Nope, they like croissants!

Well kind of.... They don't actually enjoy eating them, but the stargazer have some problems with eating as a whole. I'll explore that issue in the next 'out of orbit' chapter better, but for now accept this preview as an answer:

Isolated Stargazer trivia: The day after bonnie joined the party Siffrin nearly had a crisis cause what do you mean he has 4 team mates? He swore there was only 3?? He was so proud or learning all their names too?? The one he doesn't recognize sounds like a kid?? Are they one of his allies kids?? Would it be awkward to ask where a kid came from??? Are they even on a quest to save the world or is he misremembering this too? Cause they wouldn't bring a kid to fight the king right??

do you think aoi and teru are related?

Because of the Sumire is a Minamoto news? Nope. Pratically zero chances.

Sumire was sacrificed before having any kids, so she already has no direct connection to Teru or Aoi's lineage.

Could she have siblings that continued the lineage? Very very very likely no, for two big reasons: First, the manga treat Sumire like a bastard child not the child of an arranged marriage.

One of the main reasons the new timeline Teru and Aoi engagement happened was to 'keep a Kannagi close.' But how was sumire treated? She was given to the demon at a young age. So young even Sumire's rotten village call her a poor girl.

We know Sumire was happy to 'marry god' at age six. There was no resentment involved, they just wanted Sumire out of the picture. An arranged marriage would involve prestige, it would be a big deal, the child of an arranged marriage would NOT have been discarted to a demon as young as possible. People also never hint that they know Sumire is a Minamoto despite the ones who order Hakubo around being likely close or direct members of the Minamoto family.

As for reason 2, every child got sacrificed. Every child.

To the point that when they didn't had any more girls to throw in that pit, they threw in the boys.

I am possitive that even in this current arrangement with the new timeline Teru and Aoi, they aren't looking for children, they just want to keep the kannagi close in case they need to sacrifice her without much suspicion. (girls being sacrificed 100 years ago? No problem is tradition! But in modern times? Yikes, you can't do that in broad daylight)

That's why the old timeline (which was... relativaly stable before the yorishiros started breaking) had no teruaoi marriage, but the new timeline, that is implied to have no seven mysteries despite no.1 still being a god, and that has a mysterious dangerous house that has been killing people for many many years before aoi and teru were even born, does have aoi and teru married. (i do wonder if the akanes know about this though... I don't think the mom would agree to it if she knew, but idk what's up with the grandpa that suggested the marriage)

This isn't a "keep the bloodline strong" alliance of families. Is a "In case something goes horribly wrong we can throw this girl in a pit and keep peace for a few more years" kind of alliance.

Sumire wasn't suposed to be born. She is an exception. The narrative never acknowladge she is part Minamoto because she likely doesn't even know. The families don't want anyone to know.
