My dad called me his son for the first time so we were talking about other piercings I want and I was telling him how when people see me I want them to go oh their weird and my dad replied you want them to be like oh that’s (insert dads name’s) son and he said this in front of my mom who is against me being trans but she didn’t say anything and I think this is a major step and I’m so happy

One time I went to an event and the person hosting instantly got mad that I had 2 sets of pronouns (I use he/they) and she forced me to choose one for the night. Then she spent the rest of the night complaining to anyone who would listen about how she 'didn't understand' and how 'confusing' it was.

Like I had multiple people I didn't know coming up to me to let me know she was mocking me. She ruined the whole event for me.

good lord, i'm so sorry you've endured that. why would she caused problems for herself like that? like at that point she's just causing this problem on purpose. she doesn't have to make it your problem that she struggles with multiple pronoun sets/using people's pronouns correctly. she is really making this about her. she is emotionally attached to her confusion and pain. that sucks.

i'm sorry she behaved like that. there's no reason for anyone to take someone else's pronouns personally like that. try as hard as you can. that's really all you can do. don't refuse and make a scene. you deserve better anon. those aren't even hard pronouns to use. that's just awful.
