And right before you can even finish, the moment you step out of the living room, your gaze landed on the floor and there was your boyfriend, asleep on the floor. You almost forgot how exhausted he must've been for today since he wasn't home all day. You, too, were busy with some other stuff, in the house or work related. Back to the situation, your boyfriend was right in front of you, lying on the floor and sleeping like a baby.

You almost didn't wanna move him but the damn floor is cold and he might get shit ton of muscle cramps no lie. You had two options, carry him or wake him up so he can lazily go to the nearest furniture which you'll end up still being worried because you know damn well this man would definitely fall off the damn couch.

And that's how you ended up carrying your boyfriend all the way to the bedroom, which led you to have the worst back ache of your life. How'd you even carry him? Of course the old fashioned Bridal Style, you swore you could hear your back cracking a few times each step to the damn bedroom. Nonetheless, he's in bed now and you plopped next to him, panting softly as you closed your eyes... And now you were deep in thought, wondering what on earth he did today that he was fast asleep on the floor the moment he got home.

The thought left you worried still and wide awake until you suddenly heard birds chirping out the window...

You rushed to the window and peeked outside, and your jaw nearly dropped when you saw the sun rising, that's also when you realized, your sleep sched will be as fucked up as Ji-yong's soon enough. You lazily went back to bed, staring at the ceiling like you've seen a ghost, thinking and wondering how the fuck did you not notice the damn time.

Eventually you got a few hours of sleep, which means you got at least four hours of sleep. It was eight in the morning and you were sitting up, rubbing your aching head but your back made that crack again and you nearly screamed, luckily you stifled it with a breathless gasp. “Shit..” You muttered as you slowly lied back down, trying to ease the pain.

The moment you did, Ji-yong instantly trapped you in his arms like you'd disappear if he loosened his grasp. “Mmh..” He hummed against your head softly, his fingertips tracing random patterns on your lower back. “You carried me, again.” He murmured, sounding worried and opened his eyes slightly to look at you. “I thought i was dreaming when i heard you whispering cusses.” You deadpanned and sighed, “I can't just leave you on the floor, dragging you would be so rude, waking you up is the rudest.” You said as you gently cupped his cheek and brushed your thumb against his cheekbone.

“You didn't have to.. I told you to wake me up, not carry me. We're both getting old anyway and so are our bodies, now you have back pain again because of me.” He said as he pulled you closer gently, trying to be gentle as possible like how you were so gentle with carrying him hours ago. You sighed softly and planted a soft kiss on his forehead, “Alright, alright.. I'm sorry. I'll wake you up next time.” You muttered softly against his forehead and earned a soft, quiet hum from him.

“Let's sleep for a bit, Aein.. You have no idea how bad i missed cuddling you.” Ji-yong murmured softly and his grasp was literally trapping you, you could barely move. Which left you no choice but to smile softly and close your eyes again. “Okay Aein, love you..”

“Love you too..”

he’s the sweetest man. takes such good care of you and makes it his mission to get you whatever it is that you want or need—don’t even have to ask! if he knows you’re wanting something? you’ll have it.

will learn how to make your favorite dishes in an instant! say he’s not the best at cooking or maybe it’s just this particular meal? will go as far as taking a class just to learn how to make it the perfect way.

absolutely adores when you’re able to watch him on stage and no not just on the television he’ll want you at every concert or show he does. that’s when the king of k-pop comes out! but when the show is finished and his eyes find you? oh there is your cute and sweet jiyong again that’ll do anything for you.

a very touchy man he is—especially in the morning he’ll need to be wrapped around you. either his arm is wrapped around your waist or he’s got his arm wrapped around your shoulder pulling you closer to his warm chest, hearing the soft sound of his calm heartbeat that he always says “beats just for you.”

even when he’s in public with you and he is the gdragon himself.. he’s still your sweet husband and will always take care of you. he enjoys pushing his fingers through your hair and pulling you closer to him by your waist and looking down at you with a cute goofy smile on his face. nothing about this man changes just because you’re in public.

writes so many songs about you. the majority of them he won’t release and waits until he thinks they’re perfect to show you and he’ll call you into the studio for you to hear while you sit on his lap. he’ll stare up at you the whole time wanting to see your reaction and how you genuinely feel about it.

“what do you think, baby? I worked so hard on it and I just.. wanted to make it perfect for you—us.” his hand will be resting on your lower back and he’ll smile up at you from time to time just seeing how flustered you get from all of this. he loves that part.

not sure if this sounds weird! but I think it’s sweet and he’ll think it’s even sweeter but he enjoys slow dancing with you in the living room. picking out the perfect slow older korean song and grabbing you gently by the waist and slowly dancing with you even if you’re both not that good at it. it’ll be both a very romantic gesture and funny memory.

“And.. Art is very beautiful, Y/n. I really hope we can go to an Art gallery or a museum one day.” Seung-hyun said as you smiled softly and nodded. “That sounds like a plan, hm? Soon, Aein!” He smiled softly the way you called him that. He loved it, not that he'll say it out loud. He'd brush it off like it was the most normal thing ever, but truth be told it meant so much to him. Being called Aein by you was something that makes his heart race.

It was so nice, so sweet, you didn't even realize your hand was inching closer to Seung-hyun's, your fingers about to make contact and—

“Mwah mwah mwah!!” Tae-yang and Ji-yong's kissing sounds instantly got you looking away with a giggle while Seung-hyun scoffed and rolled his eyes at their behavior whenever he tried to have a sweet moment with you. He just wanted to spend some quality time with you for fuck's sake. He wanted to admire you until his heart's content. He wanted to hear your gentle voice, your sweet smiles and the way you look at him.

Oh he wasn't delusional [just a little], he knows you look at him differently from the others. The way your gaze would soften the moment you look at him, your eyes were like the ocean to him. He always drowns in them and can't look away at all.

“Ahh enough enough.” Seung-hyun grumbled as he stood up and walked away, making Ji-yong and Tae-yang follow him to tease him even more. Moments later you could hear Seung-hyun's angered voice echo from the halls, which got you giggling, as always. You'd make your way to whatever commotion that was happening and your poor Seung-hyun was pissed while Ji-yong and Tae-yang were laughing their asses off on the floor. “Enough now, that's enough teasing for today.” You said and shook your head as they teased Seung-hyun one last time before they ran out of the room laughing like dorks.

Seung-hyun sat next to you on the bed, you were glued on your phone for now, greeting Seung-hyun with a small smile. “Welcome back, Aein.” Looking at some old posts, until you felt something on your lap. Lowering your phone, your eyes widened seeing the fluffy teddy bear staring back at you with its cute smile. “Oh Aein!! Thank you so much!!” Seung-hyun smiled the moment you abandoned your phone and immediately hugged the teddy bear. He spotted you taking some of his plushies a few times, and when he was out for a walk after their latest tour, he saw this adorable guy in a store and it instantly reminded him of you.

“Aww Seung-hyun! How come we don't get any of that?” Tae-yang teased, while Ji-yong peeps and grins when he saw what was happening. “Ohhh what's the meaning of this, Seung-hyun?? You clearly love Y/n more than us!” Ji-yong exclaimed making Seung-hyun scoff and looking away from them. “I clearly care about Y/n more than you guys.” Which wasn't true, but it still got them laughing at how Seung-hyun was acting like this when they teased him. “You guys got your own money, then go buy yourselves some.” That got you laughing with Tae-yang and Ji-yong.

At dinner. For tonight, Seung-hyun was in charge, it was his turn for tonight and you were just chatting with the boys, talking about each other's interests or anything random honestly just to keep the conversation going. Seung-hyun steps in, placing the plate of food in front of you before he steps out, saying; “The rest is still cooking, so wait.” You blinked once.. twice.. before you chuckled softly. “Heyyy! I was starving all day!” Dae-sung whined as he looked at the plate of food that looked absolutely delicious. “Oh come on, this only takes ten minutes.” Seung-hyun sighed as you giggled.

After everyone got their food, Seung-hyun sat next to you, and before they could start teasing you, Seung-hyun pulled a bold move and,

Seung-hyun wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you closer. “Careful, it should be warm now so you won't burn your tongue.” He muttered and you nodded with a soft smile. “Thank you, Aein.”

Tae-yang chuckled and Ji-yong smiled at the sweet interaction. “I'm still waiting for the day they get married so i can finally call Y/n Umma and call Seung-hyun Appa.” Dae-sung broke the silence making Tae-yang and Ji-yong bust out laughing, nearly choking on their food. While Seung-hyun rolled his eyes at them, he couldn't hide the smirk on his face. Maybe one day he'd see you walk down the aisle, in the most beautiful wedding dress and adress you as his 'Wife' one day.

jiyong slides in his chair, letting out an exasperated sigh. music production has been so stressful, trying to meet the high expectations put on his name. g-dragon. sometimes, he wishes he can run away from this name, from his genius producer reputation. but he loves music, his fans and...he wouldn't have met you.

he met his girlfriend of three months now through mutual friends, and he couldn't be more thankful. you're everything to him, which is why your reply made him sulk.

jy: hi baby, are you free tonight? ;) y/n: hii my beloved, im sorryy :( work has piled up and i see no escape. i'll be busy for the next few days :(

several days is way too long of a time without seeing you. "i don't blame her, i'm struggling the same with my work. but i would love to see her for an hour or two." he was ranting to his bestfriend, taeyang, on the phone with a visible sulk in his voice. "i think you should tell her that jiyong, maybe she was too stressed to think of meeting for a few hours."

he was staring at the demo he produced a few hours ago, his mind thinking of ways to make the song sound better. he forgot taeyang, still on the other side of the call, but a feminine voice pulled him out of his thoughts. "did she say she's busy with work for a few days?" "yeah, why?" he cleared his voice, "uhm guys, what are you on about?"

hyorin, taeyang's wife, sounded worried. "i think you should go check up on her, jiyong-ssi." he sat straight in his seat "why? what does it mean when she says she's busy?" hyorin sighed on the other end, "i can't talk in detail about it because it's not my place but, (y/n) has struggled with being vulnerable because of a previous relationship." he stood up fully now, rushing to save his work. "i coincidentally went to visit her with a meal when she said she was busy, and she was having a breakdown...she thinks she will be a burden if she made people rush to her side everytime she's going through something." his heart felt like it stopped working, like it malfunctioned. why would she...she's not comfortable with me?...

you heard a knock on your apartment door and you started wiping your tears, the delivery man doesn't need to be seeing dried tears and puffy eyes, you tried to joke. "you can leave it just on the inside-" you were super-glued to your place. it wasn't the delivery man. "ji-jiyong?" your voice came out thick from all the crying you did. "can i please come in?" his voice was almost a whisper, like he is afraid to raise it any higher in case you run the other way.

you silently opened the door wider to allow him in, not knowing what to do with yourself. run, hide, don't show him your weakness. your traumatised mind was screaming at you, but you were still glued in-front of the gentlest man you've ever met. his eyes had an expression you couldn't read; pain? guilt? sadness..?

your body starts forcing you to walk into the living room, but before you turned around he leaped and wrapped his arms around your waist, his head leaning into your shoulder, engulfing you whole. you stayed in your place, you didn't understand what was happening. "(y/n)" he breathed again. "(y/n)" he breathed out, "why are you crying, alone, when i'm here?" you felt your body shaking, so you wrapped your arms around his neck, burying your head into the crook of his neck in an attempt to hide from the confession he was asking of you.

you held him tighter, and he returned it by pulling you closer to him. "it's not about you" your voice was more of a whisper than anything. "i know baby" you shifted in his arms, "you know?" he slowly started drawing circles on the small of your back. "hyorin told me a bit about it, but" he placed a kiss on the top of your head as he rested his chin on the top of your head, "who in their right mind would not want to hold you in their arms, like this, and smell your floral shampoo?" he tried to lighten the mood.

"a whiny, clingy person" you started "that's what he told me when i called him, needing reassurance." at which point did your tears started pooling around your eyes again, you don't know, but you notice how jiyong starts swaying the both of you gently right and left, like he's telling you he's listening. he knew you still had more to say. "i'm the type of person that holds it in, i don't complain unless i've suppressed my emotions for too long. at some point in my relationship, he started sighing anytime i tried to express how i'm feeling.." you started crying, but wanted to continue,

"so, i stopped telling anyone how i feel. every time i tried to speak, my mind would start to attack me, scream at me, and it shut me up." you hid your face in his chest as you cried your heart out. you let out all of your pent-up feelings to another human being after all this time. it wasn't just anyone, it was to the person that mattered the most to you. his arms melted away your sadness, stress, frustration. after what felt like hours, your cries were now sniffles, slowly settling into this newly cleansed heart.

you felt jiyong pull away, and pull you with him over to the couch in the living room. he sat you down, held your tear-stained face ever so gently, wiping any escaping tear from your (e/c) eyes. "your vulnerability" he kissed the space between your brows "is what you makes you human" he kissed your left cheek "becoming someone you can lean on," he kissed your right cheek "is a great honour for me." he kisses your nose "i want to know your everything, i want you to cry only in my arms, and to complain when life feels unfair." he grazed his thumb over your lower lip.

he slowly leaned in, placing a feather-like kiss. you smiled as he kissed you again, deepening the kiss, like he's sealing the promise he made to you with his warm, soft lips. you melted, feeling your mind settle into an unheard whisper. he rested his forehead on yours, sighing happily.

"i love you, kwon jiyong." he giggled at the mention of his full name, "i love you too, (y/n) (l/n)." you were both giggling at this point. you settled on his lap, as he held you close to his chest. feeling his heartbeat, you felt yourself come home. "thank you, my dearest." he reassuringly squeezed your upper arm. "always, my most beloved."

a gentle sigh left your lips after checking your phone for around the 100th time now—or maybe you were just being a bit overly dramatic. lifting yourself off the large couch that sat against the wall in jiyong’s studio and heading towards the door when it suddenly opened and here came the man himself that you’d been waiting for. he gave you an apologetic look and shut the door behind him raising his arms to pull you into a tight hug as if you two didn’t just see each other an hour before. this is how it was being best friends with the gdragon himself, as you two were hanging out being the first to take a listen to the album he was working so hard on, he got a call and stepped out for a moment which ended up being much longer than just a moment like he said but you understand more than anyone else. “I’m sorry that took longer than expected princess, got pulled into a short meeting and uh.. well, I’ll be able to perform soon! it’s been so long since I’ve been on stage I’m filled with anxiety about it.” you tilted your head to the side and reached to place a hand on his back, gently rubbing the area for a moment. although jiyong always spoke up about his anxiety especially to you there was a part of you that knew everything would be just fine. he was a man filled with many doubts but he never understood that he was also a man filled with talent and was loved by so many because of it. the hand that was placed on his back slowly reached towards his shoulder and there went your arm wrapping around him and pulling him into you, “hey! let’s not be so negative, okay? anxiety will not ruin a moment like performing after so long this is amazing news! I’ll be there to cheer you on. there’s nothing to worry about.” watching his cheeks turn a light pink color only made you giggle. it was adorable how shy he was around you despite being best friends for a few years now. pinching his cheek in a playful manner he softly pushed you away while covering his face with his free hand, not wanting you to see him anymore.

“what are you so shy for!” you asked before pulling away from him and finding your spot back on the couch. jiyong didn’t say a word to you which only made you raise an eyebrow in confusion but not thinking too much about it. the both of you always had moments like this and it would become super quiet or awkward even, your shyness and his got in the way. “can I listen to more songs jiyong?” you asked finally breaking the silence between the both of you and he quietly nodded. the last song he put on for you to hear was.. something you’ve never heard before. it wasn’t anything that jiyong would make and it confused you. the lyrics had been so intimate and romantic that it honestly sounded like he had someone he was really into or already dating the person. “was this song meant for someone?” you asked without looking at him suddenly feeling shyness come over you especially after hearing such a intimate song. another moment of silence filled the studio and just as your lips parted to speak he beat you to it, “yes. someone very special to me. she’s one of my closest friends.” you’d be lying if you said that didn’t make your heart drop. why? you weren’t sure.. or maybe you were and it was that you’ve had a crush on him for such a long time now but refused to do anything about it. “t-that’s very sweet of you. maybe one day I can meet her.” fool. you never stumble over your words unless you’re extremely embarrassed or shy and you weren’t sure what you felt, it was a mixture of both of those emotions. “you know her quite well.” the sound of his deep voice startled you because it was so close and of course shook you from your thoughts. slowly looking up you were face to face with jiyong. the embarrassed look on his face was enough to tell you he didn’t want to be doing this so why? why did he continue to torture himself because of some crush he had on someone you supposedly knew? because you were best friends? but you had thought that’s how best friends were supposed to be, share everything with each other. “I don’t understand why you’re doing this.”

another long pause of silence filled the room before you spoke up again, “you don’t seem like you’re wanting to talk about it so we don’t have too. I just hope she’ll be a good match for you. that’s all I’ve ever wanted for you.” and with that a long sigh left his own lips as he slowly pulled his chair away from you. “you just don’t get it do you? or are you acting that way on purpose?” you didn’t look up at him but stared at your white crocs and all the cute charms jiyong got you for them. “jiyong—” he stopped you by leaving the room which only caused you to be more confused about the entire situation and just a few minutes later he returned with a bouquet of flowers in his hands. jiyong wiped his hands against his pants and a drop of sweat ran down the side of his face, a dark reddish color from his hair dye. was this some kind of joke? was he seriously going to use you to practice what he was going to do with the girl he liked? it made you feel so embarrassed! why would he do such a thing knowing how shy of a person you were, this wasn’t a good idea. “listen.. I like you, more than a friend.” jaw dropping to the floor after hearing such words—words that you’d never be able to hear for yourself. “jiyong.. you know I’m not someone you should be practicing this kind of thing with. I’m super awkward and shy! I don’t even know how to react to this.” he looked at you in disbelief thinking you were joking at first but seeing the look on your face he knew you were being serious, this wasn’t going how he planned for it to be. “y/n, princess—no, my princess. I like you. y..you’re the one that I like more than a friend. fuck this is so embarrassing for me! why did I do this.” the flowers that he was once holding were dropped against his keyboard and that’s when it finally hit you. it was.. you. gdragon—no jiyong your best friend liked you more than just a friend. you stood from your seat and finally looked at him trying so badly to fight off the dumb embarrassment you were facing from this. “I’ve always liked you jiyong.” is all you said before turning to face the charms again finding them pretty interesting in a moment like this. he didn’t say anything for a little while until you heard movement and saw his shoes right in front of yours. a warm hand grabbed ahold of your jaw and gently forced you to look up and your eyes finally met his own. “don’t be shy. there’s no reason to be shy with me, hm? that’s what I’ve been wanting to hear for the past few years and I thought you’d never feel the same about me.. but it’s true and I can’t believe it.” a chuckle left his lips and he looked slow at the ground before finding your eyes again. your hands grabbed ahold of his wrists and you slowly turned your head to kiss his palm before shying away from his gaze and finding the charms again. “stop that! look at me.. you’re so pretty this close. can I.. um, can I kiss you? is that okay?” he was always such a gentleman and that’s what you loved the most about him. playfully giving him a ‘pfft’ you nodded your head and awaited for his lips to meet yours—when they did you felt this spark that was so strong and addicting almost, a feeling you’ve been longing for.
