question: what do i do if i think of stuff i like/enjoy after submitting? submissions are editable so you should be able to edit your answers if you think of something else after submitting. this also goes for expanding answers if you want to get something down now and go back later to edit your thoughts. (if you find you are not able to edit, dm me immediately because that means i fucked up real bad). i know the prompt questions get pretty detailed and you may want to marinate on them 😅

question: how long do we have to edit our answers? i will close the form on january 15 at a to-be-determined time at night in the est/utc-5 timezone so you can edit continuously up until then

question: how specific do my answers have to be re: moments in the season or favorite things about a player? you can be as vague as you want. moments in a season can be anything from the sharks instagram posting an entire reel of smiles today or the time mario ferraro dragged his team into a win against utah. likewise your favorite things about a player can be vibe based - perhaps you love a player's kind eyes or his normal naturals or his benevolent face. those are all valid.

a lot of these questions are intended as more a vibe check for your creator, not a 1:1 mapping of things you would like to see made/giffed/written. for example if one of your favorite moments was the time henry got stuck on the ice for close to five minutes bc he could not figure out how to get off the ice, your creator may be inspired to make a gif set of the ten best no brains henry moments.

question: how serious are we about hours spent on art/word counts/etc? i am not asking for times or anything; basically just don't end up in a situation where you've spent 3 weeks hopelessly lost in the sauce and now you're stressed beyond belief...think of the work as a single bepsoke piece of chocolate from a fancy chocolatier

Hello everyone!! Matches have been made for the Sharkudablr Valentine’s Day Gift Exchange and you should be receiving a DM from me shortly, if you have not already!

There is a guidelines doc here, please read it before getting started. Included are extra instructions for fic writers.

I got a couple of questions about this - this is intended to be Secret Santa style. There are way more guidelines and instructions in the doc, but to that questions specifically, it's intended to be a little surprise! So reach out to me if you need to get in contact with your recipient with a question or a vibe check or anything.

If you want to create treats or extra gifts for people you weren’t assigned, there is a list of players in the second tab of that document. Choose a player (or players) and DM me, I will give you a link to that request’s sign up sheet. Included in that list are former squad and Barracuda.

If you have any questions or I goofed something up in the sign-up sheet or if I matched you with someone you have blocked or ther eis literally anything that is causing frustration, please don’t hesitate to send a DM or an ask to here or @moregraceful! on GOD if i do this again i'm cutting the form in half, but one of my favorite parts was the what do u like about the players question where almost everyone dutifully answered 1-3 things with varying amounts of details, and then the person who said just said "i like them all because they're stupid. and also horny"

also the part where spellcheck anglicized pickles' name and i didn't notice?? this is why we don't make forms at 3am and also make our friends proofread them before making posts.

and finally, covergirl of the season is yaroslav askarov with 20 out of 23 people calling him a fave. i've had yarek for less than a year but if anything ever happened to him etc

matches will be out later today (it is midnight in my timezone), probably later in the evening, bc this is a logistical puzzle my brain was not built for. it's worth it tho!! i will also be making a post later of the various threats on mike grier and/or warso's lives + the like two people who had benign things to say

Btw re: Sharkudablr exchange, Ko and Sierra lovingly yet violently brought to my attention something about what the form asks fic giftees specifically that made them balk at the idea of having their answers public for everyone to see. Which was VERY good feedback for me to hear, so I'm currently adjusting my plan around that. So if your hesitation in signing up was that your answers would be put on blast for the entire internet, do not worry, they will not be 🫡

Hello Sharkudablr, thank you for your enthusiasm!! I'm sooo excited by how many sign ups we have already!!

I had a question about if it would be possible to do treats in addition to the person you are assigned (or if you are not sure if you will be able to commit at this time, but would like the option of participating without the stress of signing up.) Which is very very sweet!! I am pondering the best way to do this bc the length of the form was...ambitious...lmao. But I wanted to say that if anyone else had the same thought, I am thinking about how we can do that and I will keep you all updated!
