currently playing infinity nikki for the first time (as well as my first time playing any gacha game) and i am. so perplexed by this girl.

she is nonconsensually ripped from her home and sucked into some other universe. the annoying rat is taken with her and they end up in some dark souls esque world. she now has the powers of levitation (?!) and shooting objects from her hand (?!) that can only harm bad guys and completely miss everything else in the environment. are these powers conscious of who it can hit or does nikki just have really good aim? after she meets some lady who has been chained to the ceiling for who knows how many years, a "heart" of some sort is forced into nikki's chest which gives her weird pains (no shit) from time to time when she witnesses emotional or "whimsical" displays.

anyway, im traversing this new land, in shock that this poor girl opened a simple wardrobe and is now in what appears to be some alternate universe where clothes have magic powers. if that were me, i'd be freaking out and wondering where the hell i am, what planet im on, and if im dreaming

i mean, shes casually introducing herself to dada and giovanni like shes just some girl from the next town over; no! youre not supposed to be here!! youre essentially an alien and youre fooling everybody!!

Alright be real with me guys, should I play Infinity Nikki? I have a love hate relationship with Paper and I'm trying to break the cycle. But also... game pretty? If I did play I'd play it f2p (for the first time since I discovered Nikki).

Narrator: But she shouldn't have said such harsh stuff about things she doesn't appreciate.

Narrator: No kidding! While I admit that she's really good and that I do want to add more traditional elements in my design...

Narrator: That day, I meet Jiang Xitong, just when the music stops and I'm ready to go.

Jiang Xitong: How long are you gonna watch it?

Narrator: The museum staff have to go back with the imposing Xitong.

Chi Xiaoyu: What did I do? I swear, I haven't ditched a class lately! This semester, I passed all but one course!

Class Teacher: Principal will talk to you later.

Chi Xiaoyu: ...Principal???

Class Teacher: Principal is waiting for you in the office.

Narrator: I walk to Principal's office, butterflies in my pants. He shakes his head at the sigh of me.

Principal: Chi Xiaoyu...

Principal: The school received another letter of complaint again.

Principal: There have been complaints on your weird dance before the Cloud National Museum, for damaging the image of Cloudcrest.

Chi Xiaoyu: I did that... To break everyone's stereotype of Cloud and set a new trend! You said we would change Cloud!

Principal: Um, did I say that...

Principal: No, that's not the point. Now I have these letters of complaint on my desk.

Principal: The National Museum is the school's key collaboration, so the school has decided to give a punishment.

Principal: A month of internship at the Cloud Museum this vacation.

Principal: No pay. But this is a golden opportunity where you can learn from Professor Jiang about traditional culture and manners!

Chi Xiaoyu: You mean Jiang... Jiang Xitong???!

Narrator: I thought it'd be transcribing textbooks. I didn't know it'd be that "harsh"...

Narrator: It's going to be a very difficult month.

Choose either "Perhaps you'll become friends" or "You all like to design."

You: Maybe you can become friends?

Narrator: Stop pulling my leg. Becoming friends with Jiang Xitong, it's out of the picture.

You: You're actually the same in terms of the passion for design.

Narrator: That being said... Well, I'll try and live in peace with her...

For a while I had a piece of plank for a phone and because of that I was away from the shining nikki community and from the game itself. I'm so confused by the shit that has been going on lore wise. There's also a new open world game that I have been dying to play since I found about it 30 minutes ago. There's also a movie/game whatever that has baby Nikki out and about flying and being parentless as always. What the hell happened here??????

Also, I really would like to understand what is going on in the lore, but the content creators in this community do not talk about it as often as they should (or maybe I should follow more creators other than vivigaming).

Well, I guess I'll have to catch up by myself here
