The Nightmare Cloak

This is meant to be similar in vibe to the super old drawing of Grimm's cloak. It changed quite a lot since then, I decided to make it more "organic" in how it behaves for a much varied range of shapes and movement. It can also retract and disappear, so even if he's wearing different outfits, it's still there in case he needs it. Other than that, it has the same lore as before, so it's just a visual upgrade.

grimm is at least connected to a higher being! i believe the extent of which it goes to is that he is connected to the nightmare heart (ruler of the nightmare realm, a counterpart? of sorts? to the typical dream realm) and takes on a mortal form for it, kind of?

the details arent super clear but grimm is at least higher being ADJACENT given the fact he's sort of a vessel for which the nightmare heart interacts with the "real" world in hollow knight

hey so ik he's a Higher Being and he has his own shit to worry about but like. Grimm is still a father. yk. He's still a parent.

...do you think he was bitter about what the Pale King did to Hollow. Do you think he looked at the Knight and Hornet with sympathy hidden away inside of him, thinking about how he couldn't imagine putting his own little one through such pain.

Do you think he was hoping the Knight had fun fighting him, dancing together for the sake of his child?

Do you think he would've wanted to offer to let the Knight come with him? To join the troupe.

...do we think that Grimm would have loved the Vessels like his own child, if he was given the chance? Because I do. I think he would've. I'm having emotions about it. Please help me.
