A group of 3,000 teachers working in Gaza for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) — the global organization’s agency dedicated solely to the refugees and descendants of Palestinians who fled during Israel’s 1948 War of Independence — glorified and celebrated the Hamas terror group’s Oct. 7 pogrom across southern Israel in an internal Telegram group, according to a new investigation by UN Watch.
The Geneva-based NGO, which monitors the UN, found that on Oct. 7, when Palestinian terrorists invaded Israel, massacred 1,200 people, and kidnapped 240 others as hostages to Hamas-ruled Gaza, the UNRWA teachers posted messages such as “welcome the great October” and “Allah is great, reality surpasses our wildest dreams.”
One principal, Iman Hassan, said the surprise attack was “restoring rights” of Palestinians. Other teachers called the terrorists “heroes” and said “foreign nationals should remain among the Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip until the siege … is lifted.”
UN Watch exposed 20 specific Gaza educators who celebrated the massacre, ranging from regular teachers to even directors of a training center.
“This is the motherlode of UNRWA teachers’ incitement to jihadi terrorism,” UN Watch executive director Hillel Neuer said in a statement. In a tweet accompanying the report’s release, he added that the agency was engaging in “the systematic incitement to terror.”
According to UNRWA, the agency has 702 schools with half a million students educated by nearly 20,000 teachers — including those who celebrated the Hamas attack.
Complaints that UNRWA is promoting antisemitism and terrorism are not new.
A report published in November by the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education (IMPACT-se), an independent research group, found that at least 14 teachers at UNRWA-run schools had praised the Oct. 7 pogrom carried out by Hamas terrorists in southern Israel.
Another UNRWA teacher was separately accused by an Israeli journalist of having held one of the hostages abducted during the onslaught, depriving him of food and medical attention. For its part, UNRWA has strongly denied that there is any basis to that claim.
The US is the largest donor to UNRWA and gave over $371 million to the organization in 2023. Former President Donald Trump cut funding to the group in 2018, a move that was ultimately reversed when current President Joe Biden took office.
UNRWA’s future role in Gaza after the Israel-Hamas war ends has been a point of discussion in the Jewish state. Hebrew media reported last month that the Israeli government has outlined plans to root out the agency completely from Gaza following the war.
Part of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s refusal to endorse the idea of the Palestinian Authority governing Gaza should Hamas be wiped out is due to the education it supports via UNRWA that promotes incitement against Israel and Jews.
For example, a 2023 joint report by Impact-se and UN Watch found that UNRWA employees had created classroom material celebrating the firebombing of a Jewish bus as a “barbecue party,” encouraging students to pursue jihad and martyrdom, erasing Israel from maps, and encouraging students to “liberate the homeland” with “their blood,” among other examples of incitement to radicalism.
In its new report, UN Watch called for the immediate dismissal of the teachers it identified and the implementation of a zero-tolerance policy for any future instances of calls for incitement or glorifying terrorism.

Help Save Palestinian Lives!
Hello all, Safaa has given me permission to make a post to help promote her fundraiser. She is 26 years old and a new mother. Her son is 5 months old and is named Amir. Her mother suffers from chronic diabetes and her father has recently suffered a stroke.
Tumblr media
As we move into the winter months, the displaced people of Gaza are finding it harder and harder to survive. As temperatures drop, Safaa struggles to keep herself and her son warm. Blankets and warm clothes are scarce. It is one thing to starve, another thing to starve and freeze, another thing to starve, freeze, and have to constantly flee from bombs dropped by Israel. Not even the water is safe to drink. Safaa is forced to cut pieces of cloth for her child instead of using diapers, which have skyrocketed in price due to the blocking of aid by Israel at the borders leading into Gaza. A few dollars can help save a life. A reblog, or sharing a fundraiser in your Discord, or over text with your friends and family, or elsewhere, can help save a life. These people have been struggling for over a year now, some of them have been struggling for much longer.
Safaa is vetted here. I have spoken with her myself and I believe her story. You can donate to her campaign here.
She currently only has $95 out of the her goal of $7,000 on Chuffed.
This is money that not only goes towards the funds necessary to evacuate Safaa and her family, but towards key necessities for living like food, child care products, etc. A few dollars can help feed a family for a day. When we last spoke, she told she she hasn't received any donations today. You could be the person that helps keep her and her son fed!

These are Omar(2) and Salah(5), Bilal's nephews. 8 months ago, they were enjoying the warmth of their home and being pampered by their parents and everyone in the family. The pictures below are from Omar's first birthday. Bilal told me how he was the one who prepared everything for the surprise party. He was, then, so excited to gather the whole family and give Omar a memorable first birthday and bring joy to everybody.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, Omar and Salah are going through hardships no child should be experiencing. They are surrounded by rubble and unsanitary conditions wherever they go; not to mention the random bombings that threaten their lives every moment of every day. Omar took his first steps while being displaced in a tent in Rafah. Imagine your baby learning to walk in a refugee camp under the constant buzzing of drones! The children and the whole family had to endure the cold winter and being drenched by rain in their flimsy tent, and now they have to go through the unbearable heat in the same inhumane circumstances. As if all this suffering wasn't enough, the occupation is currently asking everyone in Rafah to evacuate again, even the hospitals!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The survival of Omar, Salah, and the whole family in now more than ever at stake. Bilal has been in Germany for a year or so now. The thought that he might never get to see his beloved nephews again haunts him every day. He humbly asks for your support to help him keep his loved ones safe until he has the chance to reunite with them, hopefully as soon as possible. Please donate any amount you can spare and reblog this post. Every contribution can make a difference and restore the family's hope!

WATCH: Protesters in Raleigh dropped off letters at the state legislature Monday denouncing a post-election Republican power grab that seizes powers held by offices that Democrats won in November. Senate Bill 382 was supposed to be a hurricane relief bill for western North Carolina, which was hit hard by Hurricane Helene in September. But it mostly contains attacks on the powers held by offices like the governor, attorney general, and superintendent of public instruction — which were all won by Democrats in November’s election. It also takes oversight of elections away from the governor’s office. Demonstrators during the “Moral Monday” protest in Raleigh likened it to a “coup,” saying that it undermines the will of the voters. Gov.-elect Josh Stein has condemned the bill. So has outgoing Gov. Roy Cooper and former Gov. Pat McCrory — a Republican. Cooper vetoed the bill, but Republican lawmakers in the House are expected to consider overriding the governor’s veto Wednesday in Raleigh. Stay tuned to @cardinalandpine for updates.

“ordinary russians are not guilty of anything and shouldn't be held responsible for the actions of their authorities”
meanwhile:

ordinary russians organize safari hunting and killing Ukrainian civilians with drones
ordinary russians torture and execute Ukrainian and Syrian civilians and soldiers, filming it on camera
ordinary russians come to the destroyed occupied territories and arrange "fancy and mysterious" photoshoots like it's some kind of disneyland
ordinary russians go abroad to willingly glorify russia at pro-russian rallies
ordinary russians persecute and kill Ukrainians abroad
ordinary russians export stolen Ukrainian clothes, household appliances and cars to russia
ordinary russians buy all these stuff knowing perfectly well and seeing from the labels that these things were stolen from the houses and shops of murdered Ukrainians
ordinary russians donate to support the russian army
ordinary russians make shells and drones at factories in three shifts
ordinary russians sew equipment
ordinary russian activists weave camouflage nets, make trench candles and collect donations for the russian army
ordinary russian truck drivers bring all this to the frontlines
ordinary russians make software for missiles
ordinary russian tourists go on vacation to the russian-occupied Crimea
ordinary russians sell and buy apartments in occupied territories whose residents were killed
ordinary russians write happy comments after shelling Ukrainian homes markets hospitals and schools
ordinary russian doctors go to the frontlines to save russian soldiers
ordinary russians work in prisons and torture prisoners of war with starvation
ordinary russian teachers in the occupied territories reeducate Ukrainian children
ordinary russian social workers kidnap and take Ukrainian children to russia
ordinary russian miners extract coal for steel smelting
ordinary russian metallurgists work three shifts at blast furnaces to melt steel
ordinary russian celebrities shoot pro-russian films, write pro-russian songs and call to join the russian army
ordinary russians organize mass protests in russia against the closing of McDonald's, but not against the war
ordinary russian children draw pictures of russian soldiers brutally killing Ukrainians
ordinary russian artists in russia and abroad create pro-russian art glorifying russia and the russian army
ordinary russians create videogames that promote russian brutality and the army
ordinary russian teachers teach children to hate other nations
ordinary russian trainers prepare children for warfare and murder
ordinary russians ignore russian crimes on the territory of Ukraine and Syria as they ignored crimes on the territory of Georgia. because they believe it has nothing to do with them and it shouldn't affect their comfortable lifestyle.
should i go on?
Putin is not the cause of russian brutality, terrorism and bloodthirstiness. Putin is a consequence.
before Putin, there were other presidents, other tsars and other authorities in russia. only one thing has not changed — russian imperialism and chauvinism.
don't be silent and please continue to support Ukraine! don't let your politicians betray Ukraine, Ukraine needs help to defeat russia!

TORONTO – B’nai Brith is outraged that International Women’s Day (IWD) rallies across Canada are planning to commemorate terrorism while ignoring the violence perpetrated last October by Hamas terrorists against innocent Israeli civilians, including women and girls.
IWD, on Mar. 8, 2024, is intended to celebrate women and their contributions to society. It is also a time to advocate for women’s rights and challenge gender-based discrimination.
Instead of using this day as an opportunity to raise awareness about Israeli women and girls who were raped, mutilated, and killed on Oct. 7, or to demand the release of those still held hostage in Gaza by Hamas terrorists, some groups in Canada will be supporting their captors.
For instance, promotional materials for women’s marches in Toronto and Vancouver feature figures such as Leila Khaled, who participated in the 1969 hijacking of TWA Flight 840 and the 1970 attack on El Al Flight 219 as a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a listed terrorist entity in Canada.
Other extremists cited as luminaries of Palestinian “liberation” include Ahed Tamimi, who was arrested for attacking Israeli soldiers and later for inciting violence against Jews on social media.
“The public must see the hypocrisy in these attempts to manipulate IWD into anti-Israel propaganda,” said Richard Robertson, B’nai Brith Canada’s Director of Research and Advocacy. “IWD is a day to promote the universal struggle for women’s rights, and to celebrate women’s accomplishments – not to glorify terrorists, even if they are women. If anything, this should be a moment to express global revulsion towards Hamas’ cruel treatment of women on and after Oct. 7.
“It is profoundly concerning that some IWD organizers do not see the pain and suffering of the victims of Hamas terror as something worth acknowledging simply because they are Jewish or Israeli.”
Following public backlash, the Vancouver IWD march organizers updated a Facebook statement to express “support [for] Jewish women,” while hypocritically dedicating IWD this year to Palestinian women who have “engendered revolutionary change.”

According to the textbooks used in UNRWA schools, Jews have no rights whatsoever or any legitimate status in Israel. A Jewish presence in the country is denied historically, geographically and religiously. No reference is made in the books to the history of the Jews throughout the region, either in Biblical or Roman times. Any connection is also denied of the Jews to their ancient capital, Jerusalem, which is presented as an Arab city since its establishment thousands of years ago. The Jews' presence in Jerusalem today is bewilderingly presented in the books as an aggression against the city's Arab character.
Beyond the textbooks, both UNRWA administrators and teachers have proudly displayed their approval of terrorism and hatred on countless occasions, including Hamas's recent October 7 massacre, according to a report published by UN Watch, an independent non-governmental human rights organization, as well as IMPACT-se.
UNRWA math teacher Adnan Shteiwi, for instance, glorified Diaa Hamarsheh, the perpetrator of the March 2022 Bnei Brak shooting attack -- in which he murdered four Israeli civilians and one policeman -- as a "martyr" whose name should "forever remain in letters of fire, might, and magnificence."
UNRWA's Asma Middle School for Girls B encouraged schoolgirls to " liberate the homeland by sacrificing 'their Blood' and pursuing jihad."
Roni Krivoi, one of the Israeli hostages recently freed from Hamas captivity, reported that he had been kept prisoner in an attic for more than a month and a half, mostly starved and medically untreated. His jailer was an UNRWA teacher.
In Gaza -- as with Ahmad Kahalot, Director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital, who admitted that he was the equivalent of a brigadier general for Hamas and that 16 of the hospital's staff were also "terror operatives for Hamas" -- the mesh of Hamas and UNRWA is also illustrated in the high-profile case of Dr. Suhail al-Hindi.
Al-Hindi served as both the principal of an UNRWA elementary school and as the chairman of the UNRWA employee's union in Gaza. In 2017, UNRWA suspended al-Hindi after it received information that he had just been elected to the Hamas political bureau. UNRWA announced that al-Hindi no longer worked for the agency, but did not say whether he had resigned or been fired. Al-Hindi first said he "resigned" from UNRWA, but later clarified that he was taking early retirement.
The case of al-Hindi and other UNRWA employees suspected of supporting terrorism makes the point that UNRWA is "the money," while thug terror-groups such as Hamas are "the muscle."
UNRWA tries to keep up public pretense that its hands are clean, and has taken a belligerently defensive stance against these and other accusations, as it publicly claims that it has a "zero-tolerance policy for hatred."
The Israeli news site Ynet , however, wrote recently about a UN Watch report:
"In it, some 47 documented cases of school staff promoting antisemitic material are recorded, as school staff openly violates the official UNRWA policy... "It was only two years ago that UNRWA apologized for similar instances, claiming they were done erroneously and will not occur in the future, but with this latest report, that promise rings hollow."
One UNRWA employee portrayed Adolf Hitler in a favorable light: "Wake up Hitler, there are people left to burn."

Hello, Hala Dawoud has contacted me concerning her GoFundMe. She is a mother of 3 living in Gaza who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and cannot access the medication necessary to prevent her conditioning worsening and leaving her with permanent disability. MS attacks the nervous system, causing fatigue, loss of balance, difficulty with cognitive functioning, tremors, etc. and the body steadily deteriorates if the condition is not properly treated. Hala She needs to get to Egypt where she will be able to access the healthcare necessary to continue caring for her 3 children (Osama age 17, Lana age 13, Mohammed age 9). Please share and donate if you can. Sharing costs nothing and takes only a moment. This is a real, vetted fundraiser (#307).

My friend Bilal, from Gaza,is reaching out to the free people of the world to help him evacuate his family to safety before it's too late.
Bilal's family consists of 18 members including 4 children and 3 newborns. Two of the babies are currently in hospital. Their health is deteriorating due to the harsh conditions in their tent. The hospital they're in is overcrowded and lacks necessary equipment and medication. The doctors are doing their best but they say the babies won't fully recover if they carry on living in the same hazardous conditions.
Bilal's family had just finished building their new house in Northern Gaza when the war broke out and destroyed everything they had including his father's shoe business, which was their family's only source of income.
Trying to escape the ongoing attacks, Bilal's family kept moving from one place to another but nowhere is safe in Gaza. They are now living in a tent in Rafah city where basic amenities and adequate healthcare are denied to them. Unfortunately, the city previously described as a "safe zone" is currently under heavy bombardment and the ground invasion they have been dreading is already underway. They have been asked to evacuate once again and have nowhere to go.
With no ceasefire in sight, Bilal is endeavouring to rescue his family from the unbearable ordeal they have been experiencing. Bilal has been doing everything within his power to provide for his family but the evacuation costs have proven to be a challenge. That is why, He is humbly asking for help in raising the necessary funds to get his loved ones to safety.
Every donation, no matter the amount, can make a difference.
Sharing the link to Bilal's fundraiser campaign as widely as possible is also tremendously helpful.
Your unwavering support is the only way to achieve some sense of normalcy and stability Bilal's family desperately longs for and deserves.
