Khun Pemika is such a GREAT antagonist because she’s not pure evil. @doublel27 called her a “fairy queen” when we were discussing episode 11, and that’s exactly it. She’s engaged in problems and logics that aren’t a part of our protagonists’ planes or stories. She’s granting people’s wishes but not the way they expected. She has legitimate reasons and limits to what her powers are. When I compare her to some other recent GMMTV girlbosses like Khun Lilly in The Heart Killers and Khun Yada in Kidnap, she comes off so favorably because we’re given the context that she’s struggling through battles against bigger powers. We agree with some of her morals. Her beneficence just ends there, and it’s up to the protagonists to figure out their own way through her inhuman guidance and the limited gifts she can offer them. She’s powerful and strategic, you could even say ‘heartless,’ but she’s not evil. She’s just a very well-paid hot employee doing her job, and that, unfortunately for our lovers and boy band, doesn’t align precisely with their goals.

#Listen: there are actual issues with the financial distribution that happens in record companies #But the show’s not touching on that #In the context of the show: she’s just a pretty reasonable business woman with nefarious scoring in all her scenes lol #thamepo #Thamepo the series
