PLEASE READ
//Mod here
So I know that there are some people who agree with lgbt+ and some who do not. It should not matter either way what you believe in! Just be nice to each other is all that matters! So what if you don’t believe in it? You don’t have to. I can’t change your beliefs. But you can change how you act on it. Some of you may know that I don’t support lgbt+. I don’t. But I respect and will still be friends with those that do. It doesn’t matter what sexuality, gender or whatever you are. I will still happily be your friend. The world has worse problems than people not supporting or supporting lgbt+. So please. Take a moment and reflect. Is causing disagreements about this worth it in the end? I don’t mind if you do or do not support it. Just be nice to each other and respect each other no matter what you support. I have friends who support it. I have friends who don’t support it. In the end, it’s just a belief. Please don’t start arguments over it. All I ask if for two different supporting communities to befriend each other and just accept that not everyone supports the same thing. Please. Put aside your stubbornness and accept each other. It’s all I ask for.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post//

Today is trans remembrance day. For all our fallen trans brothers, sisters, and siblings, we keep going today. Know that you have a place in this world. You belong here because this world is yours just as much as anyone else's. You are wanted, loved, and appreciated, whether it be by your closest friends, or by a stranger online. There is at least one person on this planet who genuinely cares about what happens to you, whether or not you know it. Your life matters, and I'm so proud of you for still being here, despite the countless hardships you've faced. Please, keep going today. I believe in you. I support you. I'm proud of you.

Please Help a Homeless Transgender Woman Afford Her Hormones and a Gym Membership to Have Access to a Shower and Locker to Keep Her Belongings Safe
November 2nd 2024
Tumblr media
Hi, I'm Thistle Ishtar Daggers-Drawn and I'm a homeless transgender woman living on the street. I have been blessed by all of you with support for awhile and it's really been making my life so much better and in some cases just plain possible. Thank you all so much!
Lately, I've been having a lot of trouble with people walking up to me while I'm sleeping and taking my stuff. I've lost a lot of valuable and sentimental belongings like this.
It would help me a lot to have a membership to the local gym which is on the same block as where I sleep. I would have access to a locker, showers, electricity, wifi, and some nice things like the sauna and hot tub which would help all the body aches from sleeping on concrete. The gym is also a UPS access point where I can receive mail. It would cost around $50 for a three month membership.
I also haven't had my hormones in about 6 months and I'm feeling super dysphoric. It would cost about $100 to be able to order a 6 month supply from pharmaceutical manufacturers in China. It means so much to me to be able to continue my hormonal transition!
Please help me raise $150 to afford access to a locker, shower, wifi, electricity, mail, and hormones!

Thank you for your support so far! If you can't donate, reblogging and sharing make a world of difference!

Homeless LGBT couple asking for help! (December 2024)
Tumblr media
Hey everyone.
My family and I have been homeless for four years now and we have both been struggling to find work. I had one for a bit but I was let go due to branch issues and even that hadn't been enough to get us a place to live long term. These last several months, I have been growing increasingly ill and a few weeks ago, I injured my ankle pretty badly so it is super important that we have shelter so I can recover while looking for work. We are both sick now and we've barely had funds for food lately too so we could really use the help.
Right now, I'm asking for help covering a motel room, food, and toiletries. Any help is appreciated but we really could also use help getting fresh attention on this post as things have been getting harder and harder with each passing week. We are paying for the room about every three days so there will be constant need. Thank you to everyone who has helped us this far. I'm hoping I can make things work soon because I just don't have it in me to keep going like this.
Venmo: @garbageconnoisseur CashApp: $garbageconnoisseur PayPal: @garbageconnoisseur
DM for Zelle. Please no hate. I'm over it. You will be blocked. No unsolicited advice either please.

PRIDE MONTH IS UPON US... AND THE CATS MAKE THEIR RETURN FROM THE SHADOWS.
All designs are available as shirts, stickers, mugs, pins, blankets, tapestries, and more on my Redbubble and TeePublic shops. This year I've added the aromantic flag as well as two options for the aroace flag. Invite one of these snarling beasts into your home today, and let's go bite throats.
All purchases go to support a starving queer artist. Thanks! ---

1,179 suicides today. 2,114 yesterday after the election (source). please check in on your friends and loved ones, even online friends. check in on them even if they seem happy and okay. if you’re considering attempting, don’t. I know this world is fucked up, especially right now, but for what it’s worth, the fact you are still alive means you’re a fighter and a survivor. you’ve made it this far and if no one else tells you, I am proud of you for being alive. it takes fucking strength and courage, and look at you still being here. give yourself some credit because you are so much stronger than you think. yes, everything fucking sucks right now. but you will get through it even if it doesn’t look like it right now. it will eventually get better. I really truly believe that, no matter how hopeless or cruel things are right now. I truly believe you will survive and will get to genuinely be happy and truly safe. just please hang in there.

hello!
my name is samira, your local brown disabled dyke
I'm currently not able to work more than a few hours a week and I don't have a lot of money
while I don't have an urgent fundraising goal at the moment, I'm trying to pay off my credit card debt bit by bit, so I figured I'd make a general post with information on how to help me with that
this is my paypal link, this is my ko-fi (where you can also commission writing from me), and I also have etransfer set up so you can dm me for that info
thank you in advance to anyone who shares and/or donates, every little bit helps!

The aspec community REALLY needs to add intersecting identities to these analysis' instead of making general statements. How helpful is 'ace women are seen as pure because everyone thinks all women are asexual' when we look at the sexualisation of Black women and the Jezebel, the idea Black girls are 'fast' and the general sexualisation of women of colour e.g. spicy latina trope? Are we factoring in how the desexualization of women of colour e.g. the Mammy, the 'submissive' East Asian women trope, the virginity myth isn't acceptance of female asexuality? Does 'ace men are expected to be more sexual' factor in the sexualisation of Black men and other men of colour e.g. 'savage' Arab trope and the antiblack trope that they're inherently predatory? Or the desexualisation of East Asian men? How easily can we define the ace men v ace women experience at all if trans and non-binary aces are missing from most ace representation despite facing the brunt of anti ace discrimination? If we're solely defining these experiences by cis aces? How easily can aroallos 'just have sex' when you factor in the demonisation of gay sex, HIV/AIDS crisis and seraphobia and how this affects gay, lesbian, bi and pan aros? How easily can alloaces 'just partner up' when you factor in the ban of gay marriage that is still in many countries across the globe and the historical policing of 'homosexual behaviours' and this impacts gay, lesbian, bi and pan aces? And this isn't even getting into disability, religion etc. yet. When there's SO many factors that play into how an individual participates in sex and romance, or if they're even allowed to participate at all, how much can we clearly cut the aspec experience into alloace v aroace v aroallo. Or sex favourable v sex indifferent v sex repulsed. There's A LOT we can learn from each other.
