ANYWAY that moment when trauma hits you like a truck. As a child soldier, you are robbed of your childhood (lloyd parallel fr) and then you run away making 16 realms, 2 kids and possibly humans as well. You ingrain it into your everyday life and never realise your coping methods are unhealthy until you suddenly realise you’ve hurt your sons, but its too late by then.

So Kokichi lowkey starts doing the same thing, and tells people to pick up after themselves like he didn’t just leave a plastic bottle on the ground ten or so minutes ago.

This trip also lets Rayna be out to study the weather more often, like how hurricanes form, tides, clouds, waves, all that stuff she loves it, even if Kokichi says it’s hella boring.

Constantly invites Rayna to get ice cream with him, she always says “maybe later” or “another time” but he’s actually so bummed out not even Gonta buying him ice cream will cheer him up

Caitlyn Is Constantly Underestimated

Something that I (and probably other Caitlyn fans) have noticed is how often and constantly Caitlyn is underestimated by everyone she meets.

Her parents, especially her mother, genuinely love her and want to protect her from danger. But they never fully supported her job as an Enforcer, her mother being more open about her disapproval. And her flashback as a child implies that her parents had a habit of paying off her competitors so she could win. They may love her, but their actions also show they don't fully respect her.

However, when Vi calls him out on his inaction, he doesn't defend it and looks away in shame.

Marcus and the other Enforcers see her as nothing more than an entitled, rich brat only taking up being an Enforcer out of boredom. Marcus doesn't even try to hide his contempt of her and when she tries to engage in conversation with other Enforcers, they smugly deny her the chance.

While not elaborated on, a teen Caitlyn calls herself a "misfit", implying she was friendless and ostracized since she was a young child.

Jinx only thinks of her as some "stupid Enforcer" who "stole" Vi.

When they first meet, Vi is nothing but rude and belligerent to Caitlyn for her background and doesn't think much of her. And while her opinion of the Piltie changes, their breakup in the rain further shows Vi still has a mindset of (to an extent), underestimating Caitlyn - Vi thinks they won't work out and tells Caitlyn to forget her.

I think this trend will continue in Season 2. Most of everyone she interacts with, will only see her a naive child with no idea how the world works. I think something will happen to Caitlyn to shed the last bit of naivety she had in season 1. And I think it will ultimately lead her to saving both cities. Now, I have a theory that Caitlyn will play a key role in stopping the conflict between Piltover and Zaun for a number of reasons:

It's been about a year since I started posting fanfic online. Woweeeeeee

Time for a personal update!

I gotta say, I am pretty proud of how much my writing has improved since those early posting days. Of course, I would be writing now but, yaknow. Fatigue.

On that note, I feel inspired and excited to write write write. Just don't have the...mental and physical ability to do so.

So yeah, I say that my physical and mental health is "good," but maybe that's more because I am in a place of relative calm, understanding, and acceptance of my current condition. I'm tired as fuck. But I am figuring it out.

Number 1 "problem" with getting more rest is that my small business is doing really really well. I finally found a way to turn clients away in order to focus on my health but dammit if I'm not a sucker when I come across an Ideal Client. I can't say no. Soooo I just took on 2 more clients because ahhhh it's my real life passion, I guess?!

Other "problem" is not so much a problem as it is an understanding. I'm realizing that as a parent of elementary-aged children, I am not only doing the required feeding/cleaning/homework/etc stuff for my kids, but I'm also like...their only connection to the outside world? Sounds stupid that I'm just now realizing this but hell. If they want to hang out with their friends, or go to birthday parties, that is now also *my* social life. They are too little (obviously) to take themselves anywhere, and still slightly too little for me to drop them off anywhere except with very very trusted adults.

I am not at all resentful of this. In fact, I like being this supportive and involved in their lives. It's just literally if there's a birthday party on the weekend, that's all I have energy for. No grocery shopping. No cleaning. No writing. It's the birthday party, and napping. And so this goes for everything. And I want to show them the world. And give them the best. So I do.

I also realized recently that the election results last November sent me into a bit of a tailspin. I kind of buried my head in the sand, as it were. I'm a bit embarrassed about it tbh but I had one of those "i don't want to be in this timeline anymore" moments and just fucked off to Stardew Valley. I am still struggling immensely with it. I want to be well-informed but for real, I don't know if I can physically take the stress.

Related: turning inward and spending time with my family has actually allowed me to find a bit of balance with health stuff. I know fatigue is still an issue, but my nausea is being managed pretty well, and further diagnostic testing is coming ever so soon. I've managed to walk my kids to school these past two weeks, so the bit of light activity feels like a good thing. And I've managed to catch up with my friends, and spent two awesome weeks with my bro, and that has all been so good for me.

Anyway, this is feeling rather disjointed and rambly now lol. All of this to say: I hope I can get some writing time in tomorrow (cross your fingerrrrrssss) and maybe some on the weekend because there are no birthday parties lmao

I got just got a very random thought (that's what all the fluff does to my brain hehe^^) and I'm also very weak to platonic family HCs but..

I think Panta would make a decent father (for a Harbinger ig.. If that counts?). Mockinbird by Enimem lyrics perfectly describe how I see him as a father lol. I think rough childhood in poverty, plus fact he's one of harbingers will make him very reluctant abt becoming a father but reader is there to reassure him ofc^^

And exactly bc of his rough childhood he'll do everything he can to protect his child from going through the same stuff as he did. Will he spoil them? Yes, most likely. Reader will have to take role of "strict" parent bc he just can't resist their c/n's cuteness- (child's name)

But! Endless wealth also allows to invest into studying and hobbies. You want to do art? Become a sculptor? Learn more languages? Anything else? Well, you'll get it. I think other harbingers adore you too. He's not a big fan of you spending too much time around his co-workers, especially when some of them are insane (COUGH COUGH Dottore COUGH COUGH), but they end up loving you. On more melancholic note, he'll never let you to get and use a delusion, no matter how much you'll plead for it, if/before you're blessed with a vision. He knows what delusion does to person's body and mind, there's no way (in any cycles of Samsara) he'll let you go through it

On more bright note, if you actually receive a vision he's delighted. For your training to wield it you'll get the best quality weapons and coaches. Whatever weapon you choose, you'll wield it amazingly, thanks to training

And on angsty note... I don't think c/n will spend all of their time in Snezhnaya... So imagine them meeting Traveler at one point, outside of their homeland. Maybe even after Signora's tragic passing. C/N battles Traveler bc he/she killed someone C/N deemed their family member! Of course C/N loses and they're ashamed and scared. What if they're not strong enough to protect their loved ones? Fatui agents will inform lord Harbinger about these events and after a good scolding for putting yourself in danger, both of c/n's parents will comfort them^^

Summing it up, I think Pantalone would make a good dad. Not the best one, of course, but no one's truly perfect

I too believe that he would make a good father, one of the best out of the Harbingers (Childe easily takes number 1.) He knows what it’s like to struggle as a child in many aspects so he would definitely treat his kid with love and respect. And yea his biggest issue is how much he spoils his kid🥺 bro does NOT have a limit (I can just imagine you scolding him for spoiling the kid so much and he’s just like 🥺 the whole time)

good morning. i skipped two days of writing to be precise. why?

it's because too much was going on. 13th aug was fine

yesterday there was earthquake of around 5.2. the whole building got down, especially the ones living the upper part of the building cuz we wouldn't have much time to survive.

secondly, mom found out that i text people on messenger and also saw me sent out some pictures.

to be precise some VERY DECENT pictures, like just my face. and the chat history? FULLY DECENT DAMN NICE chat history. still i got like a "ultimate warning" from my parents and they also made me deactivate my acc and block the guys b4 doing that. i felt super bad for them. cuz

i'm ahanaf's only bff and he has no one else to talk about everything so openly… we were also planning to research on the scholarships and go together… i couldn't even tell him that my parents are making me do this… but i had to cutoff everything… he was inspired by me, he was one of the people who truly cared for me, and i was one of them for him. he's now gonna think i left him like his other friends too :(

it was my niece’s confirmation day, today…I had the most surreal *this must have been life/slice of the American Dream in the 1950s nostalgia moment*…just as we—my fiancé and I—were readying the car to leave after the *brunch* my sister-in-law (her mom) hosted for the family afterwards (brunch—-which meant we ate and chatted with the other cousins, my parents, for another 5 hours… whilst the kiddos, who are now old enough, spanning middle school to highschool, kept themselves occupied, outdoors even, on such a gorgeous day…the fiance and I were pulling around in the cul-du-sac where my bro’s house is, and there was an odd moment as my youngest niece and her brother were shooting hoops, my dad (at 78) joined them for some shots too, with my brother, as my sister-in-law, and my oldest niece (the honorary confirmation day lass) were getting ready to take a bike ride on the trails by the Fox River, my cousins and their kids, all about the same age, and number (3 of them), we’re doing the Midwestern mosey-leaving (where you’re readying to leave, but it actually takes another 1 hour to get out the door bc you continue chatting…) along with my mom, in the October sun, with the leaves of the small forest preserve, and along the FoxRiver, around their neighborhood all just glorious red-oranges and golds right now, the sky absolutely vibrant, and sharp blue…99% of the time, we’re like, “Why the hell would you ever move to north-central IL, of the western ‘burbs of Chicago?” But there is that occasional 1%, like today, when I guess I can believe the stats that say the tri-city area (Batavia/Geneva/St Charles—the FoxRiver corridor) is ranked as some of the best places to live/raise families…to keep it real, the fiance and I landed in Aurora instead-lol.
