Ghostknife Moments Masterlist!

hiii so i relistened to pd for the second time cause this hiatus has been killing me (jrwi crew take your time, i'm just weak.) so i created a little doc for all the ghostknife moments i encountered! it was just for me and my friends but i wanted to post it too because sometimes even i forget they were really that gay (and also it's pride month)! here's the link to the doc! but i'm also gonna post screenshots of it as well for easier access.

some tips for reading cause it was made for me to understand and not an audience: if there's a quote with no indication of who's talking, it's either will or vyncent (also let me know if i missed moments or if i can make it easier to read!!!)

main takeaway from certain fan reactions to the finale is this:

the final scene with ankarna was so meaningful to the bad kids' arcs and how they made peace with being wronged by people they loved, and if all you can focus on is that the rat grinders didn't get much screentime, then you don't love dimension20 and you don't love this world: you want to be playing your own hs themed dnd campaign and you're mad the oc versions of the rat grinders you made up in your head acted ooc. these are not your characters and this is not their story.

brought myself to tears thinking about luo binghe and his loneliness. during all the worst times of his life, he was alone. when his mother died, he had no one. when he was being abused on qing jing, he had ning yingying but there wasn't much she could do for him. in the abyss, he was alone. when he was grieving sqq for five years, he had subordinates but he didn't have anyone to hold him and comfort him

and it's that loneliness and isolation that xin mo capitalizes on. those feelings of loneliness and isolation make his self esteem worse and his emotional state more unstable, because deep down is a miserable and lonely child that wants to be held and comforted and love

luckily for him, all shen qingqiu wants is to hold him and comfort him and make him feel loved! I think post-canon, they'll spend a long time confronting those wounds left by loneliness, except now instead of having to bear it alone, sqq will be there to hold him in his arms and tell him I'm sorry you were hurting, I'm sorry you were alone, you never should have gone through that. and there's the promise that he won't ever have to be alone again because that's the promise sqq made to him. from now on, wherever binghe goes, shen qingqiu will follow

Not sure why but it is just now dawning on me that to Viren it truly had been just moments ago that he died when Claudia resurrected him judging how he was baffled at the idea of him being dead for two days. Let alone two years.

But that means to him it was just days ago that Soren ran away from him, a deep betrayal in his eyes.

Also, Laura during La Terreur is a well-fed Laura.

She didn't ideologically participate in the Revolution, but she loved the chaos and violence because it gave her a lot of place to hide. Any sightings of her were dismissed and corpses littered the streets. She ate a lot in that period (which helped her recover from her wound) by eating the decapitated/hanged bodies all around and snatching the leftovers. She still knows the original revolutionary songs by heart in 1999.
