What do you think about Doll x Uzi? :3 tbh one of my fav rarepairs

oh i really like them! but i see them as a platonic pairing. i like to think that if they teamed up (Liam that would be so cool, why did you kill Doll) they could understand each other better and sympathize with each other since they have the same problem + they have loved ones dead + they are traumatized + they are unloved and stuff

i can feel that they would have a strong sister dynamic ;(

Mutual Codependency.

Two people who are completely head over heels, ride or die, basically clinging to each other for dear life in a way that is cute, heartwarming and at least a bit dysfunctional/toxic.

The pair who will start dramatically pining for each other when separated for more than 12 hours. Who will go batshit murder-everything-in-sight if they see the other get hurt. Who will love and support each other’s decisions even if they are kinda dumb and liable to blow up in their faces. Because at least it will blow up their faces together.

Okay, full disclosure, the more common Aizawa ships are fantastic. Erasermic is a ship of all time that makes non-fans genuinely ask me "wait, that isn't canon?" Erasermight is a classic black cat/golden retriever pair, and the concept of Shigaraki being an Eraserhead fanboy is hilarious for a lot of reasons that Eraserdust always capitalizes on.

HOWEVER!

As some of you may know, I am a teacher/student freak and Aizawa is way too perfect a candidate to break so hard that he loses all his better judgement and ends up with a cute boy half his age.

Shinzawa is the most obvious choice and it's been my favorite for a while. I think both of them are severely lacking in people that think like them. They end up surrounded by extroverts that, while friendly, can be a bit exhausting to be around. Two cat lovers just content being quiet in each other's company is such a calming energy that they would both love. Plus, I feel like Aizawa is the only person that can make Shinsou genuinely nervous and anxious to a degree. He has a lot to prove taking on his combat methods so it's hard to seem confident and in control when, as a teacher, Shouta is so privy to his stumbles as he learns. It's cute!!

Aideku is one that I have gotten obsessed with in the last few weeks after the manga ended. The fact that they're coworkers now opens up so much for their interactions. Shouta's little problem student fumbling through adulthood with that sweet infectious smile on his face. I just know Izuku would tut and fuss over Aizawa's health now that he's interacting him with less of a power imbalance. He definitely slips and calls him sensei all the time even though he's also a teacher now. It's like he's barely grown up at all and honestly some of that youthful vigor might be good for Shouta too.

Aibaku is a very similar flavor but way more volatile. Where Izuku would be defiant but ultimately willing to shrink down and admit fault if Aizawa was pissed with him, Katsuki bites back and needs more...force to put him back in his place. It's a great initial vibe but it also lends itself to Katsuki getting ripped asunder emotionally with how observant Aizawa is. There's no way he wouldn't pick up on Katsuki's sensitive points and push for him to let them out instead of just snapping at everyone to keep them at a distance. It's a firm hand that Katsuki desperately needs sometimes and it's hot as fuck when someone can get Bakugou to cry.

Zucest 👀

Well, I can't say I ship it but I think it is hella valid and I completely understand where the Zucest shippers are coming from. The bedroom scene like lmao come on, and Grey even admitted she voiced that part seductively on purpose. Plus (and people can deny this all they want) it is canon that Azula loves Zuko more than anyone, aside from their father. It's not hard at all to imagine this crossing from the platonic realm to something else, given how messed up and starved for affection these two kids are.

I've definitely read some Zucest fics that I really enjoyed (some of which are yours of course lol) and am generally not opposed to the ship. It's just not something I'd go out of my way to look for. I do admit the kink potential is super hot though, and I'm in agreement that Zuko would have all the same nasty kinks as his father. It's similar to Ozula in a lot of ways, just without the creepy age gap and huge power imbalance.

Also again, I'm fine with anything that upsets the toxic lesbian Azula "truthers" and the antis, and Zucest kills two birds with one stone.

Who is a night owl: Osiris, as the resident insomniac. Felwinter too, sometimes, but he values the opportunity to sleep or rest safely so he takes the chance when he can.

Who is a morning person: Felwinter 100% to the resentment of everyone else.

Are they cuddlers: Timur cuddles like he's made of Velcro. It's getting him to stop that's the trick.

Who is the big spoon and who is the little spoon: Felwinter is adamant Big Spoon with Osiris as the Little Spoon whether he likes it or not. Timur rotates, but jetpacks on Felwinter as often as he can get away with it.

What is their favourite sleeping position: See above^ but probably in a neat little stack.

Who steals all the blankets: Osiris. He just rolls them right up until he's a bird burrito in the middle. He likes it Toasty(TM).

What they wear to bed: Fel's commando, Osiris is a jammies guy. Timur crashes out however he fell, sometimes with boots and everything, sometimes buck naked, even wet straight out of the bath. Felwinter hates him a little for it.

Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt: Timur

Who falls asleep mid-conversation: Osiris because he forgot to sleep yesterday and he's running on fumes.

Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares: Timur and Osiris are both afflicted

Hehehe, spicy subject indeed. I honestly hadn't thought of this, but since I'm being asked, I would say that Kuvira is a boob person with Asami, for good reasons we can agree I might add, while Asami is the butt person with Kuvira, because earth and metalbenders have some good hips, butt, and legs on 'em.

With Korvira, things are a bit different because although Korra shares Asami's fascination with some ex Great Uniter booty, Kuvira is happy to find herself among the ranks of those obsessed with Korra’s muscles, especially when she finds herself wrapped around those strong arms. 😉

I ship it and I don’t?

Like, the banter is there, Edgeworth is the most tsundere that ever tsundered, but their dynamic doesn’t quite have the spark that pushes them past friends for me. I see cute art of them and smile, but I don’t think I could ever write them as more than friends. Would they try to get together? Probably. Would it last? I personally don’t think so.

Why don’t I ship it?

I think they aren’t open enough, and we don’t get enough of them really talking to get past that. They’re definitely friends, and sassy ones at that, but I’m not sure Miles would be comfortable enough to actually dig into Phoenix’s issues, and Phoenix has such a people pleaser complex, ESPECIALLY with people he cares about, that I don’t know if he’d ever want to make Miles uncomfortable by asking. They’re both too comfortable in the frenemies corner they’ve shoved themselves into.

What would have made me ship it?

Really? I think it already has a lot of things I enjoy, which is why it’s complicated. Old friends finding themselves on the opposite sides of a war, the enemies to friends to maybe more, Phoenix practically changing every plan for his own life to save Miles…

I just have a feeling that them getting together would end up as more of a fling that would fizzle out after a while. They are obsessed with each other and they could definitely mistake it for romance, but after a while I think they’d realize they’re just better in a platonic relationship.

Anything positive to say about them

I think I already did that through all of this, lol. I think it’s just not my thing and that I’m so deep in the Laywright trenches (ten years and still going strong) that it doesn’t really register in my brain more than, “they might have had a temporary thing, but eventually they just keep it to platonic flirting” lol. It’s very similar with Ranlay for me.

30. Vincent calls Cid Chief sometimes canonically but that’s pretty much as far as he goes. He’s just awkward and terrible at pet names, and is too shy to try it. Whereas, Cid revels in the joy of both embarrassing Vincent and grossing out their teammates at the same time, and thus there is not a pet name in existence he hasn’t used for Vincent.

32. It’s Vincent. He’s a dark edgy loner vampire on the surface but we all know he’s really a shy, touch-starved neurodivergent who’s been living in a box underground for decades. He has circulation issues from having materia in his chest instead of a heart, and thus is chronically cold, but he has discovered that Cid radiates heat like a small sun, and so behind closed doors, he’s always stuck on Cid like a lamprey, absorbing all that delicious human warmth. At least that’s his excuse.

He still has some old fashioned hangups about PDA, so in public he satisfies himself with standing in Cid’s general vicinity, being silent and dour. Until he feels that his man has socialised enough, and he wants attention now. Then he will scoop Cid off his feet without a word, and carry him bodily away, regardless of who he’s talking to or where they are.

The team is used to this and have come to accept it.

What do think about Lizzy ships, like V/Lizzy or Uzi/Lizzy?

hm i'm don't mind these couples, but i'm also not particularly interested

i think V/Lizzy looks like a good brotp to me, they're cute girls, it would be cool to see them hang out together more. probably, my favorite art with them is this piece from @ ghoulinfuschia ( hi sorry i hope you don’t mind that I attach your art :"") ), they are such adorable friends together, girly-girl and girl-maniac yeeaahh !! >x)))

i don't think i've seen much Lizzy/Uzi content, but i think they're funny together. i know some people don't like this ship because it's a bully/victim pairing, but for me it's probably not a big deal. my favorite couple in deltarune is literally Susie/Kris, although initially Susie bullied them and Kris was her victim, however they were able to become friends and now they are good buddies together !! maybe if Lizzy tried to find out more about Uzi, find out about why she behaves this way, why she's aggressive and unfriendly to everyone, maybe she could understand and sympathize with her

Well now I have to know, why do you like Ruby with: Wiess, Penny, Pyrrha, Blake and heck Neo respectively?

Weiss: Honestly that is WAY too long of an answer for me to put here. White Rose has been my OTP for RWBY practically since day one and especially ever since Volume 6. It just hits so many of things I love to see in a ship.

Penny: This one is largely due to all the ship-teasing we’ve gotten in-show. So many of their scenes together are incredible and it’s been fascinating to see the long-term effects that Ruby and Penny have had on one another. Along with Weiss, Penny is the only other character I would consider a truly viable ‘canon love interest’ for Ruby in a ‘this could actually happen’ way.

Pyrrha: Honestly, you can see my ‘Underrated RWBY ships’ answer for my feelings on Milk and Cereal XD Pyrrha actually has so much in common with Ruby that it makes a ship between them feel really interesting.

Blake: Ladybug is mostly a ‘I just think they’re cute together’ ship as well as a bit of a holdover from back when I was really into the ‘Pollination’ poly-RWBY ship. And seeing just how ride-or-die Blake has become for Ruby in recent volumes just makes it all the more fun.

Neo: Strawberry Shortcake is kind of my main ‘just for fun’ crackship. Between the rivalry/antagonism, Neo’s generally playful/flirty demeanor and the potential for a ‘let’s team up to kick Cinder’s ass together’ payoff, Ruby and Neo are just fun to imagine together.
