yuuji years after the manga ends who's still healing and learning to grieve and grow. who sees his brother in the siblings he crosses paths with at the park, and his classmates and teachers in the elementary students filing out the bus for a field trip. who visits graves, starkly clean and well-kept compared to the ones a row over with flowers and food and updates on where he's been and the things he's done since his last visit. who wakes up too many nights with his heart torn, tears welling in his eyes and crescent indents in his palms, his voice raspy and broken when he yells out a name (it's a different one each time). who looks at himself and his fading scars in the mirror and sees two faces—both, in his eyes, responsible for what happened—and wonders when, if ever, he'll finally feel like he's off the battlefield, or worthy of peace

if you asked to blindfold him to get him to pick you out of a line up (by holding hands, hugging, etc) he'd do it so confidently and be 100% correct. he could even give you reasoning on the spot—this hand's too rough, too small, you wouldn't wear this kind of jacket, this person's too short, etc etc

just watched the third episode of i'm in love with the villainess. and the part where they talked about rae's sexuality got to me.

but i'm glad they did and her best friend, misha, made a good point, which sadly, very often happens in real life.

every time i hear something like this, it just pisses me off. like oh boy, somebody's getting ahead of themselves. so, what rae added really hits the nail on the head.

this is exactly what it says on the tin haha, written for the prompt "galetash + silence". I was planning on doing something a little more intellectual but I'm a simple man I can admit I find it very very hot to take someone who is very good at what they do (say, magic) and then to take that away from them and leave them helpless...and I might have gotten slightly distracted by that... this one is being handwritten so no extract from it but I'm a little over halfway done with it I think so hopefully should be done in the not too distant future!

"bloodborne zero", or just zero, is my working title for a sort of prequel for my bloodborne au bg3 fic that I haven't actually finished yet; 0.1 is the first chapter. it's mostly just an idea dump doc rn and I still don't know if I'll actually write it or if I'm better off just putting the work into the main fic, but I may end up just going for it anyway since I have zero experience w long fics and this would be like, a handful of chapters max, which would be a nice way to bridge the gap I think. like I said it's mostly just scattered paragraphs rn but here's a lil section that's not too bad for you:

They had been just a child when they had met his father, dragged along on matters of diplomacy, old enough to accompany their own father to the slice of the burnt out husk of the hells Mephistopheles reigned over but too young to be included in their talks. Labrys had spent most of their time in the hells wandering vast, empty corridors, peering up at the portraits that lined the walls, trying to imagine the kind of people a former archdevil would find important enough to display in his home. Raphael had not been among them. They care little for him now, either, turning away from the provost's attempts to catch their gaze in search of a more important target: Korilla, headmistress of the establishment. Her sister, to be more precise, but those introductions can come later.
