Haters are strange.

Take Vivziepop haters for example.

I'm not really a fan of her, but I do want her to keep making her series as it makes so many people happy.

Nothing is forcing you to like her, you can have your own opinions on her and her work. But nothing is forcing you to have her and her shows in your life, nothing is forcing you to interact with her in any way.

You don't have to click on her videos, you don't have to know anything about her work. But you choose to, even though you hate it? It seems silly to me.

You can hate on things all you want, but I doubt it'll do any good, both to you and what you're hating on.

god forbid people don’t want Helaena to die as a result of the situations she’s been forced into and the role in society that she’s never been allowed to change or explore. where in the post do they demonize her femininity? why can’t she be feminine and give her life in battle for the cause of her family

I explicitly state she deserves better than her canon death. But she also deserves better than to die in a battle.

Helaena has never been shown to be aggressive or a fighter. It’s not her character. She’s shown to enjoy embroidery and be around her children. She’s shown being gentle and caring for small creatures. She’s a dreamer. Not a fighter.

The issue I’m taking with the post is that this fandom is obsessed with having every single woman be a fighter regardless of if it fits their character. Not every woman is the same. Not every woman longs for battle and glory. And that’s ok!!

If Helaena is to get more screen time and characterization, and an opportunity to explore things outside of her role in society (that she very well may be ok with and that’s also perfectly valid), then it should fit her characterization. And battle does not fit her. The obsession with making women fight and war in order to be girl bosses and respected is the issue.

The fact that you stand there claiming that dying in a battle is a more glorious purpose for Helaena is telling. You only see traditionally masculine things as valid shows of strength and that’s why you want every woman who doesn’t ascribe to them to be changed. Because god forbid a woman be gentle and feminine and kind and not be screaming and charging into a fight.

This is an important thing that I am requiring myself to put out for my community to see.

I have been getting anonymous users sending hateful replies and "debunkings" to me in general, but specifically about my post about LGBTQ+ penguins, and the aroace penguins. I have been accused of lying so many times, and that implies that a lot of people view my content. So here is a disclaimer to me and my small community. If I get something wrong, send me an article so I can avoid mistakes like this in the future, don't send hateful comments or remarks, as I try my hardest to fact check. And, It is very likely that there is at least one asexual penguin, because some animals are born without sexual instinct, and likely many animals have sexual trauma, causing them to not indulge in sexual activities. But, the point of this post is that if YOU spread hate to ME or my community, you are not welcome here, and I don't accept you.

Tour goes on, jazz band, white-water kayak course, aquarium, skateboard park, and man's getting relaxed until golf cart crests ridge and landscape beyond is blasted rock, pock-marked from impacts, clouds of corrosive gas drifting over it, flames spurting from cracks, surrounding a great peak cloven as if by a huge axe, the chasm lit by the lava lake boiling within it. Damned souls climb the sides on fingers scraped and burned raw, only to be plucked from the rocks and hurled back into the fire by a great, scaly Demon with huge horns, tattered, bat-like wings, four arms and a whip covered in red-hot spikes.

Man sits bolt upright and screams.

Demon says: "Don't worry! Don't worry. Nothing to do with you, that. Not your problem. You're not going there."

Man turns to stare at Demon.

Demon explains: "That's the American Evangelicals."

Demon tells him: "We put it in specially for them. They insisted!"
