“Watch out Spock!”

But the warning came too late, the large size plant having spewed out a large burst of spores onto the unsuspecting Vulcan. Right smack on his face!

“I… I…” Spock only managed before passing out and falling to the ground.

Bones and Kirk ran into him immediately. The Doctor scanning Spock with a worried Kirk hovering over him.

“Is he…???”

“He’s alive, but unconscious.”

“Do we know the effects of, whatever that was?”

“Not until we get him to sickbay.”

“Scotty, three to beam up, directly to sickbay!”

The trio re-materialised on the ship’s sickbay. The nurses and Bones working on Spock, leaving Kirk pacing about nervously.

* Kirk had dozed off. Awaken by someone shaking him gently.

As Kirk opened his eyes, what he saw, was a half naked Spock, looking like…

“Yes, Jim, I have a tail now.” 

Lifting Kirk into his arms easily enough. Spock with a coy smirk simply told his partner. 

“You wanna try out my other changes as well?”

Kirk gulped and nodded only. Eagerly so. Totally exited hearing the word, tail.

I need codependent Danny/Jason as a little treat (for me) and I love the idea of them having some sort of instant connection the moment they meet (bc ghost stuff idk)

Danny who's been dropped in Gotham with no way home (alt universe??) and he's been here for 36 hours and having a Very bad time senses a liminal being and immediately latches onto them heedless of the fact that his new best friend is shooting at some seedy guys in an alley and goes off about how stressed he is and how he can't make it back to the ghost zone and what a bad day he's been having (and it's important to note Danny is a littol ghost boy literally hanging off of Jason's neck as he floats aimlessly) and Jason is like "who are you??" And Danny is like "oh sorry I'm Danny lol" and then just continues lamenting his woes

And honestly ? This might as well happen. Nothing about this Danny guy(is he human?) gives Jason a bad vibe and tbh he's never felt more calm and level headed before so he just keeps up his usual Red Hood patrol and doesn't even think about it when he heads back to a safehouse and feeds Danny dinner (breakfast) before crashing for half the day

The only thing I actually need is Jason meeting up with the bats for some sort of Intel meeting and they're like "uhhh who's that" and Jason is like "that's Danny." And does not elaborate (very ".... What do you have there?" "A smoothie" vibes)

And it takes them a while to realize that these two have known each other for less than 12 hours and are literally attached at the hip

if i keep seeing so many people refer to ayden as an indication of an unknown softness in pelor i will start setting things on fire. just because YOU cannot handle nuance does not mean the story of exandria has not contained it and done so consistently. in fact the first in depth interaction that any party had with pelor (vex becoming his champion) was a portrayal of him that was explicit in his complexity. taken straight from the transcript for 1x104 elysium, “[vex you] spin and look, whereas there once was a burning star-- and to the rest of [vox machina], you see the painful, endless light that averts your gaze-- it doesn't hurt your eyes as much, and you can see the faint features, the soft cheeks, the hairless head, and the bright warm eyes of he who brings the dawn. And you can see the smile there, behind the light. “there is hope.”” sunlight can warm you and burn you in equal measure.

that burning image of the sun has much in common with a teenage boy who steps into a dark room, and reminds the dm that it’s not dark. the same way that a teenage boy who stands by as a woman who will not give up her worship of pelor is punished because he has more important responsibilities he must honour has much in common with a seemingly benevolent lord of the dawn might respond harshly to a cleric who asks if he is worth saving while he is trying to find a way to survive so he might keep helping to provide light. the gods aren’t simple and they never have been. i am as psyched about the particular angle that downfall is taking as anybody but it is already frustrating watching people act like the gods are suddenly more nuanced because they’re in literally mortal bodies when the entire Point of the gods in exandria in the various stories we’ve seen so far is that the only difference they have with mortals is the bounds of their power. they carry all the same flaws and the same profundity. just because so much of the fandom has reduced that to black and white flatness or faulty mapping onto real world religions (or the various traumas those might have caused individuals) doesn’t mean that complexity has been missing at all from the story.

“Boooones!” Kirk whined. “Fix it!”

“Yeah Doc, fix it!”

Spock having regressed into a more human kid than Vulcan and was being as bad as Kirk. Short from stomping his tiny feet, throwing a tantrum right beside his best pal Jim.

“Hold your horses Jim, Spock! This isn’t exact science after all. Trial and error only as I’ve got no idea if this remedy works or not.”

McCoy having concocted a hopeful antidote for the strange energy field having caused the landing party to revert back to childhood.

“And you call yourself a doctor!”

“A quack more likely!”

The two having complained ever since turning to kids. 

Bones having officially had it.

“That’s it! You two, into your rooms. Now!”

McCoy barked angrily and rather authoritatively.

“But, but…”

“Yeah what gives, Doc?”

“Now!”

The two shaken, taken aback, but heeded the angry Doc’s order leaving for their rooms while mumbling their objections.

“Good. I can finally work on this concoction in peace!”

Bones went back to work, no doubt about fixing the issue soon enough.

“Finally able to hear my own thoughts… damn snot-nosed brats!”
