Yes, I support factkins. I'll explain to you why.

I know that factkins are very misunderstood and hated by a large part of our community. That's why I say to you:

If you don't want to get into the debate, keep scrolling, and don't read the whole post, that's okay.

If you want to share your positive or negative opinion, do it with respect. Any disrespectful or mean comments will be deleted. Hate towards haters will not be tolerated either.

I never understood the hatred towards factkins.

A factkin unwittingly identifies himself as a specific individual who exists or once existed in the past. It is a non-physical identity (maybe sometimes also physical?).

A factkin doesn't always identify as a human! A factkin can identify as his cousin's pet bird, he's still a factkin.

This identity can come from a psychological, spiritual, etc. source.

So why are they so poorly integrated into the community while it is an identity like any other, after all?

It is often because of this misinformation: Being factkin is illegal. The first person to say this thought factkins were stealing their facttype's identity. That's not the case.

The vast majority of factkins don't steal beings's identities. They don't dress up and claim to be their real type in public. They only identify as them. That's all. So it's not illegal.

The majority of beings who know factkins are alter/nonhumans or support our community. You are litteraly reading a text written by an animal person. You don't call me weird though. Alter/humanity is in general a weird concept, let's not hide that. And anyway everyone is weird in their own way, so if the norm is to be weird then we are all normal.

A factkin doesn't choose their identity. By saying that, you're shaming them, even though they're not to blame. And anyway, the vast majority are not going to come to their factype and say "hey, I'm you too" because they are lucid. They know that this moment will surely be quite awkward, especially if his type does not know about alter/nonhumanity.

"This is not ethical!!"

Again, it is not their fault, their identity is involuntary. They don't hurt anyone, even if it's considered "inconvenient" or "morally unacceptable"...

"It goes against my religion/ spirituality..."

I understand that, and I'm not forcing you to believe it or support them. But respect them, it's their life, it's their feelings, they have the right to interpret them as they want.

"But factkins are not alterhumans!"

An alterhuman is an individual whose identity or part of it is alternative to humanity, to the standards of a human being. A standard human being does not identify as anything other than his or her person, right? So a factkin is an alterhuman, if he wishes to be named so.

I don't know... We're all part of the same community, we have to stick together, or at least tolerate each other. If we want to stop the hatred towards us, we must first stop the hatred in our communities. Please...

Haven't we received enough hate to call ourselves haters?...

L'unico modo che abbiamo per risolvere i problemi del mondo è riacquistare la nostra umanità, sì, perché il progresso tecnologico a cui ci stanno sottoponendo, il cosiddetto "New World Order (NWO)" non fa altro che deumanizzarci. Soprattutto le nuove generazioni. Non sono più interessate a nulla, non hanno passioni, non hanno obiettivi, non leggono, non guardano film, non studiano, non si dedicano a nessun hobby come scrittura, oratorio, palestra, musica, danza, nuoto. La tecnologia sta appiattendo l'intero sistema umano e sociale. L'empatia, l'altruismo, il rispetto, l'amore ormai lasciano spazio solo a odio, apatia, indifferenza, maleducazione.

Ogni volta il progresso è sinonimo di distruzione, allora io mi pongo queste domande: perché per progredire bisogna distruggere? Perché la tecnologia deve renderci insensibili alle emozioni, rendendoci zombie?

Dietro la vicenda di Palermo e di tutto ciò che sta accadendo da qualche anno a questa parte nel mondo ci sono tanti problemi, un iceberg, noi possiamo nasconderci dietro mille motivi diversi ma il problema più grande che li accomuna tutti è questo: il nuovo ordine mondiale. Tutto ciò che accade, accade perché politici, governatori, imprenditori e i "potenti" tutti lo vogliono. Vogliono che smettiamo di esistere, come esseri viventi, esseri umani ed esseri senzienti.

Allora come distruggere questo sistema?

Restando uniti e umani soprattutto. Dobbiamo recuperare i nostri valori e insegnarli anche otto miliardi di volte se serve alle nuove generazioni finché non capiscono che la tecnologia deve andare a pari passo con l'umanità e non prenderne il posto.

Siamo nati liberi, abbiamo il diritto di opporci, protestare e manifestare a tutte le imposizioni a cui vogliono sottoporci, senza paura e smettendola di giudicarci l'uno con l'altro.

Fictionkins can be difficult to understand. BUT I don't allow you to say they are stupid.

You have the right not to support them, but you have to explain it in a more caring way, no?

And you don't have to understand them to support them.

Your words can hurt the most sensitive people in this community. I don't like that.

You said that you consider that your past lives may come from an alternate universe. But there is a theory that there are an infinite number of universes, so there must be a universe where an anime character (for example) lives his life as it unfolds in the story created in our universe. According to this theory, it would therefore be possible that this same character lives a completely different life than the one attributed to him here.

Maybe this theory will help you tolerate fictionkins better, and if not, accept that others live their lives differently than you do.

They are as free in their heads as you are in yours.

Express your opinion in a kind manner and open the debate, if you want a constructive and intelligent discussion.

Otherwise, if you just want to send empty messages that can hurt someone, continue to call people who are different from you idiots for free, don't worry, we're not listening to you.

I don't want to create drama, but I just want to open your eyes.

You're making an entire community feel guilty by telling them that they're "diminishing the author's work", but even if that were the case, the fictionkin identity is involuntary, it's not their fault...

You have the right to don't like someone. But if you want to say it, do it intelligently and kindly. And don't forget that all alterhumans/alterbeings/nonhumans/otherhumans are equal and valid.

So since being active again I feel I need to remind yall:

I do not support or believe in fictionkin.

I follow blogs that will do fictionkin moodboards and such, but I personally do not support it AT ALL.

Here is why:

*DISCLAIMER: THIS IS ALL MY INTERPRETATION AND UNDERSTANDING AND DOES NOT APPLY ACROSS THE BOARD.*

Otherkin, in the most logical sense, falls in line with reincarnation. I believe that I was a monster in a past life. I believe I was a demon in a previous life. I believe that the origins of my soul are not human whatsoever. I don't know if my previous lives are from this same timeline or alternate universes. The memories I discover are from previous incantations of my soul. Who I am now is a combination of things I learned and forgotten from previous life cycles. I am not who I was. I am a human with a complex soul. Not a human soul. But I know I am human. I do not identify with a demon. I do not identify with a monster. I do not see myself in named demons. I do not see myself in named monsters.

I do not agree with fictionkin because the idea that a fictional character has a crossed soul with yours is just....stupid. Had an author or creator not made the character, you would never have discovered them. Creators aren't crossing into alternate universes for these characters. They are fiction. They don't exist outside a piece of paper essentially. You were never that character and never will be. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD: YOU DO NOT OWN A CHARACTER. Do you know how many fictionkin I see saying "if you kin with X, do not interact" or "blah blah my canon blah blah". Like "your canon" doesn't exist. The author created the character in a specific way. You are diminishing their work by "adding" things like sexuality, gender, etc that weren't originally written or confirmed by the creator. Quit it.

It is okay to identify with a character and their personality. After all, they are often based on existing traits. For example, I LOVE Amethyst from Steven Universe. I will cosplay her. But I WILL NEVER say "I kin Amethyst", nor will I ever say that no one else is allowed to identify with her, or that they shouldn't talk to me if they like her just as much. It is really stupid.

There really is a healthy way of understanding otherkin and an unhealthy way and to be honest, fictionkin is unhealthy.
