regina spektor is a violent zionist, but i don't think it's constructive or honest at all for people to be like "well her art was always bad anyway." some terrible people have made great art. This idea that artists with unsavory morals can't make good art (1) only feeds into some people's mindset that if they dislike something, that MUST mean there is something ideologically wrong with it, and (2) some people then take longer to realize the true colors of their favorite artists because... good artists can't be ethically bad right?? and so they hang on to their faves and pretend they are so righteous and defend their every move when sometimes. sometimes you just gotta accept that your favorite art was made by somebody you don't agree with, and you have to identify how much you are willing to support someone like that and what lines you have that can't be crossed

as far as I know there's been no confirmation on whether it's going to be next year's Halloween event or a separate thing (the snow makes me think it'll be more Christmas-themed, or otherwise more related to the plot of the original movie) so. we're probably going to have to wait quite a while before we find out anything solid. :') they really do love just dropping these things on us and then watching us go absolutely wild with speculation while they watch like

"Moxxie. Ah' like that." His smile was wide, gold tooth practically gleaming in the stage lights. If everything else hadn't given him away, that was quite the token of the performer, along with anyone that worked under Valentino. "Ah' get it, though. Ah' like tah' sing, too. Ain't able tah' do it nearly enough though." Because it wasn't what sold. Porn sold. Sex sold. Dancing sold, when it came with the territory of sex. But singing? Hit or miss.

He raised an eyebrow as the other started talking again, a hand placed on his hip, upper two crossed. Lips twitched into a smirk at the question, a soft laugh leaving him almost immediately after. "Heh, don't worry, there ain't no such thing as privacy when yeh' a celebrity." The only grace he really got was when he was in the Hotel, and that was only because Charlie was the Princess of Hell and weren't going to let people disrupt his down time.

"Trust me, ah' don't mind too much." He's dropping the duffel bag then, stretching his arms above his head, revealing more slender tummy even beneath the already revealing crop. "Ah'm used tah' walkin' down th' street and gettin' yelled at, so yeh' already bein' a lot more respectable than most." Eyes sparkled a bit in amusement. "But yeh' ain't gotta be so formal. Yeh' can call me Angel. Or Angie." A grin, before waving a hand around. "So, other than th' great acoustics, what brings yeh' here? They didn't say anyone was rehearsin' before me."

Moxxie had to do a double take when he got a better look at the sinner. The spider looked familiar, way too familiar to be a stranger at least. But no name was coming to mind just yet. The imp laughed nervously but sincerely at the compliment, rubbing the back of his horn, “Heh, thanks. I love singing. I don’t usually get acoustics like this. Thought I’d use them– I’m, eh. I’m Moxxie.” he offered his hand to accept to shake. Angel was taller than Moxxie, by a lot. So he stood on the tips of his hooves.

Usually he was slow to trust sinners. Past experiences with them, but something about this one– maybe his familiarity, maybe his openness towards Moxxie– led him to be social. Moments after the handshake, it struck him. The pink fluff, the two sets of arms, that accent so much like his own family’s. He was used to hearing it say...well, lewd things. But it was familiar enough that he would know it anywhere.

“You don't have to answer this if you don't want to. I respect your privacy. But you wouldn’t happen to be… Angel Dust, would you?” he asked. If he was Angel Dust and not in the mood to honor questions, Moxxie would drop the topic.
