Ik each of the guy's timeline exists separately, but I would KILL to see them interact with each other in game.

They have such fun unique personalities and a OVA style patch that has them all in one place while MC tries to stop the chaos would be so funny.

Like! All Caleb thought this would be was a friendly barbeque night but then the fucking leader of Onychinus walks in with Wagyu beef and everyone's calling him Skye??? Should he... call the fleet? Sylus would notice the hawked eye colonel staring at him, if it wasn't for the damn Prince of Philos taking a nap on the lawn chair.

I'd wager they all know they truly are but have to pretend for MC's sake and act like they only know each other through MC. lmao

My guesses for the ghouls in the next episode

( see this post for context)

First and foremost, I'm going to assume that Kaito, Romeo, Zenji, and Jiro are out since they already participated in an inter-house mission.

Second, it would make sense that they'll pick one ghoul from each house (excluding one). I believe the main (irl) purpose of inter-house missions is to pad out the characters that tend to get somewhat neglected in their regular missions.

So that's the logic I'm going with (^-^) with a sprinkling of wish-fulfillment

Frosthiem

My Guess: Luca

My Reasoning: The last Frosthiem episode was very Jin and Tohma-centered AND we even got some Kaito "backstory". We haven't had much other than surface-level interactions with Luca throughout the other episodes. Also, I'm super obsessed with this man's life and family and I just want to know wtf is up with them

Vagastrom

My Guess: Sho

My Reasoning: MAINLY because it seems like they're trying to spread out who we get paired up with in each mission and last time we were with Leo for most of it. And we got Alan's backstory in the Vaga episode and tidbits of him in the Frosthiem episode. Sho is still kind of a mystery in terms of alignment and he's also pretty flirty in a super chill teasing kind of way. Plus that thing Alan said about Leo knowing how to act in certain situations feels like it was a setup for something and I hope this is it lol (also Frosthiem/Vagastrom drama with him and Luca)

Sinostra

My Guess: Ritsu

My Reasoning: Same as the last one. Romeo was automatically out and we spent most of the last episode with Taiga soooo it makes sense I guess

My Reasoning: Haru has been fucking everywhere it feels like. Genuinely it feels like he's one of the guys we know (or at least can infer) the most about. As much as I wish I could say Towa he's too much of a wild card to be put in a situation where his crush will have to be around a bunch of other guys. Especially if Ed is one of them. Like he straight up tried to poison Ren, possibly out of jealousy (look up Ren's Affinity lines if you don't know what I'm talking about) (and let's not forget the Ren/Sho one-sideded beef)

My Guess: Haku

My Reasoning: We got Subaru scraps last time and it ended with a cliffhanger, and honestly I doubt this is going to be the episode where they'll be like "Oh yeah BTW this is why he wanted those scissors 🤪". Plus why would they frame it like (yes I'm still on this shit) a dating show and not put one of the flirtiest ghouls in it?

My Reasoning: I really really REALLY wanted to say one of the other two but this is starting to feel like a "season finale" episode and Ed just has too much insight to NOT show up and stir the pot. That and if there's going to be SIX ghouls i don't think that would be something Rui would want to do (for curse reasons). Then again the yearning in this episode would be insane if they do go with him. As for Lyca, I think he's still too oblivious to his feelings for MC for him to be a viable choice here v(•_•)v

My Guess: This is the house that's getting left out.

My Reasoning: Yuri and Jiro cannot be separated for too long or else Jiro could die

Vagastrom and Jabberwock were sooooo hard for me for no reason other than me having to decide between who I WANTED to be there and who it would MAKE SENSE to be there. I think I made it work though.

Also, it occurred to me about halfway through how funny it would be if it was just all the Captains (sans Yuri, thats my call and I'm sticking to it) and it ended being like a pick your favorite house type of deal idk

literally just me rewatching the starhorns bits from today and being abnormal (beware is very long)

I literally cannot with the little "aura gets there, manages to say nothing but "hey" before they basically run to Asri and he runs to meet them because he can tell star is upset and they start BAWLING... AGAIN" like its so cute and sweet and I love them and someone needs to draw that, NOW. in my heart they are hugging. in my heart of hearts and soul of souls.

things I am a sucker for in hurt/comfort: "breathe with me", "you're safe here", aforementioned holding someone and they immediately start breaking down, <- all of which happened in stream today

Asri in the tiny chair is so funny to me. he cannot sit correctly. he is far too large. someone help that big man.

Also just... Aura :( my poor guy. nothing went well for them and they're already so stressed out because at that point they had no idea where vic was and their best friend and the only person they fully trust is comatose and people they thought they were friends with just yelled at them and someone who already was not nice to them threatened to literally cut their throat out because of something they did on accident

(just to be clear, I do get where the twins are coming from. Ev's identity should have been his information to share or not share and that's an incredibly violating thing. that and, without much knowledge about how the rest of the starbound world works, it probably isn't super safe to be trans everywhere. that and its just something deeply personal. all three of them (the twins and Aura) have had an incredibly emotionally taxing two weeks or so, but especially these past few days so its understandable that they're not handling their emotions in the best of ways)

(note how I said understandable, not completely excuseable. sort of a sidenote but while many have a hard time with the whole "even if you really like this character and this other character did something that hurt them, you should look at it from multiple sides and not write them off as a complete asshole" I have a hard time with the OPPOSITE side of being like "yeah these characters have reasons for what they did, but they were still acting like assholes and should be held responsible for their actions. you're allowed to be angry or upset with the characters for their choices while still having an understanding of their motivations". listen I just feel bad being angry at characters when I know why they did what they did. listen I have really high empathy I struggle bus. so yeah, do I get why the twins are so upset? oh 100% does it still make me a lil upset and a lil angry at them because Aura is my favorite ? yeah. and that's ok) (I'm also self aware to the point of looking at myself and being like... "honey... you're allowed to not like characters... you know that right?")

both of them saying how they don't have anyone waiting for them off-planet... so like both of their parents are probably dead/ maybe estranged (see my Asrickus theory) right?

"Vesper is an asshole" -Asri. I am EATING UP the bounty hunters/twins beef. and like, Aura and Romeo have directly interacted literally once, but I feel like the whole deal with Aura is gonna be a factor in the whole beef. maybe this peace is more fragile than we thought? idk, but I'm eating it anyway (also I need to see Asri go talk to them about it, I nEED it you don't understand the beef is IMMACULATE) (also I have no doubt that Romeo would probably be on board/on a similar page to asri if for nothing else but the fact that she is already in conflict with the twins.

"and she's not gonna kill you, I'm not gonna let that happen." I think the reason the sherbs didn't have like. active love interests/active love plots was because sherb knew they were too powerful. similarly to how hehay and them having characters who are gay for each other has taken the bound fandom in a CHOKEHOLD because their combined powers are just too much (Also similar vein to the last post I made about how I like the specific kind of protective Vic is about Aura because it is similar. Aura protection squad. them and the TBELT because most all of them were ready to square up)

"I just thought that if I did something for her she would be less mad at me" (sorry idk when this became line by line analysis but you clicked read more and you can stop whenever you want I'm not sorry you brought this upon yourself) but oh my Aura you and your people pleasing tendencies. Unfortunately people like Vesper are not so easily swayed, but star has no idea how people work. Star's only friend for a long time was a literal star. so you know. not human. they are trying this human interaction thing for like. basically the first time. they have a lot to learn (I use the term human very broadly. intelligent light forms more like)

I love that they go esplorin together. they are such lil esplorers and Aura has a bunch of fun places they want to show him and eventually Navi and that's so sweet. I am a SUCKER for when characters see another thing and immediately think of/want to show it to another character. I need to watch them go and show the other places I cry about it

A half-full glass of something amber in it held in his hand. He'd tip in the direction of he who so rudely interrupted him.

Bakugo’s voice whispered, filling the silence in the dorm kitchen. He was right, and usually you weren’t. You valued your sleep, often being one of the first in the class to call it a night. But tonight was different. Your thoughts, your heart, were restless. Despite following your nighttime routine, which was curated specifically to help you wind down and rest, you still found yourself tossing and turning. Not even your ocean sounds could help you drift to sleep. Thats why when Bakugo spoke, you sighed heavily and let your shoulders droop.

“Yeah. I know.”

He took a few steps toward you, leaning against the countertop. “So what’s got you awake?” You shrugged at him, watching the water in the electric kettle begin to form small bubbles. “Dunno…just can’t sleep I guess.” You looked over to him, taking soft note of his tired eyes and disheveled hair. “And you? You aren’t usually awake at this time either.” He shrugged right back at you. “Dunno…can’t sleep I guess” he echoed your words, and it made you smile just a bit.

You both knew why the other was awake, or at least you both had some inkling. Between how the ambush attack played out and Midoriya running away, neither of you have had time to really process all of what has gone on. You haven’t had time to think about how your lives had been flipped one eighty. But since Midoriya was back safe and sound, and there was no real information on the League or their next move, everything was at a standstill. That meant your brain was finally coming up to speed on what had gone on recently…and it was overwhelming. It felt like your mind was in over drive, thinking so many thoughts at once that it was causing you to lose sleep.

“…There’s a lot of water in this kettle. Would you like some tea?” Bakugo didn’t answer, just walked over to the mug cabinet and grabbed both of your designated mugs. Yours had your hero insignia, and he had his. It was Nezu’s Christmas gift for all of the hero course students. Bakugo opened the tea drawer, grabbing you each a packet of sleepytime zen tea before walking back over to you. You worked in silence then, enjoying each other’s company as you made your own cups.

Your relationship with Bakugo was unique. You admired him, even when he was a bit of an asshole at the beginning of the school year. You’ve enjoyed watching him grow and working beside him as a teammate. You were inspired by his tenacity and drive. You liked how smart and witty he was, and how he could be funny even when he didn’t realize it. It also didn’t hurt that he was actually pretty cute. And all of the same things went for you in his eyes. He admired your kindness and your courage. He was inspired by the way you had such a big heart but you were no push over, standing up to him when he got too rough with his words or during training. In his eyes, it was like you were one of the only people to give him a chance, getting to know him past his rough exterior. You two had gotten closer during the year, training and studying together sometimes. You began to sit next to him for lunch, stealing small pieces of chicken from his plate while he stole beef from yours. You were the only one with that privilege. Eventually, you became this unlabeled, unspoken thing. You didn’t have to confess your feelings because he knew, and you knew how he felt about you even if he’s never admitted it.

You softly sipped your tea, allowing the warm liquid to run down your throat and causing you to sigh. He stirred his own cup, watching the spoon go around and around. Technically, there was nothing else for you two to do in the kitchen. Technically, you could’ve parted ways right here and drank your own cups in your rooms. But you couldn’t bear to leave him. Deep down, you both didn’t want to be alone tonight.

“Bakugo?” He looked up as you said his name. “Could I sleep over in your room tonight? I don’t think I want to be alone”

All he did was scoff, pick up his mug and began walking towards the staircase. When he realized you weren’t following, he scowled and turned to look at you.

“Let’s go brat. I’m missing out on my beauty sleep”
