PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! ANY DONATION WILL HELP! It doesn't matter how small, if everyone pitches in, we can help these families from starvation!
Tumblr media
There is a fire in my heart that no one can see‼️
This is the Third time I’ve lived through the brutality of hunger its harshness, its silence.
I walk through the streets of the city and find nothing to feed my children.
🩸The first time was last year, when I documented my situation holding onto a piece of bread after over a month of deprivation.
🩸The second time was 6 months ago when I brought some flour for my family and I was very tired because it was a very long walk.
🩸Now, I’m reliving that same pain.
The helplessness before my children, the heartbreak, it feels like I’m failing as a father. This is the very definition of powerlessness. I am of no use to them.💔💔
*Do you feel the weight of this hunger in my heart?
*Can you hear the cries of my children’s empty stomachs?
*Is anyone out there listening?
*Can anyone help us or Or convey the voice of this hunger to those who can help us?
Please donate, we are in dire need of your humanity. I hope you will not leave us to die in this harsh hunger. We want to feel that there is someone we can rely on to lighten this burden a little.
My campaign is verified on Gazavetters under # (88).

favorite Steve moment? (you can do top five if necessary)
Oh maaaaan. Argh. So many to choose from!
MCU!Steve:
1. Jumping on the grenade. Steve diving on the grenade is the moment where you see that he doesn’t even need the serum to be Captain America – this guy is 100% hero, pint-sized or not. He doesn’t want to be a soldier for glory, or out of bloodthirst. He genuinely believes he has a duty to lay down his own life to save others, and reacts accordingly without any hesitation. This is honestly the moment I fell in love with this goober.
Tumblr media
2. On va voir. Not only does this moment tell us Steve speaks French – and I love to headcanon that he picked up a whole smattering of European languages while fighting, but the spiky sex hair and the glower and everything just…. unf. (Look, I had to have at least one gratuitous sexy!Steve item in here.)
Tumblr media
3. The Triskelion Speech. This is such a poignant and quintessentially Steve scene. He believes every word, and genuinely believes people will step up, but he is also fully aware of what he’s asking them for and the cost. He doesn’t do it lightly. And it’s Cap’s strength that in believing the best of people, he’s able to inspire people to bravery and courage, and bring it out in others – even when situations are at their most dire.
Tumblr media
4. The elevator scene. The flipside of Steve believing in people so much, is that sometimes, they let him down. The moments leading up to this fight, when we see Steve assessing and realizing something isn’t right are great. We see how quick Steve is to detect the signs, put the pieces together, and realize what’s going on. His awareness and his ability to size up a situation are on display here – and then, it isn’t shock or rage on his face. It’s disappointment. But he grits his teeth and he deals with it and kicks ass – not because he enjoys it, but because that’s what he’s gotta do.
Tumblr media
5. “I can do this all day.” The way it reiterates, over and over, kills me. Because if there’s one thing Steve does, it’s endure. Even when he’s getting his ass kicked, even when he’s down and out, even when his heart is breaking, Steve gets back up and keeps fighting. He always keeps fighting.
Tumblr media
Honorary mention #1: Steve’s ridiculously extra fighting style, featuing, THROWING A FUCKING MOTORCYCLE, dropkicking the shield with a 6 foot high horizontal plank, pirouetting for days, JUMPING FROM GREAT HEIGHTS WITH NO PARACHUTE, STEVE, and generally doing shit that would give Evel Knievel a heart attack. Steve is so reserved and serious so often, that the sheer absurd extra-ness of his fighting style is absolutely hilarious to me.
Tumblr media
Honorary mention #2: The friggin’ flagpole scene. STEVE IS A SMART LIL’ COOKIE. He thinks outside the box, problem solves, and isn’t dependent on his strength. Steve might have brawn, but he didn’t always, and he got by for most of his life on his wits alone.
Tumblr media
And now, Comics!Steve:
1. You Always Stand Up. This might be a Sarah Rogers line, but it’s Steve’s ethos through and through, and such a heartbreaking moment that tells us everything we need to know about how Steve became the man he is.
Tumblr media
2. “No, you move.” It’s iconic for a reason. This speech gives me chills and always will. Steve is accused of being stubborn, and he is, but not without reason. Steve isn’t stubborn for petulance or ego; Steve digs in his heels and squares off when it’s the important things – like the soul of a nation – on the line.
Tumblr media
3. Those pages from Loose Nuke. Specifically, the exchange Steve has, where he talks about how his own parents were immigrants. They are particularly relevant in today’s climate. Steve isn’t here for discrimination, and he isn’t here for warmongering. “Isn’t that why we became soldiers? To fight for a peaceful world?”
Tumblr media
4. That time Steve found an entire family squatting in his apartment and was totally chill about it and not only didn’t call the cops – he let them stay and helped them out. (Please read this whole post! It’s magical.)
Tumblr media
5. That time Steve punched Nationalism right the fuck out. I hate when people assume, because of the name and the colors, that Cap is some hyper-patriotic jingoistic blowhard. Because nothing could be further from who he actually is. Steve will put America’s people and ideals ahead of her government and iconography every time.
Tumblr media
Honorary mention: The newest issue of the Waid & Samnee run, because this is my Cap and he’s back:
Tumblr media
I know this went way beyond one favorite, but… I just REALLY LOVE STEVE, YOU GUYS.

This is a reminder to some folks that just because Steve Rogers is called "Captain America" does not mean he stood for bigotry, racism & any other republican/conservative/right-wing shit.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So if you hate women, POCs, queer & trans folks, immigrants etc etc etc... Steve Rogers would absolutely hate you.

Well I do care that you cussed, that's why I responded to you in kind. You saying im "tone policing you" is therefore inaccurate because your first response to my op was to cuss at me, and thus it was logical to assume that you weren't addressing me in any other way but aggressively. You even admit that you cussed bc you were fed up with ppl mentioning that Sam quote hence the cussing. And i didnt need to "hear your voice" to assume that you were being rude bc "fer fucking why? Go on your erroneous stucky bullshit" certainly didn't translate to "cordial ✨️ fandom 🌻 discourse😀"
I've never used Sam's quote out of context, not in ff or in my op. If ppl are using that quote to justify their "hate" for Sam or any anti-Sam rhetoric, then they're wrong bc Sam wasn't saying it maliciously. It was reasonable for him to feel that way.
I'm not sure why you're arguing with me about stucky bc whether stucky was platonic or romantic, the entire point of my OP was that some Bucky stans act as if steve dgaf about Bucky and see his ending in Endgame as a character flaw (and something to justify their hatred of Steve) rather than bad writing, which it was. Whether youre a steve fan or not, him going back to the past despite all the progress he made throughout the cap trilogy was just objectively bad writing. It's got nothing to do with whether I think stucky was romantic or not.
And "The fantasy of stucky fans thinking they'd ever be canon had y'all seeing all kindsa shit where it is not true"?? Really? That sounds just like a Marvel & Disney gaslighting response after queerbaiting fans with two popular characters with a deep history for over a decade. Bsfr.
Bucky stans who hate Steve Rogers puzzle me...
Because on the one hand, any scene/movie/show that does Bucky supposedly wrong/dirty is seen as bad writing to them. But the minute Steve's character is a victim of bad writing, they ignore that & just chalk it up to Steve being a "bad person/hero/friend." Like, we get it, Bucky is your fave, but the double standards are gross. At least be fair in your criticism.
I also saw a Bucky stan say "Steve NEEDED to leave for Bucky to grow" because "Bucky was just known as Steve's friend or was always in Steve's shadow" and I'm like.....?????
Because if I'm not mistaken,
Bucky/the Winter Soldier has always been more popular than Steve/Cap- EVEN IN HIS OWN TRILOGY! [Which is fine, I mean, even in the comics, Winter Soldier is more popular than Steve].
Bucky fans made sure to highlight Bucky & his character & storylines in whatever media available that shared MCU content like ao3, tiktok, ig etc. If anything, Steve's character was always/has always been overshadowed by Bucky.
And thirdly, "Steve was a good hero, not a good friend"?????? To Bucky?????? The man he sacrificed everything for after being rescued from the ice? The man for who Steve risked jail, his own freedom and his life?? The man he brought to T'Challa for immunity and help? The man he got therapy & psychological help for instead of getting therapy for himself after all the trauma he went through as well? James Buchanan Barnes? That James Barnes???
It's like y'all forgot the entire motivating point of all 3 Captain America movies was Bucky Barnes- which, I might add is the reason why Steve leaving in Endgame was CLEARLY bad writing. He would never leave Bucky. Not after everything he did to get his old pal back!
And, mind you, Steve's ending wasn't just the result of bad writing it was also the fact that people were shipping them & Disney + Marvel couldn't have that so they just decided to have Steve fuck off the timeline. So by Bucky stans (and any other stans) not seeing it as bad writing and using it to justify their hate for Steve, y'all are purposely ignoring and giving merit to the very anti-lgbtqia+ narrative which runs most MCU + Disney projects.
And y'all conveniently forget when Sam told him "Bucky's not the kind of man you save. He's the kind of man you stop," Steve refused to listen because he would rather die trying to save Bucky???
The MCU writers have never been fair to Steve or his character arc and it's weird to see that mcu stans, and sadly, Bucky stans are ignoring the inherent issues within the mcu & Disney, and the bad writing in favour of putting Steve down to uplift their fave.

Fixing what tag? I have not altered anything about my OP since I posted it. And I used multiple relevant tags in it, not just bucky and marvel tags.
I did mention Sam in my op, so that's why i tagged him. And the quote was not out of context because my post was about how Steve would sacrifice everything for Bucky and I used the Sam quote to highlight the fact that Steve didn't care that Bucky was now considered a dangerous assassin, but would choose to save his best friend- whether that meant his death or not.
I referenced Sam's quote. That's it. I did not criticise Sam for saying the quote. If people are contextualising what Sam said in the wrong way, then that's another issue. But I did not say Sam was wrong for saying it. And because I mentioend a quote from Sam, I tagged him.

Yeah nah, miss me with the "tone policing." How you address me is how I respond to you. You cuss at me, I'll cuss at you. Simple.
And I don't need to use certain tags to get eyes on my posts. Most of my mutuals are steve/stucky fans and they're the only ones that matter to me. Why tf would I even use the Sam tags to "be a dick in the tags" when i didnt even criticise him? Are you dense?

You're the one who reblogged my post cussing like an absolute dick, you stupid fuck. You did not just "say" to not tag Sam in a post not about him, you swore at me. Don't get mad that I'm giving you the same energy back.

Wtf. Idk where you're getting that from because I tagged steve, marvel, mcu, Bucky and everything else that was related in the OP, not Bucky & Marvel alone. I dont even know wtf the Bucky Fan club is nor am I a part of it.

The poster and you most definitely perceived it as a dig because: there was no need to bring up a justification as to why Sam said "he's not the type you save, he's the type you stop" BECAUSE I WAS NOT MAKING THE CLAIM THAT SAM WAS A BAD FRIEND/PERSON FOR SAYING THAT.
The focus was the fact that Steve would die trying to save his best friend even if he was turned into a brainwashed assassin. That's it.
The post wasn't anti-Sam. At no point did I ever say Sam was terrible for saying that. At no point did I even say Bucky was a terrible person/friend- and my post couldve been seen as "antiBucky" or whatever, when in reality, im critiquing the ability of mcu stans to consume inherently "bad writing" when it comes to characters they like & dislike.
Stop trying to make this into something it's not.

Oh I didnt realize there were strict laws about it. Sam was mentioned, so i fucking tagged him. From the moment you realized the post wasnt a dig at Sam, you should've just scrolled on and kept it moving.
And the other poster absolutely felt it was a dig at Sam, thats why they were so aggressive in the first place. If y'all are frustrated that the mcu & disney aren't taking your fave srsly, take it up with them. Don't just fucking attack people because you feel like they were talking sh*t about your fave when that line was only mentioned in reference to Steve. And because he was mentioned, I fucking tagged his name. There was nothing else to it. Literally.
Take your fucking misplaced anger somewhere else.

Sam was mentioned in my post so I tagged him. Understand this, you don't have a monopoly on what people can fucking tag on their own posts. And it seems like you DO give multiple fucks about it with the way you're fucking acting. Get a fucking grip.
You saw me mention Sam in this post and wrongfully assumed that I was somehow making a dig at him when I mentioned what he said to show how Steve didn't care about how far gone Bucky was and that he'd die trying to save him. Not once did I say "Sam was a terrible friend for suggesting that" which is what you took personally from my post. Don't take out your frustrations about Sam (however you feel about his character arc) on me. Go project your aggression somewhere else.
And your bullshit "Bucky was not his end all be all obviously when they had him go back to the past," just proves my fucking point that you dgaf about bad writing bc you're still certifying it. Steve leaving was OOC. It was bad writing period.
And I'll fucking tag Sam Wilson in any post mentioning him if I fucking want to. Tf are you on about?

The part I added about Sam was to focus on the fact that Steve refused to give up on Bucky. It was not a dig at Sam. But thanks for proving that this is what y'all mcu stans do- deflect. And can never objectively assess a character that you personally dislike. Erroneous? When all the evidence of bad writing for Steve is there for anyone with a eyes and a brain to see and understand?
Next time keep your emotions out of it. This was not a post about Sam, it's about Steve. Go get mad or fcked somewhere else.
