I personally headcanon Damian as short. I know both his parents are tall, but hear me out.

His metal spine.

You can imagine how that may stunt his growth. Not to mention the chronic pain that'd probably occur as well. Or other issues. (The spine is wacky,delicate, and a horrible structure, in my opinion ( mine is anyway )

So maybe Damian stays on the smaller side. Another one of his expectations for his future that he doesn't achieve.

I'd like to imagine that while he'd be upset about his height,eventually, he'd come to see it as an advantage. (Also, no hesitation, he will kick the knees of those who moch his height)

The Friendship Bracelet

You stared down at the object Damian offered to you, bemused.

"A friendship bracelet?" You asked.

"A token of our companionship." He all but confirmed. He pushed the 'bracelet' into your palm, curling your hands over it.

It was a watch. A sleek black thing. You weren't too experienced in digital watches but even you could tell it was very expensive.

"Damian... This is a watch. There's no way you made this." You attempt, a small furrow in your brow.

Damian frowns. "You reject it?" He asks. His bottom lip quivers, a subtle, little gesture.

Ah. You regret your words.

"No no!" You sputter, trying to salvage the situation. "I never said I didn't want it!" A flash of memory taunts you, Dick confiding in you that Damian didn't have many friends. You couldn't ruin this for him.

You grab the 'bracelet', strapping it on. "See, see! Here, let me strap it on." You speak placatingly, hoping to pacify the situation.

He grins back at you. "Thank you." It fills you with relief.

You smile back, but the moment is interrupted by a tightening in your wrist, the 'bracelet' giving off a loud, click!

You stared down at your wrist for a moment.

Silence.

"Damian."

"Yes?"

"Your bracelet just made a really loud click noise."

"Do you like it?"

"Why did it make that noise?"

You start fiddling with the straps. They don't budge. Yanking at the watch provides no give. It's stuck on.

"Uhm. I can't get it off?" It's more of a question than a demand, confusion evident in your voice.

"Why would you want to get rid of it?" He asks. You pause for a moment to stare at him.

"I'll need to take it off eventually Damian, I mean, what do I do when I need to shower?"

"It's waterproof."

"That was not what I mea-"

"It's a token of our comradeship." He interrupts.

"Yes, I get that but-"

"You reject our companionship?"

"No, but seriously-"

"Then I see no issue here. Come, let us go feed Batcow." His wrist grips your hand free of device, tugging you away.

"Wha-" You sputter. "Damian! Damian!!"

Nightwing screeched, "WHAT??!"

Robin and Spoiler nodded in agreement. "Right!" Spoiler said, "How come he never told us that he had a kid?!"

Robin added, "I was listening to the rumors, and supposedly, he only recently found out that he had a daughter. The mother, Wolf, only sought him out now but she knew him before. Something must be afoot!"

"Do you think it was when he was fifteen...? And since he was missing awhile, she wasn't able to find him until now?" Spoiler asked, unsure.

Red Robin, who had been frantically clicking on his tablet and looking for more information, then said, "His daughter is named Pup, but since she's wearing a helmet, no one knows what her face looks like. None of us have met her, so we can't determine her age either, but judging by her height in comparison to her parents, she must be young."

Spoiler let out a breath. This was basically confirmation of what they knew. "Oooh, this is bad! B doesn't know! And if he finds out... Jason is gonna kill us!"

Nightwing groaned and clutched at his hair. "Oh no... Little Wing... he's already a dad?! I need to get to Gotham right now! And meet my niece!"

They all boggled at him. "Excuse you?! Neither of us have met our niece either! Why do you get to meet her first?!"

Nightwing gave them a glare through the screen and shouted, "Give me 30 minutes! I'm racing over!"

"How?!" Robin cried. "Blüdhaven is 2 hours away!"

"Watch me!!" And then the call disconnected.

The three looked at each other in silence and then bolted out of the Cave, piling into the Batmobile with Red Robin driving.

Like hell they were letting their big brother see their little niece first!!

When asked who his favorite brother was, Dick answered 'Tim' without hesitation. When asked why, he glares at Jason (6'1) and Damian (6'3) and says that unlike his other Little Brothers, Tim (5'7) actually understood how things were supposed to work around here!

All of the bat children are horrified when they found out the boy Damian has been talking online, someone they were expecting to be a 5’3 twig. Someone who Damian has been crushing on for years turned out to be a 6’3 muscle-bound fucker that makes Jason look small.

They are even more horrified when they realized they never gave Damian the internet talk and for some reason Bruce is not reacting like this is something of concern and what the fuck-?!

The reason Bruce is not freaking out like the rest of his kids is quite simple.

He can see the last of the baby fat clinging to Danny’s face, he notices how even though Danny is a walking tank of a being, he still glances at the doorways like they could not be trusted.

Like he wasn’t used to his height.

No Bruce is not concerned, because all signs and research just points to one fact.

Danny Fenton has came into a Fenton-sized growth spurt.
