Sam: What is wrong with Tony? Steve: He got sad when he invited me to a date and I told him I was married. Sam:... But he's married to you. Steve: I know Sam: Then why is he moping? Steve: he's drunk Tony: You could've just say no! Steve: I'm married to you, Tony!

Thinking of Steve calling Tony 'Iron Man' when he's not wearing the suit and Tony feeling things

It is currently 6:30 in the morning and I am very tired and my back hurts but I can't stop thinking about Stony so here's some hcs!
(Under the cut :)
-Of course Tony flirts mid battle
-When Steve gets embarrassed or flustered, his ears go red, and he fiercely denies this.
-Steve and Tony's first kiss was at the end of Avengers one when Tony leaned over and pressed a kiss to Steve's cheek, saying: "Thanks for the help, Rogers." Not at all expecting that Steve was gonna give him a smooch back and both men thought about that all night.
-Tony fell first, Steve fell harder.
-Tony loves Steve's stretch marks on his stomach from when he became a super soldier, and he loves to trace over them.
-Steve does NOT like this and giggles the whole time.
-Steve always needs to have some part of him on Tony to ground himself, like a hand on his shoulder or an arm around his waist.
-Steve loves to tease about being able to pick up Tony but Tony can pick up Steve as well.
-Tony and Steve shower together because Steve, used to growing up poor, wasn't about to let any water go to waste from taking two showers, and Tony's are long as hell. Even though Tony has said that Steve doesn't have to worry about it anymore, he takes the shower with him anyway.
-Steve and Tony CONSTANLY talk and tease each other about who's actually older. A lot of people, when talking sense, physical and mental, say Tony, when being funny, they immediately say Steve. The couple themselves, although, still aren't settled.
-When holding Tony at night, sometimes Steve just gets such overwhelming surges of love for Tony it makes his toes curl.
-Both men cried on their wedding day/pos
-Tony has a necklace to put his ring on when he's working in the shop. He hates getting it dirty.
-When Steve is feeling really fond of Tony, he calls him Anthony. When he's pissed, he calls him Stark.
-Tony talks to Steve in Italian sometimes, and Steve finds it very attractive, so much so that he sometimes factory resets and starts babbling in Irish Gaelic.
-Steve is camera shy, but Tony loves taking pictures and videos of him.
-Steve often gets worried about Tony's heart, so he rests his head on his chest or checks Tony's pulse, passing it off as gentle touch. Tony knows.
-Both Steve and Tony like to watch movies together but Tony thinks Steve talks too much.
-Steve doesn't like doing much for his birthday so Tony always does much for his birthday.
-Tony is like a kid on Christmas, so Steve always makes sure to get him one or two big presents to open. Something like snacks or something not necessarily an "adult" present. He knows Tony would find that a lot more fun.
-Tony likes doing interviews with Steve. It's an excuse to fluster him on camera and for everyone to call them cute.
-When Tony talked about wanting a kid, Steve practically burst at the seams, he was so happy.
-Steve gets absolutely lost in Tony's eyes he's thinks they're so beautiful.
-Tony, on physicality, thinks Steve is drop dead gorgeous, and Steve thinks Tony is the most adorable hot man to ever walk this earth.
-"STARK! >:(" "Yes, dear?"
-Steve is bisexual Tony is unlabeled, but when asked, he says he's gay for his husband.
-They absolutely love calling each other their husband. Steve was big on doing it later into their relationship before they were married.
I MAY MAKE MORE 🗣🗣🗣

Tony Stark is a biter. In kindergarten he used to bite children who took his favourite toys without asking. When he had to fight without the suit for the first time and got overpowered he won because he took his opponent by surprise and bit into his arm. He bites Rhodey (affectionately) when he lets his guard down.
The only reason Steve Rogers isn't permanently covered in bite marks is the superserum, because Tony Stark will bite every inch of his body when they fuck.
He is a menace.

Steve and Tony's different views on money is just facinating.
Tony views money as a non-worry. Anything that he physically wants he can get. If he wants it, he will get it. Nice watch bought and paid for. Money its nothing more than something that he has. Like tap water.
Steve sees money as the biggest thing to worry about. Having enought to eat, to keep warm, and to last to the next paycheck. Its the most important to track. Every penny is tracked.
They regulary clash on anything with money. Tony wanting to spoill Steve at after all he has been through. Steve on the other hand not wanting to be spollied as he's used to not having a lot. This is mainly in things such as Tony giving Steve a nincer viersion of somethign he has like a suit. Steve in turn does his best to aviod recieving gifts at all.
It is'n't until Nat one day points out that Tony shows that he cares by giving gifts as that's what he was raised to show as affection. And that what Tony is doing is showing that he cares about him. That completely changes how Steve see's Tony. Not tossing money around all the time, but showing that he cares.
Nat also tells Tony to let up on the gift giving as Steve see's it as showing off. That coming from a poorer background means that Steve's sees cash as a tool to be used carefully and not everywhere. Tony now gets why Steve didn't want his gift not out of what they were, but what they represented.

consider:
an au where tony has been a vampire for hundreds of years and has resigned himself to the idea of immortality. it’s lonely, and just the thought of it is exhausting, but it is what it is, and he doesn’t particularly have a death wish despite the endless centuries of finding and losing people he cares about.
sometime in his fourth century of being undead, he becomes an avenger. he meets captain america. he and steve become friends. eventually they become more than friends.
after they start dating, tony exclusively feeds on steve instead of relying on blood bags. steve heals quick, after all. he has plenty of blood to spare for his lover.
slowly, gradually, the serum running through steve’s veins cures tony’s vampirism.
tony finds a new wrinkle on his face one morning. he feels drowsy at night instead of during the day. he develops a bit of a tan.
his heart starts to beat again.
he and steve grow old together.

civil warrior is the most emo variant of Steve and i love him for it. he literally believed that the civil war going on in the battle realm was just, like, a nightmare specifically made to torture him:

(dialogue from marvel: contest of champions.)
i imagine he’s the type of person to actively worsen his own injuries because he doesn’t believe he deserves to heal.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you- *intense drumroll*- BABY BOY ON A BIKE! ⬇️
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I always forget the fact that Steve canonically rides his bike around a lot. It's a part of him, like his shield. But I have a headcanon that his Daddies are the ones that fix/service it for him. (He's obviously capable of doing it himself but he likes when they insist they fix it for him bc he's spoiled like that). So, when he's not painting or drawing, he goes to Tony's garage, sits back in a pair of denim shorts and a crop top, sipping on a strawberry smoothie while his Daddies fight over who gets to fix Steve's bike this time.

We all know Steve sketches Tony while he's working in his lab.
But I'd like to add:
Tony remodeling his lab so the tiles form small shields with the star.
(kinda like the sun in Rapunzel)

In Avengers during the lab argument scene Cap says to Tony, "and I've seen the footage, the only thing you fight for is yourself." And then Tony just has these sad eyes.
Tumblr media
I know this can be referencing multiple things, Tony is far from perfect. My mind always goes right to IM2 when Tony is very publicly falling apart, and I can't stop thinking about Tony being ashamed/embaressed that his childhood hero and idol saw him at his lowest and is (in Tony's mind) judging him for it. Like Tony just lowkey having a mental breakdown over Cap seeing the tapes of him being drunk and dangerous. The thought of Steve looking down on him brings back all of his alcoholic demons and he has to repeatedly tell himself he is more than that, he can be better than that—but thinking Cap sees him as that just makes it harder for him to hold on to sobriety, because feeling like he's already seen as trash makes Tony think fuck it, I might as well be...
You know, because Tony has mental stability and would definitely not be bothered at all by being called out as a drunk selfish asshole by the one person he grew up constantly being told was perfect, and had all the attention and adoration he so despratly wanted.

I have this silly idea… lets imagine Loki (Gamora and Nebula too) can be free from Thanos and infinity war doesn’t happen at all.
Thanos influence wilted and died at some point and the universe is free of that ugly wrinkled wet paper tissue of a titan.
Loki’s punishment after the avengers wasn’t staying in a cell at Asgard, instead he was forced to do a sort of “community service” in Midgard.
Meaning: helping the Avengers and however of the team needed his assistance on missions.
He could do magic but restricted, of course. He couldn’t do malicious or destructive magic (nor illusions) at all.
Except at enemies and in that context it was also more controlled.
That didn’t stop him from annoying the team sometimes.
Doing mischief is in his name, a little bit of jokes and games is expected, right? On his own words he does it to “spice things up”
One of those things was making Steve stop talking for a while. Making him partially mute. In a harmless way of course.
(It sounds worse than it actually is)
Loki’s reasoning is that Steve talks and expresses more of what others expect of him than talking his mind. He got used to going through the motions, and being by himself, only caring when other people are in danger/at risk. Once they got to Bucky it was making sure Bucky was okay and comfortable.
He wants Steve to unwind for once in his life. And of course making him a little bit embarrassed. Its fun watching him blush and splutter after all.
For missions and work he can talk perfectly fine. In dire circumstances too. But on a normal Thursday?
Without the weight of the world on their shoulders? That’s fair game to him.
This little trick works this way:
Only some of Steve’s thoughts can be voiced out loud, but they’re completely out of context (of his train of thought) or uttered in the most inconvenient of times as they come (if Steve is screaming inside it will be voiced that way out loud).
Only him (Loki) and Steve can hear all of what the captain is trying to say and communicate that way if Loki is feeling like it. (Loki is not going to invade Steve’s mind more than that, even if its really tempting)
And Loki is so entertained by all of it (the mind of the captain, the endless confusion of the team, the jealousy that some of them feel, the discussions that seem unilateral but are really funny to him and make him laugh out loud) that he started to bring a bag of popcorn and soda everywhere.
Tony: Ok, So… how are you doing cap? Still can’t get a complete sentence yet?
Steve: Im so tired of this, and yes Tony I still can’t talk normally.
Loki: ohhh? My my Captain… Are you still trying to find a way out of it? You can’t. You’ll need to get used to it.
Steve: Fuck you Loki
Tony: LANGUAGE!
Steve: not you Tony. Loki!
Bucky: shut up Tony!!
Steve: i want to talk Loki! Let me talk, this is ridiculous.
Tony: no robocop, YOU shut up!
Loki: No. this is too entertaining, you think i want to end one of the only things that gives me joy? You’re out of luck Steven.
Steve: ughhh, fuck me… I hate you so much sometimes Loki
Bucky and Tony: WHAT?!

Steve's love language being acts of service: bringing Tony lunch into the office, getting him coffee into the lab. Carrying all 4 grocery bags in one hand, to hold Tony's (who is carrying none).
Learning the names of new tech and his studies so that he can be Tony's assistant and hand him the right tools and help him sketch models.
Tony on the other hand is praising him relentlessly through it, calling Steve Sweetheart, Darling, Handsome. Saying: you're doing amazing, thank you, baby, I love you, Good Boy. And Steve finds out that maybe he also likes words of affirmation. Even though Tony only calls it his praise kink.
