sculpted a strange shimmery two headed snail, speckled with wild flowers on it's shell~

#sculpture #snail #fantasy art #I have never sculpted or even drawn a snail before #so hopefully the anatomy is not incredibly off #(though if so.. I guess it could also just pass as further Strange Magical Mutations lol)#It doesn't show up as well in the photo but the shell has some irridescent eyeshadow on it so it kind of alternates a little warm #red and teal as you move it.#Made for an art contest on a game that I play lol (I wouldnt normally think to sculpt a snail on my own if it werent part of a #prompt) but I do kind of like the way it came out.. sort of..#Perhaps a real creature that exists in Nanyevimi (my worldbuilding setting) in some capacity then.. hrmm #also in relevance to this blog i DO STILL WANT TO finish the story with the little adventurer... goursh I have just had so much going on..#all of my little side projects like that have fallen away for so long. #cats #nhgnhmmm.. yommy... paper favorite food #(I do not actually let him eat paper)#ALSO I'm still working on doing the poll adventure thing I've just had a lot going on. as usual. It's actually harder than #I initially thought to regularly find time to do a quick ms paint sketch and a small writing blurb #it's like even though it doesn't take extremely long it's still one of those things that is hard to carve out a little portion of the day #to do if your day is set up in a way not conducive to portion carving #BUT .. at least I have posted many drafts #as usual.. my style of like.. post nothing for 3 weeks then randomly post 25 things at once #NO idea why my brain works that way. it just does. it's easier #even though I know it's worse in terms of like. social media #the algorithms in most places prefer consistent steady uploads over time. not jarringly wavering between absence and hyper presence #then absence again. but .. alas...#Good to clear out a few drafts once in a while anyway. And I do really want to get back to scullptures and costumes. I stopped as much for #a while due to the pandemic (can't go to the bins anymore to get new supplies for costumes and stuff) as well as my worsened #health things/lack of energy and also my chest injury (so repetitive movements with my arms such as sitting in the same #position sculpting for 4 hours or changing clothes multiple times in quick succession etc. could flare it up) but obviously #none of those things are going to get better any time soon. so I should probably just try to do it here and there anyway. It's still not #safe to go to the bins. still having muscle problems. still low energy. But I could make it work maybe. I just feel bad having gotten out #of the habit when it is really fun stuff that I enjoy. Some things just get more difficult for me over time #But even like 3 sculptures and 10 costumes a year is better than 0 of any of those things. So. eh #I'm also just trying to clear out pictures still. My spring cleaning (which I do at the start of every new year instead of actual spring)#was kind of delayed this year due to me feeling sick and everything so even late into april I'm still working on the side at like orgnazing #all of the files on my computer. deleting things and backing up whatever I want to keep. clearing out photos.#editing and drafting (and maybe one day posting) old stuff form a while ago. etc. etc.#So any progress is good progress. I suppose.#ANYWAY.... a son... he gets very excited everytime he hears anyone anywhere crinkle up a piece of paper

OR: Wild only has thirty days left alive because Rauru’s arm only kept him alive to save Zelda, and to keep cool new powers. Also, he’s the Sage of Sprit now because why not.

progress of a commission i’ve been working on for a hot second.... getting there! :-) excited to get to the fine details!

#my stuff #this is the first full character model i've really done everything for #including rigging and posing it from scratch #i've done edits on other people's character models including quite drastic re-sculpts #and i've rigged n fine tuned the rigging on a lot of models for work #and i've sculpted a few busts! but never had the chance to really combine it all :) it's been fun and really enlightening!#this has taken a lot longer than i expected more due to work being super hectic so i feel a little.... like i could have been faster but #when your day job and your hobby/side job is the same thing it's kind of a big balancing act to figuring out how to allot time without #completely burning out #not a character artist but sculpting is really enjoyable

#mine #okay so summary of what happened lmaooo #got out of a toxic friendship last year (yay!) and basically it went from okay to really bad real quicl in a spam of months #so i dont have the motional capacity to even be creative by drawing #i did write and oh boy if it wasnt a life saver #then after that i was drained physically and mentally and emotionally #and also full of rage lol #plus school #so i was being my own therqpist for the past year #well technically for the past 5 years lol #and i got a huge creative block on drawing and writing during that #the drawing was stagnant for longer than the writing #thats why the last drawing i posted wasnt on par as my older ones #writing came back for a few months then disappeared complete the past few months #took up sculpting tho so i might sculpt something from lwa #and yeah #rn its busy due to internship but its the last push!#i might be able tk do diakko week next year #cause im done school on half the year #yassssss #so sorry for the anon that kept on reminding me #i wasnt ignoring you i was just busyyyy #and i wasnt on here most of the time #im here now tho cause wicked is my current hyperfixation lmao #thank you!

sincerely i think the worst part of having bjds of different sizes and styles is you will get a guy bc u think he looks nice and then you realize his head is massive and doesnt mesh with ANY of your other guys...
