Oh boy, I haven't posted any art here in a minute,, But here's a Flora splash art since I'd been wanting to draw her enchantix for a while, she had the prettiest one imo (Stella will always be my fave tho)

what i love about winx friendships is that, each duo has its own unique dynamic.

let's take stella as an example!

bloom is her bestie whom she's immediately clicked with. even though it was an instant connection, it has never been an intense nor forced type of a bond. they're simply just so alike. bloom is impulsive with her actions, stella is impulsive with her words. they're both incredibly protective of others. and most things done by either of them, have been done out of pure burning passion. welp, they are literally the hottest fairies after all! :3

flora has a personality almost opposite of hers. stella's tongue works faster than her brain. meanwhile, flora is thoughtful. stella doesn't understand other people's emotions much, but flora is extremely empathetic. them being so different from each other causes them to fight so often. but regardless of their disagreements, they still love each other dearly. (also their arguments are quite entertaining ngl)

musa and stella are equally blunt. this causes constant back and forth roasts and brutal honesty. i feel like people who don't know them well could mistake their dynamic as rivalry. but no, they're just both playful, sassy queens who have an amazing sense of humor.

tecna, even though she's capable of analyzing anything that exists...she can't find logic in stella's behavior whatsoever. why does she get more and more silly as the issues are continuously piling up? why can't she just be serious for once? tecna remains serious and focused in those situations, because what is there to joke about? but even though stella's behavior is irritating to tecna at times, i'm sure she helps her loosen up a lil with her laid back attitude.

also, keep in mind these are my impressions based on watching only first season!! i will yap more about their friendships as i continue watching the show! ✨

Variations for Land and Sea Androsi clothing

These are the main ones. There are more variations for the Androsians that live on the islands on the planet but I figured I’d just do the main ones that would be seen the most on my rewrite.

Used Niobe and her father as the models for the Land variations since there are more differences in traditionally feminine and masculine clothing whereas for Sea Androsi clothing it’s all pretty homogeneous so I just used Aisha.

There is a type of gender binary present on Andros but it’s loose and anyone can wear anything regardless but the appearance of the clothing is typically used as an indicator of the wearer’s gender.

This one ended up being way more detailed than the other traditional wear for the other home worlds than, but more stuff just kept coming to me while I was drawing and who am I to deny the muses even if my wrists hurt😭

Furthest Inland Variants:

- loose clothing

- lots of geometric print

- neckwear typical at all times

- head decor typically worked into hair

- topless with large chest/neck adornment common style for everyone

6th image:

- animal hide used mostly for accent pieces in traditionally femme pieces with more beadwork present

The last on the Land Androsi variations are examples of Courtwear

- overall, traditionally masc looks have more wrap around cloth and less pattern work

8th image:

- more beadwork, less metal overall for Land Androsi mainly due to less ore deposits being located further inland. Resulted in fashion proffering it more as smaller accent wear.

- more angular shapes more common on Land Androsi clothes

- circle gems/beads present on Land and Sea Androsi wear

- tear shape gems almost exclusively on Sea Androsi

About the diamond symbol with the circle and tear shape in the middle:

- an older symbol still used where the diamond represents the land surrounding the sea, which is the circle with the tear drop in the middle to emphasize that. For those on land, that is their whole world so they used to view it as the land encompassing the sea with land as the main body in the planet.

- more shells common in this kind of look

- still more metals than Land Androsi variants typically, but less than other wealthier Sea Androsi looks. Hair is still usually very elaborate though as is present through all Sea Androsi styles

- symbol for the moons with the metal ring representing the bigger of the 2 moons and the empty space in it to represent the 2nd smaller moon.

Fun fact about it not featured on the page: sometimes the piece is one solid coin with a line etched into it so the same shape is present. Usually only Sea Androsi with more money have that though or there’s a few in a family handed down through the generations.

10th image:

- example of a more typical wealthier/court look

- lots of metal work

- pearls in abundance

- open shoulders

11th image:

General info:

- shells

- jewelwork

- more embroidery

- flowing cloth

- Earth equivalent of silks

- more detailed cloth printings and more pattern work
