean City held great respect for you. You were technically a war hero due to your contributions to the war and they felt safe because they knew about your fierce reputation, which meant no Decepticon would dare to attack Ocean City as long as you were there.
- You were strict about rules and regulations. However, you were lenient and kind toward people. It was mostly thanks to your wife, who was the one to help you find humanity within yourself and care for those who can’t protect themselves.
- As a techno-organic, you were taller than the other humans. Most people would barely reach your hips. You were even taller than the minicons. Your body was made out of metal and you had a visible power core in your chest, where your heart used to be. It allowed you to be stronger and faster than any human, and as durable as cybertronian. You possessed many abilities due to the energon in your veins and you had built-in blades, which you rarely used unless in emergencies.
- You have an armor that you decided to store away after the war. You saw no need for it but had it at your disposal in case there was a serious attack and close combat was imminent. There were still some Decepticons who did not accept their defeat in the war.
- You hoped there would be no need for it as it was one of the last things you had from your creators, the Quintessons, who were long gone but couldn't throw it away due to its importance in battles.
- After the war you wanted to store it away, and took the name your wife gave you, as your original name was also given by your creators and which you associated with war and your reputation. You wanted to leave them behind and have a new beginning.
- When the Terrorcons came and attacked, you knew something was going on as you could sense the essence that was similar to your creators. You told Optimus and together with the rest of the Autobots figured out the attack had something to do with Unicron, though, the identity of the one in charge was still unclear.
- You stayed behind when the evacuation order was given, due to your position as the head of security and reluctance to abandon your home. Optimus did not put any protest though he was worried about your daughter staying behind as well. You assured him she would be safe with you in the city. You had safety protocols and you knew all the escape routes incase something happened.
- When Optimus asked you to train Kicker and the Autobot rookie Ironhide, you agreed as it was important to have capable soldiers in the field.
- You knew Kicker well as you were friends with his family. He was hot-headed and had a problem with Cybertronians. You found nothing wrong with his opinion as everyone had the right to their own views. However, his problem with following orders had often led him into life-threatening situations and his overconfidence made him more of a burden on the battlefield even with the suit his father provided him.
- You did know much about Ironhide, but from a short encounter, you knew he was inexperienced and constantly sought approval from his peers. He was also just as hot-headed as Kicker so perhaps that’s why Optimus assigned them together.
- They were not very pleased after hearing you would be training them. Kicker was certain he was capable of watching over himself and Ironhide complained that he was already trained in combat.
- So, upon their first training day, you pointed out their flaws and ensured you were not to be taken lightly.
- You offered them a challenge. If they manage to beat you in a fight, then you will allow them to join as many missions as they like. If they fail, they will have to attend your training sessions without complaint and you will be more ruthless than on.
- The pair accepted it without hesitation. They were confident and they were clearly underestimating you — a big mistake.
- The fight didn’t last long. You evaded and blocked their every attack while pointing out the faults in their fighting style. They did not even try to work together, they threw more insults at each other than fists toward you. It was like a pair of kids were trying to fight you. Ironhide was clearly unaware of your strength because he was shocked when you easily threw him against the wall. You then used your abilities to make clones of yourself to surround Kicker which caused him to complain about fairness.
- You reminded him never to rely on his opponents to be fair in the fight. He then tried to attack and you easily kicked him against the wall. You didn’t need to worry about injuring him as his suit protected him enough. You then gave him a fright when you charged at him and pushed your blade against his neck.
- The pair were shaking with fear at the sight of your weapon. You then retracted your blade back into your arm and declared that they had failed the challenge.
- You pointed out their flaws again and called them a pair of ‘Doofuses’ before declaring the end of the session and seeing them on the next one.
- The two became afraid of you, and disgruntledly attended your training sessions because otherwise they couldn't join Optimus and the other Autobots on their missions.
- Your training sessions were ruthless and they did a lot of complaining even if the tasks you gave them were simple. They were challenging to work with, but you were determined to improve their fighting skills, and abilities to work as a team, and help them grow as people.
- It took a few months before you started seeing improvement. Kicker finally saw the importance of following orders and being aware of his own capabilities. Ironhide became more confident in himself. Most importantly, the two knew how to work as a team together and with the other Autobots.
- They even began to respect you and sometimes sought guidance from you. You were no longer the heartless stuck-up trainer they saw you as at the beginning of their training.
- Alongside their training, you ensured the safety of the Ocean City, which allowed Optimus to take more field missions and concern himself with other things. He was aware of your capabilities, so he had full faith that Ocean City would be safe under your watch.
- It was not challenging, but with most people gone. You had extra tasks of making sure the place stayed clean with cleaner droids and the Omnicons were able to work in peace. It was time taking, but luckily you had your trusty owl-minicon, Claw, to assist you with those tasks.
- You have a peculiar friendship with Demolisher. Even though he still wore the Decepticon badge and was put often on door guard duty, you made an effort to treat him with respect and decency. You even sometimes included him in simple activities like taking walks together, having lunch, and sometimes even inviting him on movie nights with you and your daughter.
- He was first put off by this. He was aware of your former reputation so he was afraid of you. However, when you continued inviting him to these simple activities and sometimes made a  casual conversation during maintenance checkups, he kinda began to look forward to them and got used to you and your daughter.
- He was especially taken aback when you later checked on the status of his friend who was placed on the Lunar City after a Terrorcon attack, since the Autobots did not have time to do so, and assured him that his friend was alright.
- He did not want to admit it, but you treated him better than the Autobots, who still mistrusted him due to his association with the Decepticons. He did not trust them either but you and your daughter made it somewhat tolerable.
- Your daughter oddly liked him very much. Maybe because he was often in the city, so perhaps she was used to seeing him more. He was first scared since she was your adopted kid from your marriage, so that’s why he never dared to refuse your daughter when she wanted him to join tea parties or play dolls together. You assured him he did not need to be afraid or comply with your daughter’s requests. He did not know what else to make of it, he was not used to having a choice to say no when his superiors were involved.
- However, when one time your daughter decided to dress up like him for Halloween, having made a costume from cardboard that turned into a mini tank, he nearly had a spark attack because he thought it was cute.
- He might have then grown a soft spot for her and quietly enjoyed how he was her favorite unlike the Autobots.

He kept taking the cash from the assholes (and damn there were a lot of assholes near where he lived) messing with the residents who lived in the area. He kept accepting their offers of food. So because of this new routine that kept him able to afford to rent out his shitty (and possibly illegal) apartment and the hunger pangs sufficiently satisfied, rumors grew.

After being on the run from his parents and the government for a couple of months, moving from town to town, Danny ends up in Gotham City and decides to risk staying in Batman's territory. Danny Phantom, a somewhat established ruler of the Ghost Zone, has unwittingly acquired a baby.
And. Well. He can't exactly keep it in Pariah's Keep. He's no parent, not to mention the huge problem of how the air and sky destabilize human cellular structure. There has to be a way to prove that the man is safer than the home the baby comes from.
...But the man has his own ward.
Hm. Danny can exploit this. What's an assessment without a little test?

So, she decides she's going to go the one guy she knows exists in Gotham that will help a kid down on their luck no questions asked - Red Hood.

Everything was going to be just fine.

Quiet Corners of the Galaxy
Happy Bad Batch Eve! I'm obsessed with the new season but the content isn't coming out fast enough so I felt like I needed to write my own.
Tech's not dead and Crosshair rejoins the team partway through Season 2 after Mayday's death rather than being imprisoned by the Empire, but this is otherwise canon-compliant. No Season 3 spoilers.
Fic Summary: While on a routine mission for Cid, the Bad Batch encounter a woman fleeing from the Empire. Crosshair suspects her seemingly free-spirited, nomadic existence is actually a cover for something else, but struggles to keep his attraction toward her in check as their personalities and ideals clash.
Chapters posted 1-2x weekly!
Chapter One
“We will be landing on the outskirts of the city ruins shortly. Scanners indicate that it is abandoned, but there is an Imperial outpost located ten klicks East, in the next valley over. This should be a relatively simple operation: make our way to the city center, locate the cargo, and return to the Marauder.” Tech was at the controls of the ship as usual, setting them down in an open, overgrown area where the ruins of the city—little more than rubble and scrap now, haphazardly heaped stoneworks and scorched earth where once there had been homes, streets, marketplaces—were fewer and further between. The remaining members of the squad did their final checks of their equipment, adjusting armor and securing weapons as the hatch hissed open. Wrecker was the first out.
“Woah. What happened here?” The largest member of the squad looked around incredulously. The destruction was not recent; a thick layer of soot, grime, and overgrown weeds was evidence of the neglect that the ruins had been left to. It did not seem that anyone was deeply interested in rebuilding.
Tech had the answer, as always. “A particularly destructive battle toward the end of the war. The city was occupied by Separatist forces. Citizens who were unable to evacuate before the droids moved in were held in a makeshift camp on the North side of town. Luckily, this means that many of them made it out alive once the Republic regained the territory. Their homes…were less lucky.”
Crosshair, Hunter, and Echo followed the pair down the ramp. “What cargo could there even be left to recover in all this?” Crosshair asked skeptically. His voice, as usual, dripped equal parts disdain and boredom.
“Cid’s intel says mostly expensive droid parts,” Echo intervened. “The town had a factory. When the Separatists occupied it, they planned to begin shipping the parts off-world to help with production of their army. The Republic moved in too quickly for them; the factory was destroyed, but the crates were being housed underground awaiting cataloging. As far as Cid’s source knows, they’re still there.”
Hunter looked thoughtful. “Anything to worry about with that Imperial outpost, Tech?”
“Doubtful,” the other replied, examining his datapad. “The cargo is not significant enough to merit their attention, and forces are largely dedicated to patrolling a nearby spaceport, where it would seem most of the refugees have relocated.”
Hunter nodded seriously. “Alright then. Crosshair, get a good vantage point on the hilltop where you can keep an eye on us and any activity from the outpost coming our way. Everybody else, let’s locate that cargo.”
Their forces divided, the rest of the squad beginning to pick their way among the ruins toward the city center, while the slender sniper hiked in the opposite direction. The hills were dotted with trees—not heavily forested, but enough cover for him to dig in and wait. Soon, he crested the peak, settling in at a good vantage point where he could watch the outpost in the middle distance through his scope. Activities at the facility were regular and rhythmic; troopers on patrol, units coming and going from the nearby spaceport. Nothing extraordinary.
“In position. All clear,” he reported over his comm.
“Acknowledged,” came Hunter’s reply. With any luck, the others would retrieve the cargo within a number of hours. He waited, patient and disinterested. He was good at waiting.
Some time later, his comm crackled to life again with a status update. “Cargo located.” It was his turn to acknowledge their progress. For a brief moment, he thought idly about whether he preferred missions like this one—smooth, uncomplicated, if a little boring—or those where everything seemed to go right to shit. At least, he smirked to himself wryly, the latter required more significant use of his skills.
When he heard the screeching sound of failing engines and saw the dark plume of smoke trailing behind the ship on its downward trajectory, all he could think was that the galaxy must have been listening in on him.
It crashed down northeast of his position, the impact of the wreckage echoing out across the valley. The response on his comm came through almost immediately.
“What the hell was that, Crosshair?”
“Downed Imperial shuttle. Drawing attention from the outpost now. Get moving.”
“Well, with any luck that’ll keep them occupied long enough for us to get outta here. Stay outta sight,” Hunter replied. Crosshair shifted his scope from the troopers mobilizing at the outpost toward the crash site, just in time to see a woman emerge from the ship, coughing in the smoke. He had expected a detachment of troopers to come stumbling from the wreckage, not a lone woman. She was human, silver haired, staring back at the shuttle with a look halfway between rage and despair. She slammed her fist against the ship’s hull in frustration, and he smirked a little as she winced, rubbing her hand in pain. She ducked back into the ship, emerging momentarily, pulling a poncho over her head as she strapped a blaster to her hip and pulled on a pack.
He scanned the area around her as she began marching south from the crash, glancing furtively in all directions. She was heading on a trajectory that would intersect any moment with two troopers on speeder bikes. She was moving too slowly, limping a little. This should be interesting, he thought dryly. He was sure the Empire were very welcoming to unauthorized crash landings of stolen shuttles near their facilities.
When the woman and the troopers came face to face, he could only imagine the dialogue accompanying the silent pageant he could see through his scope. The woman slowly raised both hands, throwing a flattering, charming smile at the troopers. She thought she could talk her way out of it, he reasoned. So the flash of the blaster bolt caught him by surprise when she snaked one of her hands behind her head, grabbing a concealed weapon off her shoulder, and fired off a shot.
“Is that blaster fire, Crosshair?!” Hunter demanded over the comm.
“Not mine,” he replied calmly.
“Then who?!”
The round had caught one of the troopers in the chest, toppling him off the speeder bike. The woman took advantage of the confusion to dive for cover behind a tree, exchanging fire with the remaining trooper. What she couldn’t see, of course, were the other half dozen Imperials making their way toward her position. Any moment now, she’d be surrounded.
“Status?” Crosshair queried over the comm.
“Making our way back to the Marauder.”
The woman managed to get a good shot in on the remaining trooper, and he toppled to the ground. However, just as she made a dash for the speeder bikes, two green bolts flashed by, wrecking her getaway vehicles and forcing her to dive once more, losing the smaller blaster. She recovered quickly, unholstering the larger piece at her hip and taking shots at the oncoming troopers as she ran for cover again. It was pointless, he thought. She didn’t stand much chance of escape, alone, on foot. Not this close to the outpost.
From his vantage point, he could see the troopers fanning out, boxing her in. She had the hillside to her back; the elevation would slow down her retreat, even if she could keep up enough cover fire to out-maneuver the speeder bikes. And—the only part that mattered to him—she ran the risk of drawing Imperial attention to the adjoining valley before they finished loading up the marauder.
However, before he could further consider the implications of her retreat, he saw her move to fire off another shot from around her cover. In the brief moment she was exposed, a blaster bolt from one of the troopers clipped her side, propelling her forcefully to the ground. She was close enough for him to hear her strangled cry at the hit, echoing out against across the valley. She scrabbled backwards in the dirt, blaster thrown out of reach. One of the troopers swung off his speeder bike, approaching her slowly as he took aim. They weren’t planning on taking her prisoner. He couldn’t hear whatever words they exchanged, just see the snarl on the woman’s face before her features calmed, peaceful, as she closed her eyes before the inevitable.
Crosshair dispatched the trooper closest to her, expertly, just before the Imperial could squeeze to pull the trigger. He followed it up with three more in rapid succession, the troopers falling dead before they could hope to locate the sniper’s position or find cover. The final two, he saw with some surprise, were caught off guard by the woman, who had managed to crawl over to her lost blaster in the confusion.
She was attempting to limp her way over to one of the abandoned speeder bikes when he caught up to her.
“Stay back,” she warned him, eyes glinting as she aimed her blaster at him.
“Are you even sure you could ride one of those things by yourself right now?” He drawled back at her.
“Of course I can,” she snapped. As if to prove it to him, she gripped the handle of the first one she came to with her left hand, knuckles white, right hand steady as she kept her blaster trained on his chest. She swung her leg and mounted the bike. He watched her grip on the handle loosen as the shock and pain caught up to her, her eyes rolling back in her head as she collapsed.

I'm really curious how can you make Rookie from Halo work... So can I ask for a romantic concept for him?
I will be focusing strictly on Rookie from Halo 3: ODST for this. Gotta love obsessive silent protagonist :)
Yandere! Rookie/Jonathan Doherty Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Overprotective behavior, Violence implied, Death mentioned, Injury, Blood, Guns (Halo is an FPS so-), One-sided relationship, Thoughts of forced affection, Dubious relationship.
Tumblr media
Can you really blame The Rookie for becoming so obsessive?
He wakes up in New Mombasa, the rain pouring hard upon his helmet.
His team is scattered, perhaps even dead.
He is left to find out what happened to them in the wet streets of New Mombasa.
Plus, the city is overrun by Covenant troops.
The Rookie may have found you hiding away in New Mombasa.
You're a civilian left behind in this concept, only armed with a pistol.
The Rookie can see the wounds and blood on your clothes/skin when he finds you.
You trust him when you see him, you can tell by his armor he's human.
He's no Spartan, but an ODST is still able to quickly adapt for survival.
He no doubt finds a first aid station nearby and gets to work on patching up your wounds.
Rookie's concern is primarily looking for an extraction point and where the rest of his team could be.
But as he looks at you shivering from the rain and slowly recovering from your wounds, part of him feels like he should keep an eye on you.
This makes the Rookie take you along with him, arming you with a gun you can use.
Despite you being armed he knows you're vulnerable.
He's armored, you aren't.
You both don't have shields, but one well placed shot would do more damage to you than him.
The Rookie encourages you both to travel in shadows.
The city itself is dark and the rain makes it hard to see.
This is used to your advantage.
Over time Rookie notices you open up to him.
He doesn't say much but listens to you when you talk.
Rookie is hard to read what he's thinking... due to the lack of speech and helmet.
I have a feeling ODST Yanderes are more comforting than Spartans as they feel more human.
Although Rookie is a poor example of this since he feels almost... emotionless at times.
However he does show he cares for you still, he isn't too cold.
He takes most of the hits, he listens to you, he acts empathetic.
You can't explain why it feels like he's staring though... might just be the helmet?
In reality... Rookie is staring because he feels attracted.
Another thing that sets Spartan yanderes such as John apart from ODSTs? Romantic attraction.
Rookie has no enhancements that dampen such feelings.
Which means he's still able to feel romantic attraction, like Buck.
Rookie finds himself falling for you, a civilian in his care.
He's determined to help you out of this mess, no matter what it takes.
Rookie is mostly focused on the task at hand.
But occasionally his thoughts wander back to you, thinking of what life with you could entail.
He really shouldn't since the war is still going.
You're a civilian, you should be evacuated like all the rest.
But as you get closer to the extraction point, his grip tightens on you.
He can't bring himself to see you go.
Even when he meets with Buck and Veronica, he is intent on not leaving without you.
Buck definitely teases Rookie, claiming he has a new partner.
Rookie doesn't mind, in fact he thinks of what it would be like to show you affection.
His feelings for you never dissipate.
In fact, even as you fly off with him in a Pelican, he still fantasized about being with you.
Maybe he should've pinned you to a wall in New Mombasa... kissed you... showed how much he adores you...
Rookie wants to find a way to express such feelings... but he isn't sure how.
He has desires but he has to wait for the right time.
He feels eventually you two will end up together.
He doesn't want anyone else to be beside you, after all he saved you.
Who else was supposed to protect you?
Even if he has to pull some strings... spill some blood... or break a few UNSC vows and rules...
Rookie plans to remain your savior, protector, and possible lover... even if you are a civilian.
Overall Yandere Type: Overprotective, Obsessive, Devoted, Deceptive, Delusional, Slightly possessive.
