Sophie Scholl

20 y/o member of anti-Nazi "White Rose" group - along with her brother, boyfriend, and a couple others - who created and distributed pamphlets speaking out against Hitler & Nazism and calling for revolution from their university in Munich and eventually mailed to thousands of households throughout Germany. When caught and arrested, Sophie, her brother Hans, and their friend and co-conspirator Christoph chose to take the fall for the whole group and all its activities. She was sentenced to death by guillotine, and stood by her choices and beliefs with pride all the way til the end. She was murdered by the state for "treason" at 21 years old.
