So Shadow using a Chaos Emerald is unaffected by the Paradox Prism with no explanation to why, but regardless just like Sonic this seems to have resulted in his lack of alternate versions of him. So with the Shatter Spaces most notably New Yolk seemingly being the Sonic world but different in the absence of Sonic wouldn't that have applied to Shadow as well?

In other words how does the Chaos Council exist without Shadow? The reason I say this is because it is now currently being heavily implied that the events of Space Colony and what happened to Maria, majorly impacted the Robotnik family. From there affecting Eggman possibly being a major cause for his villainy. So in the absence of Shadow and by extension Project Shadow shouldn't things have played out much differently?

Happy Birthday to "Sonic Prime"! It’s been one year from now, since the final season came out! This show changed my life forever and made it brighter than ever! It is my favorite so far thanks to Sonadow!

No future "Sonic" TV series will ever take that feeling away from me, and nobody will convince me the romance between Shadow and Sonic is not real, or that they are not a canon couple!

The writers cooked! That cannot be random. XD

It's been established that when Nine gets scared or feels threatened, he reacts by intimidation or anger, depending on the situation. It's his go-to instinct developed as a reaction to his trauma. As a way to protect himself.

And here, Nine is fucking terrified! He started hyperventilating, his pupils contracting with terror. The root cause of Nine's trauma was getting bullied and beaten up for years. All he wished for was for a safe, isolated place to call his own without having someone invading it.

And now, his greatest fear is coming true... His safe haven, his home, getting invaded by people who hold malicious intent for him.

Can you imagine the flashbacks he could've been having? The fear? The past coming to haunt him again, the thing he dreaded most coming back around to hurt him even worse. Can you imagine encountering the root of your trauma striking with a vengeance? And on your journey to try and heal from it no less.

He doesn't deserve this

the palm tree is great and all, but what about the flickies?? in this backwards world, those little animals are his only friends, so he’s willing to do whatever it takes to protect them. when the chaos council took over, they were in great danger, and bullet made the tough choice to trade his freedom for their safety, acting as an enforcer on their behalf.

SONIC PRIME HC: SHADOW'S VOICE

I dunno about anyone else but I absolutely LOVE Shadow's voice in Prime. Ofc there are other VAs who have done great work but I really love Ian Hanlin's voice for Shadow and out of all his VAs, I prefer his Prime voice the most

And as a Shadonic/Sonadow fan, imma make it Sonic's problem too 😆

One of the things I like in the series that before they reunited at the end of S1, it was Shadow's voice and silhouette that became a sort of anchor for Sonic to their original reality

For this, Sonic never thought too much about it but he's always liked Shadow's voice in the whole 'huh, he sounds kinda cool' way. Doesn't acknowledge how it makes his heart speed up, skip in excitement or calms him down

(And channelling one of the things I love about WWX), Sonic likes it when Shadow sounds angry. Not just the way his voice can rise up either. But also when he's really, truly pissed. When it gets deep and so low that it's literally a growl and makes a thrill chase down Sonic's spine and his quills standing on end

But when their universe shattered, it's Shadow's voice that grounds him, reassures him

Makes him feel safe even as he lays dying in a collapsing universe

Afterwards? It becomes increasingly obvious that Sonic instinctively reacts to Shadow's voice, lights up unlike any other

He wont realise until much, much later that he feels at his safest with Shadow

Sonic Prime Inconsistencies Part 1

Okay so I wanted to make this post to ramble about the inconsistencies or just straight up lore problems of Sonic Prime. While I get it is supposed to be more oriented towards kids, such a thing is not an excuse for simplistic story telling. In addition with the recent focus on Lore in recent Sonic games with the addition of a lore master, I find the inclusion of Sonic Prime to the canon of the games to be the big problem.

The whole if it doesn't contradict the games and unified canon thing. It would be alright if it wasn't canon though still frustrating. But one Logan McPherson, Takashi Iizuka, alongside others has confirmed it is supposed to be canon.

So my first problem is Sonic and I am not going to talk about his blabber mouth, yet. You see there is a problem with his power level, he is way too underpowered for at this point in the timeline. This Sonic will inconsistently smash through Eggforcers like they are your basic Badnik but then also having struggling with them fighting forever like this was a DBZ fight. The Eggforcers I would best describe as slightly beefed up Badniks, but still Sonic should not be having such a hard time with them.

Using characters like Shadow, Orbot, and Cubot as a way to set down a placement in the timeline. This would mean this Sonic whose struggling with slightly beefed up Badniks is the same one whose faced off against the Death Egg Robot, the Great Egg Robo, Perfect Chaos even fighting him in his base form, the Black Arms, Dark Gaia, etc. among all the various mechs and bosses in up until this point. However, if the claim Prime takes place in the far future, that means he would have been through even more up until Frontiers!!

My next problem is a nitpick but why is Birdie not only hanging out with Amy now but why are they pink? Birdie was blue in Sonic Adventure so why are they suddenly pink? Imma ask is to match up with Amy the pink female hedgehog? Because if so that is pretty questionable.

Sonic knows Nine is not Tails.

Tails is a happy, brainy, not so little fox, he likes beaches and technology, his favorite food are mint candies and he loves to tinker, and to fly with his twin tails. He has a lot of friends that care about him, and a big brother who loves him.

Nine is an angry, brainy, not so little fox, he doesn’t like hugs, he likes to build technology on his lab and he uses his nine tails to protect himself. He doesn’t have any friends, he is alone, the only person he can trust is himself.

Miles is a not so happy, but still brainy, little fox, he loves planes and technology, he has two tails, and he’s been beat up, bullied, and left out through all his short life because of that. He is smart and kind, he hasn’t done anything wrong, he is just a little different.

Sonic knows Nine is not Tails, but Nine is Miles, and Sonic loves Miles.

Ok, so Sonic's love interests have been; Sally Acorn, a princess, Elise, also a princess, Amy Rose, whom was vaguely hinted at being from a royal family in the Archie comics (I think?), Shadow, who is essentially the prince of the Dark Arms. and according to Boom, Sonic has a crush on either Peach or some other princess.

Sonic, what is with you and royalty???

Do you have any Nine headcanons? For Example, I like to headcanon he finds a way out of the grim at the end, and moves in as Tails' grumpy roommate.

i’ve always liked the headcanon that nine is declawed (or just had his claws ripped out), whether by the council or his bullies. it kinda adds onto the fact that he really does rely on his mechanical tails for defense, his natural forms of protecting himself having been removed. ig he could bite people, but that requires being way to close to his attacker for comfort

i also headcanon that he doesn’t leave the grim and is just there alone. nine is a tragic character. someone who, in the end, pretty much got what he wanted, but at what cost? he has his solitude, he’ll never return to new yoke ever again and no one will bother him. he wanted this, so why does he feel like he’s falling apart?
