A good relationship is give and take (by give and take I do of course mean giving Jess high blood pressure, and making her take anti anxiety medication 😂)

I really feel like MPP's plan was winning the 2023 Worlds and then proposed to Laura during their trip to Hawaii! They got second place and kinda fucked top the plan, but she did ended up proposing to Laura anyway 😅 Also, how did she managed to hide the ring omg 🫣

I just know about midway through the Canada shootout when she was sat watching a dodgy HDMI conmected screen in a flat somewhere in NY about to go to play a game for a team where she didn't know a single one of her new teammates name and stressing over her fiancée catching a ball, 26 year old Jess was cursing her younger self slightly 😂 could've fallen in love with a normal person but no. Had to choose the stressful goalkeeper who loves penalties. And now here we are.

akb lives her life by the mantra of work smart (and) hard. Don't want to deal with a heartbroken flatmate? Not a bother, just fall in love with her yourself and go from there. That way you make certain there's no messy break ups or heartaches. Not certain if your flatmate likes girls? Kiss her, you'll find out soon enough. It's takes even more nerves to just kiss your 'very straight' teammate and roommate after she hasn't even realised that you actually asked her out romantically and that was indeed supposed to be a date. I thought stuff like that only happened in fiction 😅

As we are all learning in real time, everytime some let's the ball anywhere near her. AKB likes to live a high stress life in very specific ways. Watching her behaviour on the pitch for Gotham seems to explain everything I need to know about her "well she didn't say she wasn't attracted to women so let's give it a shot" vibes. For everything else she's as laid back as they come though.
