Anyway, there’s also this thing about matching logic according to the Chinese zodiac… Which turned out to be quite disappointing in my opinion. The Sheep matches with the Pig, but the Snake can’t match the Pig, neither can the Pig match a fellow Pig… And Krystal and I are both the Pig, since we were both born in the Year of the Pig (1983 and 1995) respectively. At least Fox is the Sheep…!

It's going to be the Year of the Snake, and I want to share my contribution to the public somewhere and at the right time. It's a canvas painting called "Six Snakes and Six Colours", because the number six is a lucky number to the Chinese.

It was Burn’s Night robert burns , the night that celebrate’s Scotland’s most famous poet who died at only 37 years of age in 1796 but left humanity with “Auld Lang Syne” and poems. Here, I attempt to make a poem with zero preparation in advance, so anything could work. Krystal and Fox both find it cute and amusing.

Recently I've been going through musicology - discovering what musical instruments either sound right together or are traditionally meant to be together. So while electric guitars and bass guitars fit drum kits and/or djembes as a means of making well-flavoured music from regions that were part of the medieval Mali Empire, the shekere and the agogo mix well for a traditional Yoruba percussion orchestra, the combination of, I don't know, a tabla set and a koto might sound odd to the average music connoisseur - Not unlike the mix of a South Asian sitar and an Armenian duduk in soundtrack for a video game meant to be set in Persia, as Farya Faraji, an Iranian musician living in Quebec in Canada, pointed out in one of his most viewed YouTube videos.

While I'm still on the topic of musical instrument mixing, I do wish Online Sequencer had choices for authentic-sounding ouds, talking drums and koras.

The other day, I made some notes on my computer that described how Earthwalkers are reptilian horses and camels that jump and pounce onto their best friends like puppies (I’m talking about SF Assault™️ incase it WASN’T obvious), how R-Wings/Arwings are these exciting space planes that go pew-pew and permanently convert the existence of other things into cosmic fireworks (like it’s all Star Wars for Furries), how being in space will either freeze you or melt you and how asteroid belts are imminent danger for any vehicle passing through… And how all of that is as likely to happen as a rampaging chimpanzee randomly showing up in a space station and fleeing on the back of his best friend hippo as soon as they get pointed out (thank fuck).

• Earthwalkers don’t have an anatomy that allows them to jump, let alone over six feet in the air, nor do they have backs arched like elephants, meaning they’d hate the idea of transporting smaller living organisms on them (let alone amazonian telepaths with silky blue fur) sitting directly on their spines

• Sounds and light beams can’t exist in the space vacuum because it has no air, so no pew-pew for you action addicts

• You’re not going to become a living ice cuboid or an exploding hot mess by being in the vacuum like those fantasy films produced by Hollywood and other industries would otherwise deceive you

• Travelling through asteroid belts wouldn’t be like flying through debris of flying rocks likely to smash your windows

But don’t worry… It gets better. Both Star Wars and those colourful images of planets, nebulae and the like taken by space agencies contradict what you’d see in the real space. The former is obviously science FICTION meant for entertainment and seduction away from the real world, and the latter is meant for research and the like. What space looks like in real life… I’ve noticed more colour and vividness in silent black and white films now in the public domain.

This is far from the end of my knowledge.

I had an idea yesterday, because it was Public Domain day, initiated by them truly, the USers.

Popped Eyes. A pun on "Popeyes".

It's the name of a game I came up with where people at amusement parks can come and shoot down eyes staring and judging at them unfairly, sixteen times, and whoever succeeds wins a personalized plaque baring their name for good luck.

Ideally, it would be held on the 23th of February, a Saturday, but it's probably unrealistic. At least Krystal finds it cute.

And I'm hoping that's what the Gregorian calendar 2025 is going to be... We'll see. And yes, I am going to convince Krystal and Fox to let me feel their intimate parental love towards their little "pet" that way and I'm going to make that visualized "thought" become a reality, and it's wholesome. Honest. If I rest on Krystal's actual chest, I can both hear and feel her heartbeat properly.

Anyway, happy new Gregorian year to everyone.

This is what I was saying earlier. Earth is massive compared to worlds like Corneria and other places in the Lylat System. No wonder it takes hours to get from one corner to the other, and no wonder regions can't decide on one collective time zone or whether it's winter or summer, or either at all.

An Earthwalker is not a triceratops. Far from it, even if they look similar. It's not like they evolved from just that particular species of ceratopsian dino, either.

Chimpanzees are not monkeys or "silly" monkeys, but Hollywood won't stop calling them that. They're the savage apes. The savage apes. Bonobos are just hippie apes, and gorillas are horribly misrepresented as being what chimps in real life are.

I thought this was relevant then, and I think it's relevant now.

Apparently, it's world primate day, and if only they had adverts with fully anthropomorphic Heiho like me nd George instead of humans' closest living relatives... Not to mention Jordan Peele's NOPE, where there was a dream 1990s sitcom of a family adopting a chimp instead of our kind, like Krystal and Fox wisely do.

Earth's fascinating, but, not to sound condescending, but it is massively flawed, so I'll still stick to Corneria and the Lylat System. The latter celestial body is full of some of the best people in my life, needless to say including dear Krystal and Fox McCloud.
