movie sonadow would be so l umity-coded…and i say this bc their dynamic is similar to the games but with a different and tender perspective: they both empathize deeply with each other now, and this shadow is not as reticent or closed off bc of that. that being said: movie!sonic would ABSOLUTELY 'YOU'RE the sweet potato!' the hell out of shadow

ok ive talked about my frustration w adam being fine after his cliffhanger at end of mi, but lest we forget that we were also baited w adam turmoil at end of cdth (not replying to any of ronans texts). i understand that tdt isnt supposed to be adam centric but pulling this TWICE is just mean :(

#literally. why was the narrative leading us to concern for adams wellbeing and then him being fine w no explanation #ok. ill give u that ronan getting paranoid over adam not replying when he was just in class cld be character relevant #and thats all ronan pov #but the end of MI is like. third person omniscent showing us all the consequences of turning off line! its kinda objective #overall theres so much foreshadowing that adam scrying alone is gonna get him in trouble!#and where were the consequences!#im not even the hugest adam girlie like im not the type to insist he get tons of screentime but like.#if ur gonna put him in the story and make us care about him theres gonna be narrative payoff #as i said earlier this week. theres a pretty clear way to put the pieces together #adam is scrying dangerously alone + inventing new self bc cant trust friends w his authentic self #=> experiences consequences but someone helps him #=> adam realizes he can expand his trust and rely on others instead of going back to self isolating instincts #and those people cld be his friends or lynch fam/other tdt mains #its a way of simply continuing his trc arc in new territory. ofc more exciting things cld be done w adam but its not his book

I feel so sorry for people who don’t get hyper fixated on things, whether it’s a hobby, tv series, or, if you’re like me, the boys of GMMTV.

This weekend so far has been such a joy for me! Each time I look at my phone I’m seeing funny pictures and videos of my favourite boys! I get to see these sillies and cuties and it makes me happy and I get to see my friends all happy because their sillies and cuties are being funny and I just think that’s beautiful.

We’re all complete losers winners and I love it 🤣

A question about your opinion! What are for you the best part of the Chronicles, and the less interesting one? Or maybe, where do you think Mothy showed his talent the most, and do you think there's a section of the Chronicles where he seems to have just dropped the ball?

Hmm, that's hard to answer because I think it's pretty clear as you go through the series (at least, in the order they came out) that mothy greatly improves as a writer over the years. So even though there's parts that I deeply enjoyed and found exceptionally well plotted (the Daughter of Evil novels for example), the actual writing itself is better, I think, in later books.

I'll also cite Gift, Pierrot, and Judgment of Corruption as some of my favorites of the later novels.

I think probably the books that I'm the least enthusiastic about would have to be the OSS novels, to be honest. It's not that I dislike them--there's actually a lot of things I enjoyed about the experience reading them, and I like (mostly) that they feel a bit darker in tone and content than the rest of the books considering the position OSS holds in the series. But there are too many elements that feel rushed, dropped, or retconned to me to appreciate them fully. I think mothy probably had some things in mind that might make more sense if he were to republish and revise the other books, but as it stands now they almost feel like a prequel to a different series entirely than the rest of Evillious.

#the thing is that mothy is always trying new things with his books #that's part of the excitement of reading them #so even if i'm not a huge fan of something he puts out #it's still a fun experience #the seven deadly sins novels makes a fine anthology because each experiments with a new framing device and genre #i hope he makes an E.A.T. novel sometime that would be fun

there should be a way to tag things for fandoms but only if you have criticism so that you can avoid crushing people's joy and whimsy, so people who are excited about new Nico book keep scrolling bc everyone has the right to enjoy things!!!! I don't wish to take that from you!!! However: what on earth could these guys possibly do in a sequel. No people to fight. Nobody else is at camp right now to hang with. They don't even have any trauma to heal. Like will they just hang out or.

#i would love nico to hang out with his friends such as reyna and hazel even but that wont happen bc nico and will will be too busy KISSING #they're soooo mushy it doesn't even feel like anything like. You gotta build suspense so that it feels exciting man #Nico just suddenly was totally chill with physical and verbal affection in the last book #and then they created new fake issues for them to overcome #like just overcome the existing ones....#also will would never be uncomfortable that Nico was emo. He knew what he was getting into. He saw those hot topic jeans #if will was into Nico (which we know he is) it was because he was entranced and bewitched by his sad boy angst and kind heart #ANYWAYYYYYi'm perfect so i would've written it correctly obviously #clearly this is a joke. I am just a little sad that i didn't like TSATS and that i feel only distaste at the new book news #once upon a time this filled me with joy... now i am an adult that pays taxes. it will be a new character though! the reader in keiji’s one shot is a princess from another kingdom who is a huge huge fan of this writer. she loves collecting signed books and when she heard that her favorite author is having his first meet and greet + signing event, she just had to travel to inarizaki to see him ;) but she never expected that her favorite writer was actually a prince (and that he’s the prettiest man she’d ever seen)
