I always wanted a cat growing up but my father and brother were allergic. So when I got older I adopted a dog.

His name is Bandit. He's a little shit but quite honestly he's helped me grow so much as an individual. I love him so intensely. He's grumpy, has very clear boundaries, used to attack the shit out of me as a puppy because he wasn't socialized properly (he was rescued with parvo as a puppy but survived), but my god is he not one of the most loving, loyal buddies you can have.

I can sit on the ground and he immediately comes over to give me kisses. He loves butt pats and since he has this long tail that's curved over so it looks like a question mark, I've always made sure to include stroking it like a cat's tail in case he ever encountered children who wanted to pull on it. That way he was already used to someone playing with his tail and wouldn't freak out about it.

He's older now, 8. But he's still the most loving little buddy you can ever have. We all call him Bubby because I used to say he's my little bubula lol

HE WOULD LOVE YOU SO MUCH . i genuinely can’t overstate this i think a sleepy little reader is one of his favorites actually …… he just melts when he’s around you. suguru finds it so rewarding when his s/o falls asleep around him because it proves that you feel safe with him, that you trust him . and it makes him feel like a big scary guard dog and a warm pillow all at once <333 (number one most likely jjk man to fall in love the first time you fall asleep on his shoulder in a crowded train . i’m sorry but it has to be said)

and if you’re the type who’s sleepy often it just makes him melt even more …. he’s so fond of your droopy eyes and little yawns :(((( gets the happiest, most smug little smile on his lips when you start dozing off and clinging to his sleeve . he loves everything about it. loves being your headrest, loves carrying you to bed, loves watching your chest rise and fall while lying next to you. he has trouble sleeping but he swears just watching you snooze so happily makes it easier for him to do the same …..
