Being someone who identifies as aromantic and might be on the asexual side as well, I disagree with the argument that shipping Marinler romantically is aphobic. To me, it's another version of accusing someone of homophobia for not shipping Mariner with Jennifer. Besides, Boimler and Mariner have no major love interests after Barb and Jennifer, so I can see why people would be interested in shipping two people who share multiple episodes together. Also, shipping Marinler isn't harming anyone; it's not like Boimler is exclusively gay or Mariner is exlcusively lesbian and we also got Boimdi, Mariford, and Boi'lyn for platonic boy/girl friendships too.
