He is less likely to be persuaded to help LBD, unless his kids are used against him which could happen but with how the gang knows the kids this is a little more difficult for this to happen per say, or at least in a way that Macaque would be viewed as a villain

To be quite honest emery came to me in a vision. Like. “Eccentric cutesy teenage girl who reads bad smut and practices dubiously ethical medicine”. And that is the perfect archetype to me. Literally no notes. Ilmari and the twins on the other hand have….Taken a little longer to perfect. and ive had a LOT of people tell me they want to know more about them but i just haven’t gotten to it yet. Sometimes i wonder why emery is the fan favorite but then i remember i Barely talk about anyone else so. Oops

I have a pretty good idea of them now though i THINK? so i for SURE need to infodump AHSJSJDJFFG Ill put the rest of my more detailed thoughts below the cut uhhhh

Uhhh. Basically. Ryder is the golden child whos really expressive and energetic like raps but very anxious and neurotic. He’s honestly kind of the straight man of yhe group. Most people think it’s ilmari but this is Wrong. Eldest child syndrome despite being the middle child. Workaholic but he fucking hates his job. Stressed out 24/7 and hasn’t slept in 2 weeks. needs to be liked by EVERYONE or he will DIE.

Alina is the baby she’s kinda varian and cass core. Always in the shadow of ryder or ilmari, but shes had support where it matters, so she’s never really cared. She was the shy quiet kid growing up but now he is full of Rage. very clingy, headstrong and stubborn. Strong leader and always tries to take control but his older siblings dont rlly take him seriously. Kind of a smartass and a drama queen but specifically in an old hollywood detective kind of way

ilmari……quiet, blunt, dry and emotionally unavailable. Horse girl and the king of not giving a fuck. they’re a free spirit, and since they were the first to leave the nest theyre always just kinda Wandering. Doesn’t speak unless spoken to. They typically come off as very weird and unsettling, but they are very gentle and compassionate when it comes down to it, they’re just Bad at feelings. They’re silly i promise but they have that like dry ass adira ttpe humor.

I think one of the main reasons the twins are so hard for me to describe is bc i’ve failed to disclose their Main Gimmick, which is that they’re meant to start out as the the typical boy/girl twin trope— where ones shy, anxious and kinda nerdy, and the other one is charismatic, eccentric and extroverted— but by their teenage years, they’ve pretty much completely swapped in every regard: fashion sense and presentation, personality, mannerisms, etc.

they both have some core traits that are stuck to them for their entire lives, and are obviously still undeniably the same characters, but their overall archetypes kind of swap entirely.

as little kids, alina is the timid, reserved, kind of fluttershy-esque type, and is a bit more of the observant, logical “by-the-books” one. meanwhile ryder is the bouncy, outspoken wild child, to the point of being kind of ditzy and careless at times, but hes very emotional and has no trouble making his voice heard.

as they get older, though, alina, with a strong support system, is eventually able to find his voice and speak up for himself, and after years of being silent, he becomes kind of the rebel of the family. he’s intelligent, calculated, and very stubborn about what he believes in. plus, shes spent most of her life observing, so she has a very good understanding of whats going on around her- and a passion for leadership that’s reminiscent of cassandra’s. alina ends up being a very hardheaded, outspoken and emotional individual who’s eager to take a stand and is deeply afraid of being a burden on her loved ones, or worse, never accomplishing anything at all. She is also Soooo fucking angry like all the time and she NEEDS constant validation SO BAD or she will DIE. #Teenagerthings.

Meanwhile ryder, as coronas Golden Child, has the most pressure on him out of all the kids, and slowly becomes more anxious and closed off as he gets older. at his core he’s compassionate, creative, and kind of weird and snarky, but he gets lost in his own head very easily. he cares WAYYYYY too much what other people think of him and is 100% willing to just. Change and/or destroy himself to meet other peoples expectations. this is why he is a horrible choice for coronas heir and unfortunately, because hes REALLY good at masking, it takes everyone WAY TOO LONG to realize this. Even when he learns some decent coping mechanisms ryder always remains kind of a workaholic, neurotic and anxious person. Massive perfectionist also. he has ISSUES. 😭😭😭

ILMARI!! ILMARI MY BABYGIRL!!!!!! Ilmaris honestly so so SO bad at feelings they are so distant but i swear they TRY THEIR BEST they just have AUTISM 😭🙏Unlike the twins ilmari doesn’t really have a huge change in character LOL…But i need to talk more about the trios dynamic, cuz they’re all VERY close especially when they were little. Once ilmaris traveling on their own, though, their relationship is a little more strained……..like i said ilmari is very much a wanderer, and they don’t write much either. Obviously they send like monthly letters to ukd out of obligation (cass and eugene especially get CRAZY paranoid otherwise…..) as well as some gifts to the family whenever they can but. Their letters highkey read like business emails LOL.

Ilmaris in a weird place where they do truly care about their family but like….They still feel a big disconnect from their identity and relationships in general. The emotional neglect from their birth mother and the autism have mixed together in the worst way possible and emotions are just never something they really Get.

I think especially in early adulthood they dont really have anywhere where they truly feel like they belong- So they kinda just fuck off to do whatever. They don’t see much of a need to communicate with anyone, mostly cuz i dont think it clicks in their head that people might Want to know about that stuff GAHAHAHAAHA

this is hard on ukd and the twins who end up feeling like mari just…. slips in and out of their lives so easily 💔 DO NOT FRET THOUGH!!!!! They do visit and they improve at communicating over time….their letters are still Corporate email core but they’re more frequent at least. And they eventually come back to corona for good to take over the library when var and hugo retire

she and gihun would need to have a serious conversation tho. i feel like he'd explain certain things, like how he was desperate for money to pay for his mother's treatment and had to do some things to earn it but he couldn't forgive himself for what he did or saw so he decided to pull away from everyone. they would also need to talk abt gihun's mother bc she obviously loved gayeong and gayeong probably loved her in return.

gayeong would understand in a way, bc she seems like a very mature young girl and she is empathetic like gihun, but she wouldnt immediately trust him again. they'd have to build that up again and the truth is that gihun's relationship with inho does bring some stability into their lives, strangely enough.

but yes! she has a new stepdad and a step uncle and a step grandmother even and she really really likes them, but she really loves her younger siblings 💖 those babies are so precious to her and they helped rebuild her relationship with gihun. also, i can see inho kinda looking at gayeong as the baby he lost with his wife (i have a hc that they were having a girl, which adds another parallel to inho and gihun as foils).

to answer your first question: yes !! i actually collect rapunzel merch !! i have a huuuge collection at this point. it's kind of all over my home, in my bedroom and living room and even bathroom sakjfnga but most of it is in my office !!

specifically i really love to collect rapunzel bags / loungeflys. i currently have eight !!!

this is a very small part of my collection, but it's what i have on display in my office. the top half of the shelf is for display, and the bottom half is storage for my crafts !! it's some of my fave pieces !! (i call it my punzie shrine)

i have so so many rapunzel / varian headcanons !!

they really treat each other like siblings. since they're both an only child and grew up quite lonely, they like to do stereotypical sibling things together, to heal that part of themselves. things like puzzles, board games, etc. everyone around them acknowledges that bond, and varian (and quirin) are invited to all the family events !!

they both love to read... whenever rapunzel buys a new book, she buys a second copy to give to varian so they can read it in their own time and talk about it together. almost like a lil book club for the both of them !!

rapunzel is the first person varian shows his new inventions to. her earnest excitement and curiosity for his creations makes him feel really happy and appreciated.

varian struggles with self doubt after the mistakes he's made. rapunzel is the only person that can really reassure him and make him feel better. sometimes he'll ask to just spend some time together, like sharing a meal or going for a walk, because her company acts as a reminder that people love him and see him as a good person <3

On his first few weeks of daycare, Leon would cry the longest every time he's been dropped off.

Has a hard time adjusting to daycare, but gets used to it after making a few friends (notably chris & luis)!

If Chris shoves her, Claire would shove back. And that may have resulted in a lot of sibling fights.

Strong believer of justice - Will pick fights with anyone, even big kids and adults, if she sees injustice.

Brutally honest kid - when someone asks for a compliment, she would say "That shirt makes you look fat" without batting an eye.

Alike Chris, she loves NERF guns (they often like the same guns, so it almost always turns into a brawl at the toy section)

So the moment Carlos speaks (he is still focusing on whatever he's doing), the class erupts in laughter.

Toddler Carlos is the kid who mashes the music button on a toy repeatedly. A cheeky smile on his face, very entertained by it.

Also I see toddler Carlos on the trampoline a lot, often trying to jump as high as he can. Even though he is most definitely too young to be on the trampoline.

Hmm if I get it right, you mean if Darcy decided to leave with Riven in season 1 after they summoned the Army of Decay? Ohhh I don't think Icy would have been fine with it. I think many people hc her to get along super well with Riven....I don't. I think she's super jealous that some stupid punk guy hooked up with her sister who was loyal af before.

IF they'd manage to escape, it should have been in secret somewhen. I can see Darcy sneaking into the dungeons again at night and be like: "Quick, let's get out of here." But Icy would notice anyway. She has this eye spider in the first season who will go straight away to her. Don't think Icy would sleep a lot by that time. She'd be awake and like: 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and then she'd send some evil creatures after them. If Darcy and Riven have luck, they'd find his wind rider somewhere and try to escape with it.

There is no place where they'd be safe. So they would HAVE to go to Alfea. Red Fountain could already be destroyed by that time. I'm sure, in Alfea they'd isolate them out of fear it's just a trick. On the other hand, Darcy and Riven are valuable hostages with whose help they could get insider information.

However I don't think that Darcy could fight against her sisters. She'd probably negotiate attenuating circumstances for them in order to give information to the fairies.

Yada yada, Stormy and Icy get defeated. I could imagine that Stormy wasn't that sure anymore about everything since Darcy left. She'd be upset at her, yes, pikachu gremlin is about to explode, but she'd also be hurt. Feeling left behind because of some guy. I think Stormy doesn't show how much she loves her sisters. But she's still the youngest and her sisters had ALWAYS been there for her. And then one just left, while the other becomes insane, driven by hunger for power.

Then again, I don't think Darcy would let them leave for Light Rock alone. She'd go with them. After all she's complicitous and the fairies are lucky to get rid of the witch. It would be hard for her to let Riven go, simply because she knows there is a fairy with two pigtails who will try to get him. Riven won't understand Darcy at first. He doesn't have siblings and can't relate. But after a goodbye full of tears he lets her go, promising her, that he'll wait for her.

okay so i was brainstorming about demigods!fimmies and demigods!kats and thought it would be really cool if some people from both groups would start off with a somewhat tension because i LOVE enemies to best friends (strangely i do have mixed feelings about enemies to lovers though 😭) it can be like during one of those games or races in camp half blood, they get competitive... misunderstandings happen... it ends up in a fight... and so on

i think those members who have beef could be chaewon and sophia since they're both the leaders and i hc chaewon as daughter of ares which is kinda the opposite of typical level headed daughter of athena which is sophia so it would make sense for them to not get along at first ig???

funnier thing is if this misunderstanding would happen because of something that happenned to OTHER members like let's say during one of those games yoonchae and eunchae accidentally hurt eachother during a combat with swords or sumn like that and while those two literally have nothing against eachother like they understand it's a game and it wasn't intentional sophia and chaewon both get overprotective over their babies and start a fight over it 😭😭😭 meanwhile yoonchae and eunchae themselves are trying to be metiators telling their leaders that they're fine and it's nothing to make a big deal out of and such even though both sophia and chaewon are stubborn as fuck so their peace efforts don't really contribute to anything unfortunately 😭 help these girls...

as much as sophia and chaewon aren't fond of eachother at first there are situations where they have to be in eachother's presence since some girls from both groups share cabins (yunjin with yoonchae, eunchae with megan, sakura with sophia, and kazuha with manon if we go by her being daughter of aphrodite) so they all somewhat know eachother. luckily as sophia and chaewon get sent on missions together and spend more time all this tension fades away and they become close friends as well 😔🥹

i totally agree that sophia and chaewon would have beef due to a misunderstanding that just escalates worse and worse especially if it dealt with their youngest members cause they're both super protective of their younger members. they honestly despise each other but are forced to be in each other's presence since the others are all friends with each other or are siblings so they stand there sulking while the others try to have them get along (it fails). both of them hold grudges for a while so it'd definitely take a few (forced) quests together before they can even tolerate each other.

maybe during one quest something nearly goes wrong and it makes the two actually respect each other. so when the two come back and the girls see them actually getting along it's a little odd cause they left still hating each other so wdym they came back friends??? but the others aren't complaining! it took weeks of them trying to get them to be friends so it's a big sense of relief when the two can actually communicate without getting into a fight

Daeron The Daring Headcanons

→ Daeron was a totally unexpected baby. He came in at a time when Alicent's nightly stays with Viserys started to dwindle from various reasons, so he was truly unexpected. Alicent's kids saw Rhaenyra pregnant plenty of times but this was the first time they've seen their mother pregnant and had more of an understanding what it meant. Aegon, Helaena and Aemond all care a lot for their mother and seeing her struggle made them help her more - it was the one pregnancy where Alicent had true familial help. When Daeron was born, he was very precious amongst his close family, since the year leading up to it was very uniting overall. The three siblings picked (fought over) what dragon egg to give him (Aegon said it's only right since Jace and Luke got to choose for Joffrey!). They were all very proud of themselves when Tessarion hatched. → That being said, once born, each sibling reacted differently to the newborn baby. Helaena liked to play with him a lot as she felt very comfortable amongst kids, Aemond was very determined to be a good new brother, while Aegon felt rather jealous actually, as Daeron really was well loved within the Keep - as a child he was a very easy one that is easy to connect to. That being said, Aegon couldn't keep grumpiness towards him for long, Daeron adored Aegon - liked to play with his hair and nose and climb over him as if he were his dragon himself. Aegon was Daeron's favorite toy, seriously. → I mentioned it in the Helaena HC's, but Daeron was Helaena's partner in crime, stealing stuff from the kitchens and going on long bug-catching fiascos. He spent a long time with her while Alicent was more busy acting somewhat regent. → At first, he was very upset being sent away to Oldtown. He didn't know Lord Ormund and he felt like his mother was sending him away from his siblings and didn't want him by her side. He was reassured otherwise, but it still bothered him he couldn't be with them. He still didn't ride Tessarion then, being a rather late bloomer, but prompted by Aegon and Aemond telling him he's a Targaryen Prince and he has the mount to return at will, he rode Tessarion for the first time. → Daeron tends to copy the mannerisms of his older brothers when he feels challenged, but mostly in the sass department. Complete menace when somebody talks shit. He's mostly seen as courteous and sweet so it usually comes out of nowhere for people who shade him when he pops the one-liner of the century with a smirk just like Aemond's or a mocking laughter just like Aegon's. His brothers prepared him well for the talking shit Olympics. → Daeron is happy at Oldtown, loves the Citadel and the Hightower, and learned to have Lord Ormund as the trusted father figure he didn't have in Viserys. In this peaceful town he becomes rather detached from what is going on in KL; he sends and receives letters, but his family sees him as a baby, they don't tell him enough. When the war begins and the shitstorm starts, he feels he has to step up, guilty that he has been staying put in peaceful place, especially after B&C. Lord Ormund nor Alicent want him on the field: he is not an experienced dragonrider quite yet, he's young and is known for having a more gentle nature. They rather him stay in the Hightower. But he disobeys, gets to Tessarion and goes to the Battle of Honeywine, unwilling to let his kin face this war without him. This was one of the first times he refused orders. "My duty is to your life rather than it is to a corpse's orders," kind of vibe.

omg yess ik i did some hcs for him back in the day, like when i just got into jjk and hadn't read the manga yet, so i'm excited to do this again with a new perspective :3 actually i dug out some of my older choso hcs to see if i changed my mind lol

one thing i said about him before is that i think he would be a really good plant dad and i stand by this. well, actually...i'm not sure sure, i think there's the potential for him to like. forget to water them properly or something, and then he gets super sad about it :(( he does put a lot of effort to take care of them. his plants have names too, and he talks to them sometimes. he loves them all very much.

i don't really agree w some of the choso + technology = grandpa ideas (he may be 150, but he's still smart and i think he's the type to try his best at everything until it works), but i do think the first time he watched a tv show he thought it was real and got kind of confused. once he understands, he's still going to take his favorite shows very seriously. those characters are real To Him.

in an au where everyone is happy and alive :') he'd be the type of older brother to put his little brothers' partners through a rigorous interview to see if they're suitable to date his siblings (especially with yuuji since he's the baby of the family). actually he does this to friends too... yuuji can't have anyone over without choso asking a thousand questions. in terms of itafushi, this just funny, because he's trying to be all intimidating and threatening, and megumi just thinks hes kind of awkward and not scary at all.

idk why i feel like he shouldn't be allowed in the kitchen...i know i wrote him as a good cook twice now but i changed my mind! he's a disaster if yuuji isn't there. he'll probably be able to make basic things like rice, eggs, any instant foods....the problem comes when he tries to make fancy recipes he finds on pinterest that he does not have the skill level for. despite yuuji asking him not to make that stuff when he's not around, he still tries because he just wants to surprise his little brother/feels bad that yuuji always cooks for him because he's the older one, so he should be taking care of him

1. I really like the parallels between characters, but I'm kind of afraid that it'll get to a point where I'm in a house of mirrors and can no longer see the plot

2. I'm the anon who hcs their MC writing letters to her dead family. I'm learning more about Farah and since my MC didn't burn down Farah's room, she read the letters. How would the ROs react to finding a letter to Farah in MC's box of letters? A letter saying she wishes she could have met her and is sorry for what happened. MC doesn't know who killed the queen, but she wishes she could have prevented the death. 1. Eh I think no one can truly 100% reflect another character because they haven't lived each other's lives, if they did then understanding each other would be far more easier. For example, as much as MC and Luceris reflect each other they still have a lot of differences. MC experienced a life of happiness until unfortunate circumstances changed everything, whereas Luceris never truly experienced such happiness. MC held deep affection for their siblings, while Luceris lacked that same connection.

In my opinion, the characters reflect aspects of other characters but not them in their entirety.

2. I think such a letter would bring some comfort to Helios but I don't think the other ROs would have that big of a reaction like alright. And the preventing part is funny because MC was like 4 years old how would they prevent it. Stop feeling guilt for things that weren't your fault, MC!!

RANT AND GEEKY STUFF AND WHATEVER

I know I ranted so much about my oc Kazujun B&G twins so I'm sharing what I always thought of them and their dynamics with Kazuya, Jun, and Jin.

OKAY ONTO THE CHARACTERIZATIONS:

- Both twins look like Jun (it's my hc that Jun's genes are just stronger than Kaz)

- That's why Kaz is so fond of them so much because they look like Jun

The Girl Twin:

- ISTJ

- Personality peg: Mikasa Ackermann

- She's got that antisocial skills from Jin lmao. But she's very caring to the people who matter to her. Not necessarily a snob, but she's just very introverted.

- The most cunning of all Kaz and Jun's children.

- Kaz claims to have no favorite child, but everyone in the household knows he loves his daughter a little bit more than the boy twin, especially Jin.

- Jun is deeply fond of her as well for being her only daughter.

- Jin is weirded out with how mature and serious she can be at such a young age, that's why when he hangs out with her, he puts in effort in making her feel like she's very young and she should loosen up. Jin likes to play and tease her.

- She's wise like Jun, but secluded like Kazuya. Severe trust issues and she can sense treachery from a mile away.

- She looks so much like Jun but her glare gives away that she's also Kaz's daughter.

The Boy Twin:

- ESFP

- Personality peg: Yuji Itadori

- The only extrovert in the family. Literally a baby boy. Gives off golden retriever vibes.

- Animals flock to him the same way they do with Jun.

- His easygoing personality actually made Kazuya much more open to fatherhood. His presence and vibes make Kazuya at ease and trust himself that he could be a better father this time, and the cycle of hatred can finally stop.

- Jun is really happy to have her second son make Kazuya feel much more comfortable. Somehow, he somehow takes a lot of Jun's burden, and it really helps Jun not to feel too pressured to fix everything since she has her son.

- Jin is playful to him, but so much of his brother's energy drains him out and has him going back to introvert mode.

- Overprotective of his sister even though he's the youngest and it annoys his sister.

- He's got Jun's warmth and nothing else that resembles Kazuya (except the spiky and messy hair). He's got the same vibe to match Uncle Lee's energy tho.

IDK KAZUJUN TWINS IS SUCH A CUTE IDEA. I CANT DECIDE IF I WANT KAZ TO GET A SECOND CHANCE BY GETTING ANOTHER SON OR IF I WANNA SEE HIM AS A GIRL DAD, SO I JUST CAME UP WITH A VERY SMART IDEA OF "HEY WHY NOT BOTH 😄"

Hence, me hyperfixating on the thought of Kazuya and Jun giving Jin two more siblings. Like isn't it cute to see Jin as an older brother to both a younger brother and sister (SCRWAMMSKS)

Also, Jun as a girl mom 🥹 I can see her brushing her hair every night and pampering her sm NDKSND.

Maria: I feel like the dumbest thing she’s ever done was the following.

Maria got tipsy after drinking a few bottles of beer in a local pub,, she gets teased and catcalled by some men who don’t recognise her and even taunt her into engaging in an arm wrestling challenge. She tries so hard to decline and to continue drinking but due to her getting tipsy she finally relents and they assume she’s just a weak citizen who coincidentally wears hunter’s garb

The church gets reports of a massacre in a bar and they assume the worst and think a beast got in but nope. It’s just Maria. She not only arm wrestled them but body slammed all of them to the floor. The next day she had no memories of what happened and when told of the events she ran off to sulk lmao

Laurence: I can see him having quite a bad habit of picking at his hair when extremely stressed, either pulling out strands or pushing it back multiple times while pacing around his room.

His friends (even Mico for some unknown reason) have urged him to maybe distract his hands with something else and Laurence does try!! He really does but he always goes back to his old habits and now he has a low key fear of going bald early especially with his forever baby face. He didn’t have to worry about it tho bc he doesn’t have hair as a beast 💀

Ludwig: my boy 🥹 he has many happy memories from his childhood. I hc him being the middle child of at least 7-8 siblings but grew up to be the tallest so he still is seen as everyone’s big brother,, he remembers having a huge picnic with his entire family and watching his younger sisters and brothers play nearby while he helps prepare everyone else’s meals with his older siblings and parents,,

As an adult though? I have a hc that the brooch on Laurence’s uniform is a blood gem and that the biggest blood gems are the most valuable and are commonly given as gifts to significant others,, I can see his happiest memories being him gifting a huge blood gem he found while exploring the dungeons to Laurence as some sort of proposal gift and cuddling for the rest of the night. He thinks of that memory whenever he’s afraid in hunts since it calms him down knowing someone is waiting for him to come back
