oh i really like them! but i see them as a platonic pairing. i like to think that if they teamed up (Liam that would be so cool, why did you kill Doll) they could understand each other better and sympathize with each other since they have the same problem + they have loved ones dead + they are traumatized + they are unloved and stuff

Zucest 👀

Well, I can't say I ship it but I think it is hella valid and I completely understand where the Zucest shippers are coming from. The bedroom scene like lmao come on, and Grey even admitted she voiced that part seductively on purpose. Plus (and people can deny this all they want) it is canon that Azula loves Zuko more than anyone, aside from their father. It's not hard at all to imagine this crossing from the platonic realm to something else, given how messed up and starved for affection these two kids are.

I've definitely read some Zucest fics that I really enjoyed (some of which are yours of course lol) and am generally not opposed to the ship. It's just not something I'd go out of my way to look for. I do admit the kink potential is super hot though, and I'm in agreement that Zuko would have all the same nasty kinks as his father. It's similar to Ozula in a lot of ways, just without the creepy age gap and huge power imbalance.

Also again, I'm fine with anything that upsets the toxic lesbian Azula "truthers" and the antis, and Zucest kills two birds with one stone.

who do u ship with aizawa

Okay, full disclosure, the more common Aizawa ships are fantastic. Erasermic is a ship of all time that makes non-fans genuinely ask me "wait, that isn't canon?" Erasermight is a classic black cat/golden retriever pair, and the concept of Shigaraki being an Eraserhead fanboy is hilarious for a lot of reasons that Eraserdust always capitalizes on.

HOWEVER!

As some of you may know, I am a teacher/student freak and Aizawa is way too perfect a candidate to break so hard that he loses all his better judgement and ends up with a cute boy half his age.

Shinzawa is the most obvious choice and it's been my favorite for a while. I think both of them are severely lacking in people that think like them. They end up surrounded by extroverts that, while friendly, can be a bit exhausting to be around. Two cat lovers just content being quiet in each other's company is such a calming energy that they would both love. Plus, I feel like Aizawa is the only person that can make Shinsou genuinely nervous and anxious to a degree. He has a lot to prove taking on his combat methods so it's hard to seem confident and in control when, as a teacher, Shouta is so privy to his stumbles as he learns. It's cute!!

Aideku is one that I have gotten obsessed with in the last few weeks after the manga ended. The fact that they're coworkers now opens up so much for their interactions. Shouta's little problem student fumbling through adulthood with that sweet infectious smile on his face. I just know Izuku would tut and fuss over Aizawa's health now that he's interacting him with less of a power imbalance. He definitely slips and calls him sensei all the time even though he's also a teacher now. It's like he's barely grown up at all and honestly some of that youthful vigor might be good for Shouta too.

Aibaku is a very similar flavor but way more volatile. Where Izuku would be defiant but ultimately willing to shrink down and admit fault if Aizawa was pissed with him, Katsuki bites back and needs more...force to put him back in his place. It's a great initial vibe but it also lends itself to Katsuki getting ripped asunder emotionally with how observant Aizawa is. There's no way he wouldn't pick up on Katsuki's sensitive points and push for him to let them out instead of just snapping at everyone to keep them at a distance. It's a firm hand that Katsuki desperately needs sometimes and it's hot as fuck when someone can get Bakugou to cry.

30. Vincent calls Cid Chief sometimes canonically but that’s pretty much as far as he goes. He’s just awkward and terrible at pet names, and is too shy to try it. Whereas, Cid revels in the joy of both embarrassing Vincent and grossing out their teammates at the same time, and thus there is not a pet name in existence he hasn’t used for Vincent.

NOTE: Vincent claims to be indifferent to pet names, but on a certain occasion, he was lurking nearby unseen, making sure Cid was safe walking home from the grocery store (HE HAS ANXIETY ISSUES DON’T JUDGE). He overheard some women flirting with Cid, to which Cid replied “No thanks ladies, i’m goin’ home to my wife.” Vincent went fully nonverbal for three days afterward. Cid’s back and hips have yet to recover.

32. It’s Vincent. He’s a dark edgy loner vampire on the surface but we all know he’s really a shy, touch-starved neurodivergent who’s been living in a box underground for decades. He has circulation issues from having materia in his chest instead of a heart, and thus is chronically cold, but he has discovered that Cid radiates heat like a small sun, and so behind closed doors, he’s always stuck on Cid like a lamprey, absorbing all that delicious human warmth. At least that’s his excuse.

He still has some old fashioned hangups about PDA, so in public he satisfies himself with standing in Cid’s general vicinity, being silent and dour. Until he feels that his man has socialised enough, and he wants attention now. Then he will scoop Cid off his feet without a word, and carry him bodily away, regardless of who he’s talking to or where they are.

The team is used to this and have come to accept it.

KiriMina is fine with me, though it's obviously not my fave haha I have unusual headcanons about the ship too that aren't very compatible with what I've seen of the ship in the fandom (or even in later canon lmao), so I don't really seek it out most of the time!

my personal opinion is they'd be more fun as a sort of rival ship, I feel it's something that could happen naturally with the way their personalities clash, how Kiri saw her being so naturally talented while he had to work hard and had all his insecurities, and the way she was teasing him when they started at UA? that's something that could spark a sort of rivalry imo

Tyzula? Hmmmm. If I was rating the Avatar ships on a tier list, I would put Tyzula at B, below A and S. I don’t think Tyzula is bad, far from it. It has the potential to be a really really great ship. From post war fics describing how Ty Lee and Azula start to become friends again to fics saying they were together during the war. I think Azula and Ty Lee’s friendship and attitudes would make for some really cute and angsty moments.

Even in my Azutara fics I’ll sometimes slip in the idea that Azula and Ty Lee either dated in the past or Azula liked her because I can really see this ship being canon.

The only thing keeping it from being higher up on my list is because…..*hides behind my hands* I’m not the biggest Ty Lee fan. I like her! I really do. I think she’s a great character but her potential is wasted away in the show (not to mention the comics). Mai has a similar problem which keeps her from being a favorite of mine, but her and Ty Lee get no character development in the show (minus the two minutes during the Beach). It’s just so hard to get really invested in this ship because I don’t really have a strong connection with Ty Lee.

hm i'm don't mind these couples, but i'm also not particularly interested

i think V/Lizzy looks like a good brotp to me, they're cute girls, it would be cool to see them hang out together more. probably, my favorite art with them is this piece from @ ghoulinfuschia ( hi sorry i hope you don’t mind that I attach your art :"") ), they are such adorable friends together, girly-girl and girl-maniac yeeaahh !! >x)))

i don't think i've seen much Lizzy/Uzi content, but i think they're funny together. i know some people don't like this ship because it's a bully/victim pairing, but for me it's probably not a big deal. my favorite couple in deltarune is literally Susie/Kris, although initially Susie bullied them and Kris was her victim, however they were able to become friends and now they are good buddies together !! maybe if Lizzy tried to find out more about Uzi, find out about why she behaves this way, why she's aggressive and unfriendly to everyone, maybe she could understand and sympathize with her

As the triple trouble anon I’m just borrowing a lotta stuff from mellowyellow so pls credit them bc their what I’m getting a lot of this info from but as far as I know Arthur and Audrey aren’t too far off from each other due to some specific parallels (six letter name, both are ‘hated’ by Orin in some way, etc), so if Arthur were to be an MTF it’s very likely that she’d end up being another Audrey, especially when it comes to the naming.

However I don’t think they’d act exactly the same. Arya (tfem Arthur. Name stolen from mellowyellow lol) would probably be less introverted and certainly way more extroverted despite likely sharing many insecurities with Audrey. She’s also a lot more willing to annoy people. I can imagine she’d be twice as annoying than usual to Orin. At the very least she gets a glow up.p

I absolutely adore the fuck out of Sokkla, and have since pretty much the beginning. There are no words to accurately describe how much I love this ship. It is perfection, and it makes me so happy to see that it's becoming more popular. And Sokkla shippers are such a cool group of people, who legit have created some of the best works of fanfiction and art in the entire fandom. Like it is seriously top-tier.
