The Mystery Trio aren't having a very good time, unfortunately. I'm sure it will all come out all right.

This is a sequel to a piece I did way back in 2017, an Over The Garden Wall crossover called "Wandered into the Wrong Woods". When I reblogged it earlier in the month I thought about returning to the idea, and this is what came to me; seemed sufficiently spooky. (I think I should have done a more vertical layout so that the Beast could have loomed a bit more.)

What's the story here? Heck if I know! I've seen crossovers in the past that put Ford in the role of nearly becoming an edelwood tree (for obvious reasons), but the more I thought about it, the more it seemed fitting for Stan to take that role, and for Ford to have to step up and save him (well, with Fiddleford's help, of course).

Divine Explanations [part 1]

This is a follow-up from my previous post, and also an explanation of how this universe is going to work :D🎉

I'm still looking for a name for the AU but i'll figure it out. Eventually. BUT! for now I'm gonna refer to it as Beast!BillAU

Al principio los dos les caería MUY RARO, Bipper por qué se tomaría todo con humor y hasta halagarlo de forma NO IRÓNICA y Ice Finn tranquilamente lo mismo pero también agregando que realmente cree que es una buena persona

Al principio Hunter se resiste por qué ha estado evitando tener afecto por AÑOS en un intento de evadir la culpa, y no puede creer que alguien lo quiera por como está ahora actualmente. Esto hasta que finalmente cede, y una vez que acepto que eran sus amigos, ya no los va a dejar ir.

La dinámica del trio de Bad End Friends es simple, Bipper y Ice Finn son dos par de locos mientras que Beast Wirt es quien los mantiene bajo control y evitar que se metan en problemas:

Cosa que con Hunter NO pasa, pues si bien al principio les puede parecer igual a de serio que Beast Wirt, pronto se dan cuenta de que Hunter es MUY diferente a el, y más parecido a ellos, tiene la inestabilidad de Ice Finn pero una condición física muchas más parecida la de Bipper, quien solo es humano de cuerpo. Cómo resultado, tenemos esta dinámica:

Básicamente Hunter es como un hermano mayor irresponsable. Se da el lujo de ser caótico porque está rodeado de personas específicamente caóticas y se siente libre de expresar ese lado mórbido sin necesidad de lástima a alguien y quedarse solo a consecuencia de ello

Y claro, al Bipper y Ice Finn están acostumbrados a que Wirt sea quien termine dirigiendo todo, Hunter viene a aprovecharse de eso y tomar las riendas del grupo, también así para poder finalmente sentirse con algo de control en su vida. Básicamente le gusta tener el control, pero realmente le cae bien Bipper y Ice Finn, pero prefiere a Ice Finn ya que Bipper aveces hace comentarios desagradables sobre la linterna (Le dice que Greg no está ahí y lo llama loco) mientras Ice Finn está totalmente entregado a el y lo ve muy bien, cosa que a Hunter le gusta, le da la ilusión de que de alguna forma el sigue siendo... Normal.

Lit, estar en los Bad End Friends sería lo mejor que podría pasarle a Hunter, La Bestia hizo que viera a los humanos normales como nada más que leña para la linterna, pero en el grupo no hay nadie normal realmente, podría estar rodeado de gente que más o menos son similares a el y que hasta podría tener una verdadera relación. Es el único tipo de sociedad en el que podría encajar en este estado, sin necesidad de cambiar realmente.

Soooo… I got so distracted with a cringetober prompt I fell off and started a new project.

The them was crossover and so I have a set of two illustrations (including this one) of the Stan twins with their own teams! It’s been so fun! I also will include a sneak peak of Ford’s team as well!

It would make so much sense because Stockholm Syndrome and also the whole "Nerd goes over to a place with a cursed creature and makes a deal with said creature only to eventually fall in love with it" premise fits these two chucklefucks perfectly.

1. The Beast of Gravity Falls au, where on a stormy rainy night, an accident in the lab changes Stanford Pines in many ways.

2. Dragon Fruit anomaly au, Stanford Pines found a literal Dragon fruit that turns him into a dragon with a new purpose in life.

3. One pound at a time, a little sea grunks adventure where over the course of months of settling into a more normal routine, Stanford gains a few ponds.

4. A Miracle on Gopher Street, a little holiday adventure taking place in the Beast of Gravity Falls au. Just some fun holiday fun where tanks to the help of a friendly witch, Stanford becomes human for a few days and spends it with his brother (bring the tissues)

5. The old Wolf and the Pup, my first fic ever. Feature my OC Arthuria, it takes place on the Stan o War II and with the idea of WereStan (because i Love that old pup) scaring their little temporary passenger.
