Her pettiness and violence and self-centered mischief. Aang is a ride-or-die friend sometimes, but when they’re together, Katara’s priorities are always 1) the state of the world and 2) Aang himself. Like she can be playful but she’s never really distracted from her sense of responsibility.

With Toph, Katara prioritizes much more childlike things, like having the last word in an argument, and whether her friends think she’s cool, and laughing in a day spa, and petty revenge. Only Toph can drag Katara down to her level of immaturity and I think that’s beautiful

Shoutout to this tweet, that perfectly articulates my thoughts on Jay/Vik in the fandom in relation to Meljay (also to CaitVi).

I really liked the diversity in the kinds of relationships Arcane portrays, especially because they value the ones centering on women. For me a central theme of the show is that love exists in so many forms and manifests in so many ways.

And so, constantly emphasizing that this one relationship between two men is supposedly a thousand more times more special than any other bond on the show at the expense of other, well written and underrepresented relationships, is disheartening to me.

(Yes of course I know it’s not all shippers but that’s not the point here.)

They actively hunt down traumatised minors on the internet, post their screenshots and publicly shame them until they are too scared to be active anymore. They fakeclaim anyone and everyone who doesn't precisely conform to their exact definition of what a plural should be - which is ironic since the majority of them are not plural.
