I would argue that BTS members were never contractually closeted by the company and they all had the freedom to act however they felt comfortable for them and that's why Jikook are never hidden, because they have the choice of how much they wanna show and they choose to show quite a lot. Especially with how the first contract renewal came in 2018 and that's when Jikook content saw an uptick and they were basically giving each heart eyes in every footage we saw of them until 2020 (the honeymoon era ended) but they remained as the duo with the most moments every year since, only it seems more relaxed and easy going because they aren't drunk on adrenaline anymore. But of course I'm not gonna waste time arguing about this with a hypocrite like you.

I just wanted to share this excerpt of a 2020 (?) interview of Nuno Pinto, former Prema driver coach. Here he talks about Lewis, Esteban and most especially Lance.
