Mae Borowski and Katia Managan are literally the same character

both cats

both primarily incompetent despite having some skills

both troubled by mental illnesses

not a similarity, but a mirroring: they begin their stories in opposite places; Mae begins by coming back home after having left the outside world, Katia begins after moving away from home to the outside world

both are seemingly haunted by eldritch beings related to the trauma they experienced that caused the beginning of their stories (Mae coming back home due to not being able to cope with outside society/Katia fleeing from home due to her fear of royalty)

AND I FUCKING LOVE BOTH OF THEM.

So I just reached the end of the demo on Katia's route while trying to break up with her for her own good (debatably), and that certainly lead to a thing. As much as I love my girl, Astrid and the crazy stuff that seems to be going on with her parents, Book 3 seems to be shaping up to be Katia's game, at least from what's out.

She just wants MC to be happy :) Don't fight it.
