For each of the crew, how was their relationship with their parents?

Henry: Average, they got along fine. His father works for the paper.

Joey: Oftentimes contributes his business sense to his father. He was closer to him than his mother, though he still cared about both of them.

Sammy: Parents were very doting and kind of spoiled him. Dad was on the stricter side, mom gave him her love of music.

Jack: Dad divorced his mom when he was little, though it never bothered Jack that much. He used to visit her on the weekends.

Susie: Grew up with a single mother who she loves dearly and writes to often. She was a teacher but she had a nice singing voice, which is where Susie picked it up from.

Allison: Grew up on a farm, mom was mostly a housewife while she was often out in the fields helping her dad out.

Wally: Both parents worked full time so he didn’t see them a ton, spending most of his time with his many siblings.

Norman: His father passed away when he was 16 and his mother died when he was a small child, so he didn’t know either of them super well. He misses them both dearly.

Thomas: Mother was around but mostly aloof as she basically wanted a divorce but wasn’t wiling to go through with it. Dad was a handyman and Thomas learned most of his craft and his stubbornness from him. Relationship was semi-strained but they still cared about each other.

Shawn: Mom is a single parent, very down-to-earth and super nice. She still lives back in Ireland but they write all the time.

Grant: His mom is more of the emotionally fragile type, and also the one who he inherited his depression from. His father was a businessman who helped him get an interest in math from a young age.

Bertrum: Both parents with a family history he can trace back to the 1400s. His parents were the old rags to riches story, starting out doing manual labor and working their way up into wealth, which Bertrum continued to expand on.

Lacie: Her parents are real traditionalists and mostly do heavy labor and odd jobs were they can get them. They already didn’t get along well and have since stopped talking to each other completely since Lacie transitioned.
