♡  ˙  *  ✧  their relationship was slow going. selina’s walls were sort of hard to penetrate, and barbie didn’t want to push her. but the blonde slowly began to take down those barriers, brick by brick, and perhaps that’s what has lead to the events of the night. a bottle of wine had been drank. it wasn’t barbie’s favorite, she favored rosé, but he enjoyed the sweet red chardonnay, all the same, because she had been drinking it with selina. barbie found herself giggling into her glass, before too long, the night still young, even when they decided to sit a bit closer on the sofa. barbie was happy to have selina there, away from the center of gotham city, even if it was just for the night. freshly manicured hand had found it’s way onto selina’s leg in a fit of laughter, only for barbie to look at selina for her reaction. when the other woman placed her own hand atop hers, barbie knew that she had finally made some progress.

later in the night, barbie wanted to show selina the view of the city from the windows facing outward. they’re vast, take up most of the wall, and everything looked so small and bright from up there. barbie gave a sigh and turned to selina, only to find the other already looking at her. she doesn’t know who reached out first, who leaned into the other, but now that she was pressed against the window, one of her legs around selina’s waist with her hand on barbie’s thigh, she didn’t care. the words that are murmured into her ear cause another giggle to escape barbie, low and sweet, this time.  ‘ i could be, ’  she practically coos back, glossy bottom lip brought between her teeth as she enjoys selina’s mouth at her neck.  ‘ if you’re the one doing it, i’m sure i’d be into just about anything, ’  the way she blushes only proves her point.     @blindsite.

i love the trope of Bruce's kids being yoinked by different parent figures in their lives, and the kids knowing full well and using it to their advantage when they've got any problems with him.

Tim, pissed at Bruce: That's it, I'm staying with Shiva for the week. Cass is now my official sister 2/3 of the way.

You don't understand there's a part of me that wants Alfred Pennyworth to never age but there's another part that's like

As Alfred grows older his body grows tired and everyone notices. And for Bruce that's his surrogate father. For everyone else that's Grandpa. Immediately there's a secret boot camp in the Batcave for everyone to start learning how to better care for themselves. Selina Kyle assisting of course.

There's already disability accommodations for Barbara so they just need to tweak and add some stuff. They've learned from her needs and start researching on how to care for the elderly for Alfred specifically.

On paper he's still a butler but really everyone (who lives or stays for a long time in Wayne manor) makes sure they learn how to do the hardwork for themselves. Most of his job is just to be there for them honestly. They insist on doing things for themselves.

But Alfred is Alfred. So he knows what's going on. And he's so deeply proud of them. He doesn't let him do anything he insists he can or wants do himself. He's still his own person after all, and they gradually learn his boundaries and patterns.

Bruce keeps paying him but not in a way you'd pay a butler usually. More in a way where you'd send money to your retired parents.

I am convinced the reason powerful, intelligent women like Talia and Selina are attracted to him is because he possesses no rizz. Absolutely none.

Like when they first meet Bruce out of the suit, they're expecting to be charmed with his charisma, but since he's comfortable with both of them, he goes on a two hour long conspiracy rant on how the Pentagon is being controlled by an ancient Babylonian blood cult.
