Morro: *pointing at the very fast flying object hurtling towards them.* that.

Garmadon: *turns around uninterestedly to see.* hm?-

Garmadon: *look up to see his father flying full speed ahead on top of a dragon, standing with a sign saying “WELCOME SON AND GRAND CHILD, WORDS WILL BE SHARED IN THE NEXT FEW SECONDS, BE PREPARED.” In bold.*

Garmadon: *blinks up at it*

Garmadon: *picks Morro up and makes a run for it* all of our mistakes hurtling towards us, child.

Morro:…why, is your father, the First Spinjitzu master, chasing us?

Garmadon: It’s punishment in the form of torture.

Fsm: *wishes to smother them* YOU CANNOT RUN, MY CHILDREN.

Garmadon: Morro, dear child, genuinely, what is wrong with you.

Morro: *standing being half alive half not (literally half alive half dead one side of his form has a body the other does not. You can see his insides.), glowing pink, and tied to a tree as he floats upwards. He has the most blank expression known to man.* I blame Wu, and only Wu.

Garmadon: He is not even dead.

Morro: yet.

Garmadon:….what did you do-

Garmadon: Morro.

Morro: mmshshh *laying face down on the ground, just cause he can*

Garmadon: No- Morro.

Morro: what? *muffled by the grass.*

Garmadon: Child, you had a bowl cut?

Morro: *having just entered the Departed realm, bumping into Garmadon for the first time since the other was chained up*

Garmadon, who traded his clothes with Lloyd right before he left, as a last minute gift before they never see each other again: *scowls* it’s better than what you’re wearing.

Anyways the Fsm defo jumped Garm and Morro, bullied them, and smothered them in love. He’s been lonely for the past few years. No i do not take criticism this is definitely the fsm.

I miss Morro. And Sensei Garmadon. I rlly want smth on these two.

Maybe re-draw something from the Spinjitzu Brothers books? Try drawing some different characters too, so you don't get burn out by drawing the same thing.

Though I absolutely admire your artworks, adding new characters to it could keep you motivated and feeling less burnt out. But that's mostly my opinion, it's okay if you don't want to.

And as for drawing different characters, I plan on drawing Agent Stone and Robotnik soon. <3

Huh, found an older art piece of the FSM as a child

My anatomy is meh here but oh well. The eyes around him are basically the onis and the dragons. Its the pressure he felt when they were making him chose sides in a war… yikes.

Rambling below cut (and sketch!)

I hc he ran away when he was 14-15. This is him as a kid, basically 14. Also, i thought it’d be fun if he looked like both his sons hence the two toned hair (personally think he made his kids asexually btw cause its hilarious)

I also like to think hes a lot like BOTH his sons personality wise.

ANYWAY that moment when trauma hits you like a truck. As a child soldier, you are robbed of your childhood (lloyd parallel fr) and then you run away making 16 realms, 2 kids and possibly humans as well. You ingrain it into your everyday life and never realise your coping methods are unhealthy until you suddenly realise you’ve hurt your sons, but its too late by then.

My angst material is focusing on the generational trauma here btw

I mean FSM runs from the pressure from everyone around him -> Wu and Garmadon feel pressure to uphold their fathers expectations and everyone elses -> Lloyd trying to uphold expectations from everyone around him…

(Also, so fun cause my lloyd design looks like his grandfather, OOF think of the parallels is what i’m saying)

So how old was the First Spinjitsu Master when he invented Spinjitsu? Because we see him use it in the Legend of Nyad, and the Keepers, as well as Imperium Source Dragon, refer to him by that name. Was Spinjitsu something he created in the First Realm??? Was he like 10 when he made it???

Something something Lloyd affectionately biting people cause Oni are known cannibalists and he can’t help it so it became a sign of affection until after the whole crystallised situation happened he has a panic attack and freaks out and bites a bloody chunk out of Wu’s hand. And in the complete silence of a frozen group of ninjas with a horrified Lloyd held by an equally horrified Cole, Wu pulls a batman and goes “Hm.” The skin between his pointer and thumb laying on the ground.

Turns out, Wu has an identical bite scar his opposite hand from Garmadon.

He also has one on his forearm from a wild Misako. Don’t ask why, she’ll say self defence, but he says it’s from a wild animal attack.

Edit: it runs in the family (Wu used to bite the Fsm and once accidentally bit Morro, who was so baffled he just bit back???)

So: Divine Intervention au

Okay so this isn’t rlly an au anymore bc I haven’t even thought about it for several months but I was at point insanely invested (despite how out of control it got)

So: apocalypse. The Great Devourer busts out the ground and starts eating everything, as you do, and people freak the hell out bc her venom is turning ppl into zombies n shit. But like barely a few hours in, this giant green comet shows up and the GD just. Goes back to bed. No one knows why and there are still zombies all over the place

Anyways Kai and Nya meet Cole, Jay, and Zane, who have their own tiny camp. All five of them awakened elemental powers during the initial outbreak, so they decide to stick together. This goes on for a few months until Kai finds this tiny, weird little mute kid in an abandoned village. He doesn’t want to just leave him, so he takes the kid with him. Then a bunch of zombies show up on their doorstep, tiny mute kid blasts them to hell and heals an infected bite on Jay, and passes out

So, obviously, this kid is Lloyd. I leaned insanely hard into this whole divinity thing so here’s his weird lore from what I remember: FSM, after getting booted outta Ninjago via kicking the Overlord’s ass for Cosmic Balance, discovers the MF left a little surprise: GD. He doesn’t want his world to go to shit, so he makes smth of his own: Lloyd. Now, he doesn’t ever intend for Lloyd to become sentient. He’s essentially trying to make a sleeper agent to go in, kill the GD, and dissipate into the universe. But Lloyd has the green element, which gives him sentience, and FSM’s like “damn. Guess I have a grandchild now. Fuck it we ball ig”. So Lloyd’s placed in this weird magic egg to incubate for like 500 years (FSM tried SO HARD here) during which FSM basically imparts all his knowledge of the universe on Fetus Lloyd. Bro knows like 20 different dead languages. Anyways Lloyd’s egg thing is sitting in the Golden Peaks (same place FSM made golden weapons) and fucking Pythor somehow finds out ab it and shows up and breaks the fucking egg like 3 centuries too early. He uses Lloyd to wake up the GD early, and Lloyd is in fact the weird comet thing. He like wakes up in this crater and Weird Voices in his head are all “hey you should go find the core five” (Nya is a core element here idaf)

Anyway he gets his memories back kinda sorta and they all decide “fuck it why not” and take him to central Ninjago where Garm and Wu are. They train, Lloyd goes to kick the GD’s ass, and unfortunately (bc he was born way too early so his body physically can’t handle all the golden power and green element) loses his body and sentience. Ninja are like “nuh uh” and go to the sacred realm (where gods live and FSM is) to get him his body back. The end ig trust me this is the less dramatized version I was on crack. Anyways divine Lloyd for the win legooooooo

Oh yeah forgot so the Ouroboros of Life was basically the one who started the whole element thing? She gave Firstbourne, FSM, and Lloyd the GE and is the one to give him a new body FSM is just the one introducing them lmao

okay i have to say i am actually a strong defender of Snake That Makes You Evil. it sounds stupid on paper but thats only if u take it at face value? i do actually think the concept is crazy good what with the venom slowly corrupting how garmadon thinks about things and him being fully aware but unable to stop it.

its also not Just the venom that makes him evil. in the spinjitzu brothers books you can actively watch the fsm and wu and… really EVERYONE around garmadon become more and more wary of him despite not much really changing. it becomes a permanent blight on him that he is repeatedly told he needs to cure. but he hasnt really even changed in his own eyes

i personally prefer it to have been a pure fateful accident but the involvement of the overlord in the bite makes it arguably even more tragic. it becomes more than a childish mistake. garmadon was doomed from the moment he was born.
