20th Television Animation is bringing double the fun as The Simpsons and Futurama are taking the Big Apple for the first time ever.

On Saturday, The Simpsons take Manhattan with Matt Groening and more with a exclusive sneak peek to The Simpsons first holiday two-parter special "O C'mon All Ye Faithful" coming exclusive to Disney+ this holiday season. Sunday is a double hit of Futurama with a retrospective on the series 25th anniversary and the revival with a special preview of Season 9A crashing on Hulu and Disney+ in 2025.

Still I can't get over how damn good Nora manages to return to the moments from tsc that we’ve already seen in the trilogy. And how cleverly she shows us the same moments from completely new sides

Look, let’s take a look to moment of the Foxes' game against the Trojans. I have already read this match, no, I was there, I lived it, I was breathtaking from the players rushing past, from the screams of the fans. The way Nora prescribes games is the eighth wonder of the world, which takes you to the pages and does not let you go. Never

So, I survived this match, but when Nora returned to it in tsc, and this time I was on the court again, I had to face not only the players, but also the facts that I had missed, and now they were flying at me like basketballs

There are 9 players in the Fox team. Holy shit, 9! The Trojans have 29 (or even more, idk). And when Jeremy is literally dying in the first half I'm not so shaken up by the thought of the endurance of Foxes.

9 short guys (Matt, buddy, and also Kevin - you don't count) broken both inside and out, so these guys are beating the best of the best. And then I remember myself six months ago, when I came to the first training session and died on the 30th lap of the shuttle. The coach then came up, looked at what was left of me on the floor, and asked: “What about endurance?”

Shit. I didn't even last half of what I wanted. “I just turned 18 already” I said.

The coach laughed and gave me 2 minutes of star jumps, and I died again. So what am I talking about? Foxes who play the match as best they can. Foxes who go to the bench only if they were actually destroyed on the court or, more correctly, they were given a card for destroying someone. Foxes who fucking hold on as much as anyone else can even imagine, these are my heroes. They don't wear capes, but they deserve to be loved.

A familiar face is joining the 9-1-1: Lone Star family in its fifth and final season. Parker Young (Enlisted, Suburgatory) will recur as Campbell, a Texas Ranger assigned to work alongside Carlos, first appearing in the Sept. 23 premiere (Fox, 8/7c).

“When these two guys team up, there’s a very special chemistry,” showrunner Rashad Raisani tells TVLine. “They complement each other on cases and they’re going to become great friends. They’re going to go to some very interesting places as a partnership.”

Though they initially butt heads in a brotherly sort of way, “they are great together, and the stories they tell are some of the most explosive and dynamic that we’ve done,” Raisani continues. Heck, he even sees the potential for a spinoff with these two: “I have been desperately pushing for that,” he admits. “I think that this season is going to be a proof of concept.”

Of course, Campbell’s arrival is just one way Carlos and T.K.’s lives are going to be shaken up in Season 5. Per Fox’s official logline, “On his 30th birthday, T.K. gets a surprise visit from someone from his past that could change his and Carlos’ lives forever.” What’s more, “T.K. and Carlos’ marriage is put to the test when Carlos becomes obsessed with solving his father’s murder.”
