Never been happier! I have so many peppers growing on my plants right now I am so amazed and can't wait until they are ripe!!

So many Thai chilis, habaneros, and real deal peppers +a jalapeño and a couple mystery peppers. Google says they are habaneros but I haven't bought any new habanero seeds and they look completely different from my other habaneros. Still super exciting!!!

Alright ghouls, my doctor told me that my psychotic immune system won’t let me have anymore grains unless I want to go on immune suppression therapy, so I’m giving y’all a really good rice recipe I can no longer enjoy.

Spicy Garlic Butter Cashew Rice

Cashews

Thai chilies

Garlic

Onion

Parsley

Rice

Paprika

Turmeric

Salt white pepper

Cayenne

Prepare desired quantity of rice, set aside.

Mince desired quantity of garlic. I use 3 cloves for one rice cup.

Put desired butter amount into pan; set to low heat ( I put in 2 table spoons).

Put heat to medium and add garlic, let cook until soft.

Put temp down to low.

Add the cashews and cook until they’re somewhat soft. When you reheat your leftovers you’ll have softer cashews.

Add desired amount of Paprika Turmeric Salt white pepper and Cayenne. Make sure to stir to coat all.

^There is no measuring on this. It’s until your ancestors whisper “that’s enough.”

I prefer a more turmeric than paprika because it makes the rice yellow instead of red.

Add chilies and cook for around 30 seconds-ish.

Remove from heat.

Add cooked rice, chopped parsley, and chopped onions. Stir to make sure all is well coated with spices.

You may need more butter as you go depending on the heat level and amount of ingredients you use.

this is like regular irl sev lore but i think i would in fact pass jiaoqiu's vibe check to date feixiao because i too am a fiend for spicy food. i once ate 3 bowls of the spiciest local instant noodles on the market in one sitting. the fact i immediately went to the hospital because my stomach lining corroded is irrelevant, jiaoqiu could fix me right back up on site and we could get back into it immediately

Ingredients

▢ 1 tablespoon sesame oil

▢ 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

▢ 6 slices ginger

▢ 5 cloves garlic (sliced)

▢ 1 dried chili (halved)

▢ 2 1/4 pounds chicken wings (cut at the joint where the drumette and the wingette meet, wing tips discarded. You can also use 1 3/4 pounds/800g of pre-cut chicken drumettes and wingettes)

▢ 1/4 cup warm water

▢ 1/4 cup shaoxing wine

▢ 2-5 teaspoons dark soy sauce

▢ 1 1/2 tablespoons light soy sauce

▢ 2 teaspoons sugar

▢ Small bunch of Thai basil leaves or 2 scallions, cut into 2-inch/5cm lengths (or both!)

Was looking for a decent chicken curry recipe since I got a bunch of bits that need using up and sooo many recipe sites are white suburban types:

British: Add one teaspoon of mild curry powder and maybe a pinch of cayenne pepper if you want to feel the heat!
