just an obvious adolescent just there- shapeshifting, playing, and running around with the tiniest of clip clops

confusing the heck outta everyone there, making staff befuddled, frantic trying to get the child out of the casino, and just casually gifting Y/N and the boys diamonds, gold/silver/bronze respectively, little ribbons, fidgets, ECT because Lurker has no concept of money, rarity, or value besides emotional

Plus, even if it was discouraged to touch the boys BC of skin oils, Lurker would be able to hug them just fine. They don’t have oils for anyone to worry about.

Lurker is a neutral chaotic who wants to play and get attention, and defies all laws of science and physics without even realizing because they don’t know what science and physics are

Lurker would crawl along walls and ceilings to look eclipse in the eyes at eye level because it’s funny

lurker would quickly love going to the casino

there would be a sign to not let them in eventually. It wouldn’t work

Lurker wouldn’t care about it, and would easily skirt around the employees trying to remove them.

Lurker would become the irritant of uptight employees,

and would bring sweets and snacks in to share with the birds and Y/N

I can’t stop thinking about your Wine and Feathers AU and how Lurker (my socially inept little shapeshifter that collects pronouns and genders like they collect random trinkets) would react…

even though Lurker is an adolescent, it would be easy for Xem to get in for one of three reasons;

1; she is so quiet, despite her legs being deer, and therefore having hooves

2; even if someone did notice him, what would they do? It’s a 99% greyscale (minus the mouth, still red there) half deer gender neutral thing - first reaction is ‘am I seeing that right?!’ Then ‘what did I drink/do?!’

3; if someone DID stop them initially, xey would simply turn into a small animal or something - shapeshifter perks lol

and then once inside, she would immediately notice ‘hey, everyone likes them because of feathers? I can have feathers!!!”

and immediately interact with the nearest of the brothers (BC pretty feathers) and then proceed to try to mimic the structure of their feathers on a small scale.

once he perfects it, then is like ‘now I have big pretty feathers too!’ And looks for attention (most likely from Y/N, they just have an aura to them and Lurker saw how they liked the brothers feathers) and is like ‘aren’t I a cute kid?? A cute kid you are physically incapable of telling the age of? Tell me I’m cute!!!”

Lurker has -3 clues of any and all social meanings, they just want affection and attention

I keep laughing to myself when I think of Lurker just clinging to Y/N with a greyscale feather tail only knowing big feather = Y/N positive and positive is needed( the tail looking very weird with their too thin and long human-like upper body, deer legs, and penny wise teeth - but so cute at the same time)

LMAO!! Y/n would be so thoroughly confused. So would the boys.

It’s a pretty average day aboard the ship. Karen is high off her ass, Moss is trying to make friends with the feral ratbirds that live in the pipes, and Steve is trying to teach Bastier (the newest crew member) how to juggle.

Zzgnaru walks through the ship with a deep sense of satisfaction. None of the humans have said anything weird lately, nothing’s caught on fire for weeks, and Karen’s almost out of drugs. That won’t be a problem at all in a few days!

As xey pass the common room, xey hear Steve talking to his boyfriend, Josh, and Bastier. “Yeah, I think I’m gonna buy a few new skins. My current one feels kinda lame.”

Zzgnaru immediately feels like xey’ve heard something xey weren’t supposed to. Xey retreat to the bridge, where Moss and Karen sit with Amethyst (a Penaconian), Douri (an Aaki), and Banana, Moss’ current situationship, braiding each other’s hair. Karen takes one look at xir face, and excuses herself.

“Zzgnaru, hon, what’s up?” She asks, walking with xem through the corridors. “I heard Steve tell Josh and Bastier that he was going to purchase some flesh,” xey explain. Karen gives him a confused look, and asks, “Do you remember exactly what they said? Because Steve doesn’t strike me as a serial killer or a dude who’d like human taxidermy.”

Zzgnaru thinks for a moment, and then says, “I believe that he said he was going to ‘buy some new skins.’ Josh and Bastier seemed to think this was completely normal.” Karen stops, and just stares at him for a second. Then she bursts into laughter. “Oh, Zzgnaru, bae, they were talking about video games. ‘Skin’ is slang for the outfit your character is wearing. It’s not actual flesh,” she crows. Zzgnaru sighs in relief. “Thank the universe. I thought I was going to have to call in the authorities.”

Karen just laughs harder. “You know you wouldn’t. I mean, I’m literally in possession of highly illegal drugs all the time, Moss is a stalker, and Amethyst and Banana have blackmailed almost everyone on our ship- and others- at least once.”

Zzgnaru sighs in resignation. She’s right, though. Xey’re not about to sell out xir crewmates.

Its 1am but lisyen to me. Grandma is the most normal out of their group of three. Like yeah obv she's weird he's A drawtective and also in season one he's such a fail and a loser who doesnt shower enough but transition saved xem so much like it has an apartment.. A job.. eats regularly (I just KNOW rosé and york completely forget to eat sometimes) etc and also shes literally Just Some Guy. York is a prince and rosé is an ex thief but listen to me listen to me. Im literally making all this next shit completely up but you must know they have a strained relationship with their family who couldnt care less about her as a person and only want him back with them so they have an heir and they wouldve cut contact if they weren't struggling with who would take over the business when whoever has it now is gone and she has such complicated feelings towards them because they're his parents and they're not a hateful person but obviously everything about it is shitty and she gets regular letters from them trying to get him back and xey never respond in any way (but they still read them and he doesnt know why because all it does is ruin her day) and he just doesnt think about it most times because he's got family now and xe is happy with dogwalking and detecting and druiding and maybe the first time one shows up post found familying it changes her demeanor completely and york and rosé know somethings wrong and ask and help them through it and she's not ever talked about their family in a non casual way before what then. They need to take away my head I'm just making shit up but Grendan highforge save me.. Save me grandma highforge..

Waspstar receives xeir nine lives the way the Forest Four show xem to, in their new pool, by their new rules. While there, Heartstar assures xem that Juniperclaw has been removed as deputy, will never serve in a position of power again, has gone into exile.

...and Waspstar doesn't respond to that very quickly. Xe has a polite, pungent pause. "Is that the punishment for taking a life? By your code?"

"Our code," Heartstar corrects boldly, in a tone that suggests she sees this as reason and fairness. Our Code-- it protects you too, a gesture of sharing. It makes Waspstar's belly twist. "I've made his punishment VERY severe."

Severe. What a word to describe a vacation.

"He regrets what he's done?"

"Yes, very much."

Waspstar's ear flicks. No. Juniperclaw hasn't even begun to regret what he's done to SkyClan.

"SkyClan will be having a ceremony for Leafstar, to say our goodbyes and welcome in a new era," Xey offer in an even tone, "Spread the word that is is a time of forgiveness. All honored guests may come-- if they want to pay."

Heartstar waits for a beat. Then chuckles incredulously, "Your Clanmew skills could use a brush up. You mean pay their respects, yes? To honor the dead?"

"Oh my, how embarassing," Waspstar smiles back, "I'm so very sorry if I was unclear."

Clear as the sky on a cloudless day. Juniperclaw didn't make it out of that funeral alive. If a true warrior does not need to kill to win their battles, then he was no warrior under the Code at all.

Frost does not care about his own gender. He doesn't identify as anything. Why would he spend time thinking about it when he could be reading, meditating, spending time with friends, doing literally anything else. People just use pronouns to refer to him and he just goes with whatever they say.

He is extremely respectful of others identities, pronouns, etc, don't get him wrong, but he just doesn't care about his own. You think I'm a woman? Man? Enby? Okay, well I think that maybe we should focus on the task at hand.

Gricko uses this fact to have fun with pronouns. He started with the basic he/him, she/her, they/them, xey/xem, etc etc. But now every once in a while he drops the most random neopronouns you could imagine. Frost thinks it's funny
