An apple a day...
21st January 2021
Dr. Mikhail Varshavski, or how many people know him - Doctor Mike, is a famous succesful physician and an influencer making money out of his YouTube videos etc. Still taking a bit of his time to examine patients between his videos and interviews.
But today an elderly patient was suppse to come for a visit. Mikhail decided to make it a tv spot where the satisfied patient would come to the hospital and thanked him for treating him.
The patient's name was Arnold Jefferson, a 71 year old man suffering many conditions, such as diabetes, arthritis, hypertension and many many more. Quite common in older people.
Mr. Jefferson arrived an unaware of the upcoming spotilight was greeted by am assistant and led to a room with cameras.
Mr. Jefferson:"I was supposed to come for a vistit with Dr. Varshavski."
Assistant:"Doctor Mike wants to speak to you in front of the camera if that's ok? I am sure you have already signed multiple forms considering your privacy, while in his care. So we won't keep you long and I will go get doctor Mike."
Mr. Jefferson looked around confused. He came for a one on one dialogue, not an interview. He had no interest in all of this.
Docotr Mike arrived to the room. His hair ready, wearing his best scrubs that were ironed that day.
Mikhail:"Good morning, Mr. Jefferson. How are we feeling today?"
Mr. Jefferson:"Good morning. I.. well just as I normally do." he spoke nervously, looking at the cameras and the crew.
Mikhail spoke loudly for the microphone above them to hear and smiled way more than usual. "Amazing. We will do a standard check up and then we will take a look at your blood tests together. Is that ok?"
Mr. Jefferson nodded and was then examined in front of the camera. But they also did many photos where they were wearing masks and touched each other with elbows just to prove how safe they were while handling the ongoing pandemic.
He felt uncomfortable. "Could I please be examined alone for the part where I get to undress?"
The smile from doctor Mike's face disappeared. "Sure. Yeah. Can all of you from the crew go and take 5? Thank you. We will finish with Mr. Jefferson quickly.
The crew left and Dr. Mike was left alone with the patient.
Mr. Jefferson:"You complicated things for me, you know? I would have done this much sooner."
Doctor Mike had his stethoscope in his ears listening to Mr. Jefferson's heart. "What do you mean by that?" he said confused by what the patient said.
Mr. Jefferson placed his hands on Dr. Mike's head. "This". Flashes of lights shined between the two of them. Mikhail wanted to run away, but the force from Mr. Jefferson's hands was so strong. He couldn't let go.
Mikhail's eyes closed by themselves. He didn't see anything.
The first thing he saw as he opened his eyes was his reflection. Nothing unusual. He saw his face everyday in the mirror. But he felt anxious as soon as his body started moving on his own and flexed.
His body spoke out loud:"Oh my. It feels great to be this young again. It seems you take a great care for your body, Mikhail. Or I should say Arnold now."
Mikhail was in disbelief. What was happening? Is this all real?. "What did you do to me?"
Arnold:"I didn't hear that question for a very long time now. It will be easier to show you." he handed him the mirror. In the reflection was the same old man that he trested seconds ago. He touched his face and the reflection did the same.
Mikhail:"How are you doing this?"
Arnold:"Couldn't tell you even if I wanted to. I am honestly not sure."
Mikhail:"Why me? I am a doctor. I am not someone you should steal life away from."
Arnold:"You almost answered your question. If I don't have the right to do that then why should you? Remember my wife you treated? How you misdiagnosed her?"
Mikhail:"This is medicine. Mistakes can happen. It's not an exact science. Sometimes we don't have the power to save everyone."
Arnold:"Maybe. But my wife was special, like me, you know. We did the same thing I just did for you for almost a century. But we fell in love with the life that these bodies had. The love they had for each other, the family. We even had a new young couple found to move over to, but you just had to fuck it up. So... let my face be a constant reminder of what you messed up."
Mikhail:"You can't do this. No one will believe you. Everyone will find out. I will tell them."
Arnold:"Yeah, not really my concern. Whenever one of you does this, they end up in a mental hospital. So I guess it's up to you now, if you want to finish the shooting quietly or get a quick ticket for mental hospital for the short rest of your life you have left. So what's it gonna be?"
They finished the spot and Mikhail in Arnold's body was escorted out of the hospital. He was old now. His body ached. Every step he took was like a needle. He was picked up by one of his family members. He had no idea who it was. His son? Grandson? Maybe they'll know more about the swapping. Maybe the clues will be inside the house. Or maybe none at all.
18th February 2021
Mikhail sat in his new arm chair and held a mug in his hands. It has been almost a month since he lost his body.
One of his grandsons played with a tablet next to him.
Mikhail:"What are you doing there, Joe?"
Joe:"You wouldn't understand, grandpa."
Mikhail:"Maybe I would. How about you show me?"
Joe gave him initial instructions he would normally give Arnold, but Mikhail already knew all of this and confidently asked for him to put up YouTube.
Joe was surprised that his grandpa now knew all this, but he did what grandpa asked him to do.
They found Doctor Mike's channel. There was only one new video from the last time that Mikhail has posted anything.
The video had a bad quality. The one who edited the video was definitely an amateur.
The name of the video was: Why I decided to quit medicine
Mikhail froze. His life was all about being in the medical field. And now Arnold ruined it all.
He played the video. Arnold seemed very happy with his new body, because he kept touching his arms, his pecs and hair even while talking about how unsatisfied he became while working as a doctor.
Mikhail took the tablet and searched for more information about his old body. He found information about a lawsuit for malpractice, that the new doctor Mike how faced.
But something kuch worse caught his attention. An Only Fans account.
Mikhail left the room with the tablet and his grandson screaming behind him. But he didn't care about that now. He opened the page and immediately subscribed while entering his credit card info.
The page unlocked.
Mikhail had tears in his eyes. There were videos of his old body pleasuring himself, embarassing himself, pleasuring others...
All of that for a bit of money from horny peopl, that wanted to see the famous doctor.
Mikhail decided to send a message that cost extra money.
He sat there for a while and thought about what it would say.
"Dear, doctor Mike. Or maybe you still remember your old name, Arnold. I wanted to say something mean about you ruining my life. But after watching the videos, I have to say I miss my body. Even though I would want it back I don't expect you'd give it like that for free. But maybe you could let me enjoy that body once again from someone else's view? What do you think? It might get a lot of views.
Sincerley,
Dr. Mike Arnold Jefferson"
On the other side of the screen sat Arnold in front of the computer, his dick hard. Reading the message from his old body.
"This might be interesting" he said, grinning mischievously.
Two woman called out behind him from the bed:"Coming to bed, honey?"
Arnold smiled and turned around. "Ready for round three?"

The whole interview for reference. It's got really nice characterisation!
Date of the interview: 07 January 2015 (This is when season 1 episode 35 "Lion 3: Straight to Video" was the latest episode out)
Newsarama: Hey Steven, thanks for talking to us!
Steven Universe: Happy to!
Nrama: Now, you're a little younger than who we usually talk to, so we wanted to make sure you had a parent or guardian present.
Steven:Yeah that’s cool! Here’s my dad!
Universe:Wow, I haven’t done an interview in ages! I’m Mr. Universe, uh, interstellar rock star! But it’s been a few decades since my last tour so I guess you can call me …Steven’s dad Greg!
Steven: Woo! Oh hey look, Pearl is coming over too. Hey Pearl!
Pearl of the Crystal Gems: Excuse me, excuse me, who are you and what exactly is going on here?
Greg: Newsarama’s doing an interview with us!
Pearl: I was asking this complete stranger, not you, Greg.
Nrama: …this is great! A rock star… and a rock from the stars!
Steven: Oh that's good!
Pearl: How much have you two told this human?
Greg: Don’t worry Pearl… this isn’t about Gems… it’s just about Steven.
Nrama: Okay, well, that brings me to my first question. Steven, you’re the first half human, half Crystal Gem, is that right?
Steven: Mmhm!
Pearl: Yes, he’s the son of the incomparable Rose Quartz! He’s inherited her Gem and her legacy.
Greg: …and I had a little to do with it! Uh… Steven… existing!
Nrama: Greg, I have to say, it's not every parent who'd let his son be trained by magical beings. Why do you feel it's important for Steven to live with the Gems?
Greg: I mean he’s got Rose’s Gem so… sooner or later we knew his powers might come out somehow, and I’m not much help in that department?
I mean, the Gems didn’t know much about raising a baby. That I get, I had that covered. But I don’t know much about being a Gem. They sure do, they’re really exceptional Gems. They’re really thoughtful, you know… they really try their best to understand people.
Pearl: Yes, people are wonderful.
Steven: Go people!
Nrama: And Pearl, I'm sure it must have been very unusual for you when you found out Rose Quartz had fallen in love with a human. What was what like for you?
Greg: Wow, you’re really zero to sixty with these questions, buddy.
Pearl: That is absolutely none of your business!
Nrama: Well, what about when you found out Rose Quartz was going to have a half-human child?
Pearl: Brilliant leaders do brilliant things, that’s why you look to them for answers, answers no one else could have, that’s why you trust them, even when you can’t understand why they chose …Greg.
Greg: Well, ahh, we were so excited to see who Steven would be! When we… well, when we figured out that it might be possible!
And there’s never been anyone like him, and he really is a Gem and a human at the same time, it’s just incredible.
Steven: Yeah, I’ve been training and a lot of my powers are coming out! I can bubble up really easy these days, and I can warp on my own, and for a little bit I could even heal people and stuff.
Pearl: Yes! He’s been doing fantastic!
Greg: And he’s got my knack for music too! It’s really something, it’s unreal, you should hear him play!
Nrama: Wow that’s exciting! So Steven, you’re really talented.
Steven: Yeah! I can draw too! I drew last year's Beachapalooza flier! Guess what I figured out – if you draw with a pencil but you draw really hard, you can smudge the line around with your finger and give everything really cool shading, and make shooting stars and comets… go look, the flier’s still up on the bulletin board at the Big Donut!
I want to get better at drawing… and I want to get better at my shield powers.
Nrama: You sound more excited about the flier than the shield powers!
Steven: Yeah, well, my flier came out really good and you can go see it! I’d show you my shield too, but I can’t make it come out whenever I want.
Pearl: Oh Steven, you’ll get it! You’ve manifested it twice!
Greg: Yeah I’ve seen him do it, it’s really something! He blocked this crazy water ball with it, and it gonged out all the water clones. It’s gorgeous, it’s Rose’s.
Steven: Thanks… yeah, I know I’ll get it… I’ve been practicing in the mornings! I just can’t seem to get it. Shield is harder than bubble I guess…
Nrama: Look, Steven, I didn't mean to make you self-conscious about your Gem abilities – besides, aside from all that, you seem like most other kids your age. Actually, it seems like you're pretty popular in Beach City!
Steven: Oh, I dunno about that! I just like talking to people, and then a lot of the time, they talk back! Ha!
Pearl: Human beings just adore each other, and Rose just adored human beings, so Steven is a real “people human,” as they say!
Greg: Heh… I think you mean “People person.”
Pearl: What? That can’t be right. That’s so redundant.
Nrama: So I have to ask – do you have any favorite comic books?
Steven: Oh man, me and Dad were going through all his old comics in the van! I got to keep a bunch of them, Casper, Richie Rich, Hot Stuff, Baby Huey, Spooky the Tuff Little Ghost… Wendy Witch…
Greg: I gave him lotsa Harvey Comics.
Steven: Dad says I can’t read his Heavy Metals till I’m older.
Greg: You can have those in a couple years!
Steven: Oh yeah and I just got the No Home Boys graphic novel adaptation! But I think it really missed the mark. And I like Sailor Moon. It’s really down to earth.
Nrama: And what's coming up for you?
Steven: I dunno, I guess anything could happen, that’s usually how it is! I met a new Gem recently, her name was Lapis Lazuli and she seemed really cool! She flew away to the Gem Homeworld!
Pearl: Steven, please. Look, stranger. There’s nothing to worry about. Earth is an independent planet, and Lapis Lazuli couldn’t possibly have made it all the way home.
Steven: What? Oh no, oh Pearl, you really think so?
Pearl: Or, well, Steven, I’m sure she did, yes, right, she definitely made it back, I’m sure she’s… having a really fun time… telling everyone… nothing!
Steven: … ok…
Greg: Hey! Hey, everything’s ok, whatever happens we can always roll with it, am I right?
Pearl: Yes, yes. We’ll roll! We are planning to roll.
Nrama: So, Steven – what is the best thing about being Steven Universe?
Steven: I get to be a Crystal Gem, and I learn a lot all the time, and hang out with Dad and with my friends …and everybody!
I’m changing a lot all the time, but that’s good, I think, since everybody changes all the time. I like it because even if you know somebody you can know them again, all the time, when they’re different, and what doesn’t change is how you feel, you know?
That can stay the same, which is really cool – like if you love somebody, that’s the thing that can stay the same no matter what.
Greg: Ah boy, gosh Steven, what a really nice thought.
Pearl: Oh Greg, can you believe it, sometimes he sounds just like …well …just like Steven.
Greg: Yeah. He’s really somethin’ else.
Nrama: Thanks again for talking to me!
Steven: You’re welcome! Crystal Gems forever!
Greg: Hey yeah thanks! Keep watching the skies! Haha hahaha… heh!
Pearl: No ah, please don’t! We’ll take care of everything. Stay safe, human!
in-character interview with newsarama by rebecca sugar, 2015
this official steven universe interview is no longer available on the website, but it’s archived!
it’s canon & written by rebecca sugar, an interview of the characters pearl, greg, & steven.
there’s some really sweet and subtle pearlrose moments, i particularly love this one:
steven: i'm changing a lot all the time, but that's good, i think, since everybody changes all the time. i like it because even if you know somebody, you can know them again, all the time, when they're different, & what doesn't change is how you feel, you know? that can stay the same, which is really cool. like if you love somebody, that's the thing that can stay the same no matter what.
greg: steven, what a really nice thought.
pearl: oh greg, can you believe it, sometimes he sounds just like—well, just like steven.
greg: yeah, he’s really something else.
pearl stops herself before she can say rose, because that would be quite awkward in the interview setting. she also says she trusts rose & calls her incomparable. there’s a bit of jealousy with greg, because the timeline is at around the beginning of the show, so pearl hasn’t really found closure yet & is questioning things. eventually she’ll understand that rose never chose a partner over her, but anyway! really cute & canon pearlrose here.

Sum of All 7
Warnings: non/dubcon, mentions of crime, and other dark elements. My username actually says you never asked for any of this.
My warnings are not exhaustive but be aware this is a dark fic and may include potentially triggering topics. Please use your common sense when consuming content. I am not responsible for your decisions.
Character: mob!Steve Rogers
Part of the mob drabbles au
Summary: you are given an unexpected assignment.
As usual, I would appreciate any and all feedback. I’m happy to once more go on this adventure with all of you! Thank you in advance for your comments and for reblogging ❤️
The two weeks since you gave notice fly by. You’re almost buzzing with excitement. Once the day is through, you’re free. Well, free to finish packing and spend your last night in your apartment before your new chapter.
The change couldn’t come at a better time. It’s best you get out of the city after your brush with danger. Back on the straight and narrow. For once, things are going according to plan.
You’re barely focused on work. You have everything wrapped up and ready for the next poor soul. Brenner’s not bothered. He just sits at his desk, watching those videos that reflect in his framed certification. You try your best not to look.
All you can think of is packing up at the rest of the day and never looking back. This new job is everything you ever wanted. And the interview was great. They seemed great and the culture was more than a slimy boss and elderly secretary knitting by the door.
As if on cue, Geraldine squawks a greeting as the door open. You flinch and look over as she preens, “why hello, sir. Back again?”
You don’t get too many walk-ins. You turn and your eyes bulge as Rogers lets the door close behind him. He wears a dark blue suit with a matching tie. His hair looks even longer than before, his beard thicker. It’s been barely a month but it feels like longer.
You turn to your desk and click around your screen. Remember what he said. As far as you’re concerned, he’s a stranger.
So why is he walking towards your desk. Brenner clears his throat and stands, his mouse bouncing off his keyboard as he scrambles. You swallow dryly and keep your head down.
“Mr. Rogers, sir, what can we do for you this time?”
“Got another job.” Rogers intones.
“Sure, uh, we’re a bit short-handed but--”
“Her,” Rogers stops beside your desk and taps the corner. “Come on.”
You flinch and look up at him in dread. You frown. You’re confused. He told you to forget and you did your best to do just that.
“Right, er,” you sniff and twine your fingers together to keep from fidgeting. “Happily, er, sir, but the thing is, it’s my last day. Tomorrow--”
“I’m not asking. Come on.”
“Oh, uh,” you hesitate. He sounds angry. You know what happens when he’s mad. The thought makes you light-headed. “Well, I’m moving out-of-town so--”
“Get up,” he demands as he shifts towards you, reaching over your shoulder to grip the back of your chair. “Important work to do.”
“Go on,” Brenner says, “help out Mr. Rogers.”
Rogers’ icy blue eyes flick up to the other man and narrow. A warning. I don’t need your help. He pushes away from you and the chair rocks dangerously. Back to square one. Back to an angry dog bristling for a fight.
“Sure, sure,” you show your palms then slowly pivot.
You gather up your briefcase and check that all the drawers are empty. You wonder if maybe you’re taking so long but you really don’t want to come back here after whatever trouble this man has in store. You get up with your bag in hand.
Rogers turns without a word and strides across the office. You follow. You catch up to him outside as he holds the door for you. As you try to keep pace with him, you muster all your courage.
“I hope this is a short job, I have aa moving truck--”
“I’m not negotiating.”
“Alright,” you accept with a squeak.
It’s all too familiar. There’s no explanation. Just blunt orders and tense silences. He opens the passenger door of his black car and you get in. He goes around the driver’s side and turns the engine.
“Whatever job you took, won’t pay as much as this one so let’s stop with that,” he says.
You blink. This can’t be happening. You had it all figured out. You’re done with criminals and Mr. Brenner and all of this. You frown. You feel his gaze in the mirror. He sighs.
“We gotta go outta town. I need someone who can do numbers.”
“Outta town?” You murmur.
“Sounds like you’re already packed and ready to go, so we’ll drop by to grab some stuff and head off. No time to waste--”
“What? I... but...” you stammer.
You snap your mouth shut as you sense his roiling irritation. Oh, oh no. You know what this is. Too good to be true which means it’s all falling down around you. ‘Out of town?’ You know what that means.
Your head bobbles as your breath burns in your chest. You grab at the door handle and whine, “please, don’t. Please, let me out. I didn’t tell anyone, I didn’t--”
“Hey, stop that,” he grabs your shoulder and pulls you back against the seat, steering with his other hand. “You’re going to get hurt--”
“You’re going to hurt me?” You squeal and your eyes roll back into a fog.
You feel the lurch of the car before you plunge fully into the darkness. It’s like blinking. You wake up against the seat. He’s still driving. You don’t recognise your surroundings.
“No!” You erupt back into consciousness. “No! Why are you doing this? I promised! I didn’t talk to anyone, sir! I didn’t. I’m leaving town and--”
“Calm down,” he grits over the wheel.
“No! No! If you’re going to kill me, then I’m not going down easy,” you insist, “I’m going to--”
The world turns gray again and you hit the door with a thunk. You sink again into your vacant mind. A shift in motion wakes you again. There’s music playing.
“Am I dead yet?” You ask groggily.
He scoffs, “what’s gotten into you? I told ya, we got a job.”
“We? Job?” You sputter. “You know, I know what ‘out of town’ is. I watched The Godfather. Boring but they were streaming it...”
“Huh? Godfather? No, no, look, I don’t kill people I can use,” he says plainly.
“Oh... that’s not reassuring,” you utter.
He lets out another long breath. Yours starts to pick up again. You brace the door.
“Damnit, don’t you pass out again,” he demands. “I know you kept your promise. That’s why I chose you. This is an important job. Diplomatic. I can’t risk someone who might flip and I know you’re not going to do any of that. Because I know you don’t want to do any of this.”
You consider his words. You clutch your head, “fair.”
“Are you good? I got some water,” he points to the bottle in the plastic holder by the console.
“I... I won’t...” you inhale deeply. “I just—you said we were done.”
“Shit happens,” he shrugs.
“And I’m just along for the ride,” you mumble.
He snorts and shakes his head, “guess so.”

🩸PAINting🩸 (Billy Loomis x Stu Macher x AFAB reader ft. Art the Clown)
This was freaking crazy to write and I mean that in a good way. I hope y'all enjoy this fucked up mini fic 😩
Warnings: Poly ghostface, major character deaths, gore, blood, SMUT, shower sex, fingering, making out, masturbation (male,) teasing, Art is kinda horny lol, no pronouns used, unedited
"Sounds like you want to fuck him." Stu said from his seat across your bed.
You gasped in disbelief at his accusation. All you wanted was to know what it's like to be chased and stalked by Art the clown. After hearing about pthe victim and her brothers attack it's all you've been investigating for your podcast about crime and horror. It peaked your interest and you don't know why. It's like his darkness consumes you.
Little did you know, the famous clown was hidden behind the door listening to every bit of your conversation. He was amused with your obsession and it excited him so much more than he already was to get his hands on you and dismember every single limb of your pretty little body, and both of your boyfriends too.
You were laying between Billy's legs on your bed while talking to Stu about your little obsession. Once he heard Stus comment about you wanting to fuck Art, Billy chuckled in your ear and you craned your head to glare at him.
"Ugh, I don't want to fuck him! I'm just curious that's all. About his kills and why he's so intricate with his displays of horror."
"That sounds disturbingly artistic." Billy says behind you and your eyes light up, "Exactly! Ugh, Stu c'mon! Get me an interview with the victim for my horror podcast. I'll make it worth your while." you said and Stu lifted his eyebrows suggestively.
You stood up from between Billy's legs and he let out a little groan of complaint. You gave him a lingering kiss before walking over to Stu and straddling his lap, "C'mon, I'll be good. Please?" you begged and pouted in order to further convince him.
He gave Billy a knowing look before agreeing to your little offer.
•
You don't know how you ended up in the dorms shower pinned against the cold tiled wall making out with Billy while he finger fucked you under the hot water, but there you were.
For some reason you chose the men's locker room showers, and thanks to the open layout Stu was able to watch you and your boyfriend devouring each other.
He was under his own shower head washing off the remaining soap that ran down his toned abdomen. He was glistening as the water washed everything away.
You were now making eye contact with him over Billy's shoulder as he rubbed his cock slowly at the sight of you two.
You whined pathetically imagining Stus cock buried in your sopping cunt, but instead you felt Billy slip inside you, filling you up to the brim, and oh what a nice surprise it was.
Your leg was slightly over his torso to accommodate his lean figure as he pounded into you.
"Fuck, fuck, yes... Billy please... Stu..." You moaned both of their names and they loved hearing you beg for them at the same time.
Stu was jerking off at the same speed as Billy was fucking you, imagining he was the one filling you up instead.
As the three of you fucked each others brains out Art was right behind the same wall you were pressed against. He loved hearing those sweet little moans of pleasure coming out of you, and he couldn't wait to hear the ones he'd get out of you once he inflicted agonizing pain all over your body.
He laughed quietly, in his usual mime manner while he pulled the gasoline cord to the chainsaw he chose as his weapon for the night.
Your moans echoed all over the locker room, as well as the obscene sounds of Billy pounding you, plus Stu fucking his hand which got even more intense. Every sound mixed together until it was too late to realize that Art had already turned the chainsaw on.
He walked in with the weapon and penetrated Stu with it, cutting him straight through the middle. Blood splattered everywhere and painted the walls crimson red.
Letting out a guttural scream, you pushed Billy away from your body.
Art mocked your scream and ran towards Billy with the chainsaw. He tried to chop your boyfriends head off but the boy was quicker and dodged the attack, knocking Art down and pushing the chainsaw towards the clown, but there was no use.
Art pushed Billy away and pinned him against the floor, the chainsaw ready to slice him open exactly like he did with Stu.
"NO, STOP! BILLY!" You screamed and Art moved the chainsaw towards your boyfriend slowly, almost teasingly.
"YN, run! GO!" Billy yelled at you before Art finally sliced him open from start to end. His body is ripping open like a paper being split with your hands.
You were crying and screaming, in a shocked state that didn't allow you to move. You observed as the clown continued to cut body parts off your boyfriend and throw them at you, almost trying to get your attention.
You finally came back to your senses and grabbed a towel, quickly wrapping it around your body before running towards the door.
In typical horror movie fashion, you slipped before reaching the exit and Art pulled you towards him by your ankles. You were ready to die. To be found chopped into little pieces like both of your boyfriends who were completely unrecognizable. They were just a pile of flesh, bones and a pool of blood. However, the clown didn't do the same to you. No. He turned the chainsaw off and threw it aside.
Art removed your towel and ran his gloved hands from your cheeks, to your tits, down your torso and over your thighs leaving a blood trail on your skin. Billy and Stus blood.
He admired your body before smiling wide and poking your nose, leaving a small dot of blood.
You were crying silently and trying to avoid his gaze, but he wasn't having it. Art was suddenly annoyed at your avoidance so he picked you up over his shoulder and took you away to God knows where.
To torture you and worship your body with pain and agony.

The Hellfire Exotic Club Part 11
Just two more chapters to go. The tension is ramping up and you're gonna want to hold on to your seats. This is the penultimate chapter before everything is revealed. And hooboy is it going to be great fun.
In this we find out who the cleaner was and he gives Eddie the final clue he needs to stop his troubles once and for all.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Part 9 Part 10
~
Eddie enjoyed watching the cleaning crew. They were like bees in a hive, not bumping up against each other or trying to do the same tasks. Cleaning up after some days was hell, like Tuesdays and Saturdays and he always made sure to pay extra on those days.
That said, he really didn’t know any of them. The only familiar faces were the foremen. Eddie has asked the head forman about it once and was told that cleaning Hellfire was such a cushy job that he rotated teams so that everyone got a chance at it.
So imagine his surprise when one of the cleaners stopped Steve on his way out of the dressing room for a short chat.
It looked a little heated, if Eddie was being honest and was about to step in when Steve broke away from the conversation and drifted his direction.
Eddie cocked his head toward the cleaner. “Who was that?”
“An old friend of mine,” Steve said with a shrug. “I didn’t realize he had fallen on such hard times. Apparently his mom broke her hip and hasn’t been able to work for the last year.”
“That’s rough,” Eddie said, and waved his arm for Steve to go first. “I don’t know how much the cleaners make, but maybe if he puts in an application we can find him something to do here. Hell, he could work in the kitchen if Monty liked him well enough.”
His chef was a thin, wiry looking fellow, but he knew how to make the best club food anyone had ever tasted. He was also particular about who worked with him. But Monty could always use an extra hand or two and it would never hurt to try.
“I’ll let him know the next time I see him,” Steve said with a fond smile. “He’s also got a little brother in college, maybe have him apply too. Couldn’t hurt. What’s the least that’s going to happen, you say no? They won’t be any worse off for applying.”
“Yeah,” Eddie agreed. He didn’t think that he would hire either of them if he was honest, but like Steve said, they wouldn’t be worse off for it. “So how was Creepy McCreepy?”
Steve bumped Eddie with his hip. “Henry Creel was fine. He’s just passing through, by the way, Mr. Worry Wort. I think he has bigger fish to fry then some high end exotic dancing club. Not that this place isn’t worth scalping, but I think he’s aiming for higher?”
“World domination?” Eddie teased, leaning into Steve space.
He laughed and nudged him away with his elbow. “Yeah, probably.”
~
Eddie ended up meeting with Steve’s friend because the guy needed consistent money coming in and while cleaning job paid okay, it really didn’t have many regular clients other than the club. Mostly they cleaned up after major sporting events, political conventions, stuff like that. And with their boss Murray always rotating the crew who cleaned the club, some weeks were good, others not so much.
Eddie had to admit that guy cleaned up really good. With his hair out of his face and wearing nice clothes, he wasn’t bad to look at.
“Jonathan Byers?” he said, rising to greet him from a table he had sectioned off for the interview.
“Yeah,” he said, shaking Eddie’s hand. “Thanks for agreeing to see me.”
Eddie smiled. “No problem. I’m sorry to hear about your mom.”
“Thank you.”
Eddie pulled out three pages and spread them out in front of Jonathan. “There are three positions open right now, let’s see if you fit any one of them.”
He pointed to the first one. “This is for the busser position. Basically you go around after people have left to take away plates and glasses as well as pick up any tips. You’ll get a small portion of the tips but mostly it’s a flat rate of $15 an hour.”
Jonathan nodded.
“This one is for a cook’s assistant,” Eddie said tapping on the second one. “Often called a prep chef in bigger kitchens. Basically you’ll prepare everything for the chef and put it in the fridge for him to grab as he goes. You’ll get here at 4pm and leave at 8pm when the club opens. Pay is $22 an hour because it’s only four hours a day.”
Again Jonathan nodded. “That makes sense.”
“And finally the waiter position,” Eddie said. “This one in the highest paid, but also the most demanding. You’ll only have two days off a week and you’ll work from 8pm-2am. Base pay is $15 an hour, but you get a set amount of tips every night. Usually it’s percentage, but if it’s a rough night, you’ll see a base pay of $200 in tips for the night. You aren’t expected to pimp for tips as it were, as you aren’t the main attraction. You’ll be invisible for most of the time and some will even get mad at you for blocking their view of the show.”
“Wow,” Jonathan said. “That’s really fucking generous.”
“I try to be,” Eddie said cocking his head to side, “because living in this hellscape we call American Capitalism is hard enough without having to worry about not having enough money for shit.”
“Can I take these with me and then send over my resume for the position I’m most interested in applying for?” Jonathan asked, placing his hand over the a couple of the pages.
“Sure thing,” Eddie said. “I have copies on my computer. I’ll give you to the end of the week, otherwise I’m going to have to start looking elsewhere.” He stood up and Jonathan did the same.
“That’s fair,” Jonathan said, holding up the pages. “Thanks for this. Because you gave me a chance, even if I don’t end up working here.”
They shook hands.
“Let me walk you to your car,” Eddie said, waving his arm for Jonathan to go first.
He huffed out a laugh. “I don’t have a car right now, my girlfriend is coming to pick me.”
“Then I’ll wait with you,” Eddie offered.
Jonathan considered it a moment and then shrugged. “Sure, man. Whatever.”
They walked out to the curb and chatted about Jonathan’s family and how his mom was doing. “My brother is going to be famous one day,” Jonathan said with pride. “He is such an amazing painter, his work should be hung galleries.”
“Yeah?” Eddie said with a smile. He knew that tone of voice. It was the same tone Wayne got when he talked about him. “So what did baby Jonathan Byers want to be when he grew up?”
“This is going to sound so weird,” Jonathan said with a smirk, “but a bug photographer. Not wild life in general. Bugs. Creepy crawlies. Insects and spiders. I loved that shit as a kid. I don’t know how many times I freaked out my mom by bringing in a new bug to take pictures of and then release back into the wild.”
“Young Eddie would have loved you,” he said softly. “I liked bugs and critters you aren’t supposed to go anywhere near. Raccoons, possums, squirrels. Baby Eddie loved them all. My mom,” he wagged his hand back and forth, “not so much.”
“There she is now,” Jonathan said jutting his chin at the red hatchback pulling into the parking lot.
Eddie pursed his lips and resolved not to say a damn word until she did.
And oh boy did she ever. She got out of the car and immediately started yelling at Jonathan.
“What on earth are you doing here?” she cried. “I thought you had an interview.”
Eddie tilted his head to side. “Not an interview yet, more like a fact finding mission. But I like him.” He grinned at her.
“I forbid you from working here!” she shrieked. “This is a den of sin! I have vowed to take it down.”
“Nancy,” Jonathan said warningly. “We’ve had this discussion. If I didn’t work at every place you found morally objectionable, I wouldn’t be able to work at all. I just need something stable until Will graduates and Mom can move around on her own again.”
“When you told me that Steve was working in this hive of iniquity ,” Nancy growled, “I made it my responsibility to shut it down once and for all. To save Steve, to save you from having to sweep the vile filth from its floors.”
“What?!” Jonathan cried. “I didn’t tell you Steve was working here to have you go on one of your crusades. I told you because Steve was a good friend when both of you were dancing ballet together.”
“It’s a sin!” she cried one more time.
“So is fornication,” Jonathan huffed. “And breaking and entering and a shit ton of other things you do that are supposedly okay as long as you do them.”
Nancy folded her arms and stomped her foot. “That’s not the same and you know it. They have actual fucking nights dedicated to a specific deadly sin. I may have broken a few laws in my time, but I would never stoop the depths of depravity that his club sinks to!”
“You continue with this vendetta,” Jonathan warned, “and I swear to God, we’re through. There is nothing wrong with what they do. So what if people see them naked. Don’t go see it. Your rights stop at their personhood. You can only dictate what you do and not anyone else.”
He turned to Eddie. “Can you take me home? I don’t think I want to be in the same car as her.”
“Sure thing, man,” he replied, thumbing behind him. “Just let me lock up and I’ll be right out.”
When he came back Nancy had gone and Jonathan looked like a kicked puppy.
“You ready to go?”
Jonathan nodded and without a word followed him to his car. After get the address and putting it into the GPS, Eddie said, “I’m sorry about how she acted. Has she done this sort of thing before?”
“When I first graduated high school I got a job at a photography studio,” he muttered. “I took pictures of babies and toddlers. I had this cute little pink rabbit that never failed to get a smile.” He cleared his throat. “She found out that in addition to family portraits, bridal and wedding photos, they also did boudoir photo shoots.”
“Oh no,” Eddie moaned, completely seeing where this was going.
“Yeah,” Jonathan said with a sniffle. “She got the place shut down when she found out that some official’s daughter got them for the guy she was sleeping with, who was not her fiancé.”
Eddie frowned. That sounded too familiar.
“Anyway,” Jonathan continued, “this bitch got the whole place shut down and suddenly I was without a job. If I ever find her, I think I’d like to strangle her with my bare hands.”
“Her named wouldn’t be Heather Holloway, would it? Mayor Kirk Holloway’s daughter?” Eddie asked running his tongue over his upper lip slowly.
Jonathan snapped his fingers. “Yeah, that’s the snake in the grass.”
Eddie pulled off to the side of the road and closed his eyes. “It’s a fucking scam. Holy shit! It’s a fucking scam.”
“What is?” Jonathan asked.
Eddie turned around. “I just figured the whole thing out. All of it. The attacks against Steve, Billy getting caught with his hands up the wrong skirt, Jason fucking Carver. I’ve got to give it to your girl, she is one smart manipulative bitch. But I’m smarter.”

Hiii just wondering if you could please translate this interview Maria gave about Franco? https://youtu.be/AqMKHpuQHLw?si=l9pbKdUVwM52dMuY
Sure, here it is! I skipped a few less interesting parts. For those who don't know, María is one of his 2 managers.
About the 2025 rumors: "All those rumors circulating about Franco signing for a seat are 100% not true. There isn't anything signed. I don't know if you've seen Jamie's [Franco's second manager] tweet saying 'Thanks for the info [about Franco confirmed at Red Bull] how strange, you found out before I did!'. For now Franco is a Williams driver, we have 3 races left with them and at the moment we're in Williams. James himself said he's negotiating with other teams, it's a discussion between teams that I can't say much because I don't know. There is a wish for Franco to stay in F1 in 2025, from so many people: his fans, us, the F1 itself would love for him to continue, Williams themselves are pushing to make it possible. If that wish becomes a reality we'll announce it when it happens for sure. For now, there is not any signed contract."
"I admire Franco so much. The way he's been dealing with the pressure and exigency of F1 is admirable. I was sure it was going to be like this, but he's still 21 years old, working with the mindset of a much older person. The physical and emotional effort he's putting in is impressive."
About how they take much more care of Franco now: "In F1, the only difference is that the exposure is many times higher. Now Jamie and I pay much more attention to the way this is affecting him, how he deals with this exposure and everything that's been happening to him. In that sense, the good and bad things have intensified a lot. So we are keeping an eye on him almost every second, both on and off the track."
About Franco meeting fans and signing their stuff even after Sunday's race: "That's just his nature. We spent the entire weekend hearing crazy stories of people who traveled to Brazil from Argentina by motorbike, people who didn't even have a ticket for the race, people getting wet in the rain. And he was incredibly moved, he felt that very intensively, saying 'what a wonderful thing is happening to me, look at all those people!'. From the paddock we all could constantly hear their chants, songs and screams, and everyone else was like 'what is going on?! what is this?!'. That is super positive for Franco, he couldn't stop coming out, he just wanted to go out and greet them. Obviously by the look of his face, his mood, he wasn't very excited at that moment, but he didn't want to stop giving back just a little bit of their constant support. He's still the same person [as before F1]. After the race he went out with that [sad] face, because he thought 'all those poor people, coming all the way to Brazil and look at what happened'. He felt like he had to do it for them, saying it's for all these people that he has to do well."
"We would've loved to be at the banderazo. Picture this: before leaving we even had to buy an extra suitcase just for all the gifts Franco received this weekend. It's been incredible."
About the impact of Franco's fans on F1: "I don't know if you've seen it, but now the Instagram account of F1 has been posting in Spanish (targeted to hispanic countries). I don't remember the F1 ever making such an amount of posts in Spanish before. This means that the F1 is embracing with gratefulness this community, these new argentinian fans and everyone Franco's bringing in."
About Brazil GP: "It was tough, it started tough and it ended tough. Considering it was an unknown track for him, his first time there, the tricky rain conditions we had, if I go back to all the sessions I think Franco was quite fast, even though he couldn't try the inters until the race because of his crash in quali. So I'm happy with the work he's done, considering he's a rookie, it was his 6th race, the wet unknown track, he did a good job. At the end there was too much water, in the straight there were two big rivers. Unfortunately he aquaplaned in one of them and lost the car, there was nothing else he could do. It can happen to you, like it happened to him and many others, or it can't. So it happened, the conditions weren't good and there isn't anything to throw in his face by my part."
About his relationship with his race engineer and their radio in Brazil: "It's always like this, maybe Franco has an opinion and Gaëtan has another, sometimes they agree but the most important part is that they win and lose together. Franco and Gaëtan will win and lose together, in the good and bad times. We'll never know what would've happened if they had listened to Franco [about him repeatedly asking for wet tyres before his crash]. The point is that him and Franco have a great connection, he trusts a lot in his criteria and this hasn't changed at all. They're always together in the simulator, now going for Vegas and thinking about the future."
About Franco feeling bad for the mechanics after his crash: "He wanted to be there helping in any way he could. I don't know what other drivers do but Franco is very affectionate with all the members of his team and greets them every morning, says goodbye to everyone every night, he has a special connection with them. His biggest worry was the effort they had to put to fix his car so he was constantly coming in and out of the garage, asking if he could help with anything, supporting them and thanking them."
About his relationship with Alex and the overall climate in Williams: "The best thing is that it's like a small family. It's our first F1 team so we can't really compare, but it feels good to work there, it doesn't feel like you're in F1 and feels like we're still in MP [F2]. Everyone is lovely and it's a pretty family-like climate."
#she did another interview that was practically the same but also mentioned franco's been working very closely with his therapist gustavo#which is really good to hear#them having to buy an extra suitcase to fit all his gifts <3 what he deserves#sorry for any grammar mistake i'm kinda tired lol#franco colapinto#fc43#f1#williams racing#brazil gp 2024#maría catarineu

a facilitator from nhlpa's mental health first aid program First Line
One of the things I do with them, the teams that I work with, it's called The Mask of Masculinities and on the one side of the mask, we put, what does the world see? How does the world see me? And then on the other side, we put, how do you feel? What are you hiding?
And when we do that activity, it's incredibly powerful because not only do you have a bunch of male hockey players playing with glitter and feathers and things like that. But when they read the mask there's this shared story of having to be tough, having to be aggressive, having to be dominant, being the provider.
And on the other side, there's vulnerability, there's mental health, there's suicidal thoughts. Some even use the mask as a way to come out because they're bisexual or gay, but they have to hide it because of the narrative.
Every time I interview with men or with the players, we always ask, is there anything else you would like me to know? Anything else you would like me to say and, unanimously, every time they say, thank you for letting me talk. Thank you for letting me share my story.
Sorry, I'm starting to cry because it's just the pain is just so deep. Sorry. And there's no voice for them.
I think things are getting better. I think now we are having conversations that we never would have had before. You know so there are still entrenched narratives that they need to change because there is such a huge call you know, for people to-- how do I do this differently? How do I do this differently? Because it is a crisis in our sport.
youtube
Highly rec the entire vid. Also includes a couple of the 20 nhl players that volunteered for the program, including Joseph Woll and Ryan Strome.
As well as Corey Hirsch, former stanley cup winning NHL goalie who suffered with OCD while playing until he got help. His podcast Blindsided hosted with psychiatrist Dr. Diane Mclntosh is excellent.

Transcript:
Host: That was the band Turisti. There, we visited Rijeka briefly. I love the show 'Slušaj 'vamo' ('Listen Here'), especially when we travel around the Balkans or Serbia. Currently we're travelling around the Balkans, actually the Balkans came to us. Welcome, guys, the band is Joker Out.
Bojan: Thank you. Happy to be here.
Welcome to the Beograd 202 studio for the second time. You're all free to answer, we'll see who will speak later. We have the entire team here, all five of them. Bojan was the loudest here – obviously you have to show who the frontman is - then we have Kris, Nace, Jure and...
Bojan: And...
Jan: Jan.
Jan, yes. Bojan and Jan, great, excellent. Next we should have 'An'.
Bojan: And 'N'.
Last time we chatted - actually, when we talked over the phone, Bojan, that was sometime before you came to Belgrade - it was, I think, before you played at Arsenal Festival. So many things have changed in the meantime. Who could've thought?
Bojan: Yes. A lot of things have happened since we talked, but this album, which will come out in November, we already started working on it back then, at least mentally.
Yes, and we were announcing your concerts, and we had this question. You knew people here love you, you knew they couldn't wait to see you, but I know you couldn't expect that kind of reaction. Not at Dom omladine, not at Arsenal Fest. I mean, I was there, so I know what I'm talking about.
Bojan can answer, the rest of you can also join in, how did it all seem to you?
With all of those toys and everything that flew onto the stage and so on, the euphoria.
Bojan: I mean, the concerts at Dom omladine and Fabrika in Novi Sad were truly phenomenal, but at Arsenal Fest we got a kind of, let's say, a prediction of what we can expect - but that was something more, when it's your own concert and specifically in that kind of intimate space, you can really feel the people who are there and... there were many things that flew onto the stage, but I think we gave it our all from the stage, so that was some kind of 'you get what you give' love.
And somebody- do you have the impression that everything happened kind of quickly, I mean, in comparison to Eurovision? I'm not talking about what happened before that, you have your history before Eurovision, but you're kind of new to people. It's inevitable, when somebody takes a leap they say: "Oh, they're new", but you have 10 years behind you. That's a long story. This past year and a bit more has felt like you have - that it went really quickly.
Bojan: Well, it has, I think that in the past year and a half, 10 years have passed, really. So many things happened that we haven't experienced in the 8 years we've existed, and just today we were joking that when we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we come to Serbia and say like: "We're celebrating two and a half years since you met us."
You know what they say you were lucky. Lots of bands here only become popular on their farewell tours. All around our area, I'm not just talking about Serbia, it happens everywhere. We take in new bands slowly, but when they do, it's long-term love, you know? It's like that in your case.
Bojan: Well, I hope so.
Who's next? Does anyone want to add anything? Come on, Kris, for example?
Kris: Well, Bojan already said everything.
Did he?
Kris: Bojan already said everything.
I'll ask you this, so, last year, when you sold out Dom omladine - and Arsenal went well too - that was your prime time, which is always kind of a risk: you don't know how it'll go when you step onto the stage. Now that you're coming here for the second time, did you have the feeling that, ah, we have to repeat that and success and do even more now?
Kris: Well, I think we didn't, and I think we confirmed that later, considering the fact that Dom omladine - that tickets for Dom omladine sold out in a few hours.
But you didn't know they would sell out in a few hours when you scheduled it.
Kris: Well, we didn't know, but we knew.
But you hoped so?
Bojan: Kris knew.
Nace: Kris knew.
Kris: We assumed. And it's always like that, I mean, we knew that we wanted to go smaller than we realistically could, because we wanted it to be like... For the third album, we wanted a gig that's more intimate and for the biggest fans, so from that perspective we kind of knew they'd sell out fast, but we were still surprised by how fast it sold out again.
Bojan: We couldn't decide between Belgrade Arena¹ and Dom omladine.
Dom omladine is ten times better - for example, you know what, Johnny Štulić² was there 7 times a long time ago, at Kulušić. To this day fairytales are told about the seven concerts at Kulušić.
Bojan: Yes, right.
And second, you have those dedicated fans who will come to all seven concerts.
Bojan: True.
Can we listen to 'Bluza' now? That's your new song.
Bojan: Let's listen to 'Bluza'.
Is this your latest song? A new single, announcing the new album.
Nace: It is.
Bojan: Well...
That is, your latest single.
Bojan: It's our latest single, but something interesting about 'Bluza' and 'Šta bih ja', those are the two songs we managed to prepare in London in January and February. We played them on our European tour, before they came out. And really, during our European tour everyone already sang those two songs, so when 'Bluza' came out, it was already old news.
Okay, let's hear this old song, that's actually still new.
[Bluza cut]
This was a song called 'Bluza', the latest single from Joker Out, yes, yes, they're those Slovenian boys. If anybody is maybe wondering if they are, yes, they are. We've heard from Bojan, we've heard from Kris, little by little we'll hear from the rest. Come on, can we hear something from Jure, Nace, Jan, come on. A "good evening", even if you say it one by one.
Nace: Good evening.
Jan: Good evening, Belgrade, how's it going?
Are you excited for the concerts in Belgrade and Novi Sad?
Bojan: Come on, Janči. Are you excited?
Are you excited for the concerts in Belgrade and Novi Sad?
Jan: Yeah, every time we've been here, the concerts were phenomenal, the audience was on fire and I hope it will be the same at the next one.
Bojan: On fire.
Well, do your best, they'vealready bought the tickets in advance, so they expect it to be exactly... Will there be an additional concert? Probably...
Bojan: There won't.
No?
Kris: The additional concert is the day before, in Novi Sad.
Bojan: Yes.
Anybody who didn't get tickets on time, come to Novi Sad.
Bojan: True, we haven't sold out Novi Sad yet, so we have to... We have to...
Hey, we haven't told them the dates yet.
Bojan: Ah, yes. The 26th of November in Novi Sad, Fabrika. The 27th of November in Belgrade, Dom omladine. And come on the 26th if you still haven't bought the tickets.
Even if you have bought a ticket, come on the 26th, why not.
Bojan: Come.
You have fans, people who follow Eurovision, Eurovision obviously has its fans, it's faithful electorate, as you'd say in political jargon. Do European fans follow you, do they come to your concerts when you're in the Balkans or only when it's near them?
Bojan: No, people come to our concerts from literally all over Europe, and even further. When we had a concert at Stožice Arena, I think people bought the tickets from...
Kris: 34 countries.
Bojan: There you go, the tickets for our concert in Stožice were sold in 34 countries. And... often it happens to us that somebody is, says: "I came from Texas", or something. In Koper in Slovenia, a girl - actually, two or three girls - told us they came from Texas on the day of the concert and they went back home the next day, like...
Nace: To Ljubljana from Tokyo.
Bojan: Oh, to Ljubljana from Tokyo, right.
Jan: To the Netherlands from Malaysia.
Metallica did that thing, you know, they had a meet and greet...
Bojan: Yes.
...but they randomly picked fans, and they didn't look at where the fans are from, so there were times when they picked someone from the US, where they are from, to come to their concert at Partizan Stadium (Belgrade), and after that they hang out with them, so people came. So, think about it, it's not a bad idea, they're even founding their own agency to drive fans to concerts.
Bojan: Great.
There you go.
Bojan: We can become a travel agency, when we get bored of the band.
Here, Joker Out. You mentioned Stožice Arena, is that where you recorded the album, the live one, or?
Bojan: It is, it is.
Ah, so that was it, that was that opportunity. So, featuring all the guests from abroad, from all over the world.
Bojan: That's right. We heard voices from all over the world on that album.
Two albums, a live album right away. Well, nice, considering the kind of fanbase you have, that was... It was kind of a logical next step, to... That's the only arena we have in our country, and it seemed to us that after all these concerts we've done, and after Eurovision, which changed everything, that we should have one live concert in that arena. Like, so we can be completely sure it happened, since when you're on stage, I know that at Stožice we weren't 100% present, so it's nice to have some kind of... a vinyl to play on a record player and say: "Hey, we were actually there."
I can't wait for us to see that vinyl and play it on our record player, we still play...
Bojan: You'll receive one, we promise.
...songs on a record player. I don't know if they still use gramophones for the radio in Slovenia.
Bojan: They do.
They do? There we go, we can play a bit of it too. When you said you have one arena in the country, so you played at that one, I can say, when you add up all of the arenas of the former Yugoslavia, there's a lot of them, so you filled one, now you can fill the rest...
Bojan: Let's go!
Let's go, Zagreb Arena, Belgrade Arena, Spaladium Arena (Split), and so on, so, who knows.
Bojan: We hope so. Maybe we'll celebrate our tenth anniversary in arenas.
Yes, yes, in arenas... stadium concerts and arena concerts.
Bojan: Exactly.
Kris: You mean our two and a half year anniversary?
Bojan: Two and a half.
Two and a half for our region! When will the new album come out? There's these two singles so...
Bojan: The album comes out on the 15th of November.
So, right before the concert.
Bojan: Yes, I mean, we're used to our audience not needing more than a few hours to learn an hour and a half's worth of lyrics. So for the whole album, we said that 7 days is more than enough time until the start of the tour, so yeah.
Well, they catch something you play live and then learn it.
Bojan: Everything, everything.
Yeah? Great. What are your plans for when these concerts are over, the album is out, you'll do these concerts practically alongside the album, usually there's a tour when an album comes out, so what's your plan for the future?
Bojan: Well, this album will have a smaller tour. We're starting in Ljubljana on the 22nd and 23rd of November, then we're in Novi Sad and Belgrade, Skopje on the 1st of December, Zagreb on the 3rd of December, on the 6th we're in Maribor and on the 9th we're closing the mini-tour in Vienna. And honestly, that's about it until the end of the year for us, we'll probably do a concert or two, but nothing spectacular... And in January and February, a holiday awaits us.
Really?
Bojan: After two years, we're gonna have our first real holiday.
Somewhere in the Alps probably, or something like that?
Bojan: No, I think we're going to the seaside!
Seaside, seaside.
Bojan: The boys are going to Thailand, so, there, for the first time after a while, for 2 months we won't think about some, our next project. And afterwards we're returning to Europe, we're returning to the Balkans, we'll perform some more. And also create, I hope.
Now, are the fans who followed you during Eurovision still your fans or not? I mean, do you still plan to have someconcerts around Europe, for example?
Bojan: Of course, of course. Next year...
But not for the Balkan diaspora there, you know how it goes.
Bojan: We never performed, it's interesting, at our concerts in Europe, and we've had a good amount of them this year and a half, we've had 5 tours, I think, altogether... the Balkan diaspora actually doesn't attend our concerts, which saddens me a little. I'd prefer it if, I mean, I wouldn't prefer it, I'd love to see more Balkan people at our concerts, but we're not a part of that Yugo-nostalgic generation and the generation that moved out of the Balkans. We are their kids' generation, but that part of our culture probably doesn't get to them, so we actually don't perform for the Balkan diaspora. But, if you do listen to us and are part of the Balkan diaspora, come, please.
Yes, one by one, you'll gather them slowly. First, you'll have concerts for those who are from the places you visit, and then next time you'll have a tour only for the Balkan diaspora.
Bojan: Only the Balkan diaspora!
You know what I'm interested in... I've asked some other artists the same thing. What was that moment where you felt like... like it's going somewhere? Eurovision happened, you got there, suddenly there was a hype around you here and I can simply remember that moment when you appeared in the competition. I'm wondering when you felt that this is going somewhere and that you're getting on that train and...
Bojan: Here, Nace answered.
Nace: The gig in Dublin!
Kris: That was our first gig in... Our first real solo gig abroad. But yeah, for three years I've felt like we've been catching this train. Now is the moment when you should catch... In Slovenian, we say, "Kuj železo dokler je vroče" ('strike while the iron is hot').
Yes, yes, yes, "Gvožđe se kuje dok je vruće" ('strike while the iron is hot').
Kris: Exactly! I've had the feeling for 3 years already, and it all began with our first album showcase in... 2021, in Ljubljana, in Cvetličarna, we picked it right now as our moment where we knew that this was something that will... be our profession for the next few years, maybe our whole lives.
Maybe your whole lives! Do you know how many artists thought they'd last 10, 12, 13 years, but in the end, they celebrated their 30 year anniversaries?
Bojan: Yeah, yesterday we met Novi fosili, who are celebrating 55 years of their band and...
Tonight and tomorrow YU Grupa, who will soon have their 55th anniversary, are performing in MTS Dvorana, so...
Bojan: Exactly, those stories exist, I mean.
They're real!
Bojan: They're real, and we received some nice words, he told us... (laughter) Well, not those words! (laughter)
Don't keep it to yourselves, come on, say what you wanted to say!
Bojan: No, well, okay, we received some nice words that we should continue making music and that we have the best job in the world. That we truly, when we go to work, we hang out, make new connections, create new things, and that this is something that can last forever, so...
The thing you said, "When we go to work..." That's what I think of my job. They say if you want to not just work your whole life, but also enjoy [it], pick a job you love. So, guys, I wish for you to have this job for decades, even!
Joker Out: Thank you! You too!
Whether I'll be here, I don't know, but come here after 20 years, even. Here, it's like we knew 'Carpe Diem' is up!
Bojan: 'Carpe' is up!
Right, it fits right in. Shall we?
Bojan: Let's go. By chance!
Thank you so much, thank you for going around Belgrade for the whole day today and still finding time to come visit us in a good mood.
Bojan: Thank you for finding the time and for inviting us.
And we'll see each other soon, I hope!
Kris: Thank you.
We'll surely meet at your concerts, I'm not completely sure about Novi Sad, but in Belgrade I'll be on the balcony.
Bojan: With the high-speed train it's 30 minutes, easy peasy.
I know already. So, see you, bye!
Kris: Thank you.

Ali made a post about the interviews.
The misdirection in the interviews was inevitable the moment that episode ended. That episode was blatant GAY Eddie foreshadowing. The final scene of that episode was basically confirmation of where this thing is going. And even the jurnos said that. But the show isn't ready for that yet. The characters aren't ready for that yet. They each still have some of their own stuff to figure out before they're ready. Oliver did not tell people that he wanted a slow burn and for the audience to go through the ups and downs of a will they or won't they just to come out in an interview and say 'Buddie canon in 3 episodes'. That's not how this is going to go. They are going to build this up. Ryan always overcorrects in interviews when he's trying to play things down. It's his default setting. There's nothing wrong with that. But they both also made a point of saying that 'they don't know what the future holds' so when the time comes and they do go canon no one can say they lied. They do know where it's going but they're not allowed to tell you that, yet. That's PR 101. I understand that media literacy is not as common as I thought it was but we were right about Tommy guys. We know what we're talking about. We don't know how long it will take or what will come between now and then but you all have got to stop sending doom posts to us. If you need to say it say it on your own blog. Nothing they have done has been subtle. The Tommy thing played out exactly like we said it would. EXACTLY LIKE WE SAID IT WOULD. Because they're being obvious. We're not going to get all the answers in one episode and I'm not spending the next 3 months talking people down from panic over every single thing one of them says or does. It's their job to sell you the NOW and right now they're not together, and as far as we know, neither character is aware of their feelings yet. Let them tell the story. But actors and show runners lie all the time in interviews. Because the interview isn't a lie in the present canon, which is what all of these interviews are talking about. Present canon. It's why they gave themselves the out of 'we don't know the future'. They do. But their characters don't and the interviews are from the perspective of their characters current canon situations. We got a win last night. Stop. Enjoy the win. Quit looking for reasons to be annoyed or upset because as far as 911 goes, you don't have any reason to not be excited. Last night was basically confirmation. 💗
Thank you for dropping this in my inbox Nonny!
Yep. YES to all of this.
When Oliver said that he wanted the characters to experience that slow burn kind of longing? He clearly said that he wanted the audience to experience that longing with them.
That's exactly what this is.
Isn't it beautiful? 😁

I came from your post saying it was a really good episode, and that you loved it. It went against the grain and I feel the same way!
Tommy had all this talk of wanting a family, that the 118 could be his family but he still broke up with Buck because of what seems like this own insecurities. He can’t believe that Buck really wants him to move in, it’s like a shock to the system. When Buck confesses in 7x04 Tommy is surprised, and in 8x06 assumes Buck is going to be the one to break up.
To me, it comes across like he’s going through his own insecurities of “does Buck really love him?” Maybe it’s biphobia, since he’s ‘buck’s first’, or maybe he’s just not as strong as he presents himself to us. I knew Abby would be connecting them and I thought it was great, honestly. Buck was the rebound, don’t get me started Abby’s lowkey creepy behaviour too before they got serious, and as it comes he’s now dating her ex-fiancé.
The amount of teasing they did before this episode makes me hope they fix it. That they resolve it. The interviews made it seem like a bump in the road and not *The End*. I hope they find a way to keep him around even if they’re not together. Lou is an amazing actor and I relate to Tommy so so so much!
However aside I do think the writing of this episode wasn’t particularly good, it felt rushed and had me devastated at the end. I hope he’s not gone, and while I know they probably won’t be end game I can keep dreaming.
I love your positivity and I love your posts I can’t wait to hear more of your opinions!
Thankyou so much! You’re pretty much on the same train of though I am here, as well!
I really, really relate to Tommy and again while I’m projecting I saw what you saw with the insecurities. I also am starting to get the sneaking suspicion that Tommy panicked, cut and ran before he got in too deep because he’s done this before. Abby (and ugh I won’t start on her 😑) is the only past relationship of his that we have confirmed, so there’s potential there for it to be that!
And oh man, Tommy saying he’s not the last guy, the endgame, the forever partner got me so hard in the fucking feels. Because that is 100% why I relate to him. I’m that guy. I’m the guy that gets a fun however long until we go our separate ways and they find their forever human. But I’m still alone. And I’ve personally screwed up several potentially good relationships because of the trauma I have around that- so why can’t Tommy? That’s where my mind goes, and again there’s so many ideas to be had from that as a storyline too.
I really, really don’t think this is the last we will see of Tommy or Lou. Fandom is upset, but the amount of people from the general audience I see commenting criticism on FB and Insta is making me super hopeful (because the GA loved Tommy and that’s how we got him for more eps in the first place!) I was nearly cry laughing at the amount of commenters saying their boomer parents flipped their shit about it! 😂😂😂
My crystal ball is too cloudy to see into the future for realsies, but I rediscovered my love of shouting into the tumblr void thanks to this show, so I’ll stick around and share my ridiculous ideas and try to make people smile for a long while yet. And please feel free to keep sending me your takes too, because yours are really awesome as well. This fandom is pretty darn good, all things considered!🖤🖤🖤

The chance of William not marrying for love is higher than what most people insist.
I just want to answer this anon. I think people like to think that William and Kate aren’t in love because they look at people through their roles or like generalized labels or like through the lens of rules they think should exist in the universe. As Joan Didion said, we tell ourselves stories in order to live. A lot of people know that royals or aristocrat often marry for money or convenience. It’s true that historically, royals get into arranged marriages.
But I would like to offer a different perspective. We can try and see the humanity in each person. I know that’s difficult to do with royals because they’re so media trained and private. But paying proper attention to the stories of these people, the tiny bit of personality that comes through in their interviews and stuff, sometimes we can see their individual stories, their individual personalities. While it’s true that there’s a high chance that the heir to the throne like William would not marry for love, we can infer from the story of his life laid out that there’s a chance he did. My opinion of William is that he’s actually a lot more transparent than people realize. Or maybe it’s just the result of his parents being Charles and Diana who couldn’t stop themselves leaking left and right in the 90s, that there’s no choice but for a lot of things to be laid bare for us. Of course, William is still very private and we might be wrong in our assessment, but we can’t also always generalize.
What I’m saying is, this is the man who in his engagement interview, didn’t shy away in showing how affected he was about his parent’s past. He said something about learning from the past. We also know from things Diana said and from William’s own demeanor that he’s someone who gives a lot of thought to things. We also know from interviews he’s given as a teenager that he struggles with the fact that his role pulls him in different directions and he’s protective of his self, which can sometimes appear to be stubbornness. What I’m saying is, we can infer from these things that this is a man with his own mind. So I would say that from all the things we think we know about William, there’s also a high chance that he would insist on marrying exactly who he wanted to marry or who he loved.
I would also say that even though we know historically that royals get into arranged marriages, we can’t always be sure of how the story goes. I mean, if we’re looking into history, for example, Henry VII and Elizabeth of York married for political reasons. Their union ended the War of the Roses, and yet most historians would agree that it seems they found love along the way and that Henry VII was one of the monarchs with no known mistress. However, royals can fancy themselves in love too in the beginning but the story doesn’t end in a good note. Henry VIII, for example. I think most historians would also agree that he was enamored with Anne Boleyn. Maybe it wasn’t love, maybe it was lust. But the thing is, he fancied himself in love at the beginning, but obviously it ended horribly. A lot of people also forget that Henry VIII was happy at one point with Catherine of Aragon.
What I’m saying is, while we can all generalize that “oh, royals do not marry for love” or we can have a sense of “oh these rich people are all unhappy!”, but they have their own stories too. And so do we, being “norma people” or not being as rich does not guarantee happiness or finding true love. Marrying for love does not guarantee happily ever after also, but we can only wish the best for everyone.
Thanks, anon! You make some really good points here.
I don't have anything to add except: if royals and aristos aren't supposed to be marrying for love, someone better tell the romance writers because they're out of a job now.

Hey! First of all, I just want to say I'm really really enjoying reading your posts <3 Thank you so much for your hard work all this time!
So, my TOTALLY COMPLETELY and maybe even "I'm reading too much into it" question/observation is: I was watching the 20190602 DDU episode where The8 (from Seventeen) appears (this one https://w.mgtv.com/b/327225/5735184.html?fpa=se&lastp=so_result) and, at 13:52 WYB winks, and the hosts say his wink created lightning (something like that) and the editors even add an effect. COULD IT BE an inside joke about XZ's introduction back on his 2017 X-NINE DDU? Or am I tripping? Hahahaha
Thank you <3
Hi 1camoli9, thanks so much for your kind words, I'm glad you're enjoying my blog! 😊
youtube
Here is the episode on YouTube for those who do not have Mango TV.
For those who are unaware, when X-NINE was introduced on DDU back in 2017, GG introduced himself as the energy generator of the group and did a cute winking gesture.
It is entirely possible that they are making a reference to that episode.
youtube
Here is that episode. The moment in question happens at 7:25 when GG is introducing himself. He refers to himself as the 'energy generator' of the group.
(This actually comes up again in connection with his appearance on the 11th anniversary episode with DD. They are being interviewed together backstage and they talk about the first time GG appeared on the show. DD asks him why he introduced himself that way and GG says that he was told to.)
Anyway, to get to your question, I would not put it past the DDU brothers to be referring to that, as they liked to tease him a lot about GG, but given the timing of all of this it's hard to say. They didn't start teasing him heavily about GG until after the taping of the 11th anniversary episode.
Taping of the 11th anniversary episode happened in mid July and the episode that you're asking about aired in the beginning of June.
We will probably never know for sure, so if you enjoy that CPN, you should continue to. It very well could be an inside joke about GG. His introduction did seem to make a big impression on all of them at the time of X-NINE's appearance.

Life update:
I didn't make my deadline.
After approximately 200 applications, only 6 (first stage) interviews, 3 (second stage interviews), and more rejections than I could cope with some days, I unfortunately haven't been able to find a job since being laid off in September. This means I can no longer stay in my apartment. Which. Sucks.
I'm lucky enough to have my parents to fall back on, so I'll be moving back to their bungalow until I can find something to support me and save up enough money to come back to the city, so that's something. But it's also not going to be great for me while I'm there.
My hometown is an incredibly small mining town in the rural north-east, it's ridiculously close minded and conservative. I'm not out to any of my family for this reason, so I am for sure signing up for a minimum of a year being misgendered and stomaching casual bigotry from everyone I'm surrounded by.
And I love my parents, but our relationship isn't the best. They have a lot of really unhealthy, toxic, and occasionally abusive behaviours, and the way they treat each other and me is really... well it's not always good. Which is part of the reason I not only moved out but to a city that's 3 hours away in the first place. Their home is not intended for anyone but the two of them, it is incredibly small, and I will be living in a second room that only fits a camp bed and a small desk with very little privacy as this room is also where some of the utilities are. It's something, and I am so lucky to have this option at all vs complete homelessness. But I also know the toll this is all going to take on me physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I have already had to start looking at my current possessions, over 4 years of the life I built here, and decide which parts I get to keep and which I now have to leave behind.
Being back there is going to be... I don't know. I get into dark places whenever I go home for the holidays for a few days so living there again... I really don't know.
I guess the only thing keeping me going is the idea I will be able to come back to the city I'm in right now, the one I call home, eventually. It's just going to take some time.
And I have a plan, I am already job hunting for remote roles I can do back there, I'm open to taking on two or three if necessary, and I've started working on opening an Etsy store for some of my crafting creations that may also help me fundraise the money to leave a lot faster. Perhaps I'll even consider commissions again.
But it's definitely going to be a long long year getting myself back on my feet again.
One of the only upsides currently is how much time I have to be working on fic and art (whenever the muse allows me!) so that's something I guess haha.
Anyway, thoughts and love and support and virtual hugs go a long way for me rn, and if you're so inclined (absolutely 100% not necessary but every little helps) here is the link to my tip-jar:
Ko-Fi
Even just giving this post a share would really help me right now. Those who know me know I find it really difficult to ask for help even when I'm in desperate need of it but I think, after six weeks of this reality slowly creeping up on me, I have reached a point where I am ready to say I really need it.
The fandom communities I have found myself in the last year have been an absolute rock for me. And I am so glad I get to be a part of them with you all.
In the end, it will be okay. That's what I have to keep telling myself. Positively rebellious and rebelliously positive.
Thank you for reading, I hope you have a wonderful day and I appreciate you all so much 💛
#personal#life update#gin speaks#feeling some kind of way about all this#and trying to find the silver linings#something something one door closes#but man i loved this apartment#and rip my poor roommate/cousin who i live with because she cant stay either#we both cried a lot tonight but#its gonna be okay!!#determined to keep myself as positive as possible about all of this#in the end it will all be okay

carraville core beliefs (aka things I am Always keeping in mind when writing them)
Gary:
always busy. always talking. genuinely one of the most annoying people alive. his friends often mute him on whatsapp
easily bribed with chocolate
too rich to have any concept of what things should cost or how anything works
has a Type and that type is tall muscular men
related to his type: likes to be Held. (make of that what you will)
was in love with becks when they were young and everyone who knows him knows this
Jamie:
very much a lads lad and so probably a bit of a bastard but unconsciously acts soft around Gary
loud and over the top especially when he's joking around. VERY touchy-feely but only with people he's comfortable with
does not like sweets. does not like coffee.
loves a paycheck
doesn't have a type he's just insane about Gary. so insane about him that he doesnt necessarily have to actually like men at all to like HIM
completely utterly whipped
as a pair:
always the most insane people in any room they're in and always the most intense
bullying is their love language and they're suspicious if they're being nice to each other
genuinely stupidly fond of each other. what was it I said the other day they just delight each other so much
the reason they delight each other/click so well is BECAUSE they're always the two most insane people in any room they're in
everything is a competition and once they're together they STAY together bc they are both determined to Win at their relationship
#thank u for coming to my ted talk#(also for gary core belief that he has the same genre of autism as me but that is implied)#comtext for some of these: nicky butt literally said in co92 that he muted gary on whatsapp#the other gary stuff is just all like actually literally true like we know this#cant remember when jamie said he doesnt like sweets but he said in his overlap interview that he doesnt like coffee#often in my fics he will get gary coffee and i am always careful to never say that hes got HIMSELF coffee#touchy feely only when he's comfortable comes from him saying on cbs that he doesnt like being touched#vs everything he ever does ever when around gary#him being a bastard i just know in my heart to be true. him going soft around gary well we all have eyes#needing to win at their relationship comes from sara's fic obviously. that is The fic summary of all time#carraville#oh yeah the likes to be held make of that what you will bit obviously is me implying that i think hes a bottom.#but we all already know that too

Looks like that video is about a month & a half after The Trade and trevors broken ankle 😣
re: this video… anon 😭 i had suspicions but it is so much worse to have them confirmed that really was like. trevor’s first Public Appearance without jamie AND post-broken ankle which is traumatic in and of itself no wonder every beat reporter was like ‘oh yeah trevor’s just devastated’
wouldn’t you be miserable too if your best friend just got traded and your body betrayed you and what if it was maybe all your fault!!!
#bestie thank you so much for fact-checking me 🙏🙏🥰🥰 i love when y’all come in my inbox & answer the questions i yell into the void of my tag#we are Suffering about trevor TOGETHER in this house. if i scrolled all the way to the bottom of my drafts i think i could find even more#heartbreaking content from before The Trade but we don’t need to suffer that much otherwise the penguin cup of tea is really irish coffee#confirms ALL of my theories about miserable trevor leaning into mason for comfort because in some universes that’s THEIR boyfriend who left#liv in the replies#trevor zegras#mason mctavish#need to go lay on the floor about this one folks. do you think trevor said he would only do it if mason came if he could sit next to mason#right at the end where people were rushing out not stopping to talk tired by the end of the line and not even thinking just to guarantee he#wouldn’t get asked anything because he still has a hard time believing it’s real he keeps thinking jamie’ll be there especially w/his ankle#i’m sure he doesn’t have a great time with stairs so he probably will nap on the couch sometimes and that moment right when he first wakes#up to the bang of the door and he doesn’t quite know he’s awake yet and he thinks it’s jamie coming in? heartbreaker right there bud. sorry#ALSO because I can’t say it and leave it alone I almost put that last bit strictly in the tags but like. there’s gotta be some part of#trevor that knows it’s nothing to do with him but still naïvely believes that if he’d maybe been there if he hadn’t been injured things#could have worked out differently if he’d been there and it’s his fault his ankle broke and do you remember all the interviews jamie gave#about how you never think you’ll be traded and how strange it is to be moving and now i need you to take that naïveté times 1000 for trevor#who of course he never even pictures jamie leaving they were building the core together!!! why would they ever get rid of him!! and if only#trevor had been there to show how important jamie was. what would he have done? literally nothing but that does not stop the emotional guil#from enveloping trevor like a rain cloud and making him sit in mason’s apartment with ice cream bowl in hand. holistic treatment l
