The first time I saw kabru I was disappointed that he has blue eyes like :/ but I realized it’s perfectly consistent with how he’s laios’ opposite physically symbolizing how he’s his foil and opposite in general. Others have already mentioned it but

Laios: light skin, blond hair, droopy yellow/brown eyes, bigger build

Kabru: dark skin, black hair, sharp blue eyes, smaller build

Like if he had dark eyes everything else would be the opposite except that. Makes sense
